see that evil is before your faces the last few words that is what we're going to deal with and I always always wondered myself what exactly do those words mean what is Pharaoh saying see that evil is before your faces I get it that he does not want to relinquish this great nation property that he owns they're his slaves they're worth money um at the same time this is uh this is towards the end right this is not um this right pares Bo is dealing with the last three of the plagues so it's not the beginning uh it's already been quite an event to to say the least for pharaoh and for Egypt yet he doesn't want to really see them leave so I'm thinking to myself what is he saying that something bad is going to happen to you is that what he's saying what is he I don't I don't understand at all specifically to protect the Jewish people by doing the that was one of the ways to protect the Jewish people from anything bad happening whether it would be uh mortally mortally wounded or or or not that's also why he used the word to strike at least that's talking about the people who were actually leaving Egypt and going and if that's the case Pharaoh is using words from the Tanakh from 2 Samuel 1116 he was saying you know your own words are answering or testifying against you as if Pharaoh was saying you do need to fix some way to redirect the the power of that U star that is perhaps going to cause pestilence or Devastation of some kind with the sword this can only be fixed through the men and Pharaoh was trying to actually say see only the men should go leave the women and lot more background how we should live our lives the more that we cling to hasem the more we cling to his Mitzvah and his will and are obedient and have faith then we really have nothing to fear and
