Lakewood High School Students Sign Letter of Intent National Signing Day

and I sit up here before you today and say that he easily could have just said you know what coach this isn't for me I'm going to go in the streets and do whatever possible but you know with the hard work the dedication and the perseverance today is a glorious day for him and his family because whatever University he chose it would is not even going to change his life it's going to change his family's life you know and with that being said you going to tell them where you going they kind of spilled the beans on social media I don't think anybody here no [Applause] he take not and for the people wondering out there yes it is 100% free he doesn't have to pay a red set as long as he's eligible and doesn't get kicked off the team it's full Grant full housing everything I just I just want to uh start off by thanking every coach that gave me the opportunity to play for them that gave me the scholarship like basically just a chance that a lot of people didn't give me secondly I want to thank my players and teammates for that for being there for me supporting me like help me get through times the things that I went through I just want to thank yall and then uh we made [Applause] it so you know like I said his his choice was a little bit more easy because you know he he was a temple owl from day one he's got a ton of Temple stuff and it was kind of not a secret everybody knew but uh still fact of the matter is that he deserves a spotlight just like everybody else and if you wouldn't mind putting your special handwriting John Hancock on that again his fin 100% free uh free grant doesn't have to pay anything back just just a touch on uh just a couple things on Chappelle uh again he he's a very humble human human being I mean running around with a ranking in the beginning of the year being top in you know Jersey everybody coming after him not one time that I ever had to tell Chappelle not hustle not do the right thing never misses practice came late once to get a haircut
