Classic Braised Lamb Shanks

I know [Music] hey here we go we're doing pizza today we're going to do the lamb shanks this is what they had with the carbon Pizza this recipe next level is fall off the bones soft full of flavor delicious let's start this is what you need for the recipe some nice lamb shanks chopped garlic diced carrots diced onion celery potatoes fresh herbs I have some chicken stock measured in the podka cup finish I got this is one cup so I don't know if you guys know but this is the Disposable measuring cups it's all ready I'm gonna need some two cups of wine this is two cups right here we got two cups um olive oil some crushed tomatoes [Music] well let's Brown some lamb anybody know what they're saying when they shifted the land I don't call my brother-in-law he's a rabbi in California Rabbi Ruben wolf he knows trust me he knows what they're saying when they accepted the carbon pizza because he knows what they're going to sing let me see how it comes let me call him how are you how are you Rabbi wolf hey okay so this is a story I'm in the middle of shooting for culture.com now yeah and I'm shooting land I'm trying to figure out if maybe you would know because I actually I know you know what song did he even sing while they were roasting the lamb what song did they sing the only song that will come up is yeah it was a very holy moment you're saying oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I know he's gonna know what to eat you're saying [Music] nice color okay so we got some color on the lamb I'm gonna take it out of the pot I got a lot of flavor in there from the lamb I'm gonna add my vegetables I'm gonna start off with the onion garlic [Music] carrots [Music] celery I'm gonna put my lamb inside salt and pepper I'm gonna slice my potatoes in half throw it right in here you have some nice tomatoes it'll never go wrong with the Tomato give that a couple minutes I would say around five minutes let it saute you don't want to Brown it too much but you want to get all the flavors out from all the vegetables then we're going to add the lamb back in so look at these vegetables starting to smell delicious it's only going to get better from here we're gonna add so much more flavor to this [Music] beautiful all right flavor little bear on her side this patch kick up two cups there we go that was perfect for two cups then we have a cup of chicken stock and you know what you do with this garbage crushed tomatoes from tuscanini it's a great product and not to have any waste I forgot I have to sing whatever wolf said oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah we're bringing this to a boil we'll give it a little mix this is going to cook for three hours in your oven we're gonna add some fresh herbs these are some bay leaves to bring out the best flavor of the bay leaves you want to give just a little incision I'm gonna put it in one of these nets so I can just take it out I don't have to worry about it later three Baileys little thyme a little Rosemary the more herbs you put in the more flavor you'll have I love some fresh oregano tie it up just like that in the oven tresoras here we go yum delicious first thing I'm gonna do is take out my net with all the herbs let's take one shrink that's gonna go right here the other ones let's just transfer this over here for a minute be very careful with this as this is very very soft okay so here we go with the carbon python part this is the lamp this is my vegetables I screen the sauce out I want plain vegetables I'm just gonna go right here then I'm gonna take some of this yummy sauce right on top yeah I mean delicious this smells so good I'm Gonna Leave the vegetables for somebody else maybe my wife is gonna eat the vegetables I'm going straight into the lab fall off the bone you saw that but the whole thing just falls off [Music] delicious I can eat this whole day all year trying to have a little potato ES I also cooked the Lamb with the Cabernet this is so good wow I'll take another piece now I know happy coming back in the day that would have planned a lot of because lamb I'm starting to understand this whole starting to make sense [Music] olive oil some crushed tomatoes let's go my hotness my my house heating my heart was beating foreign is heating up
