I took inspiration I'm not joking from The Bachelor you were lucky I was God guilt you were able to do it this is the plans for the future you know it has the chicken if you wouldn't have that this to find those extra advisors no no it's a different yeah take the whole dive and tell you what the icker of the timeline package wow yeah that's packaging I was wondering because I thought okay perfect I'm committed every single day we got a lot of people how do they you grab them in for the eight minute off and then they see it's not enough and then they come to the real death dick is the New York it's born in Lakewood I went to a lot of different yeshivas here in bar Park I went to minkaj ah Karlin on 14th Avenue and I went to the architaro so it's like so I guess your youth was a little bit it was wild ride and my parents made they tried to make Aliyah three times they try to move there just throw three times and they all three times failed but every time I picked up a little bit more Hebrew a little bit more we lived in interesting neighborhoods we lived in benebra and uh so I went to panovicano and I want these cheapest here in America I went to Passaic and learned in the mirror so I have a very interesting background I went to different yeshivas dimensions so I speak a little you there's just a lot of Hebrew a lot of English and I connect with a lot of different types of people yeah would you say I'm not talking now are the damages that you didn't know if you're coming or going I mean my personality right now I'm getting some sugar you know I'm saying I have a little bit of uh yeah but at the time I didn't really feel that something was wrong yes I think at the time it made me a stronger person I need to pick up and lose all your friends and go to another Yeshiva and then go to another country and then come back to another country cat new friends new neighborhoods but at the time I didn't know better so it made me strong I think it made me a stronger person okay why I'm a little you know like that it could be genetically or it could be it had to do with the I don't know that's and I don't have any Titans on my parents or whatever it wasn't like oh I was suffering we did it okay it is what it was accident you know um foreign but I had bigger ones less hair and top because I you know part of it you can't have I learned the punish you shikhtana as a 13 14 year old but I remember you delevkovic um so yeah I mean that was all ketones that it didn't really matter I was probably the only luthfucking some of the Ming catches the only nutrition kid that got made fun of a lot and this and that but my father wanted me to learn in a Crader that they learned a lot of a lot of toyre and they learn you know on a pace and he wasn't happy with the khadaram by the lit facts in those days that's what you know so that's what it was so we don't forget my father is is a huge massman he sits and learns all day he gives Brothers these days people come to me as the worst house in film he's a huge huge management so I grew up respecting learning and I always wanted to learn so I didn't have this place it was very difficult in Yeshiva to sit and learn all those hours but something I wanted to do so that was my dream and that you know eventually I made it there by forcing myself and uh giving myself certain things that I have to do like like giving a share that put me in a position to to want to learn because otherwise I wouldn't learn wow okay so now we could go basically the eight minute off you wouldn't achieve it the whole time I guess right different yeshivas whatever it is and you got into business so first I learned for six years in cuddle oh okay but my personality is I like to have a lot of fun and do a lot of crazy things I used to skydive jump out of planes scuba dive with fish and sharks if fish wasn't enough I went to the Sharks crazy things you know then I became a pilot I had a fly plane then I bought a plane and I realized that Kayla wasn't so much for me every shiny Bikram I would like leave Kyle and go on a ski trip and then snowboarding and and then water skiing whatever anything to get me out of the coil so I was like okay I tried and then I would come back okay we learned Stark for another two weeks dark We're not gonna go anywhere and then they saw her took over and I would go on another trip you know eventually after six years they said you know enough maybe I'm uh I'm fooling myself so I went into the business World from what I'm understanding is you were very much in the business world yes it's okay we're not ashamed yeah I'm not sleep um yeah so you did what you you started well I started I did catering I was a caterer I used to do hassanas um worked late hours and I wanted the hassanas one of the guests asked me if I want to buy some real estate and I was actually dabbling a little bit in real estate I was good with my hands I was working as uh you know doing uh Renovations and things like that but not nothing big and he asked me if I want to buy uh 2 000 apartment complex wow so I told them Miss Michigan you know the chicken thank you very much no thank you and I walked away I said this mice a bunch of times but not maybe not for the either speaking people so I'll say it again that night I went home was about one o'clock in the morning and I started thinking about this guy's conversation so much 2000 apartments and then I had a real conversation with myself I said why did you throw them away like that why'd you knock it out if he would have asked you if you want to buy 100 Apartments would you consider it maybe 100 Apartments not it's doable you know okay I just came out of coil but I probably could finagle you know 100 apartments and if it's 200 what's the difference 100 and 200 and like that I kept on saying to myself and if it's 2 000 so just break it down into pieces the next morning I called them up I said I'm interested I want to see he said what happened I said I want to see it so we drove out three hours to Indianapolis and he showed me as a funny mice to the guy the guy that's showing the property he comes to him he says this guy in the minivan he wants to buy 2 000 Apartments it's a whole you know we had to pretend that my minivan is is stomach stick I really have a Lamborghini but okay and uh I ended up buying the 2000 Apartments wow and yeah I didn't have any money I convinced people to invest with me oh I'm gonna have an investors you know summer sold off pieces I went to different people I didn't tell anybody it was 2000 apartments at the time I went to all these virum that I knew from Chicago and I said I have this uh property that's only 100 Apartments you want to be a shift and they said yeah wow but the next guy I have 200 Apartments you want to be sure though you know and of course I took 30 50 whatever it was from the thing and and what's your experience I have a that's my experience I mean quite a little six years I quite a lot of experience flipping burgers skiing and the mice after I I dropped my catering to jump into it is and a lot a lot of Seattle brought this crazy stories one after another but it fell it fell together and and that was the the first large property that I bought and it was just yeah so during those years I gave it that feeling this year and this is very interesting I gave it up here machine in Chicago for eight years I finished the entire shots as a mega cheer in Chicago and I only had five people for eight years five people so sometimes six sometimes four but approximately five years it's a fan of mansion yeah this is what it is yeah but the difference is that the reason there was only five people because I didn't prepare that much prepared for an hour and that was it it's about the the work you put into it um catering business real estate well I had a quit catering to to focus on the real estate on that first building or the the first minutes a step ahead um okay so now where did this take the big turn so what happened was I was in Chicago building up this company and buying more Apartments you know more complexes these are multi-family complexes you know some of them have 300 apartments in a in a neighborhood it's out of town not like in Brooklyn it sounds like a it's like a surrounded property you have your own uh pool and and uh a guest house and others you know people come to the center and they and the apartment buildings are around and it's all one Community it's a gated community you buy the whole thing so I started buying this by now it's selling buying and that a lot of employees and eventually it came to the point where we we built a nice house in Chicago it was uh you guys don't know about this but 12 000 square feet with the elevator the whole a large house and we finally moved into the house and then things started shifting in my head it's like what am I doing why why did I just build this what was what's the what's the purpose of this you have all this the money and the cars and and the at a plane and a house and for what it didn't in a few years I'm not going to be here anymore and then I'm gonna have a house and give you a rooster to my to my kids and for what I don't have my bank account Ms is on zero wow close to nothing I have to I have to start putting money into that account right now so I spoke to my wife I said what do you think about moving tires Israel and she said it's interesting so I said okay and then two hours later I said remember you said interesting yeah I said I bought a plane ticket to go there as well I'm checking it out what it's checking it out I came back a few days later from Arizona I said okay so we're moving let's go two weeks later we got on a plane and we moved out of this road we left all our stuff in our house everything shoes the clothes the the the like the the the silver everything everything the cars in the garage moved out this road for one year I was still in America Israel now 10 years later with all the stuff still in the house this is how long after you moved in uh three months after we moved into the house [Music] crisis situation technically but in a good way yeah a very positive one we went we moved there so to to build rookies because you we have it here in New York also but it's it was a it was a race who could build a bigger house who could build who could drive a nicer car and we were focused on on just Dash me as gosh Miss more the nicer car and then even nicer than the nicer and and one guy built a basketball court in his basement and the next guy builds you know the bigger mcfinners basement it's just one thing after another it's like what are we doing we're managed it's like a rat race we're going around the circle making a lot of money to spend a lot of money to and to do nothing not to accomplish anything with our life so the dream gang connection work on yourself never had self-growth self-growth and what happened to the magichir part so I went there as well we were there for a while and I said okay so I have to I have to I came to do something so I went to a basement sat down and they were learning condition then or whatever I think it was and opened up the gemara started learning and it turns out that the the guy next to me was also learning condition and was that and he became a club Russo you know it's called Terry culo knows shots and everything and so I got a really good habusa and uh then we said okay you know I had an idea maybe I'll I'll do um like a little sheer in my house on not that feeling me but like the eight minute death chapter the Thompson of the dove of the whole week in 40 minutes I'll give seven dots in 40 minutes so guys have you know and uh the idea was not so much to teach to Tyra but for me to learn to meet to make a makhive something that happened before so I'll travel every month I'll travel to America to see my real estate and this and that but even when I was traveling I had to prepare this this year this year for the Thursday night shifts I was always back for Thursday night gave you know schnitzel and chant and and all this good stuff Sushi and a lot of people came they came for the food nobody's listening and I didn't care I knew they came for the food but I wanted to prepare this year so I started giving the share and I did it for like two years and then people said well why are you giving this uh sikkum do a Daft I said okay let's go tomorrow that's how we did it we started the middle it's a big east side when you get a you start right away right that minute you want to go on a diet next year next week right now today so um we started the next morning that's time in the middle of a middle of a word there's no Mission or not we just started that's it wow and it took off amazing we started with eight people the next day there's 9 10 11 12 and then it grew and grew in Barca now obviously this is extremely inspiring if I submit is a in detail for the listeners inspired the thought that comes to mind is okay so you were lucky I was God guilt you were able to do it nine to five guys you were able to play with it you were able to move the whole fighting guys how do we take this for the average guy that given financially to get the same inspiration and and to pick himself up so but do something with his life good point I'm not here to tell people to do exactly what I did that's and I'm not trying to show off and hey I did this and you didn't do it a few points first of all I know a lot a lot of wealthy people that have a lot more money than me they don't learn a word of the garnished they're just busy making more and more money the point is that no matter what your situation is you could always do a little bit more do a little bit more you could always learn another 40 minutes a day hustling minute not even 40. and you have to make more and more and more and and and the guys are getting up at seven o'clock in the morning they're coming home at 10 o'clock at night then they're going crazy to make another Buck another Buck the point is slow down I'm not saying you pick yourself up and go towards Israel quit all your business and everything slow down a little bit a little a few Less hours it's not going to kill anybody if you will do your status and you work from nine to five you're gonna have pronounce you can there's nothing you can change your pronounce is given on Rosh Hashanah finished if you're a Mammon then you believe that so you're gonna work 20 hours a day and 35 hours a day it's not going to change the thing just gonna make you more Michigan slow down spend more time learning tiger so we were just having this conversation yeah right before you came in um you mean it's so far like hold on I said why are you so quiet over there oh that's what he does yeah I'm the quiet when I listen and if there's something important are you like on shock no I I like to listen I like to take it in and why because I once spoke about it and somebody once molandi was caught he's a guy in this year regular guy that works in the Muncie he somebody took a picture of him learning on the plane and what happened he made a Kabbalah that he's going to learn from the time he leaves Muncie to the time he gets started this role he learned the entire masakta and that inspired hundreds of people from this year because we get pictures upon pictures and I saw the pictures now it used to be you get on the plane if nobody's looking you watch a movie Two movie Sometimes 10 hours straight podcast this podcast hello my podcast but you just watch and watch and watch you know and if people are watching you if they're looking they don't now it became uh the style you learn another guy just came from Manchester United so learned the homicide from door to door and then this guy and that guy and Dove Harrison it just became more and more and more people it became normal I wasn't even sitting in my death and then yeah I used to I used to try and I used to you know the the 30th a month and then the 120 and then this and I saw it's just not I'm not good at it I have to put in crazy amount of hours and the guy's sitting next to me I have guys in my I have a coil for for that fioni and most of the guys know Shots by heart one of the guys is also and one of them is the number one guy in the world fix it and do Hazard and do this and this and then I'll put oil in in the olives and they'll do all the kosher things and this at the end of the day it is who I am so let me focus on something that and do these people that literally work every single day on the share whether it's editing drawing um just everything the tech behind the scenes so we have a lot it's impact I just give this year there's a lot a lot of people buying this year that's why it's very successful and a lot of people want to be part of this year most of these people are not paid it's voluntary this is a lot of people on salary so but going back to your thing I try to make that's it whatever it is I try to put myself in a position of a regular guy like me average guy about a boss does he want to hear 45 minutes of um and then just go and go and go go or once in a while you stop you give a nice vids a nice story a good piece of muscle or something that's relative to take out something from the gamar that's relative to you today how to dive in a little better how to treat your wife a little nicer very business you know anytime there's a little he said about Brooklyn's bring something out that's relevant what it's yeah that's the only part of it it kept on going this is different so our artist he makes all this from scratch because every day there's more pictures more things this is amazing wow I like how it's floating this is the the art and crossing the yard then the water goes upwards into the shamaim and then the yardim becomes dry and then they found uh 12 Stones that they wrote this the toy on it and the stones they took the stones out and put it on the the shore of the island and the animated yeah yeah we discussed it it's the whole thing he's used to learning full-time aims to explain this this the thing of tomodair which is much longer I don't want to make you guys bored it was a very long animation I was on the phone with him for over five hours straight and he was I was watching him work in in lives I know you have to do this red do that put it like this and besides specific and detail it has to be a certain way so you're saying your mom is trying to you're doing two things you're bringing it to life and you're bringing life into it I'm mentioning exactly so yeah I brought it down it's like covered if I touch you you can become contaminated you become sick disease you have to wash your hands you have to go to the mix you know that the whole point is about Pat they were living it is it was it was passed on from generation to generation not not they were living it mean no I don't I don't I don't I support a little bit but I I don't uh I'll tell you something very very interesting story a sad story kind of an inspiring story there's a guy from Muncie he wasn't very wealthy he said and I really believe this when we give a gemara to somebody maybe it's freaky Mars let's just make this let's just make this very clear this is whoever wants to start learning is foreign [Music] foreign [Music] he decided that he wants to bring more people to Toyo that's it how do you bring more people to tairua through this program to donate 35 and the 35 goes to gemara and we give it to somebody nobody makes any money goes straight to the guy how many people that start the this year I I read emails before this year one of the most common email because I get like 30 40 a day you change my life it's it became cliche you changed my life you changed my life because we're not just learning Torah it's a life change it's the whole thing changed my life how could you change a person's life for 35 it's impossible you could give an Amana 35 it's a very nice thing and it's a big asset but you don't change your life here you're changing your life 35 changing his life so this guy decided he was gonna sponsor Mercer's Nazar the whole thing he gave he went they gave ten thousand dollars another ten thousand another kids are then he says I want to sponsor him we didn't know we thought he's a big Giver she goes and he's okay he started getting money from Saturday the day the day is another finished and they that site has started this 35 year old young man was nifter wow his name is here in the front and his wife didn't even know that he was giving the money he didn't even have the money he somehow he came up with the money and he was giving even give me he asked how how it happens you never know some per he got a physical right before his Nifty that was the post yeah wow unbelievable very inspiring but this guy took to the topic you know Developers the other China toys a airplane whatever skiing jet skiing do you still enjoy these things do you still do these things yeah but I I don't have time for it yeah but I go skiing once a year with my kids I went on a safari I went on two safaris lately I love this stuff it's very challenging because I didn't miss a day in 1 300 and something days not one day every day I give a share seven days a week zero vacation wow so when if I go on a safari I had to bring my clever with me with that equipment you know the the screens and the lights and this and the audio which let me the Safari just and the whole day is around this year where am I going to get this year when am I going to prepare here and then we have to upload it in middle of the Jungle you have to upload it I can't explain to you what kind of disaster it is the upload speed there is like you know it takes nine hours and then but people in America are very upset they didn't get to share yet sir it's all about the shoes so I try to limit all the stuff and it's probably no you probably don't have any time for the Safari anymore because everything it ruins it ruins the experience I'm sitting there looking at the lions killing uh a buffalo and I'm thinking about the shares like I can't enjoy it because I gotta go right boys let's go let's go let's go learn about lines at the time that you visited I gave I gave a [ __ ] once with lions with lines right next to me and I gave a whole Shear actually no that was one thing but I I actually was holding a lion we went to a place where you could touch a lion and I gave a sheer eight controversial type of way of learning you'd learn if you if let's say I come to Yeshiva you know I'm a rabbi and then what do you call it Yeshiva Katana right like we call them I don't know I call them but you come in and you start teaching the way you teach you're thrown out in a second right it's two it's too fun I mean I don't know what you're shooting maybe it's too much fun we're we're taught that that that it's very serious very dry and very rigid I'll tell you the MS MSM is is your question done I don't want to no I just want to know how to how do you think like if you wouldn't have that this many people would you be like banned like how does that work how do you get along with other people I took inspiration I'm not joking from the bolshamative you think singing was was normal to sing by davening to this radical people were very very rigid and he said the generation needs it and they start singing in the Morgan and I'm looking if if you want to be serious and it's too fun too much fun for you this is a thousand other shoe room I promise you that you'll find plenty of people are very very serious and isn't it the proof is in the pudding the Lamesa people want to enjoy they come out and by the way we're very very into real chat so people are getting good understanding of the sugar maybe even more than than other shioram because there's pictures and
