[Music] thank you for coming today to uh honor Captain Mick I know this is a uh um it's a sad occasion for a lot of us and well for couple probably happy for most um in fact uh one of Grave's uh more recent uh injuries we have we have memorialized with this [Laughter] poster this uh this poster uh was on the back door his office and uh I'm going to uh to give it to him as a as a souvenir to take home I'm sure Chris might want to put in the bath uh Greg at this time we have a couple of medals for you or actually your medals that you gave us are coming back to you if you'll step forward we have a little presentation for you stand on Captain honorable discharge presented to Captain Gregory Mick in appreciation for your 34 years 7 months of service and dedication to the Long Branch Police Department August 1976 to May 1978 and the laka Police Department May 1978 to December 2010 C you deserve every one of those medals good luck [Applause] smile know you'll remain right there this time I'd like to call Officer Steve kusac to the podium PBA State PBA uh presentation will not be that long damn I know all four words too first I would like to congrat all these [Applause] years I Gucci the Gucci I'd also like to give uh you know what I'll tell you the story in a second but um I'd like to give Greg your silver lifetime going be PL PBA car platin and your P [Applause] congratulations damn I want to thank all the cops all the family friends for coming here but it was a waste because I'm not leaving hey question money I don't have much to say I just want to say when I came on La Branch I worked for a chief pool which was a good chief chief bellan chief prisco chief Marshall and we had a public safety director mark dorsy from Philly then Wayne from Philly and we even had a traveling meet Al and that's the only good Chiefs we had all right I'll throw you chy and Freddy C is hiding some place he's not who cares when I came on I came on with a bunch of guys the only guy that's left is Chuy Smith which is a pral friend and enemy of mine when I came on I had Joe lado which was a great partner another partner was Tommy Holmes Tommy Holmes somebody run in the woods we didn't have to call the dogs he was the dog he good supervisor good detective good everything I said not a good drinker Beef restaurant chuck had work with probably the most we worked I had 18 years of mid nights he had maybe 14 or 15 we weren't da weasels like a lot of you are don't feel bad about it uh any politicians here but I got to thank a lot of Merchants National light out the treat the cops good in the street want us to May at Fourth Street Mo Pizza Plus chewy [Applause] from other Merchant right now they all cheap but if the politicians were here I was going to tell them that you got to work with the police is that a protection got in this city is the police so you keep on Raging on the police I don't know what's going to happen we need new trucks we need more people the hel decreasing the pay raise the pay this town is is a lot different than oan County any place we fight everything we we put up a lush I wish the politicians were here so I can tell them we're supposed to get three new Yukons they're going to hold it up because it looks bad department they help them get the Yukon here give it to the guys we got a lot of guys here work card you get the SWAT team they do a great job and they don't get credit but they screw up they come after us we got a lot of cops that do a lot of work they get tickets wrest and the thing is before they start bitching about the police they got to come here and get the second opinion from yours Mark I guess that was enough Chief what else did you want me to [Applause] say Auto Body Bina get [Applause] a good time working with everybody and like me that's too bad I'm gone you're still here uh I want to thank all my brothers coming here that's Arie bunker brother Joey brother Billy brother Richie he's the youngest but he looks the oldest my nephew Adam my son what's your name Eric son-in-law Brian Ken k over here you want to say anything kayen likes to talk on the microphone give here very very there hi there here had some bad times here but I always treated the cops good and the cops always works no complaints we got Eddie R there I mean he could be a grandfather be 40 years how long were you here but I just wanted to tell oh I got another trouble me back there Eddie did anybody see the the bowl game from ruus last year when they won they were dump in the water and the troop got knocked on his butt but that's all I got to say unless somebody else wants me to say something else who wants me to bad MTH myself got friend over here thank you for com got two you scoop leave it out just remember what
