and so as we know you know hashem created the whole world with words and there's a tremendous creative power and words particularly in the original hebrew just hearing the hebrew saying the hebrew words even if you don't know what it means it's got a power to it um and uh so before shabbat one of my great rebbies rav david weinberg who i know you're going to have to meet personally brandon do you know him do you know david weinberg i feel like you get out there no ryan anyways he sent me uh this recording that had just come down to him literally he said i just got this from above and i wanted to send it to you it was like this download that hashem sent him and when i listened to it well it was the most beautiful expression of these 10 history changing words that i had ever heard it was just so beautiful and i just never heard them like that before so it's raw it's not like produced but i just wanted to share it with you so here's the song [Music] foreign [Music] hey [Music] is [Music] is [Music] is [Music] the god [Music] i really think i can never hear those words the same again um is it okay i know a lot of you may not speak hebrew just i'm looking at your face and now is it okay that i play hebrew songs does it does it does it does touch you right it has to i mean it just even if you don't know what it means there's something about it the torah is just meant to be sung you know it's like the difference between seeing something in two dimension and then three dimension or between black and white in color like i have said those words so many times but to hear the word sung the torah is meant to be sung it's our song it's the song of our souls and so i reached out to him and i asked him if i could play his song on our fellowship and he sent me a response i just i wanted you to hear his response because i've you know this is my favorite thing about the fellowship is like the show-and-tell i can't wait for you to meet him personally but you'll hear who he is just in his voice so i said can i play your song on our fellowship and this was his response shalom my dear anything that brings joy to other human beings and increases their love of the land of erits israel and their appreciation for the fact that hashem bestowed it to abraham through the lineage of isaac and jacob uh is wonderful by me you're so sweet i uh i miss you i would love to see it let's come out to the farm i have to come out uh to give a to sing some songs just to hang out go for a bike ride can we just pray for a moment hashem please please please open up the gates open up the gates and provide everybody here with the ability to come to the hills of judea so we can be together and pray together and learn together and experience your shrina and the world together in a way that we never have before it's it's not me that i feel like you you know i'm i feel in some way i'm like the gatekeeper i i want you to meet the david weinbergs there's just i just they're so holy and and you know i think the reason i played his response is because when i heard it i realized there must have been some reason that hashem channeled such a beautiful melody for those words through him because in those words he was expressing what differentiated avraham from noah and from all the others that he understood that the deepest expression of love for hashem is bringing joy to other human beings not just other jews avraham avinu wasn't wasn't partisan like that you know as a matter of fact many say that the greatest challenge avraham faced was the commandment of circumcision and it's not because of the physiological pain of it for avraham that was nothing but rather that the commandment of circumcision was a manifestation of that shift in in a primary facet of his life's mission from universal to particular right until then his mission was to bring knowledge and love of hashem to the entire world but after the circumcision he shifted to also building this particular tribe this nation who would be entrusted with that global mission but it was a shift for him and it was very difficult as the masks are coming off and much of the world is turning not only against israel but yes against the jewish people if you feel different if your love for israel is growing deeper and stronger if you're thirsting to cleave to the nation of israel and to the god of israel if you're thirsting to learn authentic torah from jews in judea then the land of israel fellowship is for you hundreds of individuals and families from around the world come together on zoom every week in what can only be described as a fellowship of love friendship of learning and praying and belonging a fellowship really unlike any other it's more than just a movement it's a family to learn more about the land of israel fellowship click on www.thelandofisrail.com backslash fellowship or send an email to fellowship at the land of israel.com love and blessings from judea you
