Magen David of West Deal Bridge Project

[Music] the mag David complex is the heart and soul of the Jersey Shore the Magan David synagogue and complex represents a full way of life for our community this was the dream of our founding chairman Mr Joe betesh and Charlie sacka it's a place where you could go at any point in your life and leave very very satisfied father Al Shalom cultivated the land we have the mikve we have the social center for the seniors we have the Tora Center we have the social whole for all the of the community and so much more the theme of West deal from the very beginning was to accommodate and be a central point of the deal Shore area you come to our lot you'll see the mosum truck is there you'll see the hatala trucks are there you'll see we have the blink classes that are done there the West deal Sy OG is there for the community we have a great tight-knit Community we have a loving community and we have a thriving Community the challenge of the synagogue is we maxed out all the houses there's only 50 houses on Shadow La Drive there's 50 houses in Crystal Brook there's about 100 houses on Deal Road and Dwight drive on one side of the Sho we have the deal test site on the other side of the shol we have the golf course on the other side of the sh we have the ocean and and on this side of the sh we have a 10-ft brook right now there are plenty of people that live on Brookside that have to walk all the way to Mammoth all the way around the police department and to the Sho it's at least a 20 to 30 minute walk this 10t Brook separates 400 homes from coming to the synagogue for many years the understanding was that if we can help some of those families further away from the synagogue make it easier for them we'd have even more growth we be able to build up the area even more in my father's words the solution build a bridge if you build it they will come we're building a state-of-the-art bridge this is years and years and years in the working there's going to be lighting there's going to be a gate there's going to be Landscaping you're going to be able to walk over this by feet by wheelchair by bike this is going to withstand now this opens up that entire area a 25 minute walk has now suddenly been reduced to 10 minutes it's a game changer today with our new bridge complex and our proposed Construction West deal is going to be booming we expect that growth to accelerate over the next few years we were one of the first really to move into the community on the other side of 6 years ago and over the past 6 years we've been seeing slowly how young families have been moving into the area who will really be the lifeline and the Future Leaders of our synagogue anything that we could do in our synagogues to make it more comfortable whether it's inside the synagogue or outside the synagogue we have to do for our members because our synagogues are the key to the success of our families Magan David of West deal has been my home for over 40 years and I've seen the growth which is tremendous but the growth right now is limited asking for help from our members for the outside Community which has always supported West deal when in your life would you get an opportunity to perform this mitvah you could give a small contribution and you're going to get people to Sho in a fraction of the time this bridge is a $600,000 project we're calling on you come invest in the growth of the West steel neighborhood all my father could think about is making the community happy he wanted this Bridge done and he thought about it every single day until we brought this bridge to reality anybody that has the ability to be able to help those that now have the ability to access the B certainly will be blessed with your help we can make this Vision a reality [Music]
