MCI Scene in Lakewood Playgroup due to CO

[Applause] sh ask I know the teacher [Music] [Applause] at approximately 12:18 p.m. uh our police dispatcher received a carbon monoxide call at this location uh fire department responded and found the very high levels of Co in the building uh the co was uh mostly contained uh to an upstairs floor where some construction was going on but some of it uh did make its way downstairs to where there's a uh pres school for approximately 130 children that were present today and uh they were very concerning and high levels of carbon monoxide uh showing uh there as well uh the fire department asked for the building to be evacuated 130 children were evacuated um emergency agencies in resp uh responded in town we got some school buses uh you can see the tent behind me uh we have EMTs paramedics and uh a PA on scene uh helping uh to check the children and make sure that they're safe uh parents are coming to pick up their children they're given an opportunity to talk uh to the Pediatric PA that's here on the scene uh we do not have any serious injuries at this time we did have one walking person who wasn't feeling well an adult who was transported to the hospital at this time there's approximately uh 30 uh children left are waiting to be picked up by the parents uh some of the emergency services are starting to leave the scene uh we'll continue to keep this in active scene uh till all children are picked up and the building is being saved
