Mayor Miller at OEM Storm Center During Blizzard

Hi, good evening and welcome to the Lakewood OEM dispatch center. This is where the hub of operations are right now on this evening. We have here to my right we have Lakewood Police Dispatchers and uh at the same point in time we have Havim, LCSW, Atsala. We're all working together seamlessly, great cooperation, all in one dispatch center. So as calls come in, whether it be TLE Police Department or Tatsella, each of the volunteer organizations are able to help each other seamlessly. We need somebody picked up, we need something taken over. Cav's here, LCSW's here, working together literally seamlessly to to enhance the uh Lakewood. Um obviously this has been going on for ever since the storm started Friday afternoon. This has been open the entire shabas, entire Saturday as well tonight. The storm is still coming down. We're still expecting a lot more snow in Lakewood and uh our emergency services are working full-time to be able to keep up with the demand of what's needed to be. Um obviously between all the volunteer organizations with LCSW and Hatsala, we're certainly uh feel very welcome here. Um Mayor Likenstein, who's currently dispatching for right now, aside for being a dispatcher for he is also the liazison for Lakeland Township Emergency Services. And Mayor, I don't know if you're middle of something right now. Looks like he is. Um, so, uh, we'll get back to him shortly.
