Stepping Up - Rabbi Michael Hoenig

it's not for me he could do it she could do it me not for me no way no how the mission of novels teaches us an incredibly relevant and beautiful message in a place where there are no leaders what should we do strive to become the leader step up to the plate and rashi explains this mishna so beautifully in a place where there are no leaders for the needs of the community for the tsar tsibor no one's stepping up what should we do he should deleot you should become the leader you should help out the community and we have this opportunity in so many different ways perhaps it means stepping up to daven for the um becoming the guy by becoming the on the board starting a new cassette initiative a new fundraiser a new torah initiative there are so many needs of the seaboard we should never say he's going to do it she's going to do it however whenever we identify it sourech we see there's a need we should step up take it on grab it by the horns and akareshwar will give us this to make a kiddish hashem and if we have this strength and this fortitude mere hashem others will follow in our lead [Music]
