Lost in translation the word Sin #lostintranslation

What if I told you that the word sin in the Bible doesn't exactly mean what you think it mean? You know, growing up it felt like sin is such a heavy word. Sounds like a breaking a law, a crime that make you want to hide from God or something. But the original Hebrew Bible tells a different story. Sin in Hebrew is and it's not [music] a legal term at all. For example, Judge 20 16 everyone could find a stone and in the end and not miss in Hebrew is come from the word. The Bible literally telling us to sin simply means to miss the mark [music] and it changed the all meaning. To sin is doesn't mean that you are a bad person or a small fight with God that you need to be rejected. It's like an archer who missed the target. You may be aim for a god target for love, kindness, and truth. But your arrow landed a little bit to the left or to the right. So what does a good archer do when they are trying again [music] and again and again till they hit the target? God isn't waiting to punish you for your missing. He's waiting from you to try again and again. Don't let this mistransation weigh you down.
