Mayor Akerman Statement on Tent City Ruling by Judge Foster 3-15-13

a lot of hard work went into our efforts towards Tent City I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the hundreds of people who have reached out to myself and my fellow fellow committee men um mayor Lichtenstein who was my liaison to the Tent City issue Deputy Mayor Langer and committeeman Menasha Miller and Ray Coles who have put have put in a lot of effort into this we are very pleased with Friday's decision by judge Foster we feel that he put a he put a cap a time limit to Tent City it will probably be closed down in the near future and hopefully the unfortunate residents of tent city will find shelter before next winter so we don't have to go through another winter with harsh conditions and the residents of tent city living here
