The Making of the "Only Love" Music Video

[Music] ground now no like i say i want i want you to make a video of behind the scenes of only love and it's happening right now this is the one we decided to shoot this wait a second the actor ended up being shimmy rosen who was amazing and he's inside this room we actually did a little bit of audition inside the studio just to make sure he could hit those notes emotionally by certain parts of the song and the part that we auditioned for was when he was banging on the wall [Music] and one thing about jimmy is that he's super patient super humble easy to work with and he's very motivated the entire time and that is really really important it's not just about the acting it's about being patient because when you're going for a professional look you got to take take after take after take until it's done perfectly behind the scenes they're behind the scenes oh yeah the main actor hey hey hey no paparazzi you could you could leave the door up that's just coming back so what are you trying to oh no um hold on let me get the shot in my brain we're gonna have guys walking towards me um let's get one of these lights turned on cuba boston what are you doing right now the special effect basically was getting the people to disappear they didn't actually disappear obviously so in order to do that we have to have the people walk in a specific way in order that they don't cut each other out okay move to the sides a little bit more okay you got it okay everybody reset reset and which was really difficult to get but we got it i'm pretty sure too much light and that's a wrap what let's go we're done that's alright it's a little bit cold but this is the crew right here this is the crew this is the main crew right here everyone left us we don't leave until it's over good job good job my personal favorite um scene of this whole music video was the scene when the boy was locked he got quarantined into his room for 14 days the room that we shot it in was really bass madrish which we were allowed to shoot in because the base measured waterberry is made on condition that it could be used for other things it's awesome when you're part of it look at that we shut off all the lights in in the room so nobody was able to tell what room it was in and we used two lights we used uh one light on a stand over the bed and we used one light um guy holding a light on me but since it's on gimbal he had to duck down when the gimbal was turning around the subject and he ducks down and then the camera follows him to his bed um we also wanted to do it all in one shot so it was just a very very hard shot to do and we did it and it came out great everything worked out perfect you couldn't even tell where we shot it but it was really shot in the basement of waterbait don't scare me like that okay okay are the two best people for the job because not only do they have gorgeous gorgeous voices but they are so humble and they're actually interested in getting their message out to the world they want to make a difference for people's lives the power of a camera is that you have no clue where they're actually shooting if you have professional lighting and you have a camera and you just shut off all the lights you will have a scene that looks like they're in a professional auditorium or in a hall like i don't think anyone would realize that we were in a dining room with tables and chairs [Music] watching the footage in a lot of music videos singers would lip sync the words um but jose vanzavi actually hit the notes every time [Music] and it was actually insane i'm i was sitting there with the camera going like this and it sounded gorgeous and i was actually even getting a little emotional there who sponsored the music we custom apparel what is it we'll write it on the bottom no no it's not part of no no it's not part of the put a link in the description put a link in the description look at that love only love look at that no no okay oh shoot thank you mike bree who is one of the most professional bestest jewish video shooters out there and he's so talented and humble and he gave me a lot of time just schmoozing with him whenever i saw him or calling him up and just asking for different ideas and he came up with some really cool ideas that really added a lot to the mix and you know i like doing projects myself and just doing everything myself but at the end of the day when you get other people's opinions and different ways of seeing it it comes out a much fuller better picture at the end it's always better to get different opinions and different views and it really did he came up with the idea to switch the masks and that the master say only love on one side and on the other side it says pandemic and it switches from pandemic to only love as the song progresses and that's really what happens when you ask people for their opinions and see different people's views and get objective views you come up with these ideas that you would have never thought of yourself what are you doing josef i am cutting some people so he's cutting if these are words that they only love empty they make it for the music video we wanted to order masks for the music video but they wouldn't come a time so what do we do bark hashem we found this thing and basically you print it backwards called the mirror image and you take your mask and you put it backwards on the mask this is a great project if you want a covered project at home keep your kids busy this is perfect hey panda i bought the mini iron so simple put it down put lots of pressure scrub it and scrub it scrub scrub scrub scrub them out now watch the professional bam that's a beauty pandemic and only love cool get on amazon for like 10 bucks you want a great project to do with your kids do this some people are coming over to me and saying certain parts were vague i didn't get certain parts and and yeah that's it's like that you think about any professional video that you watched it's gonna be a little bit vague and you need to watch it it's intriguing for you you're like wait one second let me watch that we got you that's what it's meant for and when you get it you feel better about yourself and like wow it's more genius than if we would just feed it to you outright [Music] it was cold very very cold very physical brutal night we actually wanted the guys to go a little crazy and over the top action [Laughter] two one and action and move to the side move this side move to the side move to the side it was a lot of fun to just watch from the side i was just standing on the side just observing so the lesson we were trying to show during the fighting scene is that someone who's in evan hashem and he knows his next step he's able to remain calm during he's like the eye of the storm and he's able to remain calm during the storm he's the one part that is calm the boy who's nervous in the beginning he sees everyone fighting he's us fighting he's very very nervous but then slowly as it progresses he sees that a real evident hashem is able to remain calm and able to remain at peace ate all the food yeah we just we were starving and this kid didn't get any other food okay good you guys are looking cool three two one and run run run past me you just have to go past the camera that's it look at them look at them the day six i know the room with the the scene with the sick boy in bed was a very fun scene actually um we were deciding we should add fog or not and we we did have fog and then the real reason why we added fog was because it adds a certain feel to it it gives it a little like um soft if i could say action deliver the box on his bed and then walk away now walk away breathe hard heavier breathing noticeably heavy okay three two yeah go go go come out of a fire [Music] rip it off with meaning here we are very emotional stage it's the martini shop martini shot it's the last shot of the entire only love music video one and action is this look at the camera for a second that's it all right that's a [Applause] [Music] it's going to come out amazing it's going to be insane yeah not to take any credit from anyone else but i held the light he held the light you know many people think holding a light for the camera in the music video is not a big deal without the light where's the music video without the music video were the views yes i remember a few struggles throughout the music video the one that i remember on top of my head they called for action boom in a millisecond i didn't know what to do i was freaking out am i gonna get fired am i gonna i was inside control and i moved it to neutral very complicated i'll teach you very few words i moved it from my right hand to my left hand i want to conclude with something i heard from robbie sir riseman who i'm very close to and that is that hashem doesn't punish hashem just teaches lessons and this whole covet thing really was hashem teaching a lesson and what's the lesson whatever you take from it and it's our responsibility to take something from it we don't have the vm so we don't know exactly but we don't need to know exactly every person has to take something from it and you know an idea that the music video was portraying as the kova progresses he he learns that if he wants to stay sane he's got to just do his thing just be with hashem instead of you know who's right who's wrong this and that whatever what do we what's hashem trying to teach us and that is getting together is getting closer to hashem so you know he starts learning on zoom he starts setting up a tax delivery system and and that's the main lesson of this music video and i hope everybody takes that lesson to heart and we become a better nation and bring machiavellia i really hope that the message in this music video will get out to the world and everyone will be able to grow from it and relate to it we're done yes um sir let's go um it was a lot of
