And now, ladies and gentlemen, please turn your attention to the field for a few words from the CEO of Mint Media. >> At the time of publishing this video, we've received thousands and thousands of views of the Super Saiyan video. Hundreds of comments. A lot of people are [music] curious. What goes into a video like this? How's it done? What's the process? What does it cost? [music] And really, what we'd like to share with is some of those answers. And most importantly, thank each and every one of you, our fans, our viewers, for taking such an interest in this project. and so many of our projects. >> We're here with the senior production manager at Mint Media. Rumor has it that you wrote the original script for this project. Did the editing team stick to your outline? >> Did they stick to my script? Of course not. And I'm happy they didn't because I was told Mr. Schindler, you have 2 minutes. You got to write a 2-minute script. Nothing more. You have to keep it to 2 minutes because AI takes a really long time. every single every single millisecond. It's it it's hundreds and hundreds of prompts. I had a conversation with Jeremy Lewis who was the primary editor on this video and then he got lost in it probably for [music] a few weeks and then this emerged which was about a 6-minute video. All I needed was to give them a certain amount of structure [music] and the and the and the basic storyline with some ideas and they obviously took it to a whole new level. Amazing job [music] guys. You guys are amazing and I'm so privileged to work with you every single day. There are hundreds of AI videos being shared every day. What was it about this one that made it really resonate with viewers? >> I think the answer to that is that we tried to make a great story using AI, not because it's AI. We're trying to tell a good story. We're trying to tell funny jokes. And we felt that using AI was the best way to Where did he get that tie? >> The agenda was not necessarily let's make an AI video. The agenda was let's make a really entertaining video and only AI is going to help us get there. What makes an AI video good and not gimmicky is the story, is the planning. It's just a video. It's just a shot like any other shot. But using the shots correctly and scripting the shots correctly gives you unlimited creativity. And that's something that we're very excited to be a part of. >> We've always been limited by reality. We're not renting a football field. [music] We're not renting a massive blimp blowing it up over the Super Bowl. But with AI, anything is possible. >> What kind of difficulties are there in making such a highlevel AI video? If I could just summarize [music] the entire challenge of working on this video in two words, it's Leapa's Pis. AI sees a person with [music] Pis on their face and they think, "Oh, he must have a ponytail. He must have dreadlocks." And that would have distracted people from the video. Every single shot in this video had dozens of dozens of dozens of prompt till we got it right. AI is getting really, really good, but it's the human attention to detail that takes an AI video and makes it into a really good story. >> [cheering] >> But someone had to man the field. What would you say are some of the pivotal moments that really make this video memorable? >> If I had to limit it to one was the two guys on the couch who look at each other's like, "Oh, Super Saiyan." Is that that all night learning thing and they take a swig of their beer? I take that one. >> There was always an element of mystery in this film. It was always like, "What is coming next?" Each moment was more shocking than the previous one. That was a big element that people really enjoyed. It was constantly something more outrageous than the moment before. >> I'm a big music guy and I really loved working on the marching band remix of the Kati song Mati and I just love the marching band feel to it and it was just fun getting to put that whole sequence together. You're making a sequel to a music video so I really wanted there to be some sort of musical [music] ending to the whole thing. That was a lot of fun. A lot of fun. What is something important that you want to tell the folks back home about making such a video? >> A video like this takes so much attention to detail. Every shot that we used a famous person, we really wanted to get their voice behind it. >> A detail like that is so important cuz it make the difference between someone seeing it. >> That's weird. I'm hearing the wrong voice and the wrong face or someone seeing it like, "Oh, that's so cool. Joey Nukem's in the video." And he sounds like Joey Nukem. Spoiler alert, Joey Nukem was actually his real voice. >> I'll tell you why Joe Nukem's voice is real cuz the sync was good and the wine was good, right? like what's going on here? What's he doing here? Problem was AI couldn't get Joey's famous hair. So for that, Joey sent us a a bunch of voice notes in different variations. >> What's he doing here? >> Can I be blunt? One of the burning questions from viewers is definitely how expensive is it to make a crazy AI video like this one? >> There's definitely a big expense on all the AI tools that were used, but the snack the snack it takes to get through such a production. You could just look at our super stop bills. Something about AI gets you really hungry. >> I'm incredibly incredibly optimistic for the future of where this technology is going to take us and the stories that we can tell. To be a part of this evolution in video is amazing. It's unbelievable. >> I'm going to be making AI videos for the rest of my life. I can, you know, I can take some punishment.
