MCI Lakewood Over 30 Transported after Chemical Contamination The Lakewood Scoop

starting to get filled up in here or it's going to get filled up in here how do you want to do this as far as ambulance is coming in by the post office [Music] car stage right over there pulling up over there I got have more [Music] ambulance the officer come my trucks are going to be on leehi and [Music] SW guys Scot I also have the medical ambulance bus coming from Shark River so keep that in mind instead TI up all our resources if they can [Music] wait [Music] respiratory symptoms what else you just up how far BR proba go [Music] back this is an event that happened here in the industrial park uh where there was some sort of a uh situation within a building everybody had to be evacuated uh they are getting treated at this point uh there does not seem to be any immediate danger to surrounding buildings uh and the fire department is in there now trying to determine what's happening we have hope the Hazmat here and uh EMS on the other side treating all of our patients I guess as the situation for no more today we have an incident here in Lakewood where we had a food packaging facility having a liquid nitrogen leak we have approximately 16 18 workers who have uh come with a respiratory issues due to the uh leak they are being transported to local hospital no major uh ailments other than the uh respiratory uh issues 20 20 of it already been transfered [Music] our update at this point is that we've uh transported approximately 30 people to the hospital and uh right now brookley HazMat team is working with alire Department uh and they've begun the isolation process of uh making sure that the leak is contained and they are then going to invest to make sure that the rest of the building is safe and determine if there's any other Health hous Hospital
