🔹Empowered; Not Frightened🔹 Here’s to hoping that this 2-week series of clips will inspire and motivate our community members to become part of the solution. Rabbi Harts are you saying that Shu
night is a a highrisk time for abuse and
what do you base this
on so the answer is yes I do believe
that it's a high-risk time I would
say t and Sh night are among the
highrisk days of the
year why because things are less
structured there's less supervision
and if we've learned anything at all
about the way abusers operate it's that
they're always
probing and looking for
weaknesses they look for weakness in the
supervision of Children and Families in
schools in
communities in fact they go through an
extensive process to see which children
they could possibly
abused
so I'm not saying this in a morbid way
that sh is a highrisk time but I
absolutely
believe that it is and we should be
empowered to put our heads together and
think about what we can do to make it
much safer for
children that's what we're going to be
talking about this week and next week I
want you to feel empowered to do
something about it
