Thank you.
Good afternoon everybody.
Today at
13:45
um there's going to be a wire receiver
for
fire and smoke
coming from
coming from um
coming from 5311 4th Hamilton Parkway.
Uh Engine 247, Ladder 148. We're here
within 3 and 1/2 minutes of the fire.
Battalion 4 rolled. We have smoke in the
after and transmitted a 10-75. They had
heavy smoke pushing out from the
doorways. Uh as they arrived, as they
began to force entry into the doorways,
they had reports of possible invite back
and fire inside smoke fire inside. Uh
they wound up not being there. They
wound up being in the commercial
occupancy next door. Uh it just wound up
being large amounts of stock that were
on fire. Fire had begun to burn through
the room that stock, burn up through the
floor, and the fire eventually extended
up through the building and through the
roof. Uh so we had to go to a third
alarm, which consists of about 92 fire
units and EMS units
and about 200 personnel overall with the
amount of people that were here.
We had five hand lines stretched and put
to operation. Uh we had a tower ladder
that was set up to help knock down the
fire as well. Uh with that, uh
fire fighters worked valiantly and
bravely uh containing the fire to the
original fire building, not allowing it
to extend to either attached
which again uh we take as a win. We can
anytime we can wind up with no fire or
injury
and nobody uh injured inside the
occupancy. There were some first minor
injuries, which I'll let uh Chief
Cassiola talk about. Um we take that as
a win and thank uh we were able to
contain it to the original fire
building. With that, I'll let Chief
Cassiola talk.
Good afternoon.
