us more whoa where do I start what is green event what are you what are you do event what type of event corporate events organizations nonprofit weekend getaways company Retreats how did you get into it who are you so is events events events dinners par meetings trips to all different places yeah but still behind the scenes exactly and slowly slowly growing up a little bit um Health business and happens to be that events planners planners he went on to the corporate world and good never knew that okay now you know in London in London is do a a full-time job in London is a part parttime job doing America right Happ to be events in London believe it or not it's the English mentality right um I was looking into opport the industry a few jobs lined up shall be more than happy office projects get sh projects fure events real estate nursing homes Healthcare come on [Music] slowly slowly slowly and at some point I realized that every time I try to like look for something else from 2016 20177 beginning of 2017 I was looking IND it just didn't [Music] work the future because at the end of the day I never like settled myself the future planning real estate [Music] perfect match point that was when I literally made up my mindset that events EV EV comp green events green events that was my switch point EV your company name green events greenin green green so green green kind of iish green green events I gave myself a name off okay once I made up my mindre I want to be able to make it and I want to make it big and I'm not going into real estate and I'm not going into nursing homes maybe on the side of my full-time focus is events at that point automatically Clarity Clarity and when you have Clarity I got opportunity and opportunity Event Event it comes with the the focus focused I'm giving myself 12 months in planner very good question so there's two answers for that for them number one is the responsibility frame respons he's having second thoughts now what do you offer for that we're going to get to that in a second an EV planner okay okay the and this also goes into the whole separate conversation on mention EV planners okay out cor thing number one is care of me and make event profession jelly mind [Laughter] excit different what is your goal basically what it is it's I start with the end goal in mind because booking hotels and dealing with travel whatever it is and bringing music and entertainers and match low ,000 what is your goal based on that I could deliver him a product well product a doesn't always match with product B product B doesn't always match with product C it needs to make sense this is storytelling this Lally whatever creates story for the event owner EV he's not there of so there sometimes do you have a budget meaning to say sometimes do okay especially in the corporate world in the corporate world especially most of the times they have an allocated budget for it allocated budgets for events and for everything allocated budget exactly the exactly so so sometimes clients do you have a budget they'll say my budget is x amount of money okay fine sometimes we don't go that route we sit down and you know the the initial conversation with and at that point details terms of proposal in terms of numbers and based of D we're looking at an estimated of x amount of money for this so okay meaning what your Bas is ADD option option option option okay one two and three and four and the um customer relationship I'm going to put in obviously a lot more work um free estimates meaning to say I'll give away time I'll put you together a proposal searches resources and researching and all that stuff at that point depit the retainer is numbers ideas expertise for am clients rough rough rough amount of clients that reach out to me end up going with me and I'm happy with it I want to know what makes you specifically what makes you specifically you unique and planners a bookkeeper system in um customers clients so it makes it very seamless for the exactly a flow a process and energy and and just to be able to create a good system that it should work a healthy system as Clarity and nothing should be all over the place [Music] customer service is is in my opinion one one in the world get the customer service for the client um we give very quick responses followups WhatsApp groups any question streamline the process streamline the process it's the little details was like the big picture mhm the the the customization the personalization the the company's logos the signage the welcoming the St display of this is a more of an ethical question I also have something to say about it but I wanted to hear your your first okay so fundraisers to raise money you want an appreciation he goes all out he's showing off statement I want to know what what what's your thought process when you go into do you feel good about it is it something business is business is do you have do you say that it's an okay it's a better thing it's what's so do mention time good time and and this is this [Music] is suit M but again I'm not comparing one another but the best question is you know the guy doesn't need it and and he wants to spend it on you yes so um again it all boils down to really isct is it really what you want yeah obviously is this again so you go to the root of it I go into the deep roote exactly big party coming up big party coming up from oh the flip side of it flip side of it by the way my compliment as long as one of it's good I just found out I never know about it it's funny how we got big party coming out it's so much it says so much it's like big party coming off it's like positive energy Positive Vibes so every single client before it post anything or it's okay with them um obviously mean coming up perfectly fine I respect it non disclosure so yeah and you know what and I respect it from the client because this comes back to [Music] the the big party coming up is party coming up done end the conversation events handles so the answer really is not the to the answer is the UF well 70 80% from the production from the work was gu not on the day is not the day off it's prior to the event project manager the project manager oversees is aligned I take care of I oversee it but internally project manager project manager job is to overse internally back just to be able to make sure that everything runs smooth and seamless the numberers for argument sake so technically speaking because as long because it's the planning of it at Productions we deal with it we deal with it the right way um but basic how challenge for I want to have that if we took it and we took it the deposit and a contract is signed never ever ever will I back out that means if I have to miss out on that very big production or event I will miss out on that because um I'm sorry I have to back out I wouldn't do it however however executive decision could we handle it can't we handle it how can we handle it can't we handle it by because repat customers I'm doing I will make it happen by by hook I will make it happen but it shouldn't go on the from somebody else's event so I would never say no to repeat call client we're ready and we're set for these kind of situations project how many was the most parties you did in a in a day D service for customer and the pieces right the flowers or whatever the H it right the answer is meaning the one that would wouldn't wouldn't benefit is theer the most is the customer Logistics inventory warehousing Trucking gas Manpower damages um um um full full full company which certain people do work that way design I basically we we we design events accordingly so we the the color is the posters yes the color is the invitation yes the color is the the screens the actual theme certain events Moroccan theme it's a theme them from Disney Curious George what's the weirdest one you had very interesting theme um graffiti everything was graffiti everything graffiti no it's interesting how we incorporate it you have to understand sometimes it sounds little but we everything comes together sure and we last minute because of the rain we put everything inside and indoors and out last minute no happens to be not but artwor the furniture we incorporate you know again you have to understand if you do it my policy is if you do it you have to do it right ofcl section is of when these kicks the angle so for the picture you do it you do it right if not don't do it at all how do we make money how do you make the money and is it good enough vendors in Al Andre hired Freelancers managers Manpower staffing buil separately so waiters and waiters and included waiters is built separately Manpower built separately ma outsourced outside managers are built separately valet parking captains mat besides him and his little team and what do people choose more to uh flat fee or percentage it's a very good question honestly this is the the the real answer is at the end of the day and the kicks of because usually the obviously you know the client right but usually he respects it understands this is ex in this event exactly so sometimes decision flat Fe regardless of regardless of what the cost is sometimes from the budget am basically a VIP luxury product streamline service he wants everything taken care of do host my credit card the event and you're a therapist for rich people so no no no so let me rephrase it it's not uh a luxury service it's not a luxury product that we're selling it's a luxury service luxury events it's a luxury service it's a luxury service it's not necessarily a luxury product you understand the difference is different today's days once upon a time once upon a time planners EV planners creativea soering we become caters we start sourcing the food from different people or we hire chefs accordingly it's bringing around dishes props setup staff weight staff kitchen staff kitchen rentals Etc in in in you know basically Act why because this strong point quity control at the end of the day sweet breads is the best lamp chops Next Level so what we try to do is we build a menu and based on the menu we decide where we're going to take the food of the client a specific preference mention the wave the wave so very good question the wave is a company events on boats the wave the wave [Music] is of boats and there's one specific boat owner built a very strong relationship with we really really good B and what ended up happening is so slowly slowly request request request end up becoming like the I got your number I want to make an event on a boat idea let me make this and turn this into a business that could become scalable and they could run on its own producing the events concept slowly slowly slowly developed but con developed business model a website was literally of their website planning an event of a shi from a through z without having to deal with a person literally kick the website Cho menu forer soup dessert set see photographer videographer photo booth etc etc in Buffet sesame chicken carving stations Bo boom bo it's a 10-step process of how you uh plan your event from a through z to be able to literally click through the entire process of an event at the end of the process you get a proposal and it tells you what your menu is what you get get included an estimated price and hire in green events oh okay hire in green events that's not what the wave is all about the wave the custom we have green events is a service the wave is a product exactly exactly the concept in the wave is this is a scalable business longterm goal is Florida will expand and into the basically well you literally put in all your information in the office notification we made it like a all inclusive packages so basically there's um this is what the package get this the price per person is and it's a package the Platinum package the the the the silver the silver the silver the silver package what you it gives you what you need to be able to have an event from A3 now the concept from name is that for in for the planning stages for them is as simple because we know exactly what's needed for every event their shift their package their Mount mention this the menu B we have a system to the that we can execute an event vendors orders booked booked booked done so the the saleson iny the website the customer The Proposal sometimes I would do it sometimes meaning if it's you know depending on the situation um declined and okay so X beautiful beautiful beautiful um and then sign the proposal and give a deposit the concept is it makes the the the planning and the production process seamless page aut it's automated exactly that and the manager came to the event he knows has everything hello events of boat [Laughter] okay get idea yeah thank you yeah so happens to website process it's now by the end end stages of being developed so it's um the plan is a for season to launch season but it's repeat customers word of mouth no new business on outside can then marke in Brandon and you know EV that's coming up I need you to back down never had that competition um because back to the back to what we spoke about before strong points is yes as an event planner in to say had a specific event this is not up my alley yeah my competition comp compe honestly competition because I do feel like I offer a very unique product and service based off the conversations I'm got for I don't feel I feel like I'm definitely something different than all the event planners out there but the under event planners um group group our WhatsApp group finale event planners in sharing information we have questions venues ideas Concepts new vendors new you name it we're all there for each other we're a very happy and healthy Community rental companies furnit rental compan literally planners out there and we all sat together um we help each other we're dear for each other we support each other in abilities that's it pro S pro mechanical for service and repair clean commercial residential system leave them Pro hunt of 718 720720 S pro [Music] mechanical anything related to besides theaters live podcast for open audence whatever EV event Okay so AER was the full production usually the okay okay delivered Chef on the spot on the premises fresh food whatever it is addition of the event from the catering certain mention certain chefs into the High Chef is into the can R dishes can R props can R any of but besides that responsibility so what was your biggest job big is a very big is a very broad question I feel like you know the answer to this this this this this big in terms of there's big in terms of H there's big in terms of amount of people there's big in terms of amount of time there's big in terms of the amount of money it's a very very broad question the the answer not the answer the question that I'm thinking is that the biggest job even though there's not food and whatever waiters talking about the biggest headlines of you're asking which events that I did made it to the headlines that you're extremely proud of to show off people I did the same was so first of all there's the H concerts which we've done in the past um which was a very was a was a nice project yeah we did last two years it's like because of we couldn't find any other specifically restrictions cards 100,000 square foot of space over 100,000 sare foot of space just on one floor itself split into three which is a tremendous amount of space atriums literally from a through z [Music] literally basically front row seating couches the VIP in the VIP VIP [Music] eight trailer loads from [Music] just stages stage Bill Jacks Bill Jacks Are 4x4s in 950 Bill Jacks 9 154 by4 rental companes is a project for footage of b nine 4 * 4 is how much is 16 16 16 * 950 16 * 950 how much is 16 * 950 our studio audience says what 10,400 10,400 square foot billj this is besides the stage the stage I think was another 200 wow tremendous amount Bell works is that because it's an office building that's officially open for people that are renting out office um so officially because Friday is noral work day so they allowed us to start loading on Friday um but obviously not in the premises that people are working so we basically so so basically got 56 trailers 56 schu trailers load in load out loading manag the loading just loading in and loading out all your planning we planning we had a team of people if planning is key and when it comes to Big Productions if you don't have that it's it's your your 56 trailers loading in and and so we need it to be ready by Sunday morning we need to be ready Sunday morning because Sunday morning is is is rehearsal so we need to be ready because why because if there's any issues we should be able to have time to deal with it so our has to come our sound lighting screens listen to this and we're not even we didn't even touch about food right okay we didn't touch about food rentals and setup in reception VIP reception mentions mention reception we needed to set up and and serve food for that amount of people this was a tremendous tremendous has a big production now schitz we work together as a team schi oversaw the musical production was the actual producer from the concert meaning Logistics anything that wasn't related to the actual stage was our responsibilities department so that was actually one of our um you know challenges is that the con we need it to be not out we needed to be clean in Monday morning 5:59 a.m. out concert because 6:00 a.m. people are showing up to work wow so this was this was a logistical nightmare but B I could say we pulled off like w so um there's yeah meaning [Music] respected wow beautiful the next is given njj because but but we still had a reception for 1500 people across the street in a different place VIP service served van cocktails Munchies Essence snacks candies chocolates you know many etc etc man power crowd control security this we just I never say no I love love challenges I love challenges and I know one thing you go big or you go home EV planner projects grer Productions I want to be able to you know produce you know the challenges comp beautiful latest plus question so questions how how to keep calm during event it's not going so well challenged event wow I see his Insight yeah okay so the first thing is car per job or the full-time or the part-time or the freelances mistakes happen can no 100% no no no no no mistakes could happen it's how you deal with the mistakes now first of all preparation is key okay is and Flor plans mards okay this is the plan we know we always take the extra hour leeway time whatever it is the extra [Music] acci F and extra managers in case of emergency so staff is key from the maner is waiters one 25 one 20 in the corporate world guys H one 18 one you know I usually try to be anywhere between 1 per eight to 1. 1.12 sometimes again it's if it's depending on the situation but you need to have that map that again that's that's waiters then you have um um um Runners then you have Porters then you have kitchen staff then you have managers hates whatever Etc in the actual in infant staff Alliance is it's broken it's under the S staff but staff is key however many you think you need we always need more in case of things going wrong or in case something happening so this is and mentioned staying calm because it's sometimes it's it's all about the the the the impression that you're giving over if the the guests in the clients feel Mak the I customer the the ice cream is running late there options is the messas is the we're going to we're doing everything in our power that it should come quick easy smooth and the question if you're prepared for it and the mentality this is the fact so you might as well just keep and and again if the guest and the client Z we have everything paperwor wow this is the T for the question and and as always sucess and it's just it gives me my passion is sales at the end of the day you have the energy enjoy I enjoy communicating with people I enjoy I enjoy meeting people I enjoy selling things to people I enjoy it I like it I enjoy it back in the have you ever done anything like this yeah y you sure sure can
