we're expecting at least 12 in and possibly upwards of 2 feet of snow to hit Lakewood over the next 12 to 24 hours once accumulation hits 12 in it's going to be very hard for our Public Works to to handle this storm but they're definitely going to try their best and they'll have the help of all available um emergency services that the township has everyone will be deployed once the snow hits 12 in of accumulation we advise everybody to stay off the roads as much as possible and all your vehicles should be parked in your driveway if possible if you live in a development where there's not enough room to park all the vehicles Offroad we're we ask that you please park your vehicles to one side of the road so that so that the other side should be clear for the for the plows please be prepared with basic necessities as if the stores will be shut we don't know for sure but we're assuming that the town might be in lockdown tomorrow and should that happen we hope that you'll be prepared and have the basic necessities in your house and also be prepared for down utilities such as Electric which has happened in the past and could very very likely happen now now as well trucks will be out all night um we'll be taking preemptive measures as usual we'll be assulting the streets and we hope to continue to do it till the storm starts and once the storm starts and accum accumulation begins we hope that we'll we'll we hope to St plowing almost immediately and continue to do so throughout the storm again we're asking everybody to please stay safe please for your own safety stay off the roads please be prepared this may be a very bad storm if we get more hit with more than 2 feet of snow then we we may be stuck for a few days but we'll do our best to take care of of the snow as the storm as much as possible in conjunction with the state and the county we'll try to clear as many main roads as possible as soon as possible and should you have an emergency just use the regular emergency numbers like 911 or call EMS or first aid or whichever organization you're in need of thank you again and stay safe
