did you ever wonder why are there so many jewish doctors is it because we like to be successful and we like to have money i don't think so i spent two weeks in the hospital over hanukkah and the following week afterwards with my son who was unwell or hashem is recuperating and doing well and i was just so overwhelmed by the amount of chesad that is going on in the hospital the doctors are people who have dedicated their whole lives every single day to helping another person feel better and not only that but throughout hanukkah there are dozens and dozens of jews coming to visit the hospital with gifts and donuts and wishes for refusal with singing who are coming with menorahs to help people light so many people coming to show that they care that they want to help another jew feel better where does this come from where is this koa where's his love of hazard come from amongst the jewish people obviously it comes from the pillar of hassan ava mavino her great father vino had the media that he looked outside of himself he cared about another person he was sitting by his tent looking for other people to be able to make their day better to be able to enrich their lives where did he get that media from where where is that what's the nature of that media it's related to the very same media in which discovered he's the pillar of the moon and he's the pillar of chesad why is that because he looked outside of himself because he was not self-centered because he was looking for what is generating this world when he looked into who is the creator and he realized that it's not the sun and it's not the moon and it's some greater power he was looking beyond his own existence and the same thing is true with the mindset of each every single one of us needs to be looking beyond ourselves thinking beyond ourselves not about our own lives and our own needs but really what's going to make the world a better place it's going to help other people's lives be enriched and the way we can do that is by really paying attention to the cellular community each and every single one of the people that we come into into contact with we may not be doctors all day we may not be running organizations but we can always be looking about what does the other person need and trying to make the world a better place around us and that way we will be following the footsteps [Music]
