health whoever needsa and all is should be blessed with all the good and the kindness that the bestows on us so we want to talk tonight about kind of like a general General topic about what's going on in our lives how we can make our lives better and the main topic that that needs to be focused on is the coming of the Redemption and and in many places that I go and I constantly just talk about the gah and the Redemption and mhia is coming and doesn't matter in which Community or which group it is I always hear the same thing ah yeah yeah yeah we heard about it already we heard about it for thousands of years leave us alone and the reality is that it's true we've been hearing about the coming of the Redemption from the first day the world was created right from the second verse in the Torah it's it says already it's talking about the coming ofia says this is the spirit of mashia so we already know from the day the world was created that Messiah is coming and in many different places that we read and we find so many different sources and points about the coming of the Redemption and be so many years we've been waiting thousands of years we've been waiting so it seems to us okay it's not happening in my lifetime you talk about the word mashiah some people start getting all not comfortable for many different reasons the reality is that if you look at the world with physical eyes you already can see very clearly that there's no other solution or no other a end but for mashiah to come and in many places it's a very touchy subject mashiah sounds very not in not in our lifetime but if you try to go to the mind frame of the Jews 3,300 years ago going in the time machine to MIT and try to think how they were living their life so they were in their slavery and they were human beings they had clothes like we have clothes they had homes they had relationships they had jobs wasn't maybe a different scenario but the reality is that they Liv their life and the same easy no my life is hard I have to work for my living I have to pay a mortgage I have to pay rent I have to educate my kids my kids one kid is doing this one k is doing that this has a health problem that guy is sick so we also have a life is not easy I don't know many people that their life is so easy some people just have a good attitude about it and they say okay that's part of life so I live I overwhelming so sometimes this life can be overwhelming and and the the reality is that each individual doesn't matter who they are the K makes sure that each one in this world has something to deal with and there's a reason for that but the reality is that even in our generation every human being has something to deal with some person doesn't have parasa some person has a relationship problem some people they can't get married the other other person can have children everybody's dealing dealing with something so we also have the same thing we also have hard work and we also have we our life is sometime can be overwhelming and when then they got the message that they're going to be redeemed they were like okay leave us alone we heard about that that in the beginning when mosenu came these ideas but the reality is that we have so many signs that we are in the generation of the Redemption that one needs to be completely not focused on the reality not to see that that even if you're looking it in a physical way you see that the world is there's no physical solution you're looking at the biblical and the mystical part of it there's hundreds and hundreds of sources that show already among them if he's ready to redeem us he has to be a human being he can be a three world so the reality is the mashiah is around us we just don't know who it is or when he's coming or why he's not coming I mean there's a great Wonder because if you go by all the sources with many different prophecies and calculations we already passed the time that Messiah should have come already because we know that there's two dates when mashiah can come one of them is in its time and the D date is this called the same way that a woman gets pregnant she goes to the doctor the doctor looks at the child and he tells her your due date is January 27 I calculate the weeks we know more or less when you got pregnant but 99% of the cases the woman doesn't give birth on the due date sometimes it's a week earlier a week later so the same way the Torah tells us in a clear way there's a due date there's a date where mashia has to come this is ba and then there's another option I'll bring it much everybody that had their ideas that she will win or whatever Hashem says I run the show I decide who's going to get elected but more than that we see something even more amazing because all the odds went that she will win and for whatever reason the the US presidentials like as if it's affecting the entire world which is kind of is but all the odds show that Clinton should win and everybody was seeing of Shalom she wins she she's not good news she's not good news at all and I'm not talking politics right now I'm not getting I don't hold anybody's side I I vote for the kadh not for a human being but if Shalom she would win she wouldn't be good news to us she she would be a channel through her a lot of problems could have happened and again it's the choice of the Kosh not the choice of have been so when you're looking at the the the big question about how did Trump win forget about the fact that it shows us that yes controls the world but more than that that's how I see it and many be a president of the United States if we get to that day he's going to be 70 years old 7 months and seven days he was born on June 14 so he's going to be inaugurated to the president of the United States he's going to be the in the year 5777 and he's going to be 70 years 70 months and seven days I mean that's pretty amazing and a lot of people tell me ah no but nonsense Ah that's not nonsense more good deeds in my life where am I polishing my my and we all can always grow better and the point to take from that is that we're in such a special time we're such a lucky generation I mean in one way you can look at our generation say oh you know this is one of the worst Generations ever with all the Temptations and all the problems and going on but I I see it completely different we're the luckiest generation we're going to be the generation that sees the Redemption can you imagine that I mean it's it's hard to imagine it's hard to imagine that everything that we've been hearing for for thousands of years that you can see it with your eyes I mean just imagine standing in front of the sea when M open the sea can you imagine this this thing going on and we're going to see 10 times more than that it says I'm going to show you even more than that so the point is that we're in such a an auspicious time and we're we're in such a an important time and now the current events that are happening this is just an an analogy to show us that that hasem is actually accepting everything that we do and he loves what we're doing and he's appreciating every little Mitzvah that we do and the point is it RS the time that each and every one of us has to understand wait a minute I'm I'm here an MVP I'm a valuable player here I don't have to have a twoot long beard I don't have to be in SHO of the fire department of Israel he was went to some convention in Australia and he was he was you know he wanted to pray in a minan on Shabbat and he was in some little town somewhere in Australia and he couldn't find a minan Saturday morning he was determined he's like I'm going to find a minan I'm going to pray the Shabbat prayer with inan and he was walking around asking is there a synagogue here is there a synagogue here looked at him like what are you talking about and then he stopped and he remembered that his son once was traveling somewhere and his son told him you know everywhere that I went there was a aabad center and everywhere I went to you know there's a joke wherever you find Coca-Cola you can find kabad so he said to the kadh he closed his eyes and he said to the I want one is dealing with something why because the wants us to to to to wake up to wake up and and demand the G and to demand our Redemption and to to to move something that's why is putting pressure on everybody CU if everything would be good then who would move now when people start having a lot of pressure on them and each person his problems is bigger than everybody else's I mean I get about, 1500 emails every day that's an average day of an email and all the emails are just complain this is not working out I don't have I can't get pregnant my husband is this but I didn't get once an email telling me hi thank you I just wanted to report everything's okay everything is good and I wanted to say it out loud so I see from that that everybody's dealing with something some people are just dealing with with it in a much more positive way and some people don't want to deal with it and they see that like they feel that their life is caving on them the reality is the who is pressing press pressing everybody because when you under pressure that's when you start functioning better and wants us to scream he wants us to demand the Gan he doesn't want it just to bring it to us because we were because we deserve it and what we need to take from that is that each and every one of us has an important role in the world and the point is to realize what this point what this role and to and to pursue it and to do it and the most important thing is the who is expecting from us to be United because if we're not United then it says when there is a separation in the realm below then there's a separation in the real realm above and our major task is to to to make sure that we're all United doesn't matter on purpose the made us all different in different groups and different and even how you pronounce the words there's a reason for that unfortunately in our generation and probably in previous generation too everybody fights with each other I'm more right than you my Rabbi is more smarter than your Rabbi this is just the trying to make everybody fight the reality is theh on purpose created us all different in different types of groups so we can overpower and overcome this childish fight and say we're all we're all the same we're all serving the same God we're all learning the same Torah so you say oi and I say o doesn't matter so you dress like this I dress like that well the same so the the the the basics of it is just of being in in in unity and if each individual works on himself in his surrounding how he he gets you United with everybody that in itself already is a big step of of of the G and you kind of start seeing it in Still Still many places you don't see it like for example I live inat and I I I call it the city of the G why because all the shoes are completely mixed there's no one Sho I mean there is the the B Sho there's theab but everybody's mixed together there's no one group in one sh every Sho in the entrance has all the you choose whatever of hem we're all equal doesn't care if you have a white dress shirt a blue shirt it doesn't matter looks at us completely the same the point is that we have to actually get it into action and to to apply it to understand that we're all equal there's no difference between me and you you and me we're all the same we're all as good the same way in the eyes of if I learn 5 hours a day to and you learn three hours doesn't mean that my hours are better than your three hours and that's the problem where a lot of people fail because they think oh I'm so religious I'm better than you you're not better than me and I'm not better than you I serve AEM like this you serve hem like that as long as you serve hem with with your heart with all your heart then we're equal the point is to really apply it and to see each other the same way just now other the day a beautiful thing happened I have a a school for women inat for women who become B cha and we have a beautiful Center inat where a lot of women come especially from abroad to short visits for a week for 10 days and we have like a I call it a boot camp they come for seven days and morning toight they get injected with spirituality so we have a lot of events and seminars and shabbatons but since we have rooms in our building so you know we need to fund the organization so when rooms are free we rent them out so two couples came on Friday and weren't observing Jews and I happened to be everything was busy we had a big event going on I was the one standing there and I was okay I I'll accept them and I was like accepting them with open arms Hi how are you are you from and and they like looked at me like what this guys like giving us a time of day like they thought I'm going to like sh them off or like look at them they asked me where they can find a restaurant and I told them listen I don't go out Friday night I can't really give you advice but maybe if you go here you go there they were shocked that I'm like talking to them like there there like there's no difference and and somebody told me like what you went to like take the guest I told them you don't know what a Kem it was because they probably saw this guy with a long beard and a black suit that they were probably ready to get like oh you're driving on shabas you know that's probably what they were expecting to get and here I'm like talking to them and I'm asking them questions and they were completely shocked the person who told me what you went to accept them yeah you can't even imagine what the I just was able to do because in my eyes I don't see them different than me so you know and that's this is the problem of many people in our generation that they people you know they do two more than you I think they're they're that that they're much better than you and it's very sad to see that because you know somebody once asked me what is the best Mitzvah to do or on the other hand what is the worst AA to do and I said there's no such a thing because you know the weight the volume of a Mitzvah is completely different between everyone I mean my volume let's call it of when I put F in is completely different than another Je putting F in because maybe for me it's the easiest thing in the world to put fing on and I just put it like that at 5: in the morning and for another person it's a struggle so when he puts F in it's like me putting a thousand times F in cuz for me it's easy for him it's a struggle so there's no weight one can say oh my Mitzvah is better than your Mitzvah because you know it depends on how much Toil and how much effort how much hard it was for me to do the Mitzvah so it doesn't mean that if I look like this and I'm better than another person doesn't mean anything I don't know where that person is the m tells us don't judge another person you don't know who where he's where he's standing where he went through point to take from that and this is one of the hardest things and this is the biggest n of our generation is to tolerate another person that you don't know or that you don't like because his opinions are a little bit different than yours and hasem created it on purpose that we have different opinions it says the same way that their faces are different their opinions are different created on purpose to see if I can tolerate another person that is completely different for me that thinks a little bit different has a different opinion in politics a different hasf and most people they don't they they fail the test because they don't like another person person cuz he's dressed different or cuz he says something different the important part of it is to see that we are so close to the end and it's very obvious what the Kos wants from us forless to say that he wants us to be much stronger in ourem but he's on purpose putting us in all these situations because if we were able to do a campaign and I still don't understand why they didn't do such a campaign thank now all the greatest rabbis of all the communities and all the yeshivas and all the the cities put them all together in one room let's say we find a thousand of them and let's do a campaign now we're making a day or a week of unity and we're all going to come to each one to our congregation and we're going to make the campaign we're making a whole week of unconditional is we're all going to switch synagogues we're going spread them around you go to that synagogue he goes to this synagogue for a whole week we making a campaign of is M will be here in 3 seconds the point is that we weren weren't able to do and many other Generations that we unfortunately have a lot of that we don't like another Jew for no reason and and and you know we know that the second temple was destroyed from C the first temple was destroyed from idol worship Bloodshed and and and idol worship forbidden relations and bloodshed since the sin was revealed and the length of the Exile was revealed when they left they knew they're going out for 70 years they knew the prophet told them you're coming back in 70 years the second way the mikdash was destroyed because of now since the sin is not revealed then the length of the Exile is not revealed and and this is our major problem yes we have our problems that we need to overpower but our major problem as a nation is this that I hate another person for no reason because it's a little bit different than me or he's behaving a little bit different he's not pronouncing the words like I pronounce how I pronounce the word and this is exactly the the test of Our Generation that we have to have complete acceptance of any other Jew doesn't matter who he is who's affiliate with it how observant he is if he is observant non observant has nothing to do with it and you see that we're getting better and better in that you see that the tolerance between Jews is getting much much better so what we need to take from that since we are standing in such an supicious time and in such a a a important time in in our nation is that each and everyone has to see what's going on analyze it the right way and say wait a minute first of all I'm a very very important player in this situation my mitv count and my victory over my it counts and me tolerating my number even though I really don't feel like it right now it counts it all counts a for my own personal gain then miles and that's how it is I mean Hashem created this beautiful nature not for us to to to ignore it is to to look at the entire Cosmic structure and understand what am I and what is above me and how my actions affect the world so one little act one little thing that I do it might seem in my mind I mean so many times you you about to do something and tells you oh come on why are you pretending not too long ago I was in a lecture and this young man tells me listen you know you keep telling me Shabbat Shabbat I'm not even observant I don't even do anything what's the point why are you telling me to do K because I keept telling them you know I mean when I became religious for 3 years I didn't really keep Shabbat but I did k and I he still did all sorts of little things and and this young man told me why are you telling me even to do something I don't really obser I'm not observing the Shabbat I said what does one have to do with the other so they can't observe 100% then do 2% what's the connection when I became observing I couldn't become sh Shabbat right away so I always tell in my my personal story how I used to I used to be a very heavy smoker so somebody told me you're not allowed to extinguish fire on Shabbat so don't turn out your cigarette and if you smoke 60 cigarettes a day so you have 60 less sins now when he told me that I thought he's completely clonic but then when I started to keep sh I was like hey you know what I can't turn the lights on and off on shamat so I used to unscrew the light bulb in the fridge so 50 times I open and close the fridge so I have 50 less I'm damage control I'm minimizing it so this individual told me why are you telling me I I I I I don't even observe Shabbat I told him it's okay I used to do Kush and I used to eat that Shabbat and go out to watch a movie so but for the moment that I did the Mitzvah I was observing Shabbat and Shabbat is counted according to Al every second is is You observe Shabbat I mean there's a question in Al if a person on Yip one second somehow he fell on the ground and happened to be that his mouth opened up and a crumb fell into his mouth and oh by mistake he swallowed the the crumb so he broke the fast should he continue the fast or should he stop of course he has to continue cuz only for one second he broke the fast and then he has to continue and the and you learn from that for Shabbat so if a person did Shabbat for one second so one second he stopped and then he has to continue my wife's best friend used to come to us to shabbat all the time we try to really like car her and one morning she she spend Shabbat with us and one morning when I wake up I see her packing her bags and she is leaving and I tell her where are you going and she told me no I I I somebody sent me a text and I checked it so I already you know I already broke shabat so I'm going home she said no no no don't don't go home you you just did it for for 3 seconds that's it now continue don't stop now so the point is that that young man when I told him to K shab to something and he's like but I'm another observant what is my little Mitzvah worth I told me it's worth a lot because is is focusing right now on what you're doing not on what you don't do is focusing always on what you do so the the the the to take from that is that it's it's everything that we do is not what I don't do if I'm going to go through a whole list what I don't do I'm not going to go so far with that but the point is to see okay I'm I am doing a lot so what I'm doing is worth a lot and if I'm holding here today then tomorrow I'll step it out one one step a little bit more and a little bit more and again if I'm looking at it in a very personal level then I'm affecting myself I'm making myself a better person by default I'm affecting my family and my loved ones and it starts Rippling into my community into my town and into my nation so really what you want to take from tonight is how am I changing my life tonight not in 3 weeks when it's easier when when I have less stress now let me finish a few projects then I'll start the point is how am I changing every day and that's why I started the lecture by saying that we there's nothing changeed between us and the generation in Egypt because it's they weren't in necessarily yeah the story was they were in Egypt but they were in a state of limitation and our sages say every generation a person needs to see himself like as if he went out of Egypt so again comes batan and says not every day a person needs to see that I have to be leave my limitation that I was in yesterday and today being a higher level that what I wasn't able to do yesterday today I have to achieve And if every day I live my life that I go out of my state of limitation then that's how I bring on myself the the the physical Redemption with the the acts of each and every one of us we see I could I could easily say a month ago it wasn't like that now I can actually say I thoughts and my actions and my speech and every little thing that I do is is is is huge in the spiritual world you can take from tonight a little bit of of a a a boost that tomorrow tonight already and tomorrow and the next day you constantly going up one step and another step and another step and this will hasten the Redemption this will bring the Redemption much much faster and only faster also smoother and nicer and we should marry to see it with our own eyes to see the coming of the G to see the coming of the BET mikdash and rejoining and rejoicing all together it should happen very
