little bit um Health business and happens to be that events planners for he went on to the corporate world and good never knew that okay know it in London in London is do a a full-time job in London is a part a parttime job doing America right to be events in London believe it or not it's the English mentality right um I was looking into opportun the industry a few jobs lined up be more than happy office project get projects events real estate nursing homes Healthcare come on V we [Music] slowly slowly slowly and at some point I realized that every time I try to like look for something else 2016 2017 2017 beginning of 2017 I was looking it just didn't [Music] work the future because at the end of the day I never like settled myself my the future planning real estate [Music] perfect events at that point that was when I literally made up my mindset that an EV EV compan green events green events that was my switch point what's your company name green events greenin green making greenin so green green kind of I is green green events I gave myself a name okay once I made up my mindset Ur I want to be able to make it and I want to make it big and I'm not going into real estate and I'm not going into the nursing homes maybe on the side of my full-time focus is events at that point automatically Clarity Clarity and when you have Clarity I got opportunity and opportunity Event Event it comes with the focus focused I'm giving myself 12 months plan very good question so there's two answers for that for them number one is respons frame bricks toil responsility he's having travel whatever it is and bringing music and entertainers and matched low ,000 what is your goal based on that I could deliver him product well product a doesn't always match with product B product B doesn't always match with product C and needs to make sense this a storytelling this is literally whatever creates story for the event owner event he's not there hey EV of so there sometimes do you have a budget meaning to say sometimes okay especially in the corporate world in the corporate world especially most of the times they have allocated budget for it allocated budgets for events and for everything allocated budget exactly theist exactly exactly so so sometimes clients okay do you have a budget they'll say my budget is x amount of money okay fine sometimes we don't go that route we sit down and you know the the initial conversation was and at that point dets possible terms of proposal in terms of numbers and based of D we're looking at an estimated of x amount of money for this so okay mean this is what your Bas is ADD option option they add option add option okay one two and three and four and the rest customer relationship I'm going to put in a lot more work um free estimates meaning to say I'll give away time I'll put you together a proposal search resources and researching and all that stuff at that point depit the retainer is numbers ideas my expertise for my clients rough rough rough amount of clients that reach out to me end up going with me and I'm happy with it I want to know what makes you specifically what makes you specifically you unique EV planning and I incorpor into plann woman a bookkeeper system in um customers clients operating so it makes it very seamless for the exactly a flow a process and energy and and just to be able to create a good system that it should work a healthy system as Clarity and nothing things should be all over the place [Music] place um customer service is is in my opinion one one in the world get the project manager because their project manager job is to overse internally the back the was the Custer just to be able to make sure that everything runs smooth and seamless the numbers for argument sake so technically speaking because as long because it's the planning of it at the event events Productions we deal with it we deal with it the right way um bed our challenge for I want to have that if we took it and we took a deposit and a contract is signed never ever ever will I back out that means if I have to miss out on that very big production or event I will miss out on that because um I'm sorry I have to back out I wouldn't do it however however executive decision hand minute could we handle it can't we handle it how can we handle it can't we handle it by because customers I'm doing I will make it happen by by hook or by crook I will make it happen but it shouldn't go on the from somebody else's event so I would never say no to repeat call client we're ready and we're set for these kind of situations how many was the most parties you did in a in a day D EV gave service for a customer and the S pie right the flowers or whatever the host right the answer is meaning the one that would wouldn't wouldn't benefit is the the most is the customer Logistics inventory wehousing Trucking gas Manpower damages um um um full full full company which certain people do work that way I basically we we we design events accordingly so the color is the color is the posters yes the color is the invitation yes the color is the gold the screens say they color so it the actual theme certain events Moroccan theme it's a theme themes from Disney from Curious George what's the weirdest one you had got a very interesting theme um graffiti everything was graffiti everything graffiti no it's interesting how we incorporate it you have to understand sometimes it sounds a little but we everything comes together sure and we last minute because of the rain we put everything inside and outd minut no happens to be not but artwork and the furniture we incorporate you know again you have to understand listen if you do it my policy is if you do it you have to do it right in an inine incline section is of when these kicks so for the picture you do it you do it right if not don't do it at all how do we make money how do you make the money and is it good enough outside vendors and Andre hired Freelancers managers Manpower staffing separately so waiters and N waiters and included waers is built separately Manpower is built separately outsourced outside managers are built separately valet parking captains mat besides him and his little BS com and what do people choose more to uh flat fee or percentage it's a very good question honestly the the real answer is at the end of the day the kicks C because usually the obviously you know the Cent but usually he respects it understands this is execute in this event exactly so sometimes ins a decision regardless of regardless of the cost is sometimes the bud amount basically a VIP luxury product service he wants everything taken care of do H my credit card the event and bu you're a therapist for rich people so no no no so let me rephrase it it's not uh a luxury service it's not a luxury product that we're selling it's a luxury service luxury events it's a luxury service it's a luxury service it's not necessarily a luxury product understand the difference now different days once upon a time once upon a time planners EV planners the best they cater they creative soering we become caters we start sourcing the food from different people or we hire chefs accordingly it's bringing around dishes props setup staff weight staff kitchen staff kitchen rentals Etc in in in you know basically Act why because at the end of the day Zan Zan sweet breads is the best L chops Next Level so what we try to do is we build a menu and based on the menu we decide where we're going to take the food of the client specific preference mention the wave the wave so very good question the wave is a company events on boats the wave can from the [Music] Ws and there's one specific boat owner built a very strong relationship with we really really good bodies business and what ended up happening is so slowly slowly end becoming like the V guy random mention green events I got your number I want to make an event on a boat let me make this and turn this into a business that could become scalable and it could run on its own events concept slowly slowly slowly developed um but concept veloped a business model a website was literally of their website planning an event of a shift from a through z without having to deal with a person choose literally CH men appetizer for soup dessert set up see like photographer videographer photo booth etc etc in Buffet sesame chicken carving stations boom boom boom it's a 10-step process of how you uh plan your event from a through z to be able to literally click through the entire process of an event at the end of the process you get a proposal and it tells you what you me what you get included and estimated price and this is n Dem high and green events oh okay high and green events that's not what the wave is all about the wave div custom we have C green events is a service the wave is a product exactly exactly the concept from the wave is it say a scalable business on long-term goal is Florida will expand and into the basically well process and you literally put in all your information in the office notification we made it like allinclusive packages so basically there's um this is what the package get this what the price per person is and it's a package the Platinum package get the the the the silver the sil the silver the silver package what you need it gives you what you need to be able to have an event from3 now the concept from name is that for ins for the planning stages for them is as simple because we know exactly what's needed for every events their shift their package their Mount mention do the menu B we have a system to the that we can execute an event vendors orders booked booked booked done so the the salesperson inquiry the website customer proposal sometimes I would do it sometimes meaning if it's you know depending on the situation umin and okay so X beautiful beautiful beautiful uh um and then sign the proposal and give a deposit the concept is it makes the the the planning and the production process seamless P it's automated exactly that and the manager came to the event he knows everything of Bo okay yeah thank you so happens to be the website process it's by the end end stages of being developed so it's um the plan is for season to launch but it's repeat customers word of mouth no new business I'm outside can marketing and Brandon and you know event that's coming up I need you to back down never had that competition um because back to the back to what we spoke about before strong Pointes yes as an event planner it's meing to say specific event this is not up my alley yeah honestly competition because I do feel like I offer a very unique product and service based off the conversations I'm got for I don't feel I feel like I'm definitely something different than all the event planners out there but the under event planners um and to my uh group our WhatsApp group final event planners in sharing information we have questions venues ideas Concepts new vendors new you name it we're all there for each other we're a very happy and healthy Community rental companies furniture rental companies ship in literally planners out there and we all sat together guns off um we help each other we're dear for each other we support each other in abilities that's it cooling the heting pro S pro mechanical for service and repair clean commercial residential system 718 [Music] mechanical related to sometimes besides the caters live podcast for open audience whatever event okay this is so full usually okay okay was delivered Chef on the spot on the premises fresh food whatever it is addition of the event from the catering certain mention certain chefs into the Che the so Ren dishes can R props can R any of these but besides that responsibility trips getways so what was your biggest job big is a very big is a very broad question I feel like you know the answer to this this this this there's big in terms of there's big in terms of hello there's big in terms of amount of people there's big in terms of amount of time there's big in terms of the amount of money it's a very very bro question the the answer not the answer the question that I'm thinking is that the biggest job even though there's not food and whatever waiters talking about the biggest headlines you're asking which events that I did made it to the headlines that you're extremely proud of to to show off people some right so first of all there's the H concerts which we've done in the past um which was a very was a was a nice project yeah we did last two years it's like because of we couldn't find any other specifically restrictions card 100,000 square foot of space over 100,000 square foot of space just on one floor itself split into three which is a tremendous amount of space atriums literally from a through z [Music] literally project um basically front row seating couches couch the VIP in in the [Music] VIP so line a project eight trailer loads from B just High plac [Music] company stag a stage billj Bill Jacks Are 4x4s 950 billj 954 by4 wow rental companies so this Alliance is a project for footage of billj n four times is how much it's 16 16 16 * 950 16 * 950 how much is 16 * 950 our studio audience says what 10,400 10,400 square foot billj billj this is besides the stage the stage I think was another 200 wow tremendous amount by by Bell works is that because it's an office building that's officially open for for people that are renting out offices um so officially the because Friday is a noral work day so they allowed us to start loading on Friday um but obviously not in the premises that people are working so we basically inas so so basically we got 56 trailers 50 trailers schedule trailers load in load out loading managers man the loading just loading in and loading out all planning this all our planning we had a team of people Gaz got um um if planning is key and when it comes to Big Productions if you don't have that it's it's your your 56 trailers loading in and and so we need it to be ready by suay morning we needed to be ready Sunday morning because Sunday morning is is is rehearsal so we need to be ready because why because if there's any issues we should be able to have time to deal with it so our come our lighting screens listen to this and we're not even we didn't even touch about food right okay we didn't touch about food rentals and set up reception VIP reception mention borks mention reception we needed to set up and and serve food for that amount of people this was a tremendous tremendous this a big production now schz we work together as a team schi oversaw the the musical production schy was the actual producer from the concert meaning the logistics anything that wasn't related to the actual stage was our responsibilities department so that was actually one of our um you know challenges is that the we needed to be not out we needed to be clean in Monday morning 5:59 a.m. out concert because 6:00 a.m. people are showing up to work wow so this was this was a logistical nightmare but I could say we pulled off like wow project so um there's yeah meaning and is [Music] respected wow beautiful next NJ Pack NJ P because but but we still had a reception for 1500 people across the street in a different place Serv van cocktails Munchies Essence snacks candies chocolates you know minors etc etc some man power crowd control security we just I never say no I love challenges I love challenges and I know one thing you go big or you go home event planner grer projects grer Productions I want to be able to you know produce you know latest Talk Plus questions the content so the question how how to keep calm during event it's not going so well wow I see his insid yeah okay so the first thing is St per job or the fulltime or the parttime or the freelances mistakes happen no 100% no no no no no mistakes could happen it's how you deal with the mistakes now first of all preparation is key okay and breakdown FL plans moods okay this is the plan we know we always take the extra hour leeway time whatever it is that [Music] extra accid fle and extra managers in case of emergency staff is key the man power is wait one 25 one 20 in the corporate world the guys on H one per 18 one per you know I usually try to be anywhere between 1.8 to 1 1.2 sometimes again it's if it's depending on the situation but you need to have that map that again that's that's waiters then you have um um Runners then you have Porters then you have kitchen St then you have managers mates whatever Etc in the actual in infant staff Alliance is it's broken it's under the staff but staff is key however many you think you need we always need more in case of things going wrong or in case something happening so this is mention staying calm because it's sometimes it's it's all about the the the the impression that you're giving over if the the guests in the clients V feel ice cream in customer the the ice cream is running late the options theas this is the is we're going to we're doing everything everything in our power that it should come quick easy smooth and the question if you're prepared for it and this is the this is the fact so you might as well just keep and and again if the guest and the client Z we have everything paperwor wow this is the it's for the question and as always sucess and it's just it gives me my passion my of you have the energy I enjoy it I enjoy communicating with people I enjoy I enjoy meeting
