whenever you hear a story a good Storyteller takes you on a journey with his story if I'm telling you about white snow or about hot summer I you are with me you going you get it someone you're with me experiencing the Heat or the cold you're like partially with me right and then you have an unexpected turn so it takes you to a new place it might not be here for here it takes you it takes you to a new place so it relaxes people because it takes them to a new place not where they were before that's right that's a whole thing about a joke it's unexpected turn your event and it takes you to a new place welcome welcome well you can experience the same situation in a much different way but in like a almost like an elevated way like a more being on camera if you do then don't sit here it's taking you to a different place okay it means you're experiencing the same moment I just started experiencing in a different way mentally right you're new place mentally as a result physically right there was a very food which is redeeming alol I'll tell you this is this is what I can tell you from my childhood okay you to Joseph in Australia I come from a family of professional hikers his long lost off they were not actually exact Maps we because of Lost in trouble several times but uh but uh so so why now my both parents were in Academia and in specifically academic circles hiking was very very popular why because it's a very high stress the Academia well Academia today in America means teaching but it also means research they were doing researches with very heavy deadlines in Russia all of the science was based on Military and everything is military was the only branch of economy that was actually functioning in Russia and everything was focused on Military and mil was giving very hard deadlines and very strict guidelines and it is it still like that no now even military is not working in Russia uh so as as we saw in Ukraine war but but but but but when I grew up military was the only functioning part of the country so so so it was very very high pressure high pressure deadline staying up nights and and it's a research and it's you have to come up with Solutions it's not just manual labor like you're breaking your brain you have to solve this program by 2:00 p.m. tomorrow and you don't have the solution you know I mean you're like you are not sleeping you're not eating you are just you know so so so very high stress very high high stress jobs so hiking was allowing people why is hiking is extreme stress hiking you like you you go on Hikes you are we like just to give an idea we spend I told you about you know Tundra we spend two weeks on skis like you cannot make a step without ski you fall through the I through the snow snow is totally new you have to be on skis for two weeks straight without making one step without a ski and you are traveling you we we were we were doing uh uh what is it uh in miles I guess you could follow it was like 50 to 60 miles a day okay it was like you're talking about it's like it's like you you just chugging along it's high stress people don't even drive that much so so you no my I would drive drive drive is like 1 hour drive saying most people don't drive that much on a regular B right but yeah so so it's I'm saying it's it's it's a high stress so that stress was allowing you to divert your mind from this stress you understand it's like you said you're just like you're like in a new space you know what I mean it forces you it's physically forces you to refocus and then you're able to come back to your original you know what I mean to your original uh work just because you were refocused you were to ref Focus for for a little bit anyway wow you're doing it in a different way it's not like you're just all in on your mind I mean although you're still using your will power to get you through doing the physical hike but it's you know working out a different part of oneself when they're doing the the skiing or the hiking or whatever it's like but your mind is not on your science project anymore I promise you that m is not on anything else of when we were going uh going on canoes and you know there's a fast fast current and you're just in a canoe and you're just going God knows where you know what I mean it's you're not thinking about your science projects anymore I promise you you think about Sur why that's sounds like amazing though it's no it is amazing it's amazing it's an amazing lesson in life people's lives were shaped there wow people lives were shaped I mean those sh I tell you those sh I thankful to those hikes for for my for what I became but it was it was hell it was hard as God knows what and you can and and you can cutch you know that if you'll be complaining once nobody's going to take you the next time dur any hike not one word of wretching that's a yeah have you done anything like that here in America they don't have it here in America it's too there's no such a thing L to petite over here yeah you're you're going to hiking trail where it's a you could take a blue Trail or Red Trail and uh you know and and camping only in designated areas so you know we met othero but this very seriously so take money so they were paying he was charging he was building them to the top so so uh so the so uh on he knows that laish was instructed by the re to pay him they're going to pay him whatever they need he simply wanted to help them be M what they to said exactly so so when the team of lawyers together in that came for the first time they did not did not have did not seem to come to an agreement the re was suggesting a specific line of pursuing the case and the lawyers were not agreeing and the reab was this very first meeting the reab showed a letter so the lawyers did not want to have this line of work and they felt that that they have a strong case based on other whatever theories legal theories they had and actually when they were walking out of 770 the meeting wasn't 770 when they working out of 770 they stopped by the door and said to to the lawyers you thought that I want you all to do everything the way I think is right it's not the case I want you to do everything the way you think is right but I want but I want you to think what's right what I think is right in other words the rabit did not want them to blindly follow his his at the time of Crisis the third one is going to be writing about the inner turmoil the person is going through right so it is all true the question which one are you writing about that's why I have to so you could come to it with the right so think like so we are so we when I I write a story about myself and then I got used for you every book needs to have a title book to a title now title needs to have two that two requirements of title first of all has to reflect the reality of the book you cannot write a title if I'm writing a book about about life on Mars I cannot call it uh the cow that I swed yesterday right has to be some relation between the fact and what the cow jumped over the moon so but then the title is supposed to be interesting it has to be exciting has to be something that I can that people appreciate so when I write a story about myself has to be saying two things first of all it has to be grounded on facts I cannot call myself uh an opera singer because I cannot sing for life of mine okay I cannot call a book about myself as an opera singer but then on the other hand it has to be excited why cuz if I will call myself if I look at myself and say I'm a nice guy it's nice to be a nice guy but it's not exciting what have you accomplished in your life I've been a nice guy okay and now what so I need to think of something for myself that I know huh what your is that truth second of all has to something that I can appreciate when I look at myself a mirror what I call myself What's the title of my book I need to a write my book b my I need to when I I need to have one word or one sentence how I call myself what am I now the book has to have few parameters first of all in my every book needs to have sequence of events that make sense like point a has to be connected with point B with Point C with Point D like then it has to have a purpose has to have like a culmination of the book all these things have to be making sense enough to manageable for me emotionally so all these things are true but then the question is what is the name of my book and this is what I have a choice to Crea to create I can create my own story and I can write just like the re has been so many different things to so many different people my own forget Fair goes to baseball game and sits there in a box office in in a box seat uh but but my could have so many different stories and so so different titles and it's up to me which story and which title which I will I pick for myself when I look at myself in the mirror what I call myself I can look in the mirror and I survived through anti-Semitism of the US s where she was not permitted to hold certain jobs she she got a PhD she passed all the test and defend her Theses and everything together PhD for 17 years
