I have mentioned a few weeks ago,
specifically right before
a certain
certain remedy
that from
till the last night of Kanuka one
doesn't complain about anything
then says is that that individual will
see a big miracle in their life. So you
have to not complain from
which is three weeks ago by the way uh
till the last night of Kanuka. And if
the person not only doesn't complain,
thanks Hashem for everything all
appreciation and that person is
guaranteed to see a miracle in their
life very fast after. Now I can testify
that it works. I do it every year and
the same way that every year that I do
it the second that you are focused on
doing something
that's when it becomes hard that's when
the says what what what is he doing and
then comes all the challenges if you
leave the sleeping dogs by themselves
they don't bother you but the second
that you focus on something Of course,
I'm talking about in your spiritual
growth, not on a nonsense. You make a
change in your mind and you focusing on
some act in your spiritual growth.
It doesn't matter right now. I'm going
to start putting fillin on or I'm going
to start doing this mitzvah. Whatever
you take on yourself, then right away
all the forces will come to make it hard
for you to do that mitzvah.
On a normal day it would even bother the
the yet around you but just because in
your mind you're like I want to start
doing this then starts coming all the
struggles.
I know many many people that on their
beginning of their path which I was one
of them when you don't focus on
something it's easy to do. The second
that I have decided to stop eating
mixing meat and dairy then all the
challenges came up until then didn't
even bother me.
That's what I mean by my spiritual
growth that I take on myself a certain
decision. Okay, I'm going to do this
from now on. I'm going to start praying.
I'm going to start learning. It doesn't
matter what. I'm going to stop lying,
stop cheating.
But the second that you put that as a
target in Hebrew it's called
that I take all my energy and I focus it
onto one act that I want to do. Then
right in that moment all the opposition
will wake up from all directions.
Of course approved by the master of the
universe. There's a certification at the
bottom. Hashem says, "I I approve the
challenge because that's really the
gauge what you worth. You want a
miracle.
Let's see what you can do." So, Hashem
is not a file. So, he has many ways of
making you challenged. And it doesn't
matter where it's coming from. You can
call it however you want.
Woke up the It doesn't matter. It's
against you. That's it.
So I can tell you that the second that I
focus on something comes all the
distractions. I see it in my life very
clearly.
And I gave this example many many times
in the past that when I was in the
military and some other ex soldiers will
understand what I'm saying. When you're
in the shooting range, then you're not
like just sitting there quietly and
aiming and there's they create a lot of
distractions around you. And when while
you're trying to shoot then the they hit
you on the head and hit you on the legs
that you you you distract you're not on
the you can't focus. Hey, stop. What do
you mean stop? You're in the middle of a
war.
I had a a commander when I was in the in
the army that he would uh he had like
this little long long long stick with a
feather
and uh I was I I was a sniper in the
army. You go to a a certain core certain
training then you go back to your unit.
So one of the commanders in the in that
course we used to of course practice
shooting. He had a long long long stick
with a feather and he would just walk
around and while you and he would
suddenly like tickle your ear like
suddenly you shoot the the ceiling. Are
you crazy? YOU SHOT THE CEILING. YOU
JUST KILLED SOMEBODY ELSE.
So in the army training they create a
lot of distractions that you let's see
if you know how to focus with a lot of
noise in the background and when your
body is being moved or
so when you really want to focus on
something starts all the background
noises
a certain mitzvah a certain good deed a
certain sin that you want to stop. It
doesn't matter even in what level you're
talking the second that you put all your
focus I'm going to start and you know
what just for the sake of the example it
will work in the same way
you can eat whatever you want the second
you're saying oh I got to lose weight
then the appetite starts then the
cravings start the whole last half a
year didn't crave nothing the second
that I'm thinking of oh I need to get in
shape then
you get what I'm
But why am I saying that? Because the
second
came and I already said okay I I see I
see how it worked in previous years.
When I come and teach you something it's
after I did a test drive.
So sure enough you want something bad
then you know like uh you tease a animal
with some food and you make it come
close to you. So I can tell you on my
skin from
Hashem has been very colorful
challenging me to see to what level he
can push me then I won't complain
because the advice that
gives is that if you don't complain for
a whole month have you ever tried to do
that? I can tell you for a fact,
I know that at least 50% of the ones who
heard me saying that over and over in
the last month, not to complain, failed
miserably without even putting too much
effort. Another 30% failed miserably but
didn't give up so fast.
And another 20 are still struggling with
it.
Now the reality is that you cannot not
complain the whole month.
You just need to be very aware
how it your mind drifts to that point
that you are going to complain.
And I'll give you a few examples. Don't
worry, I'm not going to leave you
hanging. I'm I'm the best living
example. Let wait till I tell you what
I've been through in the last 3 weeks.
Anything that can go wrong that will
cause a person to complain went wrong.
And it's just funny to me. It's just
actually funny to see it happening.
The second came right away. All the
smacks to the flesh. Now naturally
when something happens you know even in
a very small level you don't even notice
that you complain even if you saying ah
that's complained technically right
or some mosquitoes
around you just did three times that's
it that's complaining my friend instead
of saying thank you Hashem It's
so the point is not to uh be
disappointed when you fail five times a
day cuz you will complain. Hashem will
subpoena to you situations for you to
complain. The point is to catch yourself
while you're complaining and stop relay
iss where where are you holding pause
everything
and then on the spot do your chva that
you don't complain and you see what were
you about to complain about
and I'll give you you know a very random
example which happened a few days ago
which is you know happens to you 50
times a day I was in a rush
to go out somewhere. People are waiting.
The second that I need to be somewhere
on time and I'm rushing, car keys
disappear. Where's my phone?
So with that comes in the beginning
aggravation
and very quickly comes LIKE WHERE'S MY
PHONE? I JUST HAD IT HERE A SECOND AGO.
And then you know the knock on the door
I'm coming
and you can't find your keys and THE
KNOCK I'M COMING. I said
right.
Sounds very familiar. So I'm I'm like
you. It's not that I'm observing other
people and getting my material. I'm the
material.
So it's exactly the same thing. the
other day. I'm rushing and rushing and
and the phone is I didn't lose the
phone, but the phone is the phone is
ringing like
die. You know, you want to go crazy
sometimes and I sometimes walk with
three phones and this and you know as
I'm going down. So, I'm holding a bag
here and this is here and the cup of
coffee like that and where's the keys?
Where's the keys? And now I can't put
everything down. So, I have to put
everything. You have to see that to be
entertained. And as all this is, the
phone is ringing and my to
in in my to
can you imagine this situation and then
of course they trip on something. My kid
left some toy on the floor.
Maybe 20 opportunities to get upset.
Do do you do you understand where I'm
going with this? First of all, you all
relate. We're all in the same place.
And I gave you the short version of this
minor situation.
I'm telling you, I'm not just here to
make you laugh. That's how it looked.
I'm in a rush to go out.
And by the way, when I'm pushing the
first meeting, all the readings after
that get dam pushed.
And Davka in the most
in the most craziest moment. Then
another phone call comes in with another
disaster. What?
Give me 20 minutes. I'll be in the car.
So, it's like a half an hour of juggling
a million things at the same time. And
by the way, as all this is happening,
things fall.
You know what I mean? Things drip.
The cup of coffee in my hand. Drips. The
whole floor is full of coffee. Oh no.
I'm going to clean this now. Honey,
don't go. You can leave. But I have half
a cup of coffee. I wanted a full cup of
coffee.
I should sometimes have a crew of
cameras going around me. I think it's
going to be very entertaining to many
people.
But
as this is happening and I be met giving
you the short version of the the scene
just imagine me going out pressure I'm
late every second something else delays
me and by the way as I'm running out and
all my hands are like this not because
my my muscles are cramped because I'm
holding 50 things at the same time and
I'm brushing and as I'm going out OF THE
HOUSE RABBI NEVER. OH, NO. NO, NO, not
now. Not now. I CAME ALL THE WAY FROM
FRANCE. WE'RE HUGGING AND AND I'm like,
I'm so late, you and now's the time for
me to tell the person like, no, I'm
really late. I can't really talk to you.
Bye.
No, no, I'll walk with you. I said, walk
with me. I'm driving to you alive now.
So, that's a normal day of my life.
that everything that can possibly drive
you nuts
happens.
And that's why this remedy is that you
you're not going to be able to go a
whole month without complaining.
No chance.
Unless you live on some island cushioned
from all directions. Everything just
falls from the heavens to your mouth.
But if you live in a normal life, how
can you go through a whole day without
meeting situations? And I'm not talking
about the type of complaining that
you're sitting in your in your living
room and you're complaining about
nonsense.
And I'm not talking about big things
because the big things it's very easy to
say, okay, I'm going to one month not
complain that I'm single or one month
I'm not going to complain that my my
financial situation is not good. That's
also not so easy if you really pay
attention because really why would you
complain?
You know that this remedy should go the
whole year. Why would you complain? Why
would you bring yourself ever to a place
to complain about anything?
I'll be rude and tell you I think it's
borderline heresy to complain. Complain.
God of his way to cater your needs and
you complain.
I think that if you would now go out of
your way to create an environment that
will be very comfortable to a guest in
your house, food,
everything that that person needs, and
you run after the person and clean and
clean the sheets every day, everything's
okay.
And imagine how that person complains,
"No, no, you know, the egg was a little
bit cold. Excuse me.
And why is the floor so dirty? What do
you mean dirty? I just cleaned it three
times. You get upset when somebody
doesn't show any appreciation.
No. How do you think Hashem feels all
day long? You're complaining like a yak.
So it's very hard to go through a whole
day or whole week or a whole period
without complaining.
But I just gave you a specific example
of type of complaining. Then little
things just don't work out and you lose
your temper and you lose your patience.
Needless to say, not seeing the and
everything instead of freaking out.
Where's the keys? Then just say, okay,
Hashem obviously wants me to be delayed
going out of the house,
right? Cuz I can't find the keys. It's
plus it's one plus one. It's not be
don't have to be a genius here. I can't
find the keys. Hashem doesn't want me to
leave right now the house. He wants me
to look for two minutes. Must be that in
the great system what's called
that millions and millions and millions
of details need to work perfectly in
conjunction with the others. So
sometimes you need to be delayed for 37
seconds because it doesn't fit well in
the
because if I wouldn't not find the keys
in that specific moment which means I
would go right that moment out of the
house which means that I would go
straight into the car and drive so that
person that came ALL THE WAY FROM FRANCE
wouldn't meet me.
Do you understand sometimes how it
works? because I will drive off.
So, Hashem makes me not find the keys
for 30 seconds. So, I'll be delayed so I
can bump into somebody.
Now, whether I would be delayed for the
other stage by traffic or not, it's
irrelevant. Hashem will decide how the
delay will come. But if I need to be in
a certain moment precise on the second
then and I'm 30 seconds earlier I need
to be delayed
somehow
and all it takes is a little angel to
come to move the keys here. So 30
seconds I'm like
that's it. I was delayed now. Now now
I'm ready to go out.
Now all this for me now you have to see
how amazing dash works here for that
person if I would leave that's it they
came here for a few hours not that it
was the planned meeting they just passed
by and you it's like how how what are
the odds
what are the odds I was in a wedding a
few days ago this guy comes to me he
says you know many times I was invat and
I tried to find you and you've now come
now you come to me said that's how it
works
So this scenario is for to see how fast
I lose my temper
by not finding the keys. By now
everything is like it's like this. I'm
carrying everything. Now this guy is now
telling me
by the way just so you know for the
record every time I'm late it's because
somebody said Rabbi
okay no no I'm tell there's no other way
and that's the reason
a lot of people tell me why were you
late because three people in the street
said Rabbi Nava what are we gonna do
walk with ear muffs like this
no offense I would wish to walk in the
streets
transparent
sometimes to walk from here to here half
an hour all it takes is a few rabbias
no
so for me that is Hashem stretching to
see let's see when you're going to lose
your patience and who is he going to
come out on
and that's the challenge
not to lose okay I complained is to be
aware where the test is coming. So you
it will trigger a reaction from you
and when it triggers a reaction from you
that's when you lost the challenge
unless the the what it triggered was
actually something positive.
Now try, you have to try it instead of
in the moment where anger arouses
because of a situation, try to stop it
right there and then let whatever came
up come up in something in a different
way.
Not anger. Now I gave you a very small
uh scenario that literally happened to
me a few days ago and I didn't tell you
90% of the other details that came all
with it.
You know, the second that in the month
of Kislave came two weeks I can't move
my back. Oh, you can't even imagine what
pain I have. All day long I'm like
and I'm laughing because Davka now in
Gizle. Thank you. Thank you.
You have back pains all day long. You
can play. Oh
sh
change the to oh thank you thank you. Oh
now I feel that I'm alive.
So Hashem I'm telling you in the last
three weeks everything that can happen
goes wrong went wrong. Two weeks I I can
barely move. Last few days I'm finally
getting some relief. I can walk a little
bit.
Two weeks ago my front tooth broke. I
gave a bite into a sandwich. The whole
tooth broke. cracked all the way pain
and of course when you need the dentist
suddenly he's not available.
So Hashem has lined up to me a series of
reasons to complain the last three weeks
and it's the the in the what's amusing
here is to see it. If you're not on top
of it,
you don't see what's going on. So you
get upset or you get angry and you
complain. And by the way, feeling
feelings of disappointment that you want
to give up, that's kind of complaining.
The point what Hashem is trying for you
to see is the darkness that you are in.
If you would be able to have somebody
following you with a camera
and then you would be able to rewind in
certain situations to see how you
reacted, you would be embarrassed and
shocked to see how you look. It's just
that you never saw that.
Imagine now you see a video of yourself
from an angle how you eat
like this. story for the in the dash for
the but that's that's how sometimes
people look
do you look at yourself you see how you
look when you eat
I mean no offense
but I'm just saying mo most people don't
know how they look and I'm not going to
do other imit putting fingers all sorts
of places
have somebody film you how you look when
you go like this
Now imagine Hashem all day long looking
and either laughing or crying.
But take a stop for a second. Try to
bring yourself to the awareness how you
look because you look at people all day
long and criticize the entire world.
Look how he looks. Look how he eats.
Look how he's dressed. Look at this.
That's most people I know not very few
people judging everything like looking
at everybody in a positive way not
looking at the person like I'm better
it takes a it takes a very refined
person to look at any individual in
front of them see them eye to eye
doesn't matter who you are doesn't
matter if you're successful you're not
successful
that takes a lot of work of humility of
bringing yourself to a place of anava
which is really what what we need to
focus on.
But most people they don't even notice
how they look, how they behave. I mean
the the the
basic situation and example that that
needs to come to awareness is between a
husband and wife.
You know, you live your life a certain
way whatever amount of years and then
you just join with this person.
That person brings their habits. you
bring your habits. Now those habits
collide
and uh a lot of marriage problems is
because the each individual doesn't look
at themselves, they look at the other.
Why did you leave the dishes in the
sink? Why did you leave the clothes on
the floor? Why are you doing this and
that? Very few in their marriage look in
the mirror and say, "Ooh, ooh, I left
the floor dirty. Ooh, I I need to clean
the shower."
Most people in marriages don't look at
their faults. They look at the spouse
fault and complain all day long. I can't
stand it already.
Now look at yourself.
She's doing the same thing, too.
You getting upset from the under on the
floor. She's getting upset from the
dishes in the in the sink.
You're no different.
So that's where you can practice first
uh e this looking at yourself.
Most people don't look at themselves.
And the reason I'm saying that yeah I
hope you follow every word because
it all brings you to the same everything
funnels to the same place.
The end of the the class you'll put all
the dots together.
Hashem brings you into a situation
and he's pushing all your buttons. By
the way, you can blame the
you can listen to the people who said to
you, "Oh, uh, you know, you did this, so
now that is happening to you.
You know these annoying people. What are
you know, the engineer of the heavenly
court? I did this, you did that, now
this is happening to me."
By the way, anybody tells you that
nonsense, you don't have to take that as
any reference.
Anyone can know why something is
happening to blame. Oh, you said this,
so you because that this happens to this
and and that's most people by the way in
what's going on in their mind.
Delete that completely.
You don't know why things happen. And if
you would know, then
you wouldn't be sitting in this class or
watching a video on YouTube if you're in
the level of knowing these things. But
we don't know. I can assume I can maybe
reverse engineer and try to figure out
why something happened. But I know why
something happened. But in my beginning
on my path, people will tell me
something would go wrong. Oh, it's
because I mean it's because whether you
have a book that says this happened,
it's because of that.
No, it's because what Hashem wanted to
happen, that's what happened.
It's not that you I mean you control,
but if Hashem wants something to happen,
it's not because you did something. It's
a chain reaction
in some situations. Yes. I mean, one
needs to understand
you don't get punished by God. Hashem
doesn't stand in the heavens with a
notebook and says, "WHAT?
HE DIDN'T SAY I'm in."
That doesn't work like that. That's not
how the system works. It's not that some
sniper sits in Ganed and says, "I'm
waiting for you to say
you do a negative act that God, the
creator of the world, the designer of
the program, told you don't do this act
because it will create a s a short
circuit in the system."
That's it. You didn't listen to the
warning.
Then you created a problem. So what
punishes you is your own act,
not God.
God engineered a system in the world.
And for whatever reason, he created a
certain substance, fire.
Have you ever touched cold fire?
No.
Have you ever touched fire that is
lukewarm?
No. The fire starts at a minimum
temperature and that minimum temperature
will burn anything that touches it.
Right? Can you change that? Can we talk
to Albert Einstein and see maybe some
physics we can change the heat of the
fire?
You can control the fire with more air,
with more oxygen, whatever. It will make
the fire more intense. You can make it
stronger which will eventually will
raise the temperature. You can play with
it a little bit, but you have no control
over the fire. You cannot make it that
fire now is liquid.
Or you cannot make it that the fire now
is cold. You can do that with water.
Water can be warm. Water can be cold.
Who who set up all these rules?
The big bang.
NASA. No. Hashem created everything with
precise rules.
Everything is fed from four spiritual
elements. Everything has three three
aspects of its existence.
I mean everything everything is created
here with rules. You cannot change these
rules.
Sometimes God himself bends the rules
but never changes the rules.
When God do miracles, he doesn't change
rules. He uses what he created in a
different form.
All the miracles in history when God
split the sea, nothing changed in the
rules of physics to a point that if even
today scientists are saying, "Yeah,
there was very strong winds and currents
and it made sense that it made a wall
from the water."
No, Hashem to took whatever he existed
in the world and he just put a miracle
and made the world understand. He didn't
make this the the the liquid change. He
didn't change something in the All the
miracles that Hashem does are what's
called
they're addressed with the rules of
nature.
What Hashem does sometimes if he does it
he doesn't break the rules he bends the
rules that's a miracle that water stand
oh that fire doesn't burn or consumes
now the best example of course is with
Abrao thrown into the fire and the fire
doesn't even burn him but I'm sure it
happened to you once or twice that you
did touch fire nothing happened
went through the fire you touched
something extreme extremely warm. But if
it didn't happen to you, it happened to
me that I was like, "Ah, I I didn't even
feel the fire."
So if Hashem wants to do a miracle, make
the fire not hurt you, you will be
untouchable.
That miracle happened to many, many of
our sages in the last few thousands of
years. The fire didn't affect them.
Water didn't affect them.
They just were able to to survive.
So I told you with Abraham thrown into
the kan into the fire look at Yona fell
into the water three days he's under the
water
whether he had a clinical death or not
it's irrelevant he was 300 days under
the water and then goes out so the water
didn't affect him the air didn't affect
so Hashem makes rules and he doesn't
breaks them
he bends them sometimes and it's not
even bending the rules. It's just
setting them up in a little bit of a
different order. But the rules cannot be
broken.
Therefore, you you you cannot break
these rules.
Same thing. You have to follow the
rules. So the creator of the world tells
you if you put your hand in fire, you
will be burnt, right? If you put your
finger into the electricity socket, you
will be electrocuted.
And if you see a huge machine or a big
saw, you know, like a carpenter, if you
put your hand in there, you won't have a
hand.
You don't need much warnings with that,
right?
You need one warning. Okay, I'm not
going to put my hand in there because
you see the danger and you understand
the result, what's going to happen. So,
Hashem took a book of rules. It's called
the Torah. and all the rules,
the manual of the entire world is in
that book
telling you, don't mix meat and dairy.
Not because I'm here to annoy you or to
make you go on a diet. The root of each
food comes from a different place from
the spir. And when you will mix them,
you will cause a problem like a short
circuit here in the world below which
will affect the world above who it would
affect you.
So I now may had a a cheeseburger.
I I I and let's say something happens
then who can I blame the cheeseburger?
I can only blame myself cuz I was warned
and I didn't listen.
So I brought on myself the reaction.
You can call it a punishment.
It's more clearer to call it a reaction
to your action.
That's it. Walk down the street now and
smile to a person.
99% of the situation, the reaction of
your action will be a smile back. Hey.
Hey.
Try it. It works. Go in the street and
just wave to somebody. Hey, how are you?
Most likely they'll be like, "Hey, I'm
good. You
now if you want go trying to do this in
Israel, it won't work so well.
Hey, how are you? Shut it up."
So, so but you get a reaction at least.
Hey, how are you?
But the
the fact is you will get the more or
less the same reaction of your type of
action. You walk into a room all angry,
that's the type of reaction you'll pull
to you. Because if I walk into a room
like a storm and I'm angry, nobody will
come and be like, "Hi,
how are you? Can I massage your feet?
You need to I see you need to relax. You
come in angry, the the the the the
reaction will be in the same tone.
You walk into the house, why is the
house a mess? You're not going to be
like, "Sorry, honey. I was I I was so
busy." You'll be like, "YOU KNOW HOW
HARD I WORKED ALL DAY." THEN that's
going to be the level the tone here.
Now, let's take it to the extreme. Walk
down the street and slap somebody in the
face. Let's see what reaction you get
there.
Now, if that person is weaker than you
or smaller in size, the reaction will be
of course fear of you or shock. But do
it to somebody twice your size. Let's
see if you can handle the reaction.
You most likely won't be able to handle
the reaction. And there will be a
reaction.
So if you are willing to take chance of
how the other side will react, go ahead,
be reckless, be responsible.
But if you are aware that your action
will bounce off what you are aiming at
and will bounce back at you.
You address somebody with anger, you'll
probably get anger back. You address
somebody with kindness,
low tone,
being polite, most likely that's going
to be the same reaction. Same thing with
everything that you do in this world.
You do a a negative act, which let's go
now to the guide. The guide tells you
not to lie and not to kill and not to
steal and not to commit adultery and not
to slander and not to trash and not to
do many things. There's a lot of knots.
knots don't
365. Why did I say seven?
>> I said 57.
>> 365.
H
>> like the sun.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
And from each one of them comes another
list of don'ts. Half of the Torah is
don't. Now you think these don't are to
make your life hard or to restrict you
in some way or to bring you to a place
of of OCD?
Why are the mitzvot so hard for you? If
the Torah says don't lie, why why why
don't you see the reaction? putting your
hand into the fire, you see the the
reaction. You actually don't see you
just common sense. So if you have common
sense not to put your hand in fire cuz
you know the reaction will burn your
hand. Why don't you have the common
sense not to lie or to slander?
Don't you have that common sense too?
That's what I don't understand actually.
That's what I don't understand. When I
look at people, I mean, I came from the
same place. I there's no excuses. I came
from a side of being not observant.
So, I know what it is to live your life
not observant and then to start crossing
the bridge.
You can't tell me something I don't
know.
And I don't understand. I never
understood. You see, you recognize God.
You understand what's going on here. And
some things don't scare you. don't make
uh sense to you. I don't understand
that. I actually don't understand that.
How come you are afraid of a physical
human being, whether it's a judge, a
policeman, or some just another guy that
is bullying you, but you're not afraid
of how your re your actions will cause
some type of a reaction from Hashem or
any other spiritual entity to this
example.
I told you last week when you
when you go after your lusts and your
desires, you aggravate the you wake up
the
so so some bully from the street you're
afraid to walk up to him because he's
screaming and he's big guy
him you're afraid of
but doing
some act that will wake up your that if
you see how Yes, looks that you're not
afraid of
the common sense here doesn't work for
most people. That's what drives me nuts.
How can you do I don't understand
from this you're afraid without even
seeing the reaction. From that you're
not afraid.
Something's not working well in the up
there
because I don't know. First of all, I
can tell you for a fact that most people
never read the guide. They know how to
criticize the guide, but they never read
it.
How many people really read the whole
Torah? And I'm going to give you a
discount. Not the Tanakh, just the the
Torah.
Not a lot of people. The ones who
criticize the Torah never read it. Maybe
read the few verses.
Whether it's non-Jews or secular Jews or
or whatever you want, the ones who
complain the most on the Torah actually
never read it.
You see all the politicians in Israel
quoting verses from the Torah
on the agenda that serves them,
right? that the the like you see the the
gay community.
Excuse me.
You are quoting the same Torah that
tells you that you're living a life not
the right way.
And then you see these left-wing
politicians quoting Yeshaya. Excuse me.
You quoting?
You don't even know who he was.
It's not a street. It's a prophet.
So, so the ones who criticize the Torah,
uh, the never read it even, the more you
let, how would I say it? The less you
read it, the more ignorant, the more you
you will criticize it. The more you read
the Torah, the more it makes sense, the
more everything is clear, the more you
follow it.
Therefore, when I see people sinning and
I'm when I'm talking more people who are
more aware of the Torah and God just
proves my point. You didn't read the
Torah enough if you still lie and if you
still slander and if you still steal and
if you still judgmental and if you still
jealous and all that. You didn't read
enough the Torah, my friend. and you
read it maybe like a magazine
because if you would read once
the entire five books
and I'm not going to even put pressure
on you and say with commentary
I guarantee to you your behavior will be
different
and I know many people might now raise
their hand says but I read the entire
five books
you are one out of 20% maybe
and I'm talking about Not the secular
that never read the Torah. Even
observant people
who grew up observant,
I can tell you never read the entire
thing the right way. I mean, chapter
after chapter, forget about now
commentary.
No commentary. Just read the Torah.
And even if you read it once, you need
to read it at least a 100 times minimum
before you start understanding what's
going on.
So how can you complain on the Torah
when you didn't really read it or learn
it? And if you really read it and really
learn it, you won't have any complaints.
You will be a Hashem. Smile on your
face. Ever Hashem is a servant of the
God.
smile on the face, never complain, and
most likely never sin.
Because the same way that you're not
going to take now a car and accelerate
to 250 kilometers an hour and run into a
wall just to see if the airbags will
come out or how strong the car is.
You wouldn't do such a thing because
your basic common sense says I'm going
to die. I'm going to wreck the car. It
doesn't make s
that you're aware not to do. But to go
quietly and to spread a lie about
another person and spread for a
community, that's okay. Ah, sorry. I
missed that chapter in the Torah.
Do you understand where it doesn't
resonate with me? When I see people who
are believing in God, pretending lie,
cheat, slander, take, manipulate, step
all over. So stop pretending.
Pim is in a few months, right? It's only
kanuka coming. No need to pretend all
day long.
So what you need to learn from that is
how is that affecting you and what you
need to take from that. You need to look
at yourself like I told you before. Have
you ever seen how you look?
Most people are not crit how do you say
critic?
>> Self-critic.
>> Huh?
>> Self-critical.
>> Self-critical. Okay. Okay. Most people
are not self-critical. Most people don't
look at themselves. They see the faults
of everybody else and complain.
She's lazy. He's annoying. He's
arrogant.
Where's the eye?
If you want to do she, he he he she he
has to be a lot of eyes here. When I
come and complain to someone in my life
about something that is not acceptable,
it's only after I analyze me.
I don't complain to most people. So I
mainly complain to myself. I look at
myself.
Now why all this is so important and I
hope that you're following every word
that I'm saying. It's not that I'm we're
just having a chitchat here.
The month of is the most darkest month
of the year.
The earliest Shabbat in the month of
Kisv.
Okay, maybe in Tibet you still have
butish
spiritually
will be considered the the the
possibility of very very big darkness
spiritual darkness of course.
Usually when there's a very thick
darkness it means right after comes the
light. That's how God created the world.
It's first Hashem created the heaven and
the earth, spiritual world, physical
world.
The land was full of darkness
chaos
and right after that
and Hashem created the light.
Basic understanding of the Torah that I
said that most people never read. basic
understanding of a six-year-old.
First came darkness
and then came the light. Correct.
The land was
chaos and there was darkness all you
know on the faith fa all over the abyss.
But in the beginning
is the heavens spiritual world where
where we on
the lower world was chaos note
and then
so basic understanding from the text
first Hashem created darkness and then
he created the
Because if he would create the light
first,
then you might not be able to
distinguish between what's the good and
the bad. What's the light and the
darkness? Because the light will
overpower the darkness. So how would you
see that there's such an existence of a
darkness to differentiate? Because if
everything would have uh uh wouldn't
have a polarity, we would have an issue
with our belief in one God. Everything
has to have a polarity. I explained that
more in depth last class.
But in order for me to understand the
existence of good, I need to be
acquainted first with the existence of
bad. If you would born, if you would be
born, take an experiment and take a
child and make them born in a perfect
environment
on a perfect island,
perfect weather, no uh uh pollution,
nothing ever, everything is clean,
everything natural, nothing processed,
good diet
like a perfect environment. Now see how
that person will grow that let's say you
don't expose that person to theft to
evil to nothing everything the person
grows cushioned
how would that person come out angry
a bitter person no become a normal
person
so
going back to what I was saying the
month of Kisv is a month that has the
opportunity of very great darkness.
Why? Because
there's going to come the light right
after. When comes a big darkness in your
life, it's because light is about to
happen right after. If you allow it, you
can miss the opportunity. The darkness
is really for you the gauge of there's
an opportunity waiting. You don't see it
right now because it's darkness. But if
you're willing to do some actions, the
darkness will soon turn to light and an
opportunity will come up and a situation
in your life that was difficult for a
year, two, three years, doesn't matter
half your life, one month,
the darkness will turn into light.
The question is, are you willing to do
certain act?
Most people they feel the darkness
they don't know how to get out of it and
they lose the opportunity to bring the
light that comes after the darkness. So
they miss many opportunities to bring
this light into their life. Now how you
call the light it doesn't matter. Right
now I'm calling it a light but half an
hour ago I called it a miracle. So if I
need some miracle in my life and it can
be
shalom health issue,
it can be a relationship situation that
is very difficult to deal with and I
need some miracle to be able to deal
with this child or with this whatever
and it can be a million things that you
need a miracle in your life. You don't
have livelihood. You want to get
married, can't get pregnant. I need to
tell you the list of what miracles
people need. You need to figure out what
miracles you need in your life.
But miracles don't come for free.
Now the thing is like this that if you
know naturally
to completely ignore the darkness in
your life and to light up that darkness
that by default the reaction of your
action will be miraculous.
That's basic behavior.
That's why I said before the the it's
not Hashem that punishes you when you do
sins. It's your sins that punish you
because you create some reality in the
world and now that reality is haunting
you. That's it. So if you lie or you
slander or you cheat or you do whatever
sin, it's not Hashem punishing you now.
It's you created with that sin and
reality. You brought some energy into
the world with your lie, with your
jealousy, with your anger. Now you
created a spiritual entity that you need
to feed. So it will come and bother you.
So it's not you're not being punished by
the master of the universe. You are
being haunted and punished by your own
action. Don't do these actions anymore.
Then nothing will bother you.
Do chuva. You will remove it. be aware
of your behavior.
I'm telling you from sitting on this
side looking this for 20 years.
No offense, I find it 1% of my followers
and students that they actually do what
I'm what I'm saying that they look at
themselves.
When was the last time you looked at
yourself before you judge somebody else
which falls perfectly in the month of
with the stop complaining because when I
somebody bothers me to a place that it
brings me to complain then I can easily
complain about that individual
that individual was irresponsible that
individual promised and didn't do that
individual said this and that
I never look like that at people I'm not
judgmental in that respect to other
people.
I'm always judgmental on myself and when
somebody does something negative to me,
I don't get angry at that person. I
understand that that person right now is
a messenger and I need to right away
reverse
the camera like you have in the
smartphones. You have the camera, you
press a button, it reverses. Now you
look at yourself. Huh?
See, you look at the world through the
camera looking that way, but just click
the button, it switches again. Now you
see yourself. Now that most people don't
do in reality, that's what most people
do.
You know,
the other day I was at a wedding. Most
people take selfies. Why can't you just
say, "Excuse me, do you mind taking a
picture of me and my lovely wife?
Now, every time you take a selfie, the
whole face is distorted because, you
know, it's not a real good camera. So,
suddenly your face is distorted or it's
all crooked or you see like half a face,
no eye.
You know, in my days, it was, "Excuse
me, do you mind taking a picture of me?"
Remember those days?
What's the big deal?
So with your camera you're willing to
look at yourself but to look at how you
behave that you don't know. That's where
you fail to look at yourself. Now pay
attention because this is where this is
where this is the core of the class
a your behavior you darkening your
world. Don't complain.
Don't complain. Most of your issues you
you are the designer. You darken your
own world. That's how it works.
If you want to complain, complain,
complain to yourself. More than that,
the kadu will create a situation of
darkness in your life,
which you can now say darkness equals a
lack in your life. Lack of money, lack
of relationship, lack of
some sanity, some peace of mind, lack of
good,
how do you call it, a house, your
residence.
So the darkness now can be equal to lack
in your life. Bad boss,
bad neighbor driving you crazy all day
long or whatever situation.
Now that's not necessarily something
that you create. Although you can
attract the the wrong people with your
behavior. That's most cases
that you with your behavior attract the
people that you deserve. You lie a lot.
You cheat a lot. You'll attract these
people to you.
You're kind,
you're patient, you're understanding.
You'll attract those people.
That's why you have people around you,
you're not so happy about them. Look at
your behavior. They'll look at other
people. Constantly look at yourself.
Sov will always come in a form of a very
thick darkness
only implying that there's a great
opportunity. Obviously in a few days
mystically there's a week to be more
precise 8 days that something happens in
the universe
that this godly light that actually is
the power of creation. It's called the
oraganuz the light that Hashem created
the world with. It's not the light that
we see right now. And when I'm saying
light I'm not talking about the light of
a light bulb and or or the light of the
sun.
Don't in the light of Hashem.
It's not the same light that Hashem
created the world with. Different light.
>> Excuse me.
>> No, no, no, no. I'm not talking about
now.
The Hashem to create the world used the
certain light.
>> Now, no, no, no. That's not what I'm
talking about. I'm talking about that
the tool that Hashem used to create the
world. It's almost like what would be
the the right example?
I mean, anything that you manufacture
has to be the right tool for that. It
doesn't matter what you manufacture.
There's a certain machine or tool that
you that you do that. I'll give you an
an old version example. You take a piece
of wood and you want to carve something
out of it. Has to be a tool here. What's
the tool? The in Hebrew it's called
Mellet. I don't know how you call it in
English. Huh?
>> Chisel.
>> Chisel. Okay.
You don't make a a nice artwork with a
piece of wood with a screwdriver or with
a I don't know what with a fork or with
a rake. You need a chisel. That's the
tool.
And that's the tool that makes that sp
certain creation. And that tool can do
other things.
So the same idea Hashem had a certain
tool how he created the world. Now of
course yeah we're not going to go now to
the whole background of how Hashem
created the world.
The tool is this a certain light that he
used and that light is so powerful that
was able to create the world.
that specific light, that specific tool.
Hashem said, "This is so powerful. I
can't just leave it to have it access to
anyone." And he hid that light mainly
because he saw in the future of all the
generations that will be wicked people.
And he says the wicked people will
damage the light. I'll hide the light.
Gnuz means hidden. So that specific tool
is hidden till Mashiah will come.
Mashiah will reveal this light.
You're correct. Every now and then the a
little spark of this light is revealed.
Shabbat right before Shabbat comes in a
little spark of the organ is revealed.
That's when the ladies light the candles
to grab a little bit of this organ. Now
you won't see it with your own eyes
unless you are a great sadic. But there
are times throughout the year there's
this
hidden light. And I it's very important
that you understand don't imagine a
light. Don't imagine some bright candle
or some big ca light projector.
Okay, not now the time to explain the
concept. But don't imagine a physical
light. But this organ
shines on certain times on
comes down to the world
huge night for a miracle. Now again,
it's it's the same concept, different
words. By the way, miracle, godly light.
I mean, it's all the same thing. Miracle
sounds very like a hallmark.
You need a miracle. You know what I
mean? Miracle is when God changes the
order of the script.
That requires a lot of work. Go now to a
book or to a movie or anything that has
a script. Now change the script. Yeah,
but it will affect now a chain reaction.
If I change something here, it will
affect everything. That is the same
thing also as like a as a an a plan of
an architect of an engineer. Can you
move the wall from here over here? I
sure can, but it's going to require work
cuz I need to move now the pillars over
here. And you know, I have to move some
stuff. It can be done, but it requires a
lot of work.
So a miracle when I'm saying a miracle
there's a script in in your life
and now the script is being changed you
know what it means that the script is
being changed it's going to affect many
other people here has to now affect many
more people
now not not only that
it takes much more than that but that's
why I'm saying miracle it's a nice word
I'm saying another word that is not
familiar to most people organ the hidden
light. If you get some of the hidden
light revealed to you, that's that's a
miracle. Something will sh something
will shift in your life. Now, how does
it work? It's very very simple.
We are battling the darkness in our
life. Everybody's battling that
darkness.
The darkness is manifested from an exile
that is called Galutavan. There are four
four exiles that we are aware of that
are explained in the second verse of the
Torah.
Four four types of exiles and
is corresponding to the exile that is
called Yavan. That's the nation that had
the war now in Kanuka. The war I I don't
need to give you a Kanuka introduction.
the Greek, they came to to to the the
nation of Israel not to kill them. It
wasn't like Haman that wanted to kill
them or par or any other
that the the Greek didn't want to kill
the Jews. They say we don't want to kill
you. We just don't want you to believe
in your God. That's it. If you don't
believe in your God, if you follow our
hashkafa, how we look at the world, then
we're good. But if you believe in
something that you can't see, then we
don't like that. And they brought an
entire
uh
>> hop
I I I was about to say philosophy, but
it's much more than a philosophy. It's a
it's way more the the Greek philosophy
is way more than a philosophy. But yeah,
they they raped the world with their
philosophy. The Greek philosophy that by
the way is controlling up until today
nothing changed. The Kashm won 2700
years ago the war but the Greek won the
war and never never they that never
anybody took the title from them by the
way. They're holding the title the Greek
the Greek philosophy is what's
controlling the world right now. It's
all about me all about my pleasures. all
about beauty of the world. Enjoy the
beauty of the world. Eat as much as you
can. Tomorrow you're going to die.
>> H.
>> Yeah.
So, and and I mean most people don't
realize that the the Greek see in Hebrew
it's called yavan. Tabut is the culture.
So, philosophy is part of the culture.
Most people live their life according to
the Greek culture.
the fans of sports, whether it's hockey,
football, basketball,
put now the most genius rabbi in a
stadium to teach the secrets of the
Torah. There'll be 5,000 people there.
Put now two teams fighting against each
other. Two billion people are glued to a
screen looking at a few men running on a
on a grass with a ball.
You know what I mean? Bring now a great
sadik anywhere in the world. Nobody
would look would look like a like nobody
would look at him. Bring some NBA player
Ronaldo.
So the guy knows how to kick a ball.
Wow,
I wish I was Ronaldo.
And that's what everybody's like.
And that's one example out of many
music, movies, everything. 99% of people
in the world are are controlled by the
culture of Yavan, the Greek one. That
the basics of it, it's all materialism.
No God, that's the Greeks. We'll take
everything. We'll accept everything. You
like men, you're welcome. You like
women, you come aboard, too. You like
money? We love money. Do you like
pleasures? Oh, we'll give you all the
pleasures.
Do you believe in a god? Yeah. Oh, no,
no, no, no. What I can't touch and what
I can't see doesn't exist.
That's in your brain. Not in our
culture.
That's what the Greeks came. Katm will
accept you.
If you disagree,
that's what the Greeks came. We don't
want Shabbat. We don't want
circumcision. We don't want
We don't all the stuff that we that
doesn't make even make sense.
Believe it or not, even though you're
wearing a yamaka, there's a very good
chance that you are 90 to 99% under the
influence of
this culture with your yarmaka with
believing in God. You're a slave to that
culture, slave to materialism, slave to
physical pleasures, slave to everything
with your tit and your yamaka and your
kosher food. That's most people by the
way. Now, what would be the results? As
I have explained in the last hour, you
are the architect of your own issues
because you are the one who's doing
actions and you bringing on yourself
reactions. So you are kind of in charge
of the darkness in your life.
Now I'm not talking about right now
certain aspects of your life that that
can be an incarnation that you need to
fix a tikun and I'm not talking about
right now the actual script of your
life. Everybody has to have suffering in
to some extent.
So a certain suffering in your life and
by the way changes to every person but a
certain suffering in your life is things
that you need to correct from a previous
life.
No difference in anybody here. That's a
certain amount of your baggage. Don't
cry. Don't whine. Take it with a smile.
You're paying the debts. You are
cleaning the slate right now because you
came up to the heavens in a different
time and they wanted to throw you into
the barbecue and you're like, "Please,
please, please, I'll do whatever."
You started crying like a baby. Begged
for your life and they gave you another
chance. Okay, we'll reincarnate you in
this life again, but you're going to be
poor. You're going to be sick. You're
going to have problems of heal till
tomorrow.
Accept. Yeah. Okay. So no, shut up.
That's why our sages teach you accept
the hardship with love because Hashem is
now cleaning the dirt that you wouldn't
be able to do that or would take
thousands of light years in gon to take
all these stains off your
so you got incarnated. So shut up with
the suffering that you have. That's a
certain amount of your suffering.
Another amount of it is what Hashem
designed in your life. And no such thing
that everybody will have a pink life.
No such a thing.
The resultal says we're all going like
on a ferris wheel. At some point, when
I'm saying at some point, at some
reincarnation, we're all going to be
rich. At some incarnation, we're all
going to be poor. You're going to go
through all the options at some point.
That when you come to the heavens, no
soul can say, "Oh, that soul had more
challenges than me. If I had their
challenges, I wouldn't be. By the way,
Hashem gives us equally the same
challenges, just that it turns around
like a ferris wheel. I imagine it like a
Japanese restaurant. You ever been to
this restaurant? You have like a big
round table and you you turn the table
and all the dishes turn. That's how I
imagine it. One time I have the dish,
one time you have the dish. Now, let's
switch dishes.
So, one time you'll be rich, one time
you'll be poor, one time you'll be
married, one time you'll be single. When
I'm saying one time, I'm talking one
lifetime.
So all your lives has to be some some
challenges.
That's your dayto-day. That's your
script challenges. Just deal with it.
And by the way, that's sometimes your
whole life. Some people their challenge
is to have a bad marriage and all their
life they'll be stuck in a bad marriage.
And it's not because of the behavior.
It's that's their challenge.
The same way that some people
have the challenge to lose a child,
that's a very very hard challenge for a
parent. Some people their whole life
gets ruined when they lose a child.
Their whole life is ruined and they
don't understand. That's the challenge
was that was chose for you. For him is
divorce. For him is poverty. For you to
lose a child. But don't forget that in
300 years ago in a different incarnation
that was the different way around.
So you probably have tasted of
everything. That's why you don't look
down at everybody. Don't look to up to
up up at too many. Unless you see
somebody that was able to overcome
things that you haven't, then you have
the right to look up at that person.
But we have the same challenges over and
over and we switch them all the time.
Don't complain. just deal with the
challenge that that's good for you.
That's what Hashem wants you. But then I
will take if you if we're cutting it
into a pile look the majority of your
challenges of the darkness in your life,
it's you. You did that
with your arrogance, with your jealousy,
with your hatred, with everything, with
your laziness, with everything.
I don't throw responsibility on anything
in my life. I don't blame anybody to
anything. Blame I I always take the
blame. I look where I messed up.
I don't blame Oh, because of him this
didn't work. No.
Therefore, I take responsibility to the
darkness in my life.
So, I do an action.
Something's dark in my life, then
increase the light. That's it. You can't
fight the darkness. You won't you won't
make it. Don't try. I've tried. It
doesn't work. And greater men than me
tried. Jacobino fought the darkness the
whole night. Couldn't
couldn't. He was able to hold it, but
not to overpower it. So don't try. Why
are you trying even? Just dodge the
bullet. I explained that last week. Just
just move away.
So the round the time of will always
cater to you great great darkness
but
comes
tells you if you just don't complain
throughout this time then you'll ride
over the wave and what waits after the
wave is the light is a miracle.
Now I know miracle might sound like a
childish word but you know sometimes
when you need it doesn't it's not
childish at all when you need a miracle
and it comes I don't know how many times
it happened to you and how many miracles
happened to me my whole life is one big
miracle but I can count your miracles
every day that I see in front of my eyes
and you know what causes the miracle me.
I'm the one that can do that. All
depends your priority. What are you
willing to put on the table? How much do
you willing to give to activate a
miracle? Now don't think that it's taken
from your by the way from your merits.
Don't don't say okay I'm going to do now
an act and now I'm going to get a
miracle and it's going to take off from
my merits in the world to come. Has
nothing to do with it. The act that you
do just allows the light to come in into
your world which by default diminishes
the darkness and you activated a
miracle. You shifted something. You can
make a good livelihood. You have a
problem with paranas. Do some miraculous
act. Do some act of that's what is
required. You will bring light into your
life and by default the situation will
change because most likely you are the
one who caused it to start with.
Therefore
you see that when the great comes with
this recommendation don't complain
because when you complain it's almost
like you making a meal and the whole
meal it's disgusting.
Why? I put so too much salt. You're the
cook.
You're complaining about the dish.
You're the cook.
So why you complaining?
When you get to to the point to
understand that complaining doesn't
achieve anything, just causes problems,
then it brings you to awareness to stop
when you're about to complain.
And I'll and I'll give you an example. I
can only give you an example on myself.
Two weeks my back I have a lot a lot of
pain. Hard for me to walk. Hard I can't
even get up. Now it's much better last
two days. But that's something minor
that can easily drive you crazy to a
point of complaining. Can't take it. I
very easy to complain in situations like
this when you have a lot of pain. When
you have a lot of pain for a day, fine,
two days, three days, ah, one week die.
So I told you, Hashem made sure he's
pushing all buttons right after my tooth
broke. You know, I had pain I had, my
doctor couldn't see me.
And the whole time I'm laughing because
I see how Hashem wants to see. Let's see
if he's gonna complain. Poke him. You
know, she is like poking me. He wants to
see. You going to complain or you just
going to be happy? Now, what's the
reverse engineer that I need to do here?
That I did something now my back hurts
or I did something my my two/3s. First
of all, that's what I do by the way.
That's what I do all the time. First,
you do the first analysis.
If my back hurts right away I go and see
which part of the back is in the is it
in the vertebrae is it in the muscles
because you know you do certain act it
will affect the body that's that's
sickness by the way if you ever wonder
why the body becomes sick is because the
organ that became sick the light from
the nama couldn't penetrate in there so
the body becomes sick so if the sickness
shalom is here here it doesn't matter
I'm telling you don't You you don't have
to ask a doctor. I'm telling you what
God explains in the Torah. Whatever
organ becomes weak and sick is because
the light of the nama who looks the same
shape of the body doesn't penetrate into
that organ or into that part.
You know that when you ask doctors up
until today, they can't explain to you
where cancer cells come from. They
don't. They know to explain where and
that they multiply. They don't know how
to explain where it comes from.
Not talking about now saying radiation
this. I'm talking about where does it
come from?
They don't know how to explain that. And
the explanation is because the nama is a
generator of light. The light is mhat.
It's everywhere. It's contained while
it's dressed into a that the is dressed
into a nephesh. Now the nama is
contained so to say the light of the
nama is contained. Therefore most of the
nishama is not even in the body. It
cannot be in the body. You cannot you
can't excuse my language. You can't
shove it in. It doesn't get in.
So a piece of the can be in the body
only because it's dressed in a
is not wind and then the and the dressed
into a nephesh. Now the nephesh already
has already the shape of the body. So
the nephesh is like this balloon of
light in the shape of the body that the
nephesh gets dressed into the body 100%.
Take now the nephesh out of the body
which is equivalent to a person dying.
Come back in 3 days.
The body looks like a shrunk
gray. Not gray. How do you call it?
>> Raisin,
right? You probably seen two three days
the body. Why? The nephish went out. The
air went out. So the whole body shrinks.
The way you look is how the neffish
looks. Your fingerprints, your all the
lines on your forehead, face,
everything. It's the nephesh, you know,
leaning against the body and creating
that. That's why a person that has the
knowledge looks at your lines and can
tell you things about you. Lines on your
forehead. We learned here a few years
ago in the Zohar. All the lines on the
forehead and now knows everything.
everything. It tells something about the
neph.
And it's not because that's how the body
looks. It's because the nephish it's
almost like you take a you know we were
kids we had that thing had a lot a lot
of pins and you would put it like on the
face and on the other side it looked
like the face. That that's the idea. You
know what I'm talking about that toy.
That's what the neffesh does. It pushes
against the body and then you get your
look.
how the nose look, how the forehead
looks, how everything looks.
Sometimes I sidetrack. I don't even know
how I got to that the nama right now.
More interesting is if you following
how did I get to the nama right now?
Let's see. Quick test.
>> Oh, no. No. What you said? We're talking
about the life orans.
>> Oh, somebody's listening.
>> I was talking about how does the body
get sick is because when the nama is in
the body in every part of the body, if
the nama doesn't light right now here,
this organ will get sick, weak because
there's no light there. How would it
affect the organ? So, no light in the
finger
will cause I don't know
a very small reaction. No light in your
liver that's going to cause a different
problem. That's a vital organ. No light
in the heart, no heart, light in your
intestines, that's type of organs that
will cause serious sickness. No light
right now in your finger. So your finger
will hurt for a day or it will be numb
or you can't bend it or whatever. But
the point is sickness is a result of a
deficiency of spiritual light in that
organ. Therefore whatever sickness the
person is bring in the right light into
the organ. The person is is is healthy.
Now is that how is that called in our
language? A miracle right?
It's a miracle
medical miracle.
So just imagine how much darkness you
bring into your own life.
Introspect, go through yourself and
you'll see that you bring a lot of
darkness in your life. And in many of
the times you have to blame the all the
world. Don't ever blame anyone. Look at
yourself. I only I I'm I isolate myself
from the world when it comes to that
type of spiritual work.
Never am I looking at somebody else and
finding fault in anyone. Not my wife,
kids, anyone. I always look only at
myself. And that's how you really learn
where you are wrong. And of course, you
need the combination of the Torah to
tell you where to look.
To conclude, we are all battling the
darkness in our life. And the darkness
can come about with a sadness. People
are in depressed, sad or or that
situation. It can be a sickness. It can
be lack of money. It can be a lonely. It
can be a million things. But the fact is
that you battling with some type of
darkness in your life. Now imagine you
would take the advice of which means
that in the last three weeks you
wouldn't be living in darkness, right?
Because everything you would be thankful
Because what does he say? Don't complain
about nothing and be thankful. So I have
a back pain. Don't complain. Just be
thank you Hashem. A it could have been
worse. B I have must have done something
that I'm now eating my own medicine. B
let me reverse engineer now. Maybe I
have done something that I don't know
how to do chuva for it. So Hashem
So to say in Hebrew we say meal
Hashem rolls a situation that will raise
a red light in my mind to be like oh
maybe
that's how Hashem brings you back. If
you don't know how to bring yourself
back which most people don't know
because to bring yourself back your
yourself back you need to do what I just
been telling you for the last hour. Look
at yourself. If you know how to look at
yourself, you know how to do chuva. You
know how to bring yourself back
from the wrong way you went. If you're
not following what I'm saying, you went
the wrong path. Now you need to back up.
Sometimes when you go the wrong path,
it's very easy. You turn around the car,
you make a U-turn, and you go back. The
other day, I went to drop my son off
somewhere. I went in head first. I had
to go back the whole alley back. There
wasn't a place to reverse to to turn
around. You know what I'm talking about?
Like a culde-sac. I had to reverse back
700 m.
So sometimes you go the wrong way. You
need to know how to go back. Most people
find it very difficult to turn around
completely and go back from their
wrongdoing. That means apologizing.
That's mean admitting. That's that means
coming and fixing the situation.
That's turning around in my analogy in
your oneway wrong path that you're going
on. Most people just back up
by not continue the confrontation.
But when you go down the wrong path, if
you don't know how to reverse it and go
back yourself and make ends meet and
make everything good, then Hashem will
make you do that. And then Hashem is
going to send to you some challenge and
you're going to have to do that. And if
you're smart, you will connect the dots
and figure it out and repent and do cha
and finish with it. Most people don't
figure it out and it will come again and
again. It's harder, stronger till you
get it. So when I have a back pain,
first of all, I reverse engineer. What
did I do? Must have done something.
A I'm taking full responsibility here.
Hey, don't complain. Don't complain. It
could have been much more than okay.
Second of all, I know it sounds stupid
and childish. Instead of saying, "Ah,
say thank you Hashem," just say, "Thank
you, Hashem."
The last two weeks, everybody would ask
me, "How's your back?" Instead of
saying, "It still hurts or it's sore or
I can't take it anymore. I can't take
it. It hurts me so much." That's the
reactions of most people. The reaction
has to be back. What's wrong with the
back? You said it's been pain. Well,
that's that's nothing.
Pain is to make you feel alive.
If you don't have pain, do you feel
alive?
Some most people are not there. Some
they're
How do you say some pe most people are
like No. Huh?
>> Yeah. Flying in the sky. You need to
like wake up. Oh. What? Most people are
like that by the way.
So
a problem happens you reverse engineer.
If the problem I broke my tooth right
away there was a sin with the mouth.
The reaction is coming in the mouth
right away. Reverse engineer
cheating lying. What what did I do with
the mouth? And if I can't find something
that I did with the mouth, okay, it
could be from 20 years ago, it could be
from 30 years ago, could be from a
previous incarnation. I never overlook
something that happens and where and
what and how lower back, upper back, you
know, the whole week by my pain went
down to my right leg. Okay, I have to
start reversing engineering. Why is the
right leg, not the right hand and not
the left ear? So I do reverse engineer.
Why is that the pain? Why is the
challenge coming like that? That's now
not the class to explain how you reverse
engineer. But you need to think with
yourself. Everything that happens in my
way, I look at myself. What do I need to
take? What do I need to improve? Where
am I going wrong? It's all lights of
Hashem telling you you're not doing that
great.
Why does tell you not to complain?
Because when you complain, you don't
focus on the mistakes that you need to
learn from. You throw responsibility
somewhere else.
So if I'm complaining of my back pain,
I'm throwing responsibility to Hashem.
Hashem, please, my back hurts me so
much.
I don't do that. I don't say, "Hashem,
please, please relieve my back hurts
me." And I definitely don't take
chemicals that will relieve the pain.
That's the ultimate shekel.
I don't care how much pain I am in. I
will not take pain relief chemicals to
relieve the pain because that's shekel.
That's numbing the problem. You're
ignoring the problem.
And if you're asking me, so I should
deal with the pain. Yes.
Because that's how you're going to
learn, my friend. Numbing the pain, you
will not learn. You will numb the pain.
Numb the situation. No action, no
result.
I have a headache now. I go and take a
Tylenol. What did I do? I only numb the
pain by numbing the nerves. That's what
it does. Did I solve the problem? No.
Why do I have a headache? Well, maybe
I'm dehydrated. Maybe I'm under
nutrition. Maybe I didn't eat today.
Maybe I didn't sleep. Maybe I'm exposed
to radiation. Maybe maybe maybe. Why
take a Tylenol, you idiot?
go figure out what's the problem and
reverse it.
And many of the times you're dehydrated.
Drink two, three cups of water. Put a
grain of salt on your tongue before you
drink a little bit of lemon in the in
the water to alkaline the water. That's
it. You'll see the headache is gone in
two minutes.
Normally, a headache is dirty blood,
toxins in the blood. Go to the bathroom.
Drink a lot. Cleanse the body. You're
taking a Tylenol.
You know what you just did? You just did
mute. The video is running.
No sound. You muted the video, you
idiot. Excuse me. That's what I'm how
I'm saying that, but I don't I I
actually don't get it.
It's almost like having a cut on my
hand. I take a Tylenol. What? Stop the
bleeding.
So if there's a pain go see why the pain
is coming why treat it 90% of the times
you don't need to treat it with all the
chemicals that the world caters to you a
little change in you the discomfort and
the pain will go away.
So when you're complaining on something,
you're not overseeing why are you in
pain.
That's why tells you don't complain.
Stop. I know you all failed. You don't
have to look at me like I I was able not
to complain. Everybody fails in me,
including me. But you know where I don't
fail is that I know how to catch it the
second that it comes out of my mouth.
Why? To be able to stop and see. Whoa,
whoa, whoa, whoa. Why am I complaining?
And I reverse engineer the situation.
And I find very quickly, A, there's no
point of complaining. B, thank you,
Hashem, for helping me because you're
helping me. A, remove dirt from my soul
because of my sins. And if I need to do
chuva and I don't know what to do,
chuva, and suddenly I get a certain
pain. Ah, now I remember. Hashem uses
these things to point out where you need
to banner yourself.
So now comes the ultimate solution. Next
week is Kanuka.
Sunday night. Kanuka is my favorite
holiday. Favorite holiday. Not because I
like the donuts.
Because what you can achieve.
What you can achieve in Kanuka.
I don't think you can do it throughout
the the year so easily
and you don't need to do much by the way
now I'm not talking right now about the
lighting of the and the kanukia that I
gave enough classes go and watch them
and I highly actually highly highly
recommend
the we prepared a page on my website
atmood.organuka for/anuka.
Go, you have to go to this page. You
have to see every video on this page and
read whatever and not miss one thing
because there's a lot of prayers to do
during Kanuka and you don't want to miss
it. You want to do it precisely how it
needs to be done and you have everything
written for you on the website. You
don't have to do nothing. just click a
button because when you light the the
certain prayers that you need to say in
a certain order takes to
normal readers half an hour slow readers
two hours but you want to be at least
half an hour next to the candles and not
on your phone by the way don't invite
your phone to the kanuka candle lighting
please because you're going to check it
>> huh Everything
>> bring what?
>> Print everything.
>> First of all, you can print everything.
Second of all,
everything that you need to do is in an
every
it doesn't have it in the Ashkenazi
or
but take us not
it's in exactly what you need to read.
It's not that I'm some hocus pocus here.
it's in the
okay so I added a few things based on
you know some great teachings of Kabala
but it's it's in the sidu so it's not so
hard to find but if you want to have the
prayers and it's on your phone which I
know many have it when I if you can
physically not bring the phone ad if
better if you have the prayers on the
phone don't don't spend that time on
Instagram Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook,
the half an hour you might want to be
minimum next to the candles. Silence.
You look at the candles. If you can look
just at the candles for half an hour,
every time you look in the wrong
direction, every time you judge a person
with your eyes, every time you damage
anything with your eyes, looking at the
candle will will
fix it.
That's very very difficult, especially
for men. Men look at not nice places,
immodest places and that it ruins the
damage in
I don't remember who quoted that
but he said that the pain the soul
experiences when I look at something
immodest, if I look at a naked woman in
an immodest way, the pain my soul feels
is equivalent that if you Take now a
needle and poke somebody in the eye. Can
you imagine the pain and not only poking
like
what we say in our language?
Put the needle all the way in. Can you
imagine the pain? That's what the nama
feels when you're looking in something
inappropriate
and then you wonder why you have
problems in your life. Now the nama
doesn't say I but it will affect you
that pain. So looking at the candles
cures the eyes and women need it too.
Even though they don't necessarily have
that problem looking in in modest
places, but they also need that too.
They also look
highly recommend just to look at the
candles for half an hour and go look at
all my videos and learn it yourself how
you light, where you light, what you
need to do. Wax, oil. Don't do wax. Wax
is not the right way. You do it with
oil. Pure olive oil. Wax is for the
where they do in the mall or for little
kids. Don't do with the wax. Follow the
rules how you need to. Do it the right
way. You you you will light up your
world. You can't even imagine how you're
going to light up your world if you do
kanuka the right way. By the way, that's
why where all the miracles come from.
And it's not that you brought in some uh
you just brought light into your life.
You brought light into your life. By
default, everything will get fixed
miraculously.
You understand that? It's a very simple
equation.
You create darkness, deal with the
issues, push away the darkness, invite a
lot of light, the issues will take care
of themselves, and you'll be able to
title it as a miracle. The more you put,
the more you give, that's what you're
going to take out. That's it. You want a
big miracle,
a lifechanging miracle, then you need to
do actions that will invite that light.
That's it. Very simple math.
Now, I have one trick how I do the whole
thing. And I taught that many times, but
I'll teach you again because I apply and
then I see how it works. I like to
invite miracles into my life. Just
yesterday, a big miracle happened. There
was a big problem which I don't like say
I talk I by the way a lot of the times I
talk your language in my life there's no
problems
if I would talk to myself right now I
would wouldn't say there was a big
problem okay I would say there was a
great challenge
but to speak your language I had a big
problem
big problems needs big solutions Right?
Like any individual, I turned to
solution number one. Didn't work.
I turned to option number two. That
didn't work either.
When solution number three didn't work,
then most people, that's when they start
getting angry, disappointed, lose faith,
freaking out. What's going on?
Now, the more it goes, the more the
solution doesn't come. I'm not talking
about that you you're missing an
ingredient for your cake and it the
solution is to go to the store. I'm
talking that you have some type of
situation in your life that you will
title as a big problem right now and you
don't have a solution
right now. You're like what it can come
money. I need money right now.
Somebody called me the other day I need
25,000 shekels. I said, "Okay,
give me a few days." He says, "I need it
now." I says, "I don't have it now. I
can arrange it in a few days." I need it
now. In 2 hours, I lost the opportunity.
Some things need to be dealt on the
spot, not in a few days.
So, I had a problem. Okay? Solutions
didn't come.
a normal individual, that's where they
lose their faith. That's where they I
don't know if it's true to say that's
where they freak out. That's where the
ground is shaking. They lose their
stability.
>> Equilibrium.
>> H
>> equilibrium.
>> Equilibrium.
Can't sleep well at night. Can't fall
asleep. That problem is like
don't eat well. I can't eat now. I'm
talking big problem right now. Okay,
that's how most people behave. So I
don't go to the problem. For me, going
to the problem is jumping in the fire.
Going to fight something that I can't
fight. That's going head head first.
The right way is not to look for a
solution.
The right way is to bend down
and then the solution comes.
Therefore,
the major act in the holiday of Kanuka
is to
>> please answer that I see that you're
listening.
>> Oh wow.
>> What's the main thing I need to do in
Kanuka?
>> It's dark.
>> What is the main thing? And especially
not saying a mitzvah. What it is a
mitzvah? What is the main thing I need
to do on
>> light?
Right. What are you talking to me right
now? I need to this. I need to that. Why
you being so sophisticated?
>> Way beyond that.
Get a kanukia. Put it next to the
window. Put the olive oil. Light the
kanukia. That's the main thing I need to
do, not to go buy suanot.
Suanot is donuts. It's an idiot that
invented that. You know, it's theim that
invented that. It has nothing to do with
the Torah or anything cabalist nothing.
The suot
why
>> why
>> why they invented that.
I'll tell you when the when the camera
is not on. Now all the viewers are going
to be like, "Excuse me,
the Syot go 200 years back. There wasn't
Sulgy, by the way. That's an Israeli
Zionist invention.
But nevertheless, to kill you with the
with the oil,
but anyways,
and Bmet just for the for for for you to
know the donuts in in Kanuka has no
connection. It's not that because there
was a miracle with oil, so we cook
things in oil, so eat French fries.
Okay,
I if that's the excuse. Okay, the there
was a miracle with oil. So why don't you
rub your whole body with oil? That's
another option. No.
So you're deciding to deep fry donuts
because there was a miracle with oil.
Hey, you know what? I have a better
thing for you. Why don't you do an oil
change to your car? It's a miracle.
Take your car to Jifiloo and change your
oil. Kanuka is here. I mean, you
understand sometimes the stupidity where
people bring you all sorts of customs
and everybody eats it.
Mashma double meaning they eat the gyot.
And I heard explanations. Wow.
The white
isid
Okay. The jam, the red,
the has to be over the when the
Excuse me. Are you kidding me?
The the hell are you talking about?
You're eating a donut. I don't remember
in the Torah anywhere that it says to
eat a donut. It says to eat matzah.
donut.
Ramavo put the jelly in the in the the
the come on
>> just destroyed everybody's
>> you can't even believe what I heard in
regards to why we eating the the donut
and the somebody told me the donut is 40
days in the desert because
from Roshana
till 40 explanations and I was Okay. So,
what's the why the white the sugar the
flower thing? That's the man
that came down.
Okay.
Go eat your donut.
So, there's no no obligation. No,
there's no nothing about the donuts. By
the way, you can make whatever you want.
And I know some people say, "Okay, we'll
cook the we'll fry the the potatoes, the
latkas." Okay, you want to do that?
Fine. It's not the national food of
Kanuka. You can eat whatever you want on
Kanuka. And you're not commemorating any
miracle by eating a donut.
Sorry that I had to express that because
people distort the holiday. It's not
about donuts and it's definitely not
about the the all the junk that you eat.
Dafka actually when you light the you're
not supposed to eat
from till after you light the candles
you don't eat
specifically
it's not about eating it's about
focusing on the light
so I'm sorry I got upset at you before
but the main thing you need to do in
light no don't give me all sorts of
fancy I need to the the darkness, you
need to light the kanukia. That's your
mitzvah.
Besides the physical action of lighting
a candle, which physically you are
lighting a a light, you're bringing
light into the world. But you do a very
simple action that you need to do to
apply while you light the kanukia.
And I know a lot of people will now come
and before I tell you say but I don't
light the kanukia because some people
have the custom
this is usually by Ashkenazi that every
person lights their own kanukia. So you
walk into a home there'll be 10 kanukiot
that's their custom
and to some other ethnic groups or for
example the father lights the kanukia
for the entire house and the guests.
So one might say with what I'm about to
say now but I didn't light the kanukia.
It's not about necessarily the kanukia
action lighting. It's about what Hashem
is trying to explain to you
the right way of lighting a kanukia. By
the way, anyone want to invest in the a
nice kanukia. I shared a story many many
times how I was many years ago
for a long time. We were very very poor.
I was learning in yeshiva we didn't have
money and at some point I started a
business and first year after I had a
little bit of money I needed. I had like
a disposable kanukia. It was
embarrassing. So I went to buy a kanukia
and I put aside x amount of money. I
don't remember $200, $300. When I went
to the store, they showed me. I told
them, "What can $200 get me?" They
showed me kanukiot like baby kanukiote.
I was like, "No, I want something like
this." That's ri was already in
thousands. Anyways, to make a very long
story short, you can find the video
online and I don't remember which video
it is, but nevertheless, I had in my eye
on a certain kanukia and I was like, how
much is that? And at the time it was a
few thousand, which means 10 20 times
more than I was about to that I budgeted
to buy.
And I went outside did a very quick and
I was like why does Hashem give me money
to buy a donut?
No, to buy mitzvot to make mitzvot
beautiful. So I'm not going to eat now
500 donuts and I'm going to pay I'm
going to go for the for the expensive
one. Shem gives me money only to make
mitzvot beautiful because I would buy a
nice jacket and spend a lot of money
when I look good. So don't buy the money
the the jacket. Go and buy the nice
kanukia. And I went completely out of my
way. It was beyond beyond beyond my
budget. But I was so focused that I was
like if I'm already doing the mitzvah I
want it with a nice kanukia. I don't
want some stinky minora because I'm
cheap or because I'm short on money. And
you know what was the miracle that I got
that day? Like an ATM.
I had a business deal that day that the
person was supposed to hire me for X
amount of money. That per that person
not only that that day took whatever
services that I gave four times the
amount. The original price was 3,000.
That day we closed on 12,000. And only
that it opened for me a completely brand
new market and community that end up
resulting in bringing a lot a lot of
money
from one little act that I was like $300
cheapa
or a few thousand beautiful kanukia and
my kanuka is going to be the best
possible and what I actually wanted came
in an indirect way. It brought chef, it
brought blessing. So you don't be cheap
with kanukiot and all that stuff. And
why am I saying that? Because the how
you light the minora is very very
important. Of course you want a
beautiful minora as much as beautiful as
you can and you spend money on that even
though that you use it once a year. Few
years ago I had some uh some money and I
was like you know now I'm upgrading my
kanukia and I bought this beautiful
silver kanuki. Gorgeous. Gorgeous. It's
in our living room sitting there 357
days of the year
cuz only eight days of the year it's
outside on the you know where I light
it. So a whole year it's just sitting
there.
So the beauty of the minor is very
important but how you do it is more
important.
And in order to light the minor the
right way I'm saying same thing
even though I should I should should say
kanukia the manora can be understood as
the seven branches I'll take it back
kanukia with eight branches
where you put it how you locate it how
much oil all this is extremely important
I'm not going to repeat it you can find
it on many of my videos or in any book
of alaka
but there's one significant act that you
need to take to consideration and that's
where we can conclude even though I was
so trying to do a short class I don't
know something's wrong here with it's
like as if I talk fast and the class
becomes long at 45 minutes I was like oh
I'm going to surprise the world 45
minute class it's almost two hours so uh
and then I then people tell me don't
worry yeah we like the long classes okay
uh
how to
where the quantity everything has to be
precise and you got to do it the right
way. But a very important rule is that
you cannot place the kanukia on the
floor.
The kanukia has to be higher than three
from the floor. Is 8 cm.
It's a measurement a biblical
measurement. So one tea is 8 cm in
inches. I don't know what it will be 3
point something. It's irrelevant. It's
about this big. So, it has to be not
less than three from the ground,
but not more than 80.
Okay? So, you have a certain amount
where you want the light to be
positioned. And there's a reason for
that. The three on the floor. And when
I'm saying, it's like me saying three
feet, three inches. It's just a
measurement. Don't don't get locked on
the word. Just imagine a 8 cm
measurement. So three of them that's how
we measure it by the way your fist is
normally a
corresponds to the shalipot
to the three kipot that are impure and
are most powerful that's where they are
so you can't light that can the the the
you can't light that area even of where
the kipot are so we don't even light
them in down there and it has to be
above three and below eight you have to
make sure your light goes in. If you do
it the right way, you know what would be
the result?
That when you come to light the kanukia,
you're going to have to do something.
You're going to have to bend down
in order to light the kanukia. It's not
like in the big kanuki they do in the
street you know kabad in Berlin and
riding some can manora 40 foot you know
these kanuki I'm talking about not
talking about that that's psuma
that's advertising it's not a real
kanuka kanukia lighting way too high
that's only psuma psuma means I'm
advertising the miracle
The world needs to understand that there
was a miracle because the the world will
need the miracles as we need them.
There's a there's no separation between
the nation of Israel and the rest of the
nations when it comes to miracles. If I
need a miracle, they'll need a miracle,
too. That's for sure.
And it's the same Balabite, same owner
that does the miracles.
When I light the candles,
I need to bend down to light the candle.
The explains that everything that I just
told you in the last two hours depends
on one act.
Bending down,
lowering yourself.
The kanukia, we don't light like that.
That's advertising. That's big
sh synagogues in the street.
You light your own. There's no bet
goes like that.
My kanukia. I'm not a coin. I'm not a co
that goes like this to the manora.
I'm a regular individual. My kanukia. I
need to bend down to light it. That's
the right way of doing it.
And again, we're not going into the
right now. And there many customs in and
then window out of the window out of the
house. I we had many classes and I
explained it everybody does what they
want. There's different customs all
accepted as long as they're right and
good.
But the fact is that you cannot have the
kanukia less than three. It's where the
kipot is and it cannot be too high.
Meaning that doesn't matter how
beautiful your kanukia is. In order to
light it, you will need to bend down.
And when you bend down physically, that
needs to bring you to the awareness that
in order for you to achieve anything in
this world, it will require you to bend
yourself down.
That's it.
Anything you want to achieve in this
world will only work if you know how to
bend down.
And I said last week, most of the
problems you just need to dodge the
bullet, right? I quoted the matrix. It's
the exact same thing bending down of
dodging the bullet. Or when I say in
many of my classes, just shut up.
Somebody asked me a few months ago,
how do you have such a good marriage? So
says, "Because I know to shut up."
My wife just walked in. You can ask her.
As big and mighty and strong as I am, I
know when is the right time. Yes, honey.
To shut up.
Doesn't make me less of a line. When I
respect the lioness,
I'm still a line.
And that's one out of many. Shutting up
is not only in front of my wife.
Shutting up to the authority when
needed. You know, I don't shut up to the
authorities,
but when it's needed, shut up. Shut up.
And in all situations,
our sages say,
if you know how to guard your tongue and
your lips and your mouth, you guard
yourself from most of your problems.
>> Yeah.
Which means if you know how to shut your
mouth, then you save yourself from 90%
of your problems because you know your
mouth is you you act back. You answer
back.
Whether it's your spouse, whether it's a
police officer, whether it's a person in
the street,
it doesn't matter. But the reality is
that the second that you open your
mouth, you're you are in a 95%
possibility of a problem.
And sometimes all it takes is just to
Last week I spoke about just moving your
eyes for three seconds.
Same idea. Hold your mouth for 5
seconds. Danger will pass.
That's one of the deadliest tools.
So it's all the same act in a different
definition
as we say in Hebrew. In English it
doesn't sound so good. But in English we
say the same lady with a different
dress.
In Hebrew it rhymes. So,
but everything that I'm saying now is
the exact same thing.
Humbling yourself, shutting up, moving
back. It's all the same thing. You do
the exact same act. The problem is that
we don't know how to do it because I
have ego. I'm right. You can't be right.
I have to be right. doesn't work well if
I'm not right.
Now comes the month of Kisv. The
darkness is thick. Life is getting
harder. A lot of challenges in my life.
A lot of problems in my mind that I'm
challenged with. Money, health,
marriage, relationships, kids,
responsibilities, mortgage. I mean all
day long I have a chaos in my mind. The
darkness increases increases. I think
that if I will do an act or two it will
make any difference and I don't stop for
one second to listen to Rabbi to say
don't complain the complaining is the
whining is the I can't take it is
focusing on the problem
the complaining is focusing on the
problem don't don't think I forgot that
I started telling you that I had a big
problem I didn't finish I don't forget I
just sidetrack a lot but then I reverse
back to where I stopped and could get I
didn't finish telling you that I had a
big problem the other day. The the the
result is very simple. The the the the
solution came by itself yesterday
without me doing anything because I
wasn't focusing on the problem.
Another thing in the same respect
something that we decided that needs to
happen I didn't act on it. I didn't do
nothing. And we just came to the
decision.
3 days later, somebody calls me, begging
me to help them
with what I need to do and that person
calls me. Do you understand how Hashem
works? Or you didn't get the example? I
I know it sounded a little bit. I I
Okay, let me say it again.
I me and a few
individuals in a discerned decision we
decided we need to do to get something
to do something. I didn't even operate
on that. In my mind I was like how am I
going to get it?
Let me think about it in a few days.
A few days pass somebody calls me and
not only offers me what I need, begs me
to help him by by doing that. You're
begging me. I need you.
You came to me from the I don't know
from where you are my solution and he's
begging me. Please, please help. If you
can help me, I'll do this and this and
that. But that's what I need.
Did I stress on this problem? Not even a
split of a second. I didn't even make
one phone call to try to figure out how
we getting it done. And I'm talking
about something big.
Not moving here, this to here. Something
big. And I I didn't even start thinking
how I'm going to solve the problem.
>> I didn't even start I didn't even start
thinking how I'm going to solve the
problem
cuz I didn't even define it as a
problem.
And the solution came
this
the solution.
Yeah. The solution came to a situation
that I didn't even define as a problem
and I didn't have to do anything. Do you
understand how Hashem works? That's why
I'm telling all the time, my life is
like one long miracle. I don't I I see
the problem evolving.
BEFORE I EVEN PULL OUT to to do
something, it's already solved.
You know what I mean?
Hashem says, "You did you didn't even
call me. I answered before you called
me."
And that can only happen in one way.
When you bend down
and the more you bend down,
the more it would work in relationship,
in situations in life, in your spiritual
growth, in all your challenges. That's
the don't complain. It's not about
sitting there like a yakn and whining.
That's not what we're talking about.
There's no problems. And I know you
would like to continue saying there's
only solutions. Not even that. Because
if you are already looking at the
solution means they had a there was a
problem. I don't even look for
solutions.
Because 90% of the challenges or the
situations that I need to take care of,
I didn't create it and I don't solve it.
And Hashem does that. So why do I need
to stress myself with what's going with
the with the with the process?
And that's where it takes a long time to
figure out. But in the Torah, you don't
shoot to the direction of the target.
If that's the target, you shoot there.
That's how it works in the Torah.
Shooting at the target, you focus at a
problem that doesn't exist.
And your mind is occupied with a problem
that doesn't exist that you don't have
to worry about. You don't have to worry
about this issue right now. Your
responsibility is to learn Torah, to go
to pray Mina, to go and do this and then
the situation gets solved. And that's
how 90% of my situations get solved. I
have a situation, I go and help another
person. I have something that needs to
be solved, I go and run to pray because
my mind tells me, "No, no, no, no, no.
You got to do the phone call. You got to
do the phone call. You can't go and pray
now.
Let me do the praying. The phone call
will work itself.
I told you that other a few months ago
we had some legal battle. Somebody was
doing something very wrong and and and
and illegal and it was a
a battle. No, in the courts, how do you
call the legal battle?
>> Lawsuits.
>> The lawsuits.
I don't even know. That's that's what
Hashem does.
The law office
was require of the other side was
required to send a bunch of documents.
The stupid
intern in that office sent all the
documents instead of just some some of
the documents. And in the all the
documents that that irresponsible intern
sent, they basically sent to the court
how they were wrong.
Do you understand what happened here?
It's like an angel came and the paper
was here and the angel did like and put
the angel and the paper on the top that
the intern sent the wrong documents to
the court that is making them look bad.
It's not even making them look bad.
There's a there's a word for that. How
do you say that?
>> Incrim incriminating.
>> Incriminated them. Can you imagine? Can
you imagine the lawyer going crazy from
that intern? What?
And needless to say, whole case switch.
We're out. Victory.
Can this happen in any other way but a
miracle? Can I do such a thing? I can
get now 60 lawyers. It won't work.
Only Hashem can go in to the office and
move the paper to the top of the to the
order that some intern sends sends to
the court the wrong papers.
Now in this world it's defined as a
miracle. Right.
Exactly. Did I do anything? I didn't do
nothing. Did I get upset? Did I lose
sleep over it? Did I get worried? Was I
uptight? How we going to win the case?
Oh my god. I gotta now PRAY FOR 40 DAYS
AND FAST FOR 80 days. What am I going to
do?
WHY, HASHEM? WHY?
I'm such a good person. Why? You know
that everybody does that. I'm such a
good person. Why? That's complaining, my
friend. Instead of complaining, I don't
even look at the situation.
I need to focus on what I need to focus
on. Praying, learning Torah, teaching
Torah, helping people, whatever I need
to do. Let Hashem do the dirty work.
It's not even for me. You understand how
you fail 90% of the challenges that
weren't even directed at you. You got
angry at the noise from the outside.
What? What are you getting angry at?
I can continue now talking till tomorrow
because I know most people don't
understand what I'm trying to say.
You want things to work in your life,
you need to learn how to bend down.
Not bend down to the floor. Bend down it
means to give in to hand over the honor
and the respect to somebody else
to not to be in the spotlight. not to be
the right one even though you are right.
It's all about being right.
When you know how to do all these
things, yeah, you might feel that you
lose
the normal mind. That's by the way the
culture of Greek. By the way, that
teaches you that if I take now $100 out
of my pocket and I give it to a hungry
person, the Greek culture will teach you
that now I'm in a lack of $100. That I
lost $100 on that peasant.
The Torah will come and teach you gave
$100 out of your pocket to another
person that is in need.
Then not only you not a loss at 100, you
are at a gain in a 100 million. You
give, you get quadruple more. Anything
that you're missing in your life, just
give. You want more money in your life,
just give.
Anything that you want more in your
life, just give and you'll get more.
Because when you give, you're entering
your vessel. Now, if this cup is full,
can I get more water? No. So, I need to
drink. Now, it's empty. Now, give me
more.
So I need to constantly give. Then my
vessel is empty. Then I'll get more.
That's it. It's very simple. So Greek
culture will tell you when you give,
you're at the loss. He's using you.
He's taking advantage of you.
Don't do that.
Tua will teach you the more you give,
the more you'll get. You gave one,
you'll give back three. You gave three,
you'll get back 15. That's how it works.
So really the concept of
about not complaining a should be
applied all year long. B it's genius
because when you focusing on what you're
complaining you actually realize that
half of what you're complaining doesn't
need to be complained. Turn around say
thank you to Hashem. Imagine imagine
your child will complain all day long.
Comes home from school.
What's this disgusting smell?
And you're like, that's dinner.
Why is the house so dirty? Why is my my
my my my laundry not ready? Dad, what's
wrong with you? You look so dirty.
Imagine how your child complains all day
long. The bed is not comfortable. My
clothes are not clean. Shut up already.
Plant you in the ground, you spoiled
brat.
Now that's how you sound to Hashem. I
don't have enough money. I don't this.
Why is this? Why? You're whining all day
long. If I was Hashem, I would also be
like, "Shut up already."
So they're not complaining is genius. It
puts you in the right perspective. Look
at yourself. Then you'll make the math
if you need to complain and who to
complain about what. And you'll find
that most of the times you have no place
to complain.
Now, you can only do that with one act
when you know how to lower yourself.
You don't know how to lower yourself,
you'll never get anywhere. And by the
way, the most successful individual in
history
were always they knew how to lower
themselves. I know it sounded like
individual that I said, but the S
slipped on my lip. It's individual.
The top top top figures in history were
always extremely
humble individuals. Mosher Rabenu David
not talking right now
that you can only reach high levels with
humility. Then the humility is knowing
to lower yourself. It doesn't mean that
I'm less. If I lower myself in front of
you doesn't mean I'm you better. And
even if you are better, who cares? I'm
not in a competition. Who's better? He
knows more Torah than me. Okay, good for
him.
Biggest mistake anyone can do. I'm in
non I'm in no competition with anything
about anything.
I should have said with anyone about
anything. Not competing with anyone
about anything in this world.
Why do I need to compete? I mean, it's a
good attribute to be competitive and to
want to win. Don't get that wrong. I
have that full force.
But I don't now dislike someone because
they learned more than me or they're
more smarter or they have more
followers. This is all nonsense.
Nonsense.
True success is only comes from Hashem
and only when you know how to make space
to Hashem. And therefore Kanuka comes
and teaches you something so simple.
Eight days humble yourself. I we were
talking about the whole month to humble
yourself by if you're smart follow that
for the entire year for me that remedy
is not from
till the last night of Kanuka. Every day
every day be aware of your whining and
your complaining.
The other day I drove to next to good
friend of mine the son got married long
drive and with my karma what takes two
hours takes me six hours wrongs GPS
taking me to fim
new under the sun for me to go a very
short distance takes a very long path
but nevertheless I was in the car close
to 4 hours
so when we got there somebody asked me
how long did it take you I said we left
at 1. So he says, "How many times did
you hear when are we there?"
And I was laughing. I said, "My kids are
educ they're not educated. What's the
word? They're they're
>> huc
no educated is more
disciplined. They know I don't take the
dad. When are we there? Shut up.
There's no when are we there?" And one
time when we get into the car, we're
there when we there. So my kids don't
say when are we there? But nevertheless,
can you imagine the poor parents that
has four or five kids in the back? When
are we there? Shut up already. We're
there in two hours. When are we there?
So, you're telling toem all day long,
when are we there?
Just imagine as a as a parent, you have
to deal with an annoying child. Whether
you are the annoying child or you're the
parent dealing with the annoying child,
just relate with that. That that's how
Hashem deals with you. complaining all
day long, whining all day long. Nothing
is good enough.
I need more.
Why don't I get any help here?
Imagine Hashem would just tell you,
"Shut up."
So, if you want to do yourself a favor,
because nobody's going to do that for
you, by the way. Nobody's going to clean
your mess and nobody's going to go work
for you. Nobody's going to provide for
you. You need to do it yourself. Then
the same thing here
says you want things in your life to go
smooth then you need to you need to
invite that light into your life. You
need to bring those miracles into your
life and that's how you do it.
The other day somebody sent me a video
about how the world is going to collapse
and the great reset and everything is
going to collapse soon and the Bitcoin
and the Schmidtcoin and everything and
wow wow what are we doing and 2026 all
the prophets are saying 26 collapse.
So this individual how what should I do
that it's not going to affect me
am I doing anything that it's not going
to affect me I'm with Hashem
nothing will affect me how it's not
supposed to affect me that's it
you are glued to hem
means The day, the day Mashiah will come
when all hell will break loose. Whether
it's the day Mashia comes or a day
before, a year before, it doesn't
matter. The day the fan is going to
start working.
I'm with Hashem.
Something can move me.
How can something move me when I'm with
Hashem?
A thousand will fall from one side,
10,000 from the other side. Nothing will
come to you. Chapter 91 in tim. You read
that every day. You don't believe that.
You read it and you don't believe it.
Then why are you reading it?
I believe that. I believe that
a thousand will fall from here, 10,000
10,000 from here. Nothing will come to
me. Why should I be worried? I'm with
Hashem now. If I wouldn't be with
Hashem, then I have what to worry about.
That's it.
How do you survive the great reset? Be
with Hashem.
Okay. So, how do I survive the great
financial collapse that is coming? Well,
don't buy Bitcoin and be with Hashem.
By the way, you can make a lot of money
in the collapse. So, don't listen to my
advice with not buying Bitcoin. When
things collapse, that's when you buy
everything going down, of course, and
then buying it low.
Somebody was driving me nuts with the
Bitcoin the other day. I said, "Listen,
the the heavy waiters, they don't
they're happy the Bitcoin is down. The
ones who are selling are all the
chickens."
>> Hated.
>> Yeah. The little ones, the big ones are
waiting for it to go down to 5040 to buy
again.
Same thing here. Or do you think the
stock market invest or crypto invented
anything?
If you buy when it's high, you're full.
You buy before the drop.
Same thing. That's how I conduct my
life.
But
going back to what I was saying,
how do you survive all this? You want
everything to be successful. It's only
with you with Hashem. Now I know you
think you're with Hashem cuz you wear
Yamoka and you have a beard and you eat
kosher.
But if you complain
then you're not with Hashem.
And therefore there the recommendation
is don't complain. You are pushing
yourself away from Hashem. Hashem knows
what's good for you. You don't know
what's going on in the right. What looks
not good for you is the path for your
success.
You have to go through certain paths. It
to you doesn't look good, but you're not
the driver. Let Hashem take you. Don't
complain. Don't whine. So it hurts a
little bit. So it doesn't work out a
little bit. So it doesn't work out how
you want. Don't get anxious. Don't get
frustrated. Don't get angry. That's how
Hashem wants it. Don't do all that I
just told you. You have a better mood,
better attitude. But you'll see that the
bumpy way that you took as a struggle
was just there for whatever reason for
you not to look at it as a struggle. And
when you completely ignore it, you see
the solution just came.
I don't run after anyone. The solutions
come to me.
Just the other day, I told you two
scenarios. One scenario, a big
transaction. I didn't even start
thinking how it's going to be done.
Somebody calls me and and the joke is
begs me to help him and I'm like okay
if you pressure I'll help.
I didn't do that of course it's just to
make you laugh but I I was laughing how
I didn't need to do any effort. And on
the other thing that I told you that I
didn't forget the other day there was a
big problem in your vocabulary. In my my
vocabulary, it's not a problem. It's a
situation.
It's a situation that needs to dodge the
bullet. A big problem. And my attitude
as always is just to completely ignore
it.
Listen, if I if I'm bleeding to death, I
don't ignore it. Don't don't distort
what I'm saying. There was a big
problem. I decided to ignore it because
the solution I knew it will be way
beyond what I can handle. I don't I
don't have a solution. And sure enough,
the solution came a few days after
the problem was solved without me doing
nothing. And I attribute to that only
because I didn't complain. Why? How?
Again, now I have to deal with it. There
wasn't any complaints here.
Sometimes somebody asks you to do
something and you exactly sat down. You
took your book with your cup of coffee
or whatever and you're now
I just sat down.
I just took my shoes off.
The point is never to never to complain.
And that's why
tells you if you do that then you'll see
a miracle.
And that's how it works. And he says
that onv because the darkness is very
strong because after the strong darkness
of course comes a lot of light. When do
you activate it? If you were hashem even
if you failed the last three weeks or
you didn't hear about the remedy and
you're just now hearing it you didn't
lose anything. Even if you tried for the
last three weeks and it didn't work for
you or you only heard about it now. It's
not that okay 3 weeks have passed I lost
the opportunity. You start by not
complaining by saying, "I lost the
opportunity." That's complaining for
you. If you said, "I just lost the
opportunity." Well, you complaining
again.
Just say,
"I heard it now." Then I still have 11
days.
You understand how the the attitude
needs to work not only inv the entire
year. Instead of saying I wish I I I I
what a shame I didn't hear. I wasted
three weeks. I failed. Just look at it
by saying
can imagine I wouldn't hear about it at
all.
That's it. I have pain. It could have
been worse. This is the problem. It's
not much of a problem. It can still be
with a solution.
theory what I just said in the last two
hours
practical failure 99% of the times I
know it's not easy but when you
understand the concept and when you
willing to apply and you have the desire
to change
then you'll be able to do that and then
it will be effective
and like I said in the last class the
effort doesn't need to be much. Last
time I said in regards to looking to the
wrong direction, I said the effort is
three. The effort is 3 seconds. This is
the effort
and I just saved myself um 40 g. You
show you saw what I did 3 seconds.
I moved my head down. Can you imagine
you doing that 10 times a day and that
another time 20 times a day that you
just three three seconds don't answer?
I know people hate it. People I they say
something, I just look, they get more
angry. Why don't you answer? You don't
want to hear what I really want to
answer.
Take my silence. It's much much better.
But it works. Count, bite your tongue. I
don't care what you do. It's that the
effort is not big. Now, once you open
the door and the sit is in, the effort
is going to be almost impossible to push
it out.
Therefore, if you understand the
concept, you see the possibility and the
the opportunity
and it's still hard for you, then just
know that now you have eight days. Eight
days to bend down and to light your
kanukia. And by the way, if you are the
ones who are going to tell me, but my
husband lights the kanukia. I go to the
beta to the synagogue. I don't do it.
Then find yourself the right place where
you light the kanukia. That the person
who lights the kanukia, who's
doing it for you too is the right
person. Okay?
If you are obligated in hearing the
migill,
you don't go to some I don't know, I
don't know. I don't know if I could even
an example. You don't go to a place
where they don't read it right because
you don't read it. Now, if you know how
to read it and you do it the right way,
then good. But if you don't know how to
read the migila, then you have to go and
listen. So, you have to choose the best
person that reads it, right? Not the
ones who are reading it on 500
kilometers an hour.
And I didn't understand one word. And on
the other hand, go don't go to the
that's like five hours.
I was stuck in a bikinim a few years ago
in Los Angeles. I never experienced such
such a thing. And it's after a fast.
Usually it's 45 minutes to an hour. I'm
not exaggerating. It was three and a
half hours
like this on my letter. No. Okay. Next
word.
No offense.
every person that's good for you. I
mean, of course, making it funny. So, so
we'll laugh a little bit, but you you
need to hear the megila or to the same
respect, you need to hear the chauffar
when I'm going to go to some chickmok
and don't hear it. Well, I need to hear
it the right way. I'm counting on you.
Whether it's chauffar, migila, whatever
it is, I'm counting on you. Whether it's
even reading hearing the Torah on
Shabbat,
you don't read the Torah on Shabbat. You
are depending on the Qur. And if you are
together with it and your when somebody
talks, sh you need to hear.
Or if the says he who
oh relax.
But you want to hear it the right way.
The ones who are screaming in the back,
they're right. It shouldn't be said he.
It has to be who? You made a mistake in
the Torah. You ruined it for everybody.
You didn't read it right way. The Balor
needs to take back and read the word
again.
But I'm counting on him. So when I'm
going to go to a Bessan when they let a
14-year-old boy read, I can't understand
the word. Or a guy who reads for 50
years. There was one Bessa that I went
to. I don't know why they started
letting a boy read from the Torah on
Shabbat.
I couldn't understand a word. Voice of a
girl, you know. I I I was very
disappointed. At some point, I stopped
going to the to the to the synagogue.
And when somebody told me, "Why aren't
you coming here anymore?" I said, "They
have on Shabbat." A 14-year-old boy
reading from the Torah. Now, if he would
be some talent,
I understand. But he's not, you know, he
wasn't even close to a talent. No
resemblance to any talent. I've been to
some shy boy they read from the Torah. I
never heard anything like that.
One of the nicest story reading I ever
heard from a 14-year-old, 15-year-old be
gorgeous. But the other guy sounded like
Niko
and I don't understand the words. So
what did I do here?
Same thing here. You want somebody to
light for you, then find the right
person to light. Don't go to some nikor.
But even if you don't light it yourself,
Kanuka is the time where you need to
practice the bending down. And when you
know how to bend down, it doesn't make
you less of a person. It actually makes
you a greater person. Not every time you
need to be the right one, the strong
one, the big one.
It's actually makes you a much much much
more better person when you make
everybody bigger than you. And
everything that I'm telling you is all
funneling to the same letter that I've
been telling you for years. Just follow
that little letter. Your life will be
different. You'll serve Hashem in a
completely different way. All that I'm
saying now, it's all for
where he says straight out, humble
yourself and and he will and Hashem will
rise you.
So you're not losing anything when
you're humbling yourself. Not in front
of your wife, not in front of your kids,
not in front of anyone.
And the more you see everybody greater
than you, the more you become greater
than everybody else, by the way,
because that's my attitude. I look at
every person and I can very quickly say,
"I'm much better and pull up a long list
of what I'm much better than you."
But that's arrogant. On the other way, I
pull out a long What can I learn from
you?
>> No, exactly. Well, you said it
different.
>> You said what can I learn from you? I
look at what are you there? What are you
better than me? You are you are probably
much better than me in many things that
I'm not. Then I'm good at A, B, and C.
You are much better than me in many
things.
So you said it the other way around.
What can I learn from you? It's the same
exact thing.
Same thing with Torah.
I've learned from all my teachers. David
says
from the good, from the bad. David took
advice from a wicked individual, but he
learned from him, too. I learned from
everybody. And you can only learn if
you're not arrogant. It doesn't mean you
need to affect you. But I learned from
everyone. I learned from stupid people
also how not to behave.
I'm not joking.
>> Yeah.
But the but the point here and this is
not that topic I'm talking about from
I always look at a person that he's
better than me. That's what he says in
the Raman. If you're richer than him
then he you if you he's richer than you
then you have to respect him. If you're
richer than him then you have to seem
like he has the over you. And that's the
right attitude to look at any person not
where is he better than me. He is better
than me in other aspects. I cannot find
one person in the world that I'm better
than everything. And probably can, but
it's not the point. It's the it's the
idea.
Now, when you have that thought, every
person is great in your eyes. Whether
they're good or bad, it's irrelevant.
They're bad people. Just move away from
them. You don't have to hate them or
fight them. I don't hate any other
person. you're not good for me. I am not
going to live in Iraq. They're not going
to like me there.
So, I just don't go there. But I don't
hate them.
I don't hate the Iraqian people. I never
met them. I don't care. Let them live
their life and leave me alone. I don't
hate another person so I don't look at
another person down.
That's that's the key. All the last two
hours
bending down. It's all funnels down to
the same thing. You know how to bend
yourself down.
Everything in life will be smoother.
Everything will be more successful. By
default, things will happen that you
will relate to them as miracles because
it will never happen. Why did you do
that? Because you made space for the
light to shine by humbling yourself. You
don't, you don't complain. You don't
whine. You just have gratitude to
Hashem. Just imagine how it sounds to
Hashem when you whine. Now, I'm not
talking about when you pray to Hashem,
what you need, please, Hashem, I need
Yeshua, I need this, I need to find a
wife, I need. That's not whining. That's
praying.
Don't confuse between the two. Praying,
you need something, go and pray for
that.
But not in a whining way, by the way.
and not and and most people whine to
Hashem. Why? And I tried and it didn't
work.
Change the attitude to grateful and
appreciation and you'll see you whine
much less. But the point you want to
take from that to conclude besides that
I'm telling you go to.org/kanuka
to learn everything that you need to do.
Don't miss the eight days. It's eight
days and when you light the kanukia the
organ is revealed. You won't see it but
it will affect you. You sit next to the
kanukia. Look at the candles for half an
hour. Don't think of anything else. Just
think. You don't think. Meditate on the
light. That's it. Just invite this light
to cleanse you, to clean you. But take
the advantage of the eight days that you
can bring on you this power that allows
you to see that you're not God's gift to
the world. And even if you are,
everybody needs to shine. Everybody
needs their moment of fame. And when you
know how to move aside, that's when you
invite all the blessings to your life.
And I can't even stress how many times I
moved aside and I saw right away
blessings. You know how many times I was
invited as the main speaker and some
other rabbi came and and in a in a
setting that I just moved aside. No, go
ahead. you you you take the stage I
don't need to shine
and that's one example out of many
when you move aside nothing bad can
happen from that don't and moving aside
is you know you you give you give in
your honor your respect and it doesn't
mean that you allow somebody to
disrespect you don't don't mix between
the two it's fine lines between
definitions
giving in and humb Humbling myself is
not letting somebody disrespect me.
That's to two different things. If that
person in their behavior is pointed at
me in disrespect, I don't need to b bend
down besides what needs to be done here.
You disrespect me, I don't do anything.
I move aside.
So you disrespect the air and then you
get nothing out of me because I moved. I
don't get angry when you disrespect. I'm
not looking for respect.
I don't let your disrespect pull me to
anger or anything like that. So it all
boils down to the same thing.
Bending down like you bend down to your
child, child talks, you bend down, you
pick him up. It never hurts. You only
going to be the winner. The bending down
is the giving in and not complaining and
and shutting up and moving aside. It's
so many things together. But when you
know how to apply that,
really what you do is you're just making
a lot of space for a lot of light to
shine. That's it. Because when you do
the opposite, you fill in the void with
the darkness. Arrogance, hate, anger,
it's all darkness. It's all fed from
darkness. So you surround your life with
darkness. So things don't work out.
Doors of opportunity close in your face.
Things don't flow well. People aggravate
you. You are aggravated. You are
impatient. You are not in a state of
peace
and it's like a whirlpool gets worse and
worse.
So at the end of the day, you're only
helping yourself and it can only work if
you're able to do that is making space
for the rest of the world to operate.
Therefore, the remedy that he says is
just don't complain. I know it sounds
like don't complain. I think I explained
that a little bit. I wanted it to be a
short class. It ended up being a very
long class. Whoa.
Almost three hours.
We'll cut it into part one, part two,
part 18.
Uh
so now it's only left to apply and you
are the only one who can do it. Nobody
will do it for you. That's where Hashem
is telling you, you need to do something
under the umbrella of not complaining
and not whining. You need to do
something and when you sometime want
something to work in a very particular
way and to be successful then your act
has to be in a level of nephesh you have
to give something up that's how it works
the makabim they won the war how can
five men win a whole army because the
act that they did was
life sacrifice giving in I'm sacrificing
whatever it is right Now since they did
this act going way beyond what they can
handle it's called nephesh that I put my
life on the line then you activate a
miracle in that level that you win an
army but anything that you need a
miracle in your life has to be nephesh
you need three four five years you can't
make money you have to do one act where
you nephesh it doesn't matter what it is
right now same with them with anything
in your life. You can't find your other
half for many many years. You need to
get you need some big big thing may have
even here am
you need to give in something in a level
that you are bringing the same type of
energy on you.
So the makabim were able to do that with
winning a war and many other situations.
All depends the level of your nephesh.
If it's the hardest thing for you to
wake up in the morning and you need
something moving in your life, then you
you wake up at 4:00 in the morning in
the freezing cold where you can barely
go out of the bed and you shle yourself
down to the mikv ice cold mikv and you
dip in and it's hard and it but
you give you you you're you saying I
could have slept till 9. I could have
gone to the tan mik where it's hot
there. Not to the mikqu where it's ice
cold.
I could have prayed at 9ine in a nice
minan where they give bas and and roalak
cup of coffee. Why why torture myself at
4 in the morning?
It's all what you do. I can go to the
same do the same thing. go and pray at
nine and go to a mikvah. I'm not joking.
sons, they heat the water, the mikvah is
warm. And I can do the exact same thing
and going to the mikvah at 4:00 in the
morning freezing cold and praying nets
and not sleeping 9 hours, sleeping four
hours. Same shar same
way. One is one is lazy or not even
lazy, just a little more laidback. The
lazy one actually will pray at 12.
Not going to mention in which synagogue
you know where
no there he did the job no
and that can be with anything
you want something
you need to give the exact same weight
of what you're demanding or expecting.
That's it. No other ways of doing it.
You want something big, you need to come
to the table with a big offer. You
cannot come and buy a $100 million
property and come with a box of bananas
and says that's my offer.
There's no connection.
Maybe you offer $99 million. I'll
consider the offer. You bring me
bananas.
You want money. You want to get married.
You want to know the Torah. You want
miracles in your life. Then what did you
do the last 10, 15, 10, 5 years? What do
you do? What do you do? You demanding
miracles. No,
but what do you do? What do you offer?
You want something big, you have to
offer something in the same magnitude.
Then it's going to work. You need to do
your calculation. What's that level
you're willing to give of what you want
to to get? And the path to it is the no
complaining is kind of what I just said.
In other words, no demands.
Hashem,
whatever you want to give me, I'm fine
with.
That was my attitude in the last 20 plus
years. Hashem, whatever you give me, I'm
fine with. When I wanted to get married
and I went to the matchmaker and I want
to find a woman, a wife, what are you
looking for? I said, a woman.
No. No. What? What? What are you looking
for? That was pretty clear the first
time. A woman.
Personality.
I don't care. How does it How does she
look? No. As long as I'm attracted,
that's it.
No demands. I said, "Whatever Hashem
designed for me to be a wife, that's
what I'll take. The woman that I want
doesn't exist.
I stop looking for that woman cuz it's
an imaginary woman.
I'm looking for the woman that God
thinks is the best fit for me.
I know in the beginning I'll fall in
love with her and then that rest of the
20 years she'll just annoy me to death,
but that's the woman that I need to grow
spiritually with.
That's it. And I'm exaggerating. My wife
doesn't annoy me to death. She's an
amazing woman. I'm just saying I'm
talking to paint the situation.
I choose a a wife. Whatever Hashem
decides to give me, I'm I'm going to be
grateful and happy. And if I find things
in this woman that annoys me, I am the
issue, not that woman,
which means that she's perfect. I'm the
the the defected item.
That's it. That's the attitude. when I
was looking to get married 20 plus years
ago. So, some matchmaker matched me up
with some lady to go out on a date
and uh
same thing. And this woman was with a
child, divorce. I was young, you know,
normal normal men were like, I need to
marry now a divorced woman with a child.
I I'm a kid myself. I don't need a
divorced woman. That's the attitude of
most people. But the attitude was like,
if that's my future wife, then she'll
come with a lot of baggage. If she's my
real wife, she'll come with a lot of
baggage. She can't come with a little
bit of baggage if she's my wife.
So therefore, I'm giving you this
example because I never had
expectations. Not with a wife, not with
business, not with where I'm going to
live. I know what Hashem wants for me.
I mean, you want to have dreams and
aspirations, but whatever Hashem
defines, that's what you're going to
get. and be happy with what Hashem gave
you because he gave you the best
and Hashem wraps his presents not nice.
He wraps it with a newspaper.
Wraps presents with a lot of glitter and
a lot of like fancy wrapping and bells
and Oh, and then you open and you see
nothing in there.
That's everything nice.
The Greek everything nice,
shiny.
Hashem wraps everything with a like this
that when you see it on the floor, you
don't even bend down to pick it up. But
that's where the gem is. Think Hashem
wraps the gems with
beautiful glitter paper. No, it wraps in
dirt.
Which brings the same act when you bend
down. That's when you see that's where
can you find things.
So the lesson you want to take is a your
success
is depending on how humble you are.
That's where Hashem wants you to grow.
All the paths and all the books that we
learn is to teach you how to refine
yourself. And the highest level of
refinement is
is being humble. You can refine yourself
with being kind and being polite, being
charitable, being courteous, being
patient. Oh,
all this is amazing. But the top top top
top top midak characteristic is
that's why Mosher Rabenu
the most humble person in history
and his humility
brought him to a level that he spoke
with God face to face.
Even Mashiach won't be a prophet like
Mosher Rabenu. By the way, Mashiach in
wisdom will be much more smarter than
Mosher Rabeno. But in prophecy,
that's the Torah. Which means that
Mashiach won't be in prophecy greater
than Mosher Rabeno.
Mosher spoke to Hashem.
That's humility. And by the way, Mosher
Raenu was smart, rich, strong, wealthy,
everything. He had all the credentials
to be the most arrogant person in the
world. But he was the complete opposite.
Now what brought him all his success is
his anava.
In any encounter the Torah has about you
see his approach with
Hashem reveals himself in the burning
bush. Go take the Jews out of say there
much better leaders.
No no no you can do it but I have an
older brother. Let our older brother do
it.
any other person would be like I'm going
to become the VIP. Yeah, yeah, I'm going
to become the president. Yeah, yeah, I
want to. Moshin was like, "No, no, no. I
don't need this headache."
But he didn't have the attitude of I
don't need this headache. He had the
attitude of but my brother is older than
me. He's smarter than me. He's more
successful than me. He's the right
person. Same thing with David.
When is when when
toai and went through all the boys of
David
didn't COME AND SAY WHAT ABOUT ME?
YEAH. The story says that he was in the
field. Field means he was in a place of
humility in a place of simplicity in a
place of pashoud. He wasn't in the field
down there raping the the the the the
tomatoes. He was in a place of humility.
He didn't said to, "Hey, what about me?"
He didn't even say that when the oil
didn't go out. Then when Shu was like,
"Do you maybe have another son? It's not
working on all these guys."
But it's not that David was hidden
somewhere. He was right. He was there.
He just he was in such a level of
humility says if it didn't work for
them, why would it work for me?
And sure enough, from that level of
the oil will turn on him. He's the
Mashiach.
You want success in your life. You want
peace in your life. You want to be
walking on the path that God designed to
you.
Even if it's a little bit bumpy,
but it's the God the path that God
designed to you
which is the successful path for you.
Then it's all about you knowing how to
humble yourself, not to answer Hashem,
not to complain, be grateful for
everything, all the disasters. Instead
of whining and losing your hope and
temper,
only thank Hashem and not a fake thank
you. I don't like the thank you Hashem.
Became very popular since that song came
out. If you're doing it genuinely, good.
A lot of people it's a slogan. Thank
you, Hashem. No, be truthful. Thank
Hashem. Really, I thank Hashem 500 times
a day because I see how he's just moving
everything. I don't do much.
Somebody other day I spoke to him and I
told him about Chuva. You He's like,
"You look like you were born into it." I
said, "No, no, Chuva 20 plus years ago."
He looked me up a little bit on his
phone. He's like, "Woo, you came a long
way.
Yeah, you put effort, you go far.
So, uh,
what did he tell me?
He told me, uh,
it's hard to see you about chuva. He's
like, no, he told me you make it look
easy.
I say I make it look easy because it is
easy. I don't put any any effort. You
put too much effort is the concept of
you try to grab too much at one point
you don't end up having anything. Grab
10 oranges like this you can carry them.
Try to grab 15 20 put one more orange on
the pile everything falls.
When you try to grab too many things you
only have two hands. You can only grab
here and put mount in your mouth. How
much can you grab? When you grab more
than your capacity, you lose everything.
Same thing here. Why are you putting too
so much effort? You need to put little
effort. You need to put the right
effort, not not a quantity. Why are you
going crazy? It's little and right
effort that does the job. That's it. And
then it looks simple. It's not, but it
looks. And that's the summary of three
hours that I wanted to give over in half
an hour. But you have an opportunity
from today. Even if you missed the
remedy for the last 19 days, 20 days to
be exact.
If you missed it, you didn't hear, you
only heard now, you didn't apply. Okay,
you have another 10 days. That's the
first stop not to complain. Don't
complain that you lost two weeks. 10 20
days.
Be thankful and appreciative that you
have another 10 days. Imagine you would
hear the video a day before the end. You
only have one day.
which you can't do much in in one day.
And by the way, for the ones who failed
or didn't listen on time. Yeah. The the
the
remedy from the rabbi is from first day
of till the last day of
do that every day in your life. The
remedy will work every day. Put that in
the front
focus of your life. Not to complain, not
to whine, not to look at the bad, look
at the positive. Be grateful. Seek for
the positive in all the bad situations.
Look where you can shed light in the
dark situation.
Do all this on a regular base. Your life
will be operating like a miracle.
Everything will be miraculous. And I am
the proof. I testify that I do that. I'm
not teaching you fake
advice.
I learn, I apply, it works. Now you do
it. So you can come and say but it works
for you. I'm not different than you in
any way. If I was able to apply it, you
can apply it exact same measure and
probably more.
That's it. Problem solved.
And then you see how life just works
out. And your challenges. I don't take
all these background noises as my
challenges. My challenges is only
if I was on time for prayer, how focused
I was on the prayer, how much today I
learned Torah, how much I was focused on
the Torah,
whether I learned half an hour but very
focused or four hours and I don't don't
my challenges is my spiritual growth
because the second that you stop walking
and start going back
like a treadmill. You walk and it's hard
and you want it to be more more workout
then make the treadmill harder and you
make the treadmill go up but the second
that you stop the motion of walking the
treadmill
right
so you can't stop walking
the only thing I recommend is just rem
reduce the intensity but the second you
stop walking you start going back so my
challenge challenges all day long is how
I maintaining like a marathon runner
pace good pace not don't don't tire
yourself out
sometimes you can't do it too too much I
had periods in my life that I would
learn 12 14 hours a day Torah
like can't move me from the book some
days half an hour that's it capacity
reached the top I can't right now I have
other obligations I have other things to
do.
So
it works. You need to apply it. The key
is very simple to understand. Very hard
to put it in in the lock. But I can
guarantee to you that anyone can do
that. Now again, it doesn't mean your
whole life now all problems solved.
It will definitely remove 80 to 90% of
the issues. It will make life that there
might be the challenges stay the same
but you won't stress over it. You won't
worry over it. Solution will come quick
without you bending over backwards.
Sometimes you go in circles 3 months
looking for a solution when the solution
is right in front of you sitting right
in front of you which if you would only
do what you're supposed to do you would
found the solution 3 months ago.
That's it.
Enjoy the light of Kanuka. It's a very
rare opportunity that eight days this
hidden light is shining just sitting
next to it with no arrogance. You will
be abs you will absorb this light.
There's an order of prayers what we need
to do when we light the candles. Go
tomud.org/kanuka
what you need to do in what order how to
read what to read. It takes time but
it's much better than Instagram and
Facebook and and WhatsApp and all the
rest of the junk. Invest that good hour
next to the candles. I would say half an
hour looking at the light, half an hour
reading. While you're looking at the
light, that's when all the that's when
I'm thinking where can I get better?
Where can I become a better teacher, a
better husband, a better father? I want
to become a better Jew, a better
learner. Where can I refine myself?
These little things I need to refine. I
want to be more here more. Why? Because
the organ has the power of healing,
power of everything. So that's the
perfect time for you to make all your
chuva. You nourish from that light and
half an hour read when you read the
order of what the mikubim are telling us
to read
that you you I gave a lot of classes
explaining on that you open all the
gates of shea of abundance. You you
really reaching to an opportunity that I
know it sounds like a cliche but it's
once a year. You're not going to get the
light of kanuka till next year. And what
you can achieve on Kanuka you can take
it with you for the rest of the rest of
the year. The whole concept of is
we have come to kick out kick away the
darkness. It's not even that. It's not
even kick out. Means to really throw out
to push out. You kick somebody out.
That's deportation.
We came to kick out the darkness.
The whole fight with the darkness for
the rest of the year. You're getting now
the power. You're coming with light. The
light of Hashem. Everything that is dark
in your life, you you overpowered with
darkness.
And uh don't think that you do that and
the whole world will smile at you. The
whole world is dark. There a fraction of
people in this world that are light.
That's it.
Most people are fed from the darkness.
They're part of this.
Don't be affected by that. Don't don't
be disappointed.
Not everybody can see the light. But you
need to do the good in the eyes of
Hashem. And I be recommend take this
holiday to the maximum. It doesn't have
much restrictions. It's a regular day.
You can work prayan
that you can hear the Torah every day.
We're reading
the inauguration of the tabernacle. It's
affecting your in many ways. We read
don't miss these things. I know it's
that's where the
pray later on.
Wake up hard.
Rip yourself out of the bed. Wake up.
Pray nets. Go to the mikvah. Do do the
little things on Kanuka. Don't light the
kanukia at 9:00 at night. I'm waiting
for Uncle Sammy.
No, light it up the time it needs to be
lit up. Uncle Sammy has a problem if
he's late.
It has to be lit up right after you
pray. Right at the That's when you light
it. Don't wait. Now, listen, I'm
exaggerating. A guest is coming from far
away, you wait. I wouldn't wait, but
come on time next time. I don't move by
time of lighting the candles cuz
somebody's late or something. You don't
you have a problem. Make it on time or
go somewhere else. But take it serious.
Do
that you go beyond your capabilities,
beyond what makes sense to you, beyond
what you can handle
that I'm willing to give my life for
this to work.
And you'll tap into this hidden light to
this. It will affect you in a very
positive way. No doubt. Every year I do
the same. Then every year Hashem throws
a garbage bin at me. Full garbage. The
whole day. I'm telling you, the whole
last three weeks it's like a it's it's a
joke. It's actually funny to see it. How
everything
seems like it's not working
and everything is in a limited
restricted way. You know what it is?
Back pains for two weeks. I can't barely
walk. Pain all the time. Get up. Sit
down.
I can focus on that and then I empower
that and I feed that or I can completely
ignore it and be thankful that now I'm
only dealing with a little bit of bad
pain or a car accident, heart attack
or how that can come. It's only a little
bit of pain I can handle. I've been
through worse so it hurts a little bit.
You know there are men and women who sat
in dark tunnels chained in cages for two
years by kamas terrorists imam and I'm
going to complain on a back pain
every time I have something that is
uncomfortable in my life. Well that's
what I did for the last two years. I
just thought of the hostages.
I have a toothache. They don't even have
a dentist.
Do you know what they went through
there? And you you complaining cuz
you're cold or your shoes ripped or you
have a back pain. Put things in
proportions, my friend.
That's the attitude. Now, when this
becomes your nature,
then your energy, the flow is so
positive and so clear. You can only
invite good things on you. You attract
light. You don't attract darkness. You
manufacture darkness, you will attract
darkness. So you will attract the people
who create this darkness for you. But
when you're manufacturing light with
everything that I just said and we
learned in the last three hours, you
attract the right people. You attract
the light to you. That's it. Call it the
miracle. I call it the miracle because
it's a miracle for you to to
>> It's not a miracle. Hm.
>> It's not a miracle. If you
>> Exactly. That's why I said you can call
it a miracle, but it's not a miracle.
You just behaved how the Torah told you
to and by default you attract the light
to you. Very simple.
So, take advantage of the opportunity of
the holiday of light. There's a lot of
information on my website, other places.
Learn the learn what needs to be done.
It's a very simple holiday.
Don't waste your time on the donuts and
the nonsense. See, that's what the tries
to get you off the focus.
And I know it sounds like, what? A whole
hour? I need to sit next to the candles.
No, go hour.
You sit one hour next to the candles.
It's going to save you from sitting
hours, hundreds of hours
>> in doctor's lines, in bank lines, in
lines everywhere.
One hour you sit next to the candles
without your phone. It will save you
hours
of sitting in lines in places you don't
want to sit. Courtrooms.
Trust me.
I know the yet right away tells you it's
a waste of time. Do the short version.
I rather sit an hour in front of the
candles than sit an hour or two or four
or 20 in a courthouse, in a police
station, in the municipality, in beti,
in the social security, in katim, in the
doctor.
>> I don't go much to the bank, but when I
do go, never have I stood in line when I
go to the bank. And I send sometimes
whether it's my assistant, my wife, go
to the bank. You go. No, I'm busy. No,
but you when you go, you come back in 10
minutes.
My wife goes to the bank, comes back
after 3 hours. Where were you?
I go in, out. So, she tells me that,
well, that's the not not fair. You're
VIP. You walk in, everybody come, come.
I'm no VIP. I walk in places people
don't know me. I don't wait in lines
because I waste my time on valuable
things. So that time cannot be taken
away from me on standing in a line for 2
hours like this.
Not that I commute much, but I'm barely
in traffic. When you're held traffic in
line, all that means you're wasting your
time when you're supposed to do other
things. So now when you want to do other
the right things, your time is being
wasted.
That's my my advice to all men in the
morning. Pray the long prayer in the
morning. Pray early. You'll be much less
in traffic when you go to work because
you didn't waste your time in the
morning.
You didn't do the right thing in the
morning. You'll waste your your time
will be wasted in traffic for two hours.
You need to know that's know when to
give. You think you're losing. You're
not losing my friend at all.
You gave now $1,000 the donation. You
think you lost. You didn't lose
anything, my friend. You opened now the
opportunity to make 10,000.
That's how it works.
So now the opportunity as you can see I
cannot stress enough what you can
achieve next week. Starting Sunday night
all the way till next Monday. 8 days
every day we increase the light. Same
prayer, same kanukia.
Learn what you need to do. You you in a
place where you can change your your
life completely. And I'm not joking. I'm
not exaggerating. I'm telling you, I've
been in places in my life that a strong
decision like this was taken and life
was shifted completely different
direction
and sometimes it was overnight. It's not
not doable. You need to believe in that.
You need to understand that it can be
done and then you need to apply. You do
all that you'll you'll invite many many
miracles into your life. You'll trigger
a lot of miracles.
But the key here is you need to humble
yourself. You need to know how to bend
down. And that includes everything that
I just said in the last three hours.
Master that you'll be very successful.
And it doesn't mean you're going to be
now a millionaire. People think success
is millions. I told you many times the
definition of success. Successful in
your journey getting close to Hashem. If
you need to have money, Hashem will give
you as much as you need. If you need to
be successful, a scholar, healthy,
you'll get what you what you're supposed
to get. And you are the one who can
restrict it. Most people are pushing
back their baka, their wife, their
money, their success.
But once you are good with Hashem,
you'll get what you what you're supposed
to get in an abundance. Hashem only give
things in abundance.
It's like, you know, when you come and
pour like a, you know, a drink to
another cup and the guy who pours a
little bit of drunk,
Hashem pours to you.
You're the one who is like, "No, no, no,
I don't want to."
So, when I'm telling you, you'll see a
significant change in your life. It's
not the next week somebody will call you
and tell you won $500 million in the
lottery, but you'll wake up in the
morning more energy, more focused,
happier, more determined, more uh uh
what's the word?
Hopeful is a good word. I was more about
to say more confident that you can do
it. You wake up, most people wake up in
the morning,
can barely push themselves to brush
their teeth. You need to wake up in the
morning every day like as if it's the
day that you're going to pick up the
$500 million check that you won.
>> You don't sleep the night before.
>> That's what I was about to say.
>> The day that you're going to pick up
that Ferrari that you ordered, you don't
sleep the night before.
That's after you have to wake up every
day. I am going to wake up. I'm throwing
myself out of the bed cuz I'm going to
get that
wish I was waiting all my life. That's
how that's the attitude
>> today for us.
>> Yeah,
>> we we came to see you.
>> But that's the attitude
>> and that that's how I measure success
that my mood is different. I'm not
angry. I'm not weak focused. Then you
just slowly slowly just attract all good
things and by default you push all
negative things. So as I mentioned a few
times I can talk and talk and talk. It's
already 3 hours 10 minutes and 42
seconds of many words.
So,
>> so I'm going to take the opportunity to
wish everybody a happy Kanuka
>> and may Hashem fill your life with
miracles and may Hashem do the ultimate
miracle that you will be able to fulfill
your life with miracles and find a place
of h humility and in front of the world
and that Hashem should bring you to the
place where you handle your own path and
may all be blessed by Hashem with great
paras.
and health. There's a lot lot of special
prayers on Kanuka that I highly
recommend to focus. I'm not going to
continue now. Watch it on the go to
the.org/kislev
and kanuka because very briefly on the
fifth night of Kanuka
is very it's the night for the all the
singles. Fifth night of Kanuka there's a
certain prayer for singles.
All the mubalim explained I'm not going
to explain why now you can find all my
website remember fifth night of kanuka
that's for singles on the 28th of kisv
uh very very special
prayer and a veryious time for
for tikun for parasal but specifically
for tikunim that are not so easy to do
whether it's tikun and many other things
28 of kisv you can remove like 90% dirt
from the pipe with that prayer and we
all need this tonim because we all it's
mainly for tikun okay to make it simple
I don't want to make the video more
longer than it is every time you you sin
in karet we all sin in karet then that's
the time to do the tikun 28th of kisv
there's a certain prayer and then we
have which falls on shabbat this year
and Sunday we have kanuka every day
there's like so kanuka is bombarded with
>> every day better than the other. So
follow all the the videos. I'll post
everything. Take advantage of that.
Shem should light your life with the
light of and you should only find true
joy, happiness, and success in your
life.
Shem should bless you that you'll be
able to do it yourself and not to whine
that you couldn't do.
Happy my friends.
