tonight
um again we want now we want to approach
the haggadah
and hal el the other parts of the seder
we want to do this in a way that as we
said amazes the angels
and stimulates them to send back a
glowing report to akaddish foruhu
now for those of you who didn't hear
about this last week the zohar
talks about what's happening
particularly
when we were reciting the haggadah on
lal seder
and it has to do with malachi with
angels now
i want to get i want to give us a little
perspective about that
you know this is such a um beautiful
zohar for klm because one of the things
we
need to do and we're trying to do is to
recognize
the incredible things that are taking
place when you do mitzvahs
especially with kavanagh right
so that's super important and we just
yata as we said he doesn't want us to be
conscious
of what's going on because he knows
that'll be bad for him
now let's get an idea of this we're
about to talk about malachi
rashi brings this down that we have to
realize something that manoa
was the father of shimshin right now
if he was zoho to have shimshin uh
as a son he must have been
a pretty developed spiritual person
and it said that when manoa had an
encounter with
one mala with one angel
he thought he was going to die the
intensity of it was so great he thought
he was going to die
that's one mallah one angel
now think about this especially on
saturday night
when you're reciting the agatha and with
lil satyr
hakkadish
are if you will from this other
spiritual realm
they're looking down on our seder and
they're listening
and they're seeking to report back to
hashem
what a people they're amazing right
and as we said if we do the uh seder
properly
with proper kavana and investment of
self
can you imagine the glowing report that
they will deliver now
i have a little bit of a mysterious
question
for you i it's really a rhetorical
question
i'm going to ask it now and i'm only
going to resolve it at the
end of our talk and that's this
is it possible to
do the seder with tremendous kavanagh
lots of kavanah and still
create displeasure with the angels
interesting stay tuned that'll be at the
end
okay but now let's shift in and
understand what we need to do to succeed
so there's a very popular expression now
and it's called mindset
right everyone knows what a mindset is
so
the first thing we need to establish is
the mindset for mageed
for telling over the story relating the
story of mitzius menstruating
of the haggadah what's the mindset
and for that you know since we have a
lot of people in london
i think you might uh find this
interesting something
uh ravi green told uh brought up many
times
um there was a uh a historian a british
historian named paul
johnson may probably many of you have
heard about him
he wrote a book called the history of
the jews
he is not jewish and i do not think he's
religious either
okay a non-jewish historian
and the book was called the history of
the jews and really he speaks
very favorably about us to the degree
that in cure of seminars they
they quote some of his observations
about the greatness of the jews
okay now what's interesting in the
forward or the introduction of the book
mr johnson uh says one thing he says you
know
i've studied these people for a great
deal of time
and i've gone through their whole
history and i feel that i really kind of
understand
this group of people except one thing
there's just one thing about these jews
that i just don't get
what was that he says i just don't get
all their focus on leaving egypt
why was that such a big deal you know i
just
i i don't understand their emphasis on
this
so my review would just chuckle he's
like
he says he only forgot he only doesn't
understand the most important of all
he just he didn't get the whole
important thing
so uh i have to be honest with you for
many years
i was with paul johnson like why is it
such a focus
i was with him you know i was like oh
yeah review
morning and every evening exactly it's a
smiths ryan
right every kid-ish you make on shabbos
zachary
smith ryan all the hogging zecharians
ryan
30 days before the holiday uh
cleaning beer hummus halachas of pesach
right lael seder
hours and hours of the adsense man's
rhyme it really does seem a bit extreme
no
so i heard his question
for a long time i heard his question and
then
another hush of rob of the old city era
kodish
viktor nevinsol shlita i think he gives
a very good answer to this
why are we so constantly focused
on leaving egypt you'd see a smiths ryan
and what he said which was about i don't
know 10
15 years ago at least it is even
more relevant today and he says like
this
he says 24
7 365
121 120
uh we are bombarded with the
opposite of the reality of hashem
controlling the world running the world
directing the world
we are bombarded with the opposite the
the you know the this election in this
politician
and and this vaccine and this uh
pandemic and
on and on and on but but now just to add
to that
you know there's a famous uh uh uh dr
mary came now called the social dilemma
you know and i just can't fathom how
many people
are dealing with the dilemma of the
internet
and the media and the you know the
conspiracy theories
the the the facts the fake facts that
this and that
were bombarded with everything
but a cottage for who runs the world he
created the world he
manages it he does it for good etcetera
the message the messages of you
are blunted all the time
and therefore it is so important we need
to be reminded constantly
day and night and a month and every
shabbos and every holiday
you'd see as destroying the messages are
critical
right we need to we need to combat this
now i want to discuss kind of the
brilliance
of the fact that we have a later
which is an intense focus you know
really
the whole week et cetera but leo ceda's
is intense
and then we know we have moz kieran
yetzis mitzrayim
morning and evening so to
to give you a kind of understanding of
the brilliance
of the torah and hazal there's a say for
a great safer
uh called heshbonnenefish that was
written
in the time of revision cilantro several
hundred years ago
and in this book he um presents a path
to master your character traits and get
rid of
poor poor character traits etc
right and his his method i'm simplifying
it
his method is this let's say you want to
work on removing
anger so what you do first of all
is you immerse in studying the torah's
understanding of
anger and you get into all sorts of
hazal and listens and you you
mummish learn it deeply and then if you
will
you make a book report right you make a
summary of it
okay and that immersion is step one
and then you try to boil it down to like
just a sentence
or two in other words you after you now
want to track yourself you want to
eliminate the anger so after you did
your immersion
you need to trigger and arouse your
consciousness on a daily basis but you
have to do that with just like a one
line or a simple
point right so you immer but now how
effective
is the trigger if you haven't done the
immersion
i doubt it's very effective okay and
it's interesting you know uh
i tell my friends i i try my best to
study
um self-development personal development
and i listen to it the non-jewish
uh thinkers and and coaches and
etc etc in the field so there's one uh
person who's one of those personal
development coaches extraordinarily
successful extraordinary
and he said that um he heard he works
with like top top
you know billionaire ceos and xyz
so you know he said that one of the
suggestions that he said had the most
impact was giving uh
is teaching them to use triggers you
know they have phones or they have
alarms or
rabbi michael has a palm pilot you know
and you put a little reminder
right and it says you know don't snap at
the kids today
and it pops up at 11 p.m and
12 30 and what et cetera right but
those are tre he says the trigger
concept and by the way this is very
important as we
we move into phase two of klm of living
kavana
the work on triggers but the point is
this look at hazal
you immerse in lael seder and then
every morning and every evening every
day of your life
you get triggered but the trigger will
be wonderful
if we approach the seder in a powerful
way okay
that's our goal and that's that's that's
what we have to do
so now let's discuss
in terms of the immersion where do we
really need to focus in the haggadah
okay now what i by the way
you know it's funny when i say that
where do you focus in the gutter
if you study the haggadah of the malden
you realize that you you have to be
very uh how do i put it strategic
very strategic when you go through the
haggadah
and he points out that the whole first
ch
section from uh you know even from a
vadim hyena
and manuscript all of that is
just describing how to do the mitzvot
who does the mitzvah
it's basically preparation for the
gutter but not the
gut itself and you know it was funny i
was in a shul
and these two guys these two fellows you
know they didn't have a lot of time i
guess with pesticide preparations
but they decided they would learn for
five minutes about the haggadah
and i listened to them and they were
doing like this like
deep analysis in manishtana about the
language and this and i was like oh no
they are so far from the the main part
of the gutter
i decided not to butt in but but anyhow
so let me just tell you this point uh
just practically speaking for everybody
okay according to the melbourne
it's really the place to start focusing
your
your in your immersion and your study
and your preparation for the kids
and i'll tell you i give my kids
assignments but anyhow
it's from in the beginning our fathers
were over de avoda zara
and then that's the start of the actual
uh the story okay and all those verses
about uh lavon and being and being uh
persecuted and crying out hashem the
mirror
very central very central focus
additionally the uh robin
the the the esser makko we're going to
talk about miracles in one second
the the ten ma makos very central
understanding the media connected meter
right the measure for measure
of the midstream did this and they got a
a maca that did that
back to them because they did okay very
central and finally red
uh ramen gum lilz uh anyone who doesn't
appreciate the reason for the three
eating mitzvahs
right of corbin pesach matzah and maru
says they didn't fulfill their
obligation et cetera those
are those the central parts i repeat
from the
in the beginning they were overdone
voters are through all the verses from
parshas picorin the ten makos
and robin gamlin that's the body of the
haggadah
put your efforts there and a trick you
know because
if you have children what you want to do
and if you don't you
need children some should give you a big
brother to have children
but anyhow if you have kids if you
what we try to do is to if necessary
bribe them whatever but to get them to
come up with questions in those sections
if you can there's many ways to do the
skin the cat but that's one way i do
and then i try to prepare the questions
respond okay that's practical
but let's go back to the mindset for the
haggadah
and here's a big thing you know
we're going to talk about halal tour
hallel
um it's very interesting holly is
beautiful
uh beautiful to hillam but the gemara
amsakham says
if anyone says hallel on a daily basis
they're if you will they're they're just
denigrating and cursing a shim
shocking right so what that means is
this
um yeah yeah it does it what it means is
what we call halal hamitzeri right
and there's this special hollow we say
on rosh kodesh
and all the yom tovs uh with your
bitsaysis real menstrualiam and all
those
that is and then that
that section of hollow is for open
miracles
okay and the proper time for that
is in a time where open miracles
occurred
but if you're like just talking about
hashem's open miracles in times where
it's not on a daily basis
you're denigrating the beauty and
miracles in nature
okay but i bring this up pause
but you do focus on open miracles now
and we are lucky we are allowed to focus
on open miracles
what do i mean rabbi victor miller is a
talent and
many of you i i know subscribe to him so
you might know this
what a way to put it he says hashem
hates miracles hashem hates open
miracles
what does that mean you know he says if
a person gives their word
and they're a man of their word or woman
of their word
if they have to go back on the word
that's not comfortable
right so hashem roshamar of ahilam
hashem's word was i'm going to run the
world
through nature right that's
how i do things that's how i want to do
things because i want to give all of you
a chance to play
uh seek seek me and discover me and
and use your free will that's the plan
nature is the plan so if you will when
hashem
breaks the laws of major he's like
breaking his world
if you will he doesn't normally do this
but when he does it when he makes open
miracles
we have to scramble and take hold of it
and
integrate it hashem's doing it so of
course
we'll relate to all life differently as
it says
okay you know there's so many places if
you saw that mitchells of wilson
there's so many places it talks about um
doing the haggadah telling over the
story
but in parsha's bow it opens up there
and says i go to parole because i
hearted in his heart
right because i want to and i'm going to
say
i want you to be able to relate to your
children
and your children's children
that i am hashem i want them to hear
about the
open miracles so you'll know so you'll
know that i am hashem
right so hashem says and rabbi moore
points out
he's saying i'm doing this now in egypt
so you can tell your children and
grandchildren which implies i'm not
doing it again
it's this story it's these miracles
these incredible openings and
revelations that will make you know for
sure that i'm hashem
right so now's the time now's the time
to immerse
in the miracles the open miracles he did
it now
and he did it so we can cement and then
again
this is the immersion and then when we
have the triggers of the itsy smith ryan
will keep us going
and it'll help us fight against the
media and the politics
and the uh science and the medicine and
all these things that conceal
the hand of hashem that is guiding
nature and guiding history
we so desperately need to remind
ourselves a bit so
what's my message obviously we have to
be in an open
miracle mindset and we have to look at
the mid-rushing look at that
there's incredible things and incredible
descriptions and we need to drink the
mim on lel seder
now uh i'm just gonna just do a little
bit of that
but i'm really putting it in your camp
uh to find that and we know there's so
much on
online that you can do this but
it's very interesting okay where
uh in this thing where it says i'm doing
this
so to go into the ears of your children
and grandchildren
so you know i'm hashem there's a
particular stress
um on telling over one of the ten makos
in particular
now of course the the the firstborn play
was super important
you might think it's blood and and the
dom is amazing we spoke about last time
after the maca of dom right
they st it was so heavy they stopped uh
subjugating us
but no re guess what's the uh where
hashem says make sure you tell this over
arbeit the locusts right so the locusts
believe me every single maca is
so amazing when you look at the
midrussian but about arba there's just
some very interesting things
okay here's one that many people might
not know and take
write it down as they say take this down
this is a good one
is all the makos lasted seven days in a
row
right a full week right except
arba it said it says the
um arbor via nach and they have a gazer
sheva they didn't fall in shabbos
meaning the the the maka was going boom
boom
boom boom and on shabbos there was not a
locust to be
uh to be found so that's one of the
miracles
is that the locusts rested on shabbos to
show you the kedusha of shabbos
right that's one miracle the other thing
is
they were able to they were able to
actually determine the borders of
egypt with all the neighboring countries
because
the locusts didn't spill over a single
nanometer but everything they did
they defined the borders of ryan this is
i'm just doing one maca here just and
bits of one maca right
but you know in the mid screen here's
another one the midstream said
okay let's see what do you do when
you're given lemon
everyone knows you make lemonade so we
say they used to eat these locusts
right so all these locusts they salted
them
right and they prepare them they fill
them in their barrels
and guess what hashem said you with
every miracle by the way
the the quantity the timing was already
open open miracle but these creatures
did things that they don't normally do
so before i get to this thing about the
salting do you know that they didn't
just eat all the produce
they ate their jewelry and clothing
okay so they were miraculous orbit but
not only that
that when it came time for them to at
least you know
make lemonade every single locust
just vanished into thin air okay
these are the things that we have to get
really really
in our kishkas and get excited about and
by the way as i mentioned the first time
my review's really tough if you you have
a mitzvah
with your children right you want your
children
and uh your adults your teenage kids you
want them excited so how do you get how
do you help them have a religious
experience have a religious experience
in their presence
you have to become so filled with
excitement that they see it
it's intoxicating you want to get them
drunk not just on the arbicosas
but on the open miracles okay
so that's the mindset and that's the
focus
focus on the open miracles another step
in the haggadah is we have to draw
lessons from the haggadah if we
we want to strengthen our muna we want
to strengthen our children's
ammuna that's where our goal is right so
how do you do that
you try to extrapolate use beena and you
try to extrapolate from what happened to
them and what happened now
so boy i have one for you okay
what happens uh the uh as we know in the
last
86 years in mitzrayim
it was like nazi germany yamaksha mam on
both of them
okay and it was getting
so brutal and we have to also realize
that you know we know that tremendous
challenges
people's amuna in the holocaust the
holocaust was
five six years and it was horrific and
maybe incomparable but still
86 years of just brutal subjugation and
a feeling like shem's not there
so towards the end of this 86th year
they are so broken so assimilated
so steeped in the studio the avodah zara
that it's just they're basically gone
and they're in
tremendous agony and pain
and then they cry out to hashem
they knit sakuya shim they directed
their pain and suffering to the right
address they
cry out to boom hashem
pays attention which means he begins
and kicks off the
[Music]
the maca that would stop everything the
first market and then
onwards it came because they just
reached that plate of desperation but
they still
pointed their hearts towards a shem
listen to this event that happened a
couple weeks ago
in edgeware okay i even i can tell you
the name of the man although
i i don't have it written down this was
comes from rely
reliable source who heard it from
the father okay there's a man in in
edgeware who is uh um
he's a big supporter of torah and he's a
big bald sadaka he's a very generous man
and his daughter was pregnant
and rahmanislan
the daughter had corona
and they did a c-section and they saved
the baby
and the daughter went into
just a horrible case of corona
and the case kept advancing
to the degree that they put her on this
ver i'm sure dr setzer knows
on us on a certain ventilator that
basically
this ventilator is the next step is is
the grave
shemirakhan there's only 40
there's only 40 of these ventilators
they have it in england
okay she was put on one of these
ventilators
and so the father um
he walks to some park over there
and he he just looks up at hashem
he raises his hands and he says hashem
we we said all the tehem
we said everything uh he starts crying
and he says please please
what can we do what can i do what can we
do
in a few hours uh her situation started
to improve
and it continued to improve in another
few hours
they took her off the ventilator
another few hours she's okay
and speaking she was on the death
ventilator she's
okay in speaking and her father comes to
see her
and she says you know abba i died
and i saw what was happening and he
looked at her you know
you you just had a tremendous crisis you
know he's like
brushing it off she goes no abba
i know you went to the park to pray for
me
and here's what you said and she told
him
everything every single thing that he
said
and not only that a week or so later and
somebody from an independent
report knew this there had been somebody
who died of corona not so long ago
and you know the wife was feeling
terrible ones that
but the woman said you know ex-person
had passed away
and he's in a very good place in the
heaven
and the truth is the wife was hoping
that was one thing she was trying to
hold on to is maybe my husband's in a
good place
so you see here
what happened this man reached the 86th
year
of of despair and he called out to
hashem he cried out to hashem
and then hashem made miracles you hear
this
so this is what we have to do we have to
take
these these message in the gut the gut
is
besides the miracles there's a story of
hashem in
us and it's an intimate story and
it it just tells us what we need to do
to feel a lot
to feel a muna living a muna right now
you hear this so that's
uh give me a second yeah
uh part one okay so
i want to next move to the we let's say
let's imagine we just finished the
haggadah
and now we say two
chapters apollo just two to hilum of
hollow
and i want us to realize we're shifting
gears a little bit
and we're going to understand cavanaugh
for the mitzvas of hollow
okay and i have a nice surprise for you
okay so i'm going to share a screen and
let's take a look
okay
uh my parrots yeah it's coming up
okay great all right come on
here we go okay look at this
according to many halal
on yomtov okay and we could give a whole
sheer cloly on this
that we're not but halal on yomtov
is believe it or not a torah commandment
a derisive commandment toward many
rashi is mash mitzvah naveem the rambam
says
holla's general but look at this the
smock
says like this this is a pasig not in
the navi
it's in davarian and it says like this
you should be your praise and tihila
means enthusiastic it's the same word
for halal
to heal us he's your source of intense
praise
[Music]
he did with
he did these marvelous and awesome deeds
that your eyes saw
what's that talking about open miracles
right
so when you're enthusiastically praising
hashem for open miracles
have in mind according to smach a
mitzvah daraisa
of halal right him and then
so the ron the ron bond doesn't focus it
that way
he says hallel is deraisa
on yomtov it's under the category of
visa vecha it's a branch of that
so it's not only wine and beautiful
jewelry and dresses
and and just being happy on yomtov
this now that's the thing who doesn't
love
arousing singing uh maybe rabbi salad
uh of hallel and hallow gets you excited
enjoy if you're enjoying harlow and
singing
right have in mind
it's an expression of simple on the hog
okay
so that's in general when you recite
hello
on lil seder well we say it twice
in in the morning in the usual i am at
night but also in the seder
have in mind the mitzvah darisa
according to the smok
and then visa mata vegeta okay but now
i'm going to take one to hillam that we
say even on rosh chodesh this is the
essence of halal misery
that says israel nimitz ryan and i want
to
show you that there's four mitzvahs
embedded in this one to helen so let me
show you that
okay okay here's the i'm just showing
you first of all the tahlem
again a nod to my wife for the graphics
okay
we all know the spectators real me miss
ryan basically
right uh notice the uh
um at the third verse talks about uh the
yara day
the and then we have this
the fourth verse talks about mountains
and hills skipping and jumping up
sound like anything you're familiar with
okay
get ready here we go four
open miracle mitzvahs the remawh
says in his commentary on tehelem that
you know the idea that uh
uh on lil seder we're supposed to see
ourselves leaving egypt
he says whenever hashem does open
miracles you should picture yourself
there says the rama
okay so take a look at this little
easy to remember the four mitzvahs
klm sound familiar no it's not in the
order of the verses but
you see why it did this you know i did
this k squared lm
klm kris yamsuf and chris yardin we'll
talk about this in a minute
you'd see a smiths ryan
so now let's look at the talent but says
israel meanwhile
yetis mitzrayim we have to realize it's
not just morning and night
it's not all else here it's one of those
misses like shabbos
every time you think about it you have a
mitzvah darisa
so whenever you think about the uh it's
the estimates ryan you're fulfilling so
have in mind the mitzvah yetis miss ryan
number one
okay that's leaving the triumph okay
but then it says this the see-saw and
fled right the yard and went step
backwards right so kris yamsuf
is was a separate miracle that we're
supposed to
zechar we're supposed to remember the
miracles hashem did
right and also creates a yarding
and you know what's very interesting in
the sheer show young when you say
adjavor hashem
right that's in the cheryl of the
splitting of the sea
so it's very repetitive language so
rashi says
you should take a look at uncles
uncles says the first crossing is yesis
ryan and the second is the yarding
crossing the yarding
and did you know ref hammer points out
that after the sweet split in the ordain
hashem said i want you to make 12 stones
here
so because later on your children should
be triggered
to ask you hey what happened here and
you have a mitzvah to tell your kids
about korea
the splitting of the of the jordan of
the yard
right so you hear this these are miss so
every time you say this to hillam
have in mind the mitzvah of remembering
izzia smith's rhyme
kris yamsu and the yard and the arden
was an incredible miracle
that terrified the surrounding nations
next
the rams skipping and the the mountains
skipping like rams
that's harsinai says the run bond the
har cena says
it's one of those mitzvahs every time
you think about mom and her senior you
should think about it on a daily basis
to get that mitza so those are four open
miracle mitzvahs
okay so i'm now gonna stop sharing
and we're gonna go to the last half of
this class
okay my pictures back yeah we're good
okay great what we discussed
okay just to to review we uh the first
year we had the cavanatation
the jewels and my wife made a beautiful
crown
uh of the ju the convention that we did
last week that we'll be posting for
those interested
that's number one we talked about that
the four cups
of of yai and the are are connected the
four stages of redemption and you should
place yourself there
on each stage right throughout the seder
we just completed our discussion of the
haggadah
the open miracle mindset right
we have to search for those open
miracles
to be turned on so our kids will be
turned on
we have to see links between what
happened to them
and what happened to that man in the
edge where nurse we have to make
connect the gutta to current day amuna
issues
okay and we just described the hollow
that
it completes this section of the seder
right these two things called hollow
misery
but then there's part two of the seder
okay and i want to explain this
um by sharing a discussion i had with a
a very good friend of mine and klm
uh barry goldstein a friend also of
shahool
um we uh we were talking about
uh um you know whatever the
the suffering difficulties that happens
the jews isn't that
so he shared with me that he was reading
a book by rabbi
sax called morality and
rabbi saxon described that when he was
uh he studied philosophy
uh and he had a professor was a non-jew
and he was talking about morality and he
said that
um there was one issue with the
professor he says the man was a
pessimist
and uh rabbi sack says you know he says
i'm a jew i'm an optimist
right so our good friend barry
with this great sincerity says rabbi
why are we optimistic
you look at jewish history and what
we've gone through and what we're going
through he's in
why are we optimistic right so
first of all i mean we can talk about
your survival okay
but worth it we're
you know i don't really like comparing
the torah with other religions because
this this is really reality not a
religion
but we're the we're the group of people
that are about the future right you know
the other thing present
now the universe all faith this and that
we're about the future
we believe in the future right and that
belief
is amidst the doris according to the
smock
and this get ready for this what i'm
trying to say
is the second section of the seder
is all about the final redemption
and that's a big mitzvah as the smok
explains like this
when we go up to the shema admiral
besides asking did you set time to learn
torah and were you honest in business
we're going to be asked
so peacefully yeshua did you yearn
expectantly for the gaula
now the the stock says like this if
that's one of the first questions we're
going to have to answer
how could that not be a torah
commandment it must be a torah
commandment
and he says you know what the torah
commandment is
anoki the first of the ten commandments
rhyme the base of money i'm god who took
you out of
egypt and from the house of slaves now
says this smug
do you think hashem's goal was just to
get us out of egypt
even even at the snack he said i'm going
to be with you in
all those exiles i know they're going to
be exits
but what what am i going to do i'm going
to take you to eric's israel i'm going
to build an eternal base of mig dash
and there's going to be a goola shleima
that's of course hashem's purpose
right so the whole idea of
the first commandment is you i believe
and know that i took you out of egypt
and i'm gonna take you out of
all these exiles and bring you to the
final redemption
right so according to this every time
it's all of your prayers it's over
you're benching and all of michigan
you're always bri you're in the basement
and redemption
him have in mind enoki that mitzvah
but now with that frame with that frame
i want just realize we open the door
and say you know
the kosovo navi and the halal
second section is all about the gula
lolano hashem
[Music]
it's all about the final redemption so
you hear
that the seder takes a turn at that
point and
we're yearning for the goola that's what
we're doing
so have in mind have the mitzvah of
enoki
so i to close i want to try to answer
that original question
okay i said let's say
you uh don't treat let's say you really
integrate everything we said and by the
way i know you have a lot of homework
remember we have all those mixes of the
seder and we have the conventions
and we have the cabanas for the four
things and we the open miracle
i know there's a lot but you know this
is big
right don't you want those angels to be
saying
i'm blown away by these people they have
so much kibana so
is it possible that we can and yet
they're going to be displeased
listen to this story i think it's a true
story
okay it's brilliant you're not going to
believe this this is for those who have
two days of young
two two seders okay
there was a couple uh that
um really took preparing for the seder
super seriously
and they studied it and immersed in it
and
it was they they really did it
beautifully
and they're saying they went on talking
about mitts ryan which was supposed to
go on all night
they went on until three or four in the
morning
and it was a beautiful seder
right momish beautiful and uh
so you know obviously they're a little
exhausted and um
they wake up you know uh you know they
study
obviously the chakras and the masuda on
yomtov richon
they wake up and they
can't believe the time
it's let's say hatsos lila
is 12 40. it's
10 minutes to midnight
they slept through all that they had 40
minutes
40 50 minutes to do the whole seder
they're frantic and panicked
and they rushed with they did everything
they could and they got the seder done
after that i don't know if it was
next day something like this one of them
had a dream
and there were where they got admit
there was a thing from the shamayim they
had a dream they said
you know thank god for your second seder
did you hear that they got a message
saying boy you saved yourself with that
second seder
why they said you know when you did that
first seder you were just like
really filled with arrogance you were so
arrogant
and you know the second say you were
just really
you had a kind of a broken heart you did
with humility
and simcha and that saved you
so i think you understand one of the
biggest
challenges as we grow spiritually
and we grow in kevana is to forget
that it's not
my my
brilliant mind my spiritual efforts my
this and that
you know there's a mistake we have to
have in mind
and very important to seder it's um
to remember that hashem did it and not
uh that it's not the strength and power
of my hands that made this heil in other
words
you know the whole thing is in mitzrayim
is we cried out recognition that we need
you hashem
desperately and that's the message to
know that really
we're just going through the motions you
know around
ramsay says an incredible idea
hashtagless
is only a weak form of prayer
right prayer is the main establishment
right
so if you factor in all the blessings
thank god you know
hashem gave you a certain amount of
intelligence he exposed you to good
torah teachers
he gave you a good family and friends if
you factor in on hashem did you're
humbled and you say wow
wow it's really all you so
please do everything in your power
to make those angels stunned by your
kavana and connection
but don't forget that it's really all
just we're being propped up and
supported
and guided by our divine parent who is
loving us and infusing us and just let's
remain
maintain humility uh and that'll really
really connect us
to the yadashim okay kosher some
[Music]
mayonnaise
[Music]
