ra thank you for all of the supporters
the sponsors the different wonderful
people that are supporting our
work uh it's a uh a blessing to have
such amazing people uh and again uh it's
um so many different things that we're
working on it's uh hard to keep track of
all the different wonderful things but
each day we have new videos coming up uh
being published each day there are new
Wars each day there are new uh uh winds
and uh different
projects lots and lots of things so now
last night in
our uh we delved a little bit into the
rambam uh in in essence uh telling us
how there are phys there are physically
sick people andm is there are many today
with this whole Corona virus and many
other viruses that we don't know of uh
many people that are getting uh uh
vaccines many people that are not
getting vaccines uh many people that uh
uh the vaccine is the least of their
problems because their spiritual issues
are much much
worse uh point being is that there is a
lot going on in the world and uh really
the the ultimate good of a is that he's
given us a Tora that gives us the
solutions gives us the
diagnosis uh gives us an understanding
of how and what we need to do and um one
of the main things that we see as a
problem in the world today is that uh
the biggest plague that we have in the
world today is a plague of ignorance
where you have a generation full of
ignorant people uh led by many not all
but many uh people that choose to keep
the generation a ignorant uh either by
Mist teachings that are a result of
weakness or anxiety or M teachings that
are intentional and and thereby
heretical and
dangerous and really one of the uh
things that uh I think that uh caught my
eyes uh recently and you know we uh we
publicized it recently was a writing by
uh the ra vdor Miller ra Vidor Miller
really hit this on the nail as he always
did but
had something out of out of this world
of how he understood Society in his time
and ours and uh it wasn't that long ago
that he was uh in the world among uh
among men and teaching us how to be
angels and uh one of the things that uh
he discussed is different issues in
regards to the Holocaust uh what's the
truth you know why did uh where was God
during the Holocaust cost the famous
question and obviously would always
answer uh as uh God is the one that did
the you know he's the one that pressed
the buttons and brought the Holocaust
anyone that thinks contrary to that is
simply an aicos is a
heretic um and um one of the things that
you see in the world today and uh also
in in the past is that people as a
result of their own uh anxiety as a
result of their own uh um
weakness as a result of their own
heretical beliefs as a result of their
own emotions could be all could be some
uh generally end up falling into the
Trap of the Satan and believing
something or teaching something worse
yet uh that is contrary and antithetical
to the tah and one of the things we
talked about last night is a uh again
another aicos
uh uh uh teachings by uh AOS teachings
by um uh a rabbi Weinberger and
obviously the the others that we've
talked about in the
past and uh you know people ask me some
questions about it after they've watched
the sh or you know should we do this
should we do that I mean it's a maybe uh
there's a different way of doing kiru
perhaps uh not everybody has to be fire
and brimstone and I think the the Shure
itself answered itself
but one of the things I want to talk
about um is before we go into the
questions is number one why do we have
to be
so um fiery if you will when it comes to
the protest against
Mings when it comes to the
protest uh and the public rebuke of
those people that teach things that are
antithetical to the tah teach things
that are against the Torah if you will
in a simple
language uh why do we have to be the uh
you know the the the one that has to
talk about it because I mean for all
intents and purposes in the English
language uh you're you know fighting
alone almost uh there's not many of us
that are talking about this uh and even
the ones that do talk about uh different
uh M teachings and bad teachings that
are in the in the public today generally
speaking do not mention
names uh like we do uh so why is it why
is it that we have to do it so first and
foremost everyone has to understand is
that I don't take a step or make a phone
call or or or do anything without
instructions for my R without
discussions for
my uh and uh and these things although
they seem sometimes like as if it's off
off the cuff it just happened many times
these things are things that are built
up over a long period of time talked
about and discussed over a long period
of time before I bring it up to the
public and uh generally speaking when we
get to the point of making something
public it's when it we've gotten to the
point where it's we can't not bring it
up we can't not bring it up we have to
bring it up and the reason why we
mention names is because if there is is
a general danger to the public then we
mentioned things that are General but if
there is a specific danger a specific
danger then you have to mention the
specific danger I can't tell you there's
generally bad teachings when I know that
there's really more of a specific uh
danger uh you can't tell people listen
don't take any medicine even though
there's only problems with one medicine
so you have to be more specific because
since we are living in a a generation uh
of ignorance a generation of balua a
generation of weakness among all
communities but
nonetheless easy access to T and A lot
more people learning T today than they
were in previous generations uh so
there's good and bad and there's there's
ups and downs but nonetheless you have
to know how to deal with the
generation so because most people don't
know what they don't know and most
people don't know where the apparent
danger is unless you specify it for them
and you're really really uh precise with
the uh yes and no and this is really one
of the
original uh debates that my R and I
would have constantly you know back and
forth of of doing this or doing that and
uh not debates like we're disagreeing
but nonetheless just trying to figure
out what's the best way to deliver the
em and uh and many times there are there
are things that we see that that are
wrong but we don't even really talk
about it because we don't want to bring
more light to something that's full of
darkness when it have when no one really
knows about it or it's very little uh
people are affected by it really the
only times we bring something to the
public uh that's more specific is when
it is getting to a point where or it has
gotten to a point where it's affecting a
massive amount of people uh so for
example in last night's example the the
wine bag uh Burger situation uh I
already saw the video when it first came
out somebody brought it to my attention
and we didn't bring it to you uh we
didn't mention it to you and the reason
why is because although it was heresy at
the time although I discussed it with my
r at the time we didn't bring it up
because we saw that it didn't really
have many hits no one really saw it and
because we're basing our uh information
only on YouTube and YouTube it only had
I don't know like 100 uh views so
there's no point of bringing attention
to that when there's only 100 views uh
so uh the only reason why we had to
bring it up yesterday
is because we found out that on
different channels uh such as Facebook
there were several hundred, views uh
meaning there were many many many people
tens of thousands of people if not
hundreds of thousands of people that
have been misled uh by this video uh to
think that uh God loves everyone God
doesn't punish anyone and so on and so
forth all this nonsense that he said now
so we have to mention things by because
there's a specific danger you know you
can't just say there's a dead end Street
somewhere in the neighborhood you have
to be more specific you can't just say
there's a general danger in the city you
have to tell them where the neighborhood
is and even if you could pinpoint the
house and the person you have to do it
because again people don't know and many
times until I mention the names even
though I sometimes I try to be General
and I try to do things a little bit
differently and tell people what to stay
away from many times people continue
listening to these Heretics until I
mention them by name and even then
sometimes they insist on insisting
listening to them anyway but the point
being is is that uh we have to do things
precisely directly and uh take the
burden of the headaches and the other
types of uh uh uh risks that come with
it uh simply because again it's for the
public good now why do we have to do all
of this why doesn't anybody else do it
or very few uh well first off it's
because it's a very very big headache uh
it's it's a constantly uh dealing with
people's disagreements especially the
fans and the supporters of those other
people uh the all types of uh political
issues within the uh within the field uh
you know other people that uh were your
friends disagree with your view and you
know sometimes even become uh not your
friends or even less uh so the point is
it comes with a lot of headaches that uh
most people just simply don't want to
deal with most people just don't want to
deal with and uh I think that is a
disservice to the public I think it's
very important that public knows what
danger they're facing simply because if
we don't know what danger we're facing
even if we're doing something good it's
all going to be ruined by the danger now
Miller although he wouldn't necessarily
mention names on a regular basis he
didn't mention names of aim and Heretics
uh from time to time but one of the
things they wrote in a uh uh in one of
his lectures it's uh uh tape
e139 is the whole issue of dealing with
amalik and he writes when the on the
question of what was the crime of
amalik that we are expected to
rememberd Miller says Amal committed the
crime of crimes it was the crime of
destroying Amal the reason why we're
commanded by Hashem to not only never
forget Amal but to destroy Amal because
amal's ultimate goal in life ultimate
purpose in its Creation in essence is to
cool the crowd down cool people off make
sure that they're not afraid of God make
sure that they are uh friends with God
if you will but definitely not afraid of
him uh and at the time at the time says
uh all the nations saw the Miracles that
made for
Amal uh destroyed all of that because
while everybody else was afraid of
am uh after we left Egypt uh Amal all of
a sudden decided to attack us and in
essence after everyone else saw that we
were attacked the uh he uh everyone else
wanted to also fight us as well so says
that we have a commandment not to forget
Amal which means that we have to keep in
mind how great is the crime of those who
are going
against where instead of keeping the
public uh informed of the dangers of
going against the Torah of the dangers
of desecrating hashem's name instead of
doing that they not only don't teach it
but they actually teach things that are
against it by telling people to just God
loves you no matter what mhia will save
everyone
uh you know every Jew has a share of the
world to come and all types of teachings
like it or perhaps even worse where they
even go against teachers like myself
like ra M uh like RAB and others that
talk about and actually uh discourage
people from listening to this type of
teachings so says those who
are those that go against it that's who
in essence what we're trying to fight
against which also includes newspapers
also includes people that make fun of
the Torah uh also includes writers that
are attacking from Jews and ridic
ridiculing Jews and
Judaism uh this obviously was at the
time uh very common in Poland and Russia
and and other places in the past uh but
in America it's it's grown drastically
since the time he wrote this or or said
this in a
lecture but he said all of these people
you should know all of these people that
are constantly going against the
teachings
of are under the curse of amalik and for
he says this specifically anybody that
comes to
destroy is the is the worst of our
enemies because that's the number one
thing when people know know that Hashem
is the king then the world is a happy
place and that's why the outmost effort
should be invested first of all he says
more than anything else toward its
gaining an awareness of
hasem that the awareness of hem is the
first of all wisdom people should be
aware of hem they should learn to think
about Hashem to see the wisdom of Hashem
the kindness of Hashem and then on that
basis you can build all the rest all the
great achievements of character and
happiness in life so in essence what
says that this whole mitvah of
destroying Amal is not just going
against specific Nation uh from adome
and and idolatry but rather even someone
that could be a nextdoor neighbor a uh a
family member a local r a r that that's
very uh big in the world as far as
popularity is concerned it could be
anybody it's in essence anyone that
teaches things that are contrary to the
foundation of the tah which is teachings
of now last night we went over the first
in chapter
two of what the rambam in essence is
telling us is what are these these
spiritually ill people
and how you can diagnose a person of
being spiritual ill simply by them not
liking to talk
about not liking even not liking AEM and
so on and so forth the more they dislike
the more they detest it the more
spiritually sick they are tonight I want
to actually go a little bit further into
the other because someone asked a very
good question uh you know and we've
talked about this in the past but I
think it's a it's a uh it's important to
go over some things sometimes more than
once which is really what is the right
way to teach Torah what is the right way
to teach Torah but not just to teach
Torah but to teach Torah to this
generation if you were talking about the
generation of mosenu there's really no
uh no quals about it mosenu obviously
hadem as his teacher as his he knew
exactly what he was doing you're not
going to need to give
advice if you were sitting in one of the
classes of the rambam you knew exactly
what he was doing so when you when you
lived in generations of of of past
Generations you saw that teachers did
certain things what about a generation
like we have right now a generation of
uh of ignorance a generation of
materialism and so on and so forth how
do you deal with those uh with the
people of today what actually works well
the truth be told is that in order for
us to succeed
in teaching T we have to number one
understand the
psychological me the mentality of the
generation where they stand but also see
if the spoke about them too and of
course as you already know or could
assume yes they did they did speak about
an ignorant generation they did speak
about a generation that's full of
materialism and so on and in fact the
rambam is the one that told us how to do
K how to teach Torah and uh ultimately
this is one of the foundational
principles that we learned from the
rambam and teach like the rambam and
exactly the way that MOS raenu taught
where thear says that when Moser raenu
went to ganeden and left this world that
the Hashem cried hasem cried over it and
the reason why thear says because no one
can teach t with the with the fear of
Heaven like mosu did
so it's a in essence AEM
wanted to be taught with but how much
doesm want that how much well
the chapter two number one first he says
that those who are physically
sick the bitter tastes sweet the sweet
tastes bitter some of the sick even
desire and crave that which is not fit
to eat such as Earth and charcoal and
hate healthy food such as bread and meat
and all depending on how serious the
sickness similarly those who are morally
ill desire and love bad traits hate the
good path and are lazy to follow
it depending on how sick they are they
find it exceedingly burdensome to do the
mitv and he brings Isaiah 5:
20 where he says speak to uh uh Isaiah
speaks of such people woe to those who
call the bad good and the good bad who
take Darkness to be light and light to
be Darkness who take bitter to be sweet
and Sweet to be bitter and concerning
them schl says in Proverbs 2:3 those who
leave the upright path to walk in the
ways of
darkness and what is the remedy for the
morally ill they should go to the wise
for they are the healers of the Soul
they will heal them by teaching them how
to acquire proper traits until they
return them to the good path in essence
the r and we're repeating what we said
last night for anyone who already
watched last night and anyone who didn't
obviously gets the benefit of hearing it
again hearing it for the first time uh
that in essence there are physically
sick people and you could in essence
diagnose the level of sickness based on
how these people are reacting to what's
good for them and versus what's bad for
them if they're Desiring the bad
obviously they're very very sick the
same thing goes when it comes to morals
when it comes to spirituality when a
person desires what's bad for him when a
person desires what Hashem said is
forsaken it's prohibited when a person
desires what is evil to society then
that person is spiritually sick the more
he desires what's evil the more he
desires lying the more he desires
cheating
the more he desires adultery the more
she desires immodesty the more she
desires to to be the center of attention
and
arrogance the more spiritually sick they
are and the solution in essence the uh
the uh vaccine for these spiritually ill
people the medicine actually for these
spiritually ill people is to go
to that go going to heal their soul by
teaching them M because musar is the
specific teachings uh that uh teaches
how to acquire proper character traits
how to fix your character traits the
anger the arrogance the uh the ego the
uh stinginess and so on and so forth and
return them to a good path so in essence
here what is the r I'm really talking
about he's talking about what we call
today
k k to the public K to the masses K to
your local Yeshiva K to your aim K to
your community K to General cloud is K
even to people that are Torah Scholars
this is in essence he's referring to is
this is how you teach you have to teach
them based on the level of their
spiritual sickness some will be wise in
many things and have weaknesses in few
and some will have many weaknesses and
very little wisdom in certain things the
point is you have to teach people based
on where they are and obviously we all
know where the generation is at large
now the next Al which we did not go over
yesterday is where he goes into a little
bit more
detail and he says how are they to be
healed these spiritually sick people
we tell them we tell the wrathful man to
train himself to feel no
reaction if he is beaten or
cursed he should follow this course of
behavior for a long time until the anger
is uprooted from his
heart this is one of the most difficult
things that a person that is angry will
ever experience in his life which is in
essence con take coning his anger
containing her
anger your husband just said something
that really really rubs you the wrong
way keep it quiet why that's the
solution in order for you to cure your
spiritual sickness your wife just said
something that simply drives you
crazy don't
respond don't
respond stay quiet why that's the Cure
that's the cure to your spiritual
sickness if you're an angry
person now for those who say no no I'm
not an angry person I just get angry
when people get me angry well that's
what makes you an angry person if you
were getting angry when no one's making
you angry that would make you a mental
case you would have to go to a mental
institution if you're angry when people
making you angry that means you're an
angry person the quicker you get angry
the more of an angry person you are
meaning the more severe your spiritual
sickness is but nonetheless everyone
gets angry to a certain extent some of
us more some of us less but nonetheless
writes The Cure is you have to be able
to contain your anger the man who is
full of Pride should cause himself to
experience much disgrace he should sit
in the lowliest of places dressed dress
in tattered Rags which shame the wearer
and the like until the arrogance is
uprooted from his heart and he returns
to the middle path which is the proper
path when he returns to the middle path
he should walk in it the rest of his
life so he says someone that's arrogant
which unfortunately is a epidemic of its
own because that's in essence what they
teach in society today the more arrogant
you are the more successful you'll be in
life we just had a president that had an
arrogance of its own it should have
probably had its own term in the in
presidency we uh have a many arrogant
celebrities that are teaching the public
all types of nonsense we have many
arrogant teachers and and
other leaders arrogance in essence is
running rampant in
society and the Raam says that in order
to cure this arrogance that a person has
to bring much disgrace to himself one of
the things that you could actually see
that uh not that I recommend to watch TV
ever but I remember for my secular days
and may Hashem forgive me uh that there
was actually a show uh in those days I
don't know if it's still around but
there was a show called Undercover Boss
which this show was a business show
where the CEO major executive of a
company a founder of a
company would pretend to be just a
regular Average Joe that just got a job
and has some type of documentary being
done about him and uh he would go and
start working like a regular Joe in the
company and he would have a costume of
some kind uh changes uh His Image and he
would work with the average blue color
person in his company cleaning the floor
cooking a burger and and getting to meet
all of the people that are really
powering the company you know it's not
the executives that power the company
but rather the people that are actually
doing uh the grind work that are
powering each company and he got to S
things that he doesn't see in his
day-to-day life simply because when
you're in the you know the uh the the
sea level position you're an executive
of a company uh you're a white color
type of worker you don't get to see uh
much of the personal experiences of the
guy that's making Hamburger or the guy
that's cleaning toilets or the guy
that's changing mufflers and and and all
types of things you get to make
decisions based on computer images of
numbers and different types of graphs
and all types of waste of time meetings
and boardrooms and so on so you don't
get to see all that stuff you don't get
to see the real engine of the company so
these Executives that you
multi-millionaires in some cases even
billionaires will get to see and deal
and you know rub shoulders with people
they never met met and would never meet
in their life that actually work for
them and time and time again the show
would show how this executive gets
humbled by seeing how many
difficulties these people go through
just to make their salary for the year
there that he literally makes in a week
just how much difficulty and Agony they
deal with in life whether it's marriage
issues or parents or kids or financial
or medical and so on and so forth he
gets to see all the difficulties and how
dedicated they are or sometimes how
undedicated they are to their work how
reliable they are how unreliable they
are and many times you'd see these
Executives get emotional and humbled not
necessarily changing their life per se
but at least uh for the show's sake they
would uh they would do some nice things
for some of those people and uh make
certain changes sometimes for the entire
company and that's really just a
microscopic a uh example of what the ram
is actually referring to if you want to
deal with arrogance if you want to deal
with arrogance you have to come back to
earth if you have succeeded in life and
you are very very wealthy spend some
time in a nursing home spend some time
in a homeless shelter spend some time
feeding and communicating with people
that are needy uh spend some time with
people that are not as successful as you
uh if you are an arrogant person for
different reasons then spend some time
uh looking into helping people that
don't have necessarily your fortune but
quite the opposite and not spend some
time by going in there as the uh as the
Savior oh yeah I'm going to you know you
don't have a house I'm going to buy you
a house that's not necessarily going to
uh humble you that just actually
possibly will fuel your arrogance even
further but instead spend some time like
them go walk there be there and see how
it is uh to deal with their struggles
and really to make keep it safe what I'm
referring to is listen to them go talk
to a few at the nursing home at the
shelter uh the next time that the uh
poor guy comes to you for it taka invite
him into your uh into your uh home and
actually give him something to eat and
let's you know allow him to speak and
listen to him don't just you know give
money and Sh away if you have an
arrogance issue it's very important for
you to do such a thing because because
the only way you're going to realize
that you are in a different
inappropriate world is when you realize
that real life is not what you're living
you're living an illusion and the same
concept goes for everything else if
you're are very smart and you're
surrounded by a bunch of people that are
less than you then don't just you know
stand on top of them and say I'm smarter
than everybody else hear some of them
out and see where they're out see what
kind of struggles they're dealing with
the point being is is get out of
yourself and put yourself in a situation
that's the exact opposite because at the
very best case scenario it'll humble you
to realize the gifts that you have uh at
the at the very least it'll make you
appreciate uh AEM for all of the gifts
that he's given you uh even if it
doesn't necessarily humble you but at
least it'll make you more uh you know
have more gratitude
for so that's in essence what the ram is
referring to further he says that one
should take a similar course with each
and other uh trait that he has a person
who is swayed in the direction of one of
the extreme should move in a direction
of the opposite extreme and accustom
himself to that for a long time meaning
that weak show that they do is not
enough it obviously is to be much longer
until he has returned to the proper path
which is the midpoint meaning you don't
necessarily need to expect yourself that
within a year of hanging out with uh
poor people you're going to become
a it's not going to happen but
nonetheless if you uh understand that
you are not where you're supposed to be
you're spiritually sick you're arrogant
you're conceited you're uh uh uh Angry
you're stingy you're all these different
things that all of us know are negative
and the way you know what your
weaknesses are is in essence what people
complain about you if everybody keeps
calling you arrogant they can't all be
wrong if everybody keeps saying you're
stingy they can't all be wrong if
everybody stops you know keeps telling
you oh no no don't get angry before they
start talking to you you know obviously
you're an angry person you need to work
on that whatever people complain about
you that's what you are even though you
disagree the whole world can't be wrong
and you're right all the time sometimes
the whole world is wrong and and you're
right but that's not necessarily uh all
the time it's not possible so especially
when it comes to character traits
because everybody's biased ons so what R
is ESS saying is that you have to get to
a middle point get to a middle middle
ground not be where you are right now
and don't expect yourself necessarily to
become mhu the humblest of all people
but get to a middle ground and continue
working and building on that Al number
three says that the temperament with
regard to which man is forbidden to
follow the middle path uh is that he
should move away from one extreme and
adopt the
other among these is
arrogance that in essence that you know
it's a the ra first told us that a
person that is a uh has bad traits has
to move toward its middle path but there
are certain things that he has to be
extreme with he has to be extreme and
one of them is
arrogance if a man is only uh uh I'm
sorry it's a uh one of these things that
he has to um work on his arrogance yeah
his arrogance if a man is only humble
he's not following the good path rather
he must hold himself lowly in his Spirit
very unassuming
which says in numbers 12:3 which
describes mosenu as a person that's very
humble not only humble therefore the
sages directed us a person that should
hold himself as very very lowly and he
declared that whoever is arrogant it's
as if he denite God's presence as
implied in uh Deuteronomy 8:14 and your
heart will be hoty and you will forget
God your
lord furthermore he says that whoever is
arrogant should be placed under the ban
of ostracism
and this is this applies even a person
is somewhat arrogant the ramam says so
in essence when it comes to arrogance
it's such a detestable trait that a
person needs to really be extreme with
it and work on it as it's literally as
priority number one even if let's say
you're stingy work on arrogance and
you're arrogant also work on arrogance
first why because the less arrogant you
are the more generous you'll become if
let's say for example you're a uh uh
someone that has uh you know short
temper but you're arrogant that
arrogance is causing the short temper in
essence the arrogance is the root of
almost practically all
evil Shalom says that the arrogance is
the primary reason why people get
addicted to wasting seed uh because in
essence they want to have whatever
Pleasures they have whenever they want
they don't want Hashem to tell them what
to do and when to do they don't want
people to tell them what to do and when
to do so they're in essence take control
of the their own physical pleasures and
that's uh what leads to that uh railroad
to to to gam uh the next thing that the
rambam says that anger is also an
exceptionally bad
quality um which is very uh similar very
uh same Roots as anger and it's fitting
and proper that one move away from it
and adopt the opposite extreme he should
School himself not to become angry even
when it's f to be
angry if he should wish to arouse fear
in his children and his household or
within a community if he's the community
leader and wishes to be angry at them to
motivate them to return to the proper
path then he should present an angry
front to them to punish them but he
should inwardly
become this is actually something that
you don't see very often uh because it
requires years and years of work I
remember that one of the trips that I
went to is I went to see one of the one
of
the uh in in one of the most famous M
today and uh I was sitting there one of
my cousins invited me one of his and I
was sitting there and they were learning
and so on and a couple of the guys
weren't exactly uh uhad let's say that
and they did a few things that uh uh
that were irritating and uh
got up after uh you know stopping
himself a few times as far as you know
his reading and and teaching he stopped
himself a few times and you know these
guys uh continued with their misbehavior
he uh got up get up you know which
shocked
everybody and uh started walking away as
if he was really angry and my my cousin
uh may hasem protect him and uh and and
give a blessing to him and his whole
family uh my cousin uh Gabby his name is
he uh he's very close to to ra Amos and
he followed him no no RAB RAB please
don't don't be angry don't be angry and
and ra Amos you know as everybody was
like shocked because you know for for
for ra to get up at such frustration I
mean was not not like him so ra turned
around and I saw it he looked at uh at
my cousin and he smiled at him
so I'm almost so so my cousin came back
okay so in essence that's that's the
example that's the example that he was
he was leading is that he has to rebuke
the people they're misbehaving they're
not paying attention they're wasting
time and so on so you can't just sit
there and let people just step all over
the tah all over your face and all over
uh the community and just take advantage
but what the r is in essence is saying
is that you have to show anger while in
reality you're really come when you're
in reality you really come this takes a
lot of Tora and a lot of humility to get
to that point but nonetheless that's the
goal that's the goal we should all
have the early s just said that anyone
that becomes angry is like an idol
worshipper uh and the r continues how a
uh such behavior is is is detested by
hem where whenever one becomes angry if
he's a wise man his wisdom leaves him if
he's a prophet his prophecy leaves him
uh the life of the the angry person is
not a real life
therefore the have directed us that a
person should distance himself from
anger and accustom himself not to feel
any reaction even to things which
provoke anger this is the good path the
the Raam writes this is the way of
righteousness accept
humiliation but do not humiliate
others listen when they are ashamed but
do not
answer do this with love and joy in the
suffering as it says in the Book of
Judges chapter 5:31 and those who love
him are like the sun when it comes out
in its strength so here the rambam says
that in order for a person to really
truly get to a point of eliminating
their anger they have to accept things
that are unacceptable in society today
uh or anytime I mean if somebody shaming
you somebody embarrassing you personally
making fun of you in essence if you want
to overcome this bad trait that you have
of being a hotthead of being an angry
person and so on then you have to
actually accept this humiliation and
this is actually why you'll see that you
know whether if you read bios of of the
and or you read Torah and you see all
the different things that happened to
mhu and you'll see that many times the
people that they helped the most went
against them many times people would
embarrass them and do all types of
things and they didn't react the way you
would think they should react with with
their power and wrath but rather the
opposite when started complaining to
mosu telling him listen would you bring
us here to this uh to this desert to
kill all of us I mean he's saving their
life and they're saying that that he's
trying to kill them uh they're calling
him an adulterer a thief and all types
of other names and M what does he say
what we're nothing I'm nothing what are
you complaining to me for I'm nothing
I'm zero go you're complaining your
complaints are against hasem instead of
telling them you UNG F people you know
good people you this you this you that
all the things that a person would
normally say he accepted the humiliation
in essence that's what made mosenu great
and that's what make can make you great
by knowing that that public
embarrassment that uh person shaming you
that person making fun of you is AEM
testing you and hasem trying to build
you to be a better version of yourself
although it's unpleasant although it's
painful and it's it can make your body
feel like you're on fire it's better to
have that fire than the fire of G that a
person would get if he doesn't do CH
well for such things so that's the
reality that accepting
humiliation uh is a uh and suffering is
one of the ways of getting to the point
of
righteousness again this is the goal
each one of us knows exactly where they
stand some of us this is completely
unacceptable because they're still very
spiritually sick some of us are saying
you know what maybe I'll give this a try
some of us will say you know a little
you know p p a little bit little you
know a little too much okay let's move
on to the next ra says in number four in
chapter two says that a person should
always cultivate silence and refrain
from speaking except with regards to
matters of knowledge or things that are
necessary for his physical weal
this is something that's completely
unacceptable to arrogant people
completely unacceptable to people that
are constantly selling themselves and
are looking for attention cons you know
unacceptable for people that are
immodest and immoral why because
generally speaking what they do is they
constantly want to be the center of
attention and how are you going to be
the center of attention without having a
big mouth without constantly talking
without constantly saying things that uh
you know are inappropriate and so on so
one of the ways that a person can help
themselves by by curing their spiritual
illness is teach themselves how to be
quiet much more than to
speak you know people always admire good
speakers oh wow he's a good speaker he's
a good speaker that's a good speaker
speaker speaker rarely do you see among
Society people admiring oh that guy's
really quiet generally speaking it's uh
it's it's it's it's common knowledge
that the guy that's quietest in the room
is typically the smartest in the room uh
or the dumbest but usually more likely
the smartest uh why because people that
are very smart are very calculated and
they don't speak very much and when a
person speaks a lot it's uh it's not
always a uh unless they're doing it for
a living it's not always a good
indication of their intellect many times
it actually indicates quite the opposite
a person needs to cultivate and and
teach themselves how to be quiet how not
to as soon as your husband comes home as
soon as your husband wakes up as soon as
your husband
uh is a uh says hello on the telephone
he just called you you just the whole
laundry list you're giving him of all
the problems you've ever had since M
it's not a good thing it's not a good
trait no no husband wants a wife that
just puts a whole faucet of things as
soon as he sees her doesn't no husband
wants that no human wants that no human
wants it imagine you just woke up and
somebody just jumps in your face with
every problem Under the Sun you call
them to say hello and instead of saying
hello you're like you know there's my
Mak all the all the plagues of Egypt
it's you have people need to teach
themselves how to first and foremost be
quiet a lot more often and second choose
their words carefully to the point of
like the ram says be very generous with
words of wisdom what's words of wisdom
Torah or words that are required for
your uh physical welfare you know it's a
uh if there's something that's physical
needed and yes sometimes there are
certain people that actually need to
speak and spill their hearts in order to
feel physically better but that's not
exactly a spiritually healthy person
point being is that the rambam says that
it's a very very good thing to teach
yourself silence and also choose your
speech uh uh carefully because we're
running a little bit out of time I'm
going to speed up a little bit similar
when speaking about matters of tah
knowledge Tor knowledge one uh one's
word should be brief but rich in content
so
it's a uh it's it's very common among
you know relatively new
speakers uh that they don't really
prepare very well and what ends up
happening is that in order for them to
say a single thing they take 30 minutes
and you know I I've seen it sometimes
when I meet people I go to different
lectures and somebody tells me listen I
only have a five minute question or
somebody tells me listen I want a phone
call phone call and they insist on a
phone call it's an emergency only 5
minutes only 5 minutes 45 minutes later
it's they're still talking why because
they don't choose their words carefully
they don't get to the point this is part
of the reason of why I generally don't
speak on the phone because I know that
people waste a lot of time when they're
speaking on the phone when they're
speaking in person whereas when you're
speaking in text messages or in voice
notes more time than not people limit
the message because they know no one has
the patience to listen to this whereas
they don't pay attention to this when
they're speaking to you in person or on
the phone so this is in essence
something that a person needs to take
into account when they're speaking to
other people you have to get to the
point immediately especially when it
comes to teachings of wisdom teachings
of Torah or teaching of something useful
in the world you have to get to the
point and if you don't know how to get
to the point right away don't say it
simply don't say it practice it a bunch
of times think about it a bunch of times
say to yourself by looking yourself in
the mirror a bunch of times once you got
a r up then do it why because if you
don't know what you're saying and it's
what you're saying is not uh easily
understandable to even a four-year-old
then you yourself don't know the
information well enough so it's
important to minimize your speech and
get to the point and if you are
longwinded uh like I am make sure that
you're saying a lot of new things and
not repeating yourself over and over
again because when you repeat yourself
you're wasting people's time you're
wasting your own time and in essence
you're showing the opposite of what
you're trying to
show number five he says silence is a
safeguard for wisdom therefore one
should not hasten to answer nor speak at
length one of the other things he
embellishes on this particular point in
regards to
silence where people typically when you
ask them a question they like to answer
right away because they think that if
you answer right away that means you're
h smart and you know the answer and
that's not necessarily true it's not
necessarily true you have to the certain
questions uh need time
I uh watched the uh bio about the life
of the life of the gador of
America David Feinstein Shalom who just
recently passed they did a fantastic bio
on him highly recommend it for anybody
to watch it it's free online uh and uh
one of the things that uh was uh
unbelievable about R David Feinstein uh
was the fact that there were the vast
majority of the questions people asked
them uh were not just questions about
the mid and who did this and who did
that but rather questions which are
generally speaking very difficult and
you have to be very very careful uh
answering them because if you don't
answer them the right way as his own son
ruen Feinstein says you're going to be
the one that goes to Gom not the person
that is making the mistake because
you're the one that's misleading him so
you have to be very careful when you're
responding to people with questions but
David Feinstein was such a genius such a
is
that many of the questions that he had
he would literally answer it instantly
taking all of the considerations of the
toah into account and answering it in
such a simple form that you would think
it's just off the cuff but as soon as
you gave him your prepared rebuttal he
already gives you 500 rebuttals that you
didn't even think about that prove his
case and he tell shows you how your
rebuttal you already thought of it's
already part of his calculation but
there were there were certain questions
where he would say listen I can't answer
you now I'll answer you tomorrow why
this is a little bit more difficult it
has more things that uh have to be
considered that are not pure uh yes or
no point being is don't be in a hurry to
answer people uh just to show that you
know things especially when it comes to
tah many people do that it's a mistake
uh that some of the would uh even um uh
re Muke their students or children that
would answer questions too quickly
because it's saying that that you're
playing with the Holy Tor like it's a
like it's a ball a game no you can't
answer questions that way you have to be
very very careful uh and certain before
you answer the next says that it person
is forbidden to act in a smooth
tonged and luring
manner meaning don't be one of these
Sweet Talkers don't be one of these uh
appeasers these kiss UPS to people uh
don't be a con man lying to people
misleading them I had some people tell
me yeah yeah listen anything I want such
and such to do I can get them to do it
that's not a good uh thing to tell
people and that's not a good thing to do
uh it's a uh you should know that the
most important speaker in history uh is
is mhu human history is mhu andu
specifically made him uh have a speech
and
to make sure that we and all of the
Heretics of the world would never say oh
the only reason why follow because he
was a good speaker you know Hashem
specifically gave him a speech
impediment to make sure that when people
heard him they knew exactly that the
words that he saying and he's not
convincing anybody he's simply telling
you what's the truth what God Said and
that's it you decide for yourself so
it's horrible that people are constantly
trying to be salesmen uh and constantly
trying to smooth talk their way into all
types of things they already have a
rebuttal for all types of things that uh
uh you know that really uh they should
just simply pay the piper they should
just simply deal with the problem and
stop uh trying to get themselves out of
trouble just don't get in trouble in the
first place now one of the main things
that people get in trouble with is when
it comes to stealing it comes to money
when it comes to dishonesty in business
and otherwise and that's what the rambam
continues on where he says a person
should not speak
one thing outwardly and think otherwise
in his heart rather his inner self
should be like the self which he knows
to the world which he shows to the world
what he feels in his heart should be the
same as the words on his lips this is
the mid this is a real person that has
the truth the trait of Truth where what
he says is what he feels he doesn't say
one thing and feel another but sometimes
people take this in the wrong direction
when say listen what so what if I curse
out so what if I insulted him so what if
I embarrassed her in public that's how I
feel I say whatever is on my heart you
know what I feel is you'll see it no no
no that's not a good trait that means
you're an animal that means you you
should be put in a zoo I'm talking about
people being honest in a uh in
everything but not in their uh low
opinions of society rather uh a uh
honest in things that are more material
and not just necessarily based on your
opinion furthermore he says it's
forbidden to deceive people even a
non-jew for example one should not sell
a gentile the meat of an animal which
has not been ritually slaughtered as if
it were ritually slaughtered
meat so here is one of the biggest
things that the
Heretics the uh the
missionaries uh and and many of the uh
people that are anti toah one of the
things that they don't know or they know
and they don't tell you when they try
and insist on insulting the T they keep
saying oh yeah the Jewish people are
allowed to take advantage of the go
because they're terrible because they
believe they're slaves because that's
there's nothing further from the truth
which is exactly what the r is saying we
are forbidden to deceive people but he
has a special emphasis even a non-jew
meaning don't think for a moment that
when we're talking about people we're
just talking about Jewish people even a
non-jew and furthermore he goes to
the in other places in the where he
talks about that actually being
dishonest and deceiving a nonu is worse
than actually deceiving a uh Jew uh in
any aspect deceiving people in business
you uh tell your partner that you're
going to do XYZ and you know that you're
not you're a liar you're going to get
punished from hasem uh you tell your
customer that you're going to do this
this and that and you don't you're a
liar you're going to get punished from
Hashem you know you're on a way to an
appointment you're at least an hour away
and you know it but you tell the guy no
no I'll be there in 5 minutes because
you don't want them to run away you're a
liar you'll get punished by hasem you
tell your wife no no I just uh it was
traffic it was traffic I I didn't uh and
in reality you you were out with the
guys going to one of these pubs and
making all types of sins you're a Li and
you get punished by hasem you are not
allowed to lie you're not allowed to lie
there are white lies for the sake of
Peace but that's the vast majority of
lies are not white lies but rather black
and black as tar and that's the one
thing that a person needs to know you
have to run away from lies that's why
the in the Tor
says from a thing of Lies run away from
stay away from not just don't do it stay
away from it why because when it comes
to lies Hashem says don't just not make
the sin stay away from anything remotely
close to it because it's the opposite of
me he says it's the opposite of the
signature of hem is em and when you lie
you're antithetical to God himself
you're the opposite of God himself so a
person needs to to only allow truth to
be in his life only truth to come out of
his mouth only truth to be in his
business even if that means that you're
going to lose or looks like you're going
to lose short term you have to tell the
truth many times people lie to the
government for unemployment benefits for
medical benefits for all types of social
benefits figuring yeah the government
has a lot of money they waste it anyway
let me just take advantage no you're a
liar you're going to get punished you're
not allowed to lie to anyone not allowed
not allowed to lie simple it's it's it's
it's a horrible thing and the ramban
emphas gives several examples and then
he says the following it is forbidden to
utter a single word of deception or
fraud again it's
forbidden to utter a single word of
deception or
fraud if you know something to be false
you're not even allowed to say it
to your spouse to your partner to your
uh children to to to to anyone not all
to lie either don't say anything or say
the truth but just so you know not
saying anything is not always a good
solution sometimes not saying anything
is in essence implying the the falsehood
so rather one should have only truthful
speech the ram says a proper spirit and
a heart pure from all deceit and
trickery one should neither be
constantly laughing and a gesture nor
sad and depressed but happy as a SES uh
declared justing and light-headedness
accustomed one to loudness person likes
to make fun of things jok stir all that
stuff for sure he ends up wasting seed
could become an adulterer could become
all types of immorality crimes why it's
not a good trait to be a jokester and
make fun of everything there's a time to
laugh a time to tell a joke and it's a
time to be serious person that's
constantly looking to be the standup
Comm
Medan that's it it's a reality why
because he's not taking anything serious
into account and uh until it's too late
and a lot of people get hurt on the way
so a person needs to stay away from that
he should also not be greedy rushing for
wealth and possessions nor lazy and an
idol or from work laziness is one of the
critical tools of the Satan in order to
get a person to sin and greediness is
one of the main tools Satan uses in
order to destroy the Persona of the
Jewish people in the public eye
presenting them as greedy people uh even
when they're not point being is being
greedy constantly chasing money
constantly making money and possessions
as the priority in life even if that
means you're going to step on your
co-workers it's going to step on your
company the company that gave you that
built you that helped you you're going
to go and compete against them you're
going to go to the competitor no matter
what business is business type of
mentality kill will be killed mentality
you are rash and hasem will punish you
well I'm just ambitious no no ambitious
does not require you to be greedy
ambition and greed do not necessarily
have to go together you could be
ambitious without being greedy you could
be simply good at what you do without
telling the whole world that they're bad
you could be good at what you do without
lying about the competition you could
even help the competition and still be
successful point being is that a person
needs to know in order to serve Hashem
the right way a person has to eliminate
these types of traits eliminate these
types of
traits rather he should be a good goodly
eye and limit his business Endeavors so
that he may occupy himself with Torah
study he should be happy with the little
which he has person has to be happy have
a good eye when he sees other people
succeed let him succeed don't be one of
these people with a bad eye only wants
yourself to succeed and everybody else
to be poor you have to be happy when you
see other people succeed even more so
you have to limit your business to the
point where you're giving yourself
enough time to learn to if you don't
learn to you're going to be R by default
you're not going to be resurrected with
the dead person who doesn't learn toat
will not be resurrected with the
dead and most likely not going to go
anywhere near Heaven why because you
can't be righteous without learning to
so it's a whatever hasem decides to give
you know that this is what you deserve
you would have gotten it whether you
were greedy or not the greedy guy
doesn't get more because he's greedy he
wouldn't have gotten it even if he was
righteous in fact he probably would have
gotten more if he was righteous he would
have had blessing with the money but
when a person's greedy he thinks that he
is winning he's beating the man and
therefore he has but in reality he
doesn't realize he was supposed to get
it already from sham Hashem was going to
give it to him anyway with actual
blessing but instead he's getting the
same amount of money but less blessing
which means that that million two
million $5 million that he made instead
of being spent on good things going to
be spent on IRS on tax on medical bills
on lawsuits on all types of
problems a person should not be
quarrelsome or of envious temperament
full of desires not pursue
honor as our sage just said Envy desire
and honor remove a man from the life of
this world this is one of the things
that is a uh unfortunately a common
thing people like to fight with people
especially when they think they know
more than somebody else even in the
Torah world even even the B chuva world
the conversion World a guy just learned
about Tah just learned something in the
tah and all of a sudden he wants to yell
at everybody because he thinks nobody
knows what they're talking about take it
easy take it
easy you just started learning six
months ago a year ago you don't have to
start rebuking the whole world you have
to make sure that you know what you're
doing and I promise you 6 months into it
a year into it a few years into it you
still don't know what you're
doing still don't know what you're doing
so you have to be very very careful with
what you're doing you have to know how
to do certain things don't spend any
time envying other people any blessing
that they have is theirs it's not yours
his car is his car his house is his
house her husband is her husband her his
wife is his wife don't envy other people
oh his company is his company it's not
yours don't envy other people just pray
to Hashem for you to have blessing as
well but nonetheless don't ever Envy
other
people and don't seek honor don't do
things just to get attention to ramb
says why it's a terrible thing it's a
terrible thing so terrible to the point
that if a person is an envious person a
Desiring person or a person that looks
for Cav he simply will lose
his why he will make so many
sins so many sins that the ram even
emphasizes it on the next uh chapter
chapter three number one he'll make so
many sins and he'll go on the wrong path
for so long that he won't even realize
he's in the wrong path until it's too
late now the conclusion of all of this
is the
following all of this teaching seemed
like it was simple not uh overly
difficult not uh killing anyone so why
does it why isn't every Shure this way
why can't we just have every should just
tell people do this don't do this and
simple why do you have to talk about
gome Gom Gom punishment why even during
this sh we mentioned a few time you get
punished why what's what is that because
the very same rambam
who taught countless people T who to
this day people learn his T non-stop
anyone that want to have a remote chance
of being a kosher Jew that has that
knows that knows what he's talking about
has to learn R he taught us how to do K
because he himself did K and he writes
in he tells us exactly how to do kiru
but not only how to do kiru how not to
do he says the following
in chapter
10 number five and six he says the
following anyone who occupies himself
with the Torah in order to receive
reward or in order to protect himself
from punishment is considered as one who
is not occupied for the sake of
God meaning if you're only doing the
mitv you keep Shabbat you keep this you
keep that just because you you don't
want to go to gay you're not doing it
for the sake of God you're doing it for
yourself doesn't make you R but
nonetheless you're not doing it at the
highest level and then he continues and
he says in contrast anyone who occupies
himself with it not because of fear nor
to receive a reward but rather because
of his love for
Hashem of the entire hem the the master
of of of the
world who commanded it that person is
occupying himself for God's sake so you
have the servitude of hem in essence
divided into two one is in essence
doesn't want to serve hem for uh for
because he loves him but rather because
he doesn't want to go to G the other one
because he loves him of course you
cannot get to love without fearing but
nonetheless he says one is doing it not
for the sake of hem he's doing it to
save himself the other one is doing for
the sake of
hem so Al is not finished
nevertheless nevertheless the ra
says the sages said page 50b page 22b
page 105a and many many other places the
sages declared the r says a person
should always occupy himself with the
Torah even when it's not for God's sake
for out of the service which is not
intended for God's sake will come
service that is intended for God's sake
so the second part of this says that
even if you're not serving hasem because
you love him you just met him you just
discovered Shabbat a week ago you just
discovered what wasting seed is and how
bad it is three minutes ago you don't
even realize you should still serve hem
because you're afraid of
punishment why if you continue serving
hem because you're afraid of him you
will eventually serve hem because you
love him and then he says the atomic
bomb last part of this first part of the
Al and he says
therefore one who teaches children women
and most of the common
people again therefore one who teaches
children women and most of the common
people in so many words one who teaches
Torah
today one should teach them to serve God
out of fear and in order to receive a
reward
what to serve God out of fear and in
order to receive a reward yes that's
what the rabam is saying and he
continues as their knowledge grows and
their wisdom increases this secret
should be revealed to them slowly bit by
bit and they should become accustomed to
this concept gradually until they grasp
it and know it and begin serving God out
of of love you cannot teach people to
love God on day one or even day
365 or even day five years you have to
get people to that point how teaching
them all of the basics of fearing God
fearing God fearing God fearing
God and by the way you do this you're
gonna get good stuff too by the way why
that's what the r
from Moses Moses Moses
meaning Moses meaning ra there was
nobody like Moses the r is telling us
clearly this is how you do kiru you have
to teach
people with
fear why because that's where they are
the general public the people that are
not tell me the the people that are not
you know the teachers El the people that
are not the scholars themselves they
need to learn how to fear God that's how
they need to learn because if they fear
God eventually they'll love him if they
don't fear God they'll never love him
you can never skip the step you can't go
straight to to to to loving God as the
ram just simply explained to us and then
he says this for those who are a little
bit stubborn we want more clarity next
Al says this it's well known and a clear
matter that the love of God will not
become attached within a person's heart
until he becomes obsessed with it at all
times as is fitting leaving all things
of the world except for
this this was implied by the command in
Deuteronomy 6:5 love God your Lord with
all of your heart and all of your soul
so a person can never get to a point of
loving God until he's practically
abandoned all materialism and everything
else he cares less about nothing other
than loving God now some of these uh uh
lunatics think no no I love God on day
one I love God on day one that's why the
rest of the ramban goes to
death where he says one can only love
God as an outgrowth of the knowledge
with which he knows him the nature of
one's love depends on the nature of
one's knowledge a small amount of
knowledge arouses a lesser love a
greater amount of knowledge arouses a
Greater Love Therefore it's necessary
for a person to seclude himself in order
to understand and conceive wisdom and
Concepts which make his creator known to
him according to the potential which man
possesses to understand and comprehend
as we ac explained
in so here the rambam clarifies further
for those people that think they could
skip the teachings of
he's in so many words he's saying it's
not possible to ever love God without
knowing him it's not possible to know
him and not fear Him not
possible the only way a person will ever
love AEM is if he has an immense amount
of knowledge of who God is how do you
know who God is you learn an enormous
amount of toah the more toah you learn
the more you'll fear God the more you'll
fear God the more you'll end up loving
him but to get to love right away is not
the way of the it's not the way of
the it's not the way of anyone other
than people that are either Heretics or
kups that want to please the public
anyone that wants to learn how to do
kiru has to look at what actually
works what actually works and who's
going to tell you what actually works
better than the rambam you think you
know better than the rambam your brother
thinks he knows better than the rambam
your sister thinks he knows better than
the rambam your teacher thinks he knows
better than the rambam you're all going
to go to a special place one day but
it's not going to be G eded why the ram
knows a lot more than anybody else he
knows more than the entire world we live
in today combined why any will tell you
that you just look at his work you look
at what he wrote look what he said the
ra is the foundation Foundation one of
the foundational teachings of
Judaism there's no such thing as
ignoring the rambam's opinion no such
thing point being the ra told us exactly
yes you got to do yes you got to tell
people to stop being angry stop doing
this stop doing that stop stop stop stop
stop but the foundation of all of that
stop and all of that yes and all of that
no has to be the teachings of a fear of
God why without the fear of God there is
no Judaism there is no Torah there is
nothing there is
nothing and that's why it is important
to learn about
on a regular basis to remind ourselves
that yes we one day want to get to a
point where we love Hashem but not
because we just decided we love Hashem
because we think that we understand what
we're talking about but rather we love
hem because we fear Him to such an
extent that it's no longer just a
punishment but rather the fear of
hurting the relationship we are well
aware of the punishment we are well
versed of the punishment there's no
question about the punishment but even
more
so we fall in love with hem because
we've gone to a complete knowledge
complete knowledge of what we need to
fear and as a result of our learning T
and fulfilling his MIT and now hasem has
opened up our heart to start feeling
feeling love for him but that takes many
many years and may not happen to people
in their entire lifetime as says he
wished es that even the during his day
couple hundred years ago served theem
from from from fear of hem he says I
wish would people would serve him why
fear he says the love of God is not
relevant to most people it's not
relevant to most people most people are
simply not going to get there ever even
if they work on they won't get there
ever why love of God is a very very high
level at best case scenario a person
could hope for a combination of love and
fear of God no such thing as just loving
God really for the overwhelming majority
of people in the world today and even in
previous generations like the generation
of so a person that thinks he's only
going to love God without talking about
without talking about punishment is
delusional he's not a scholar he's not
Aid he's delusional he's what we call a
a drunk and that's from the ram himself
with that being said we've uh given you
a little bit of food for thought let's
take a drink and then take some
questions okay let's see uh are Gentiles
allowed to kill on my luck
and if so what
type I'm not really sure what you mean
killing on
ack uh but no no one's really allowed to
kill uh so yeah it's one of the seven no
hide Lodge now it's the murder so no oh
to kill
amalik uh if it's an act of War yes but
if it's a just an individual uh that you
think is AMC uh no it it will be
violation of the law of the land so no
but uh if it's a legal according to the
government you live in then yes but uh I
don't believe it's legal
anywhere okay saah is asking how to give
rebuke the right way and how to make
sure to have
more uh to give the rebuke the right way
I have a couple of lectures about uh
rebuke as part of the series of thean
uh the series was a exceptional series I
learned a lot from it and uh there's a
couple of lectures in there that talk
about rebuking and how to do it uh but
in short first and foremost the whole
purpose of rebuking is because you care
about a person if you don't care about a
person do not rebuke them because it's
not a rebuke it's just criticism rebuke
and its uh at its core is a show of love
for a person uh and a care of a person
and uh if you don't care about the
person and you don't love the person and
you're not afraid that this person is
hurting themselves then don't rebuke
them so first and foremost to know that
you have to obviously know as far as
more is self-sacrificed it's one of the
only things that a person cannot be
taught you cannot be taught I cannot
tell you to
do self-sacrifice is a choice
is a choice uh among our own team uh we
have talks about that of different
projects that we have and different
things and uh some of the conversations
that I've had with rabim and and other
important members of team hasem as I
always tell them I cannot tell you to go
and make a sacrifice you have to choose
you have to choose I can't tell you to
go make the sacrifice go do a job it's
one thing but to go make a sacrifice
which is above and beyond it's that's
not something that you can teach and
that's not even something that you you
can tell people to do uh on a regular
basis you could simply tell people that
yes values so much so
that the last chapter says the only way
that a person will ever acquire T is by
self-sacrifice by if a person wants to
get to GED if a person wants to succeed
if a person wants to be righteous they
have to be uh uh uh used to uh making
self-sacrifice on a regular basis but uh
to teach it is not something that's
possible simply because again everybody
has their own uh uh uh choice to make
you know that there's a sacrifice
available to you you have to decide
whether to make that sacrifice and how
do you decide making that sacrifice you
have to uh look at the the greater good
that's that's above you is your desire
greater than God
uh than God's commandment and even if
it's not necessarily an obligation is
God's uh content with the unhappiness
with the world and his people more
important than your uh well-being in so
many words so a person is uh that that
makes a lot of self-sacrifice is a
person that is slowly but surely
becoming selfless they do not want
anything for themselves uh as time goes
on they want less and less of the
material world and care more about
others than they care about themselves
uh so neish is again like I said it's a
personal choice uh highly recommended
but if you if somebody wants to become
somebody in the eyes of God but again
it's not like something that uh you can
give a Shure to people about uh or even
advice of how to do it because everybody
has their own ways and opportunities of
how to make it some people uh can make
major self-sacrifice by being very
generous with their money uh some people
will be has to be very generous with
their time or or other things but uh
it's very important to know that the
ultimate
self-sacrifice uh that Hashem is uh
desires is people that sacrific
themselves for the sake of his people to
help his people do chuat to help his
people get closer and closer
to that's
whyu was chosen uh to be mosenu because
he is the one that uh and only that was
willing to to die for the sake of am uh
and it's one of the things that hem
desires more than anything else so much
so that in the new SE the new SE by our
dear y the from Jerusalem uh that our
organization published recently uh uh
the C
we just publici publicized it on our
website it's available on our website to
download for free uh I also have some uh
hard copies that are available for
anyone that wants and is fluent in
Hebrew obviously uh he writes he writes
he brings uh this in his book where he
says that if we look at
history we see that am got punished
several times throughout
history uh but uh the zor
Bak says that uh those who toil in
Torah those who to in t that uh there is
a uh even uh when when there is a
disaster coming when is a decree in sh
that's coming uh there is permission
there's permission from Heaven to uh to
attack the people hasem commands the
Satan to avoid his household's children
even if the entire city is destroyed but
on the other
hand
says 6A it says that in a time of
Destruction with his permission from
hasem for the Destroyer for the Satan to
destroy a
city he doesn't decipher between a sadik
and
rash so how could the contradict the zor
how could the zor contradict the meaning
on one hand it says that when a time of
disaster there is a uh there's
permission for the Satan to kill the the
righteous and the Wicked the Holocaust
righteous and wicked there is a program
righteous and Wicked on the other handar
says
no there's actually times where hasem
says that even if you're going to
destroy the entire city don't touch this
righteous person don't touch
him so
brings source of one of the previous
generation one of the survivors of the
Holocaust
um I'm sorry many much longer than that
that's not the same one so brings he
says a
extraordinary he says that the Zar is
referring to household children not just
what's household children household
children are people that are not
only because they toil in
but also because
they're they do they help aem's children
come back and therefore hasem considers
them household children and not just
children the are surely his children the
nation is surely his children there's
obviously some that he's closer to than
others because they're more righteous
versus The Wicked but there are some
that are called household children that
get special protection from Heaven even
if the Destroyer is allowed to destroy
they get a special protection and who is
that it's those people that do kiru and
those people that do kiru toil in Torah
or support Torah with their money with
their time with their efforts and skills
bottom line is you want to be a
household child and protected from the
war of goou Magog that's coming you have
to do kiru on a regular basis with your
money or or your time or your efforts
whatever it is if you have money you're
a business person make sure that at
least 10% of your money is going on a
regular basis to its KY that's actually
effective and I would say at least
because I wouldn't uh I wouldn't uh be
uh so certain of myself that saying 10%
is enough because there's so much
problems out there the more money you
make the higher the percentage it should
be and evenes may not be enough for some
people
so you can say wait but aren isn't it
say don't donate more than 20% of your
salary yes the do say don't donate more
than 20% of your salary but that's for
general purposes for homeless people for
uh public needs and so on but it comes
for
the say you could donate 100% of your
money 100% of your money you could
donate obviously don't make yourself
poor but nonetheless you're allowed to
donate 100% of your money for kuir
that's how important it is
that's how a person is going to show
their self sacrifice for something
that's beyond them for the sake of the
people for the sake of hm's children and
therefore become a household
child of not just the child which a
child in itself is obviously great but
if you could become a household child
just simply by writing a few checks or
you could become a household Child by
simply giving a few speeches or
household Child by uh sharing lectures
on a regular basis and arranging events
and making K making publicizing T real t
a priority number one in your
life to become a household child has
never been easier and highly highly
highly
recommended uh zalo is asking uh uh
Facebook has blocked me from being able
to share the Shu uh okay so for anyone
that's blocked by Facebook to share the
Shure what you should do is something
very simple take the uh uh browser link
of the uh lecture itself you know
wherever you're watching the lecture has
a link take that link copy and paste it
on your page therefore you're it's the
same thing as sharing that's that's what
you should do
um let's see what another question
question if one stole in the past and
wants to do cha can you do can he just
anonymously anonymously mail to the
store of the money in an envelope
without explaining that he stole from
them no he cannot do it
unless that store is owned by the same
owner and he is the one that's going to
receive the check so if you have let's
say you stole from a deli and that Deli
has the same uh same owner for the last
30 years as it is today he's the only
owner he's the only one that takes the
mail he's the only one that has you know
uh uh the financial control of the
company and yeah you can send a check
anonymously without telling them what
you did but in most cases that's not the
case either the owners change or the
owners have employees that could take
the mail and take the money with it or
there's multiple owners it's a major
corporation it's a Walgreens it's a uh
it's a Walmart it's a Macy's it's a very
big company where if you send a check to
the corporate headquarters that check
may end up in one of the employees
Pockets instead of the company pockets
and your money has been stolen and you
still did not do chuva so uh you have to
uh be more direct and you have to give
it to the owner but if giving it to the
owner would put you at risk legal risk
where you can go to jail or you can get
into trouble of some kind uh then you do
not need to put yourself at risk what
you should do is donate the money
towards a public cause that they could
potentially benefit from uh if they are
let's say uh in your community they live
by you and there is let's say a
community event that you know they
attend then you could donate towards
that if uh they uh uh uh they have any
type of uh things that you know they're
involved in but if you don't know what
they're involved in you don't don't know
well or anything like that the best
thing uh that you should do is donate it
to its kiru because kiru the whole world
benefits from CU is something the whole
world benefits from and uh make it a uh
uh in in your mind make it a record of
it that this the money is for their
Merit their Merit uh you're donating the
money and uh thereby you it's as if you
return the money but again that's only
if you cannot return the money to its
owner either because you cannot find
them anymore after you've exerted effort
they've either died or they've left and
you have no idea where they are or uh
giving it to the owner would get you
into uh trouble uh legally and so on so
it's uh that way you could uh uh don't
need to get yourself into trouble you
could just simply donate the money to
kiru I actually have a couple of tomim
that uh have done that that have donated
to kiru and uh because it was such a
large debt in one particular case uh
there was one guy that uh you know I
guess stole uh a lot of money I think it
was like maybe like $50,000 or something
like that and uh you know his luck is
not exactly uh he's not rich he doesn't
have the money that he had back then he
not only stole the money but he uh lost
uh all the money after anyway so he has
a sin and he doesn't have the blessing
at all so he says what should I do I
mean I can't can't give back
$50,000 so what do I do I said give
whatever you can you know whatever you
make give uh give whatever you can and
it's not part of your M because it's
stolen money so you can't count it as
part of your M so he gives I think he
gives like like 100 bucks 150 bucks a
month something like that cuz it's
literally like a uh a large amount of
money for him these days unfortunately
so he gives whatever he gives a couple
hundred bucks 100 bucks whatever it is
uh on a regular basis but little by
little uh he's uh wiping off more and
more of the debt and I am certain that
he's going to get more blessing and more
panasa as a result of it I've had others
that uh have done more I've had others
that say no forget it I'm not going to
do anything you know you have all types
of people the more serious a person is
about doing chuva the more spiritually
healthy are the easier it is for them to
do chuva for things that are difficult
such as stolen money uh stolen money is
a very very common thing uh that many
people have on their hands and choose to
ignore figuring they give enough takaka
that's going to wipe it out your takaka
is not going to wipe it out you have to
specifically intend for the money to be
returned for the sake of stolen money if
it's not possible to return it to its
owner itself but if it is possible to
return it to the owner you have have to
return it to the owner no matter what
you have to return it to the owner you
don't necessarily need to uh explain to
them what you did and uh if you let's
say for example you stole from a an old
friend a classmate a teacher a uh
business partner whatever a bunch of
money and uh you want to R return the
money but you don't want them to know
it's you and so on and so forth you
could just take you know the money in
cash put it in a uh place that you know
only they would get it uh and uh and uh
leave it there leave it there that's it
just right them a note this is a gift or
something whatever you want to write and
that's it but you have to obviously make
sure that they get it because if they
don't get it then you didn't do jat you
didn't do cha so it's dangerous to to to
do things anonymously sometimes it's
better to uh get embarrassed uh as a
result of it because that embarrassment
is actually part of your chuva is part
of your Chua so to getting embarrassed
is is a part of admitting that you've
done wrong is part of the Chua uh and uh
it's I remember uh for you know years
ago I uh when I first started doing Chu
I realized some of these things and
there was uh couple of people that uh I
uh you know I I did uh something wrong
too not I didn't steal from them or
anything like that but you know we got
into altercations and uh I shared my
opinion about them they shared their
opinion about me they tortured me I
tortured them and so on and so forth but
Torah told you know teaches us that we
have to uh uh fix uh whatever we can fix
so I I had a couple of people that I
wrote them letters because there was no
uh nothing else that needed to be done
but I wrote them letters uh apologizing
for my behavior and uh that's it you
know a whole extensive thing I prayed
for them uh and and so on so it's it's
something that you need to do something
that you need to do and yeah I'm sure
that uh at least in two cases they took
the letter they read it they laughed at
me and uh probably ripped it up and
threw in the garbage or framed it to
make fun of me every single time they
read it and to show it to their friends
but it's not I don't care doesn't make a
difference to me I did my share I
apologized about something that I did
wrong whether they like me or don't like
me is not really necessarily my business
uh but the point being is that each
person needs to understand that getting
embarrassed getting shamed is in essence
part of Chua part of chuva uh for
certain things so sometimes a person
will prefer to remain a sinner Thief
rather than getting embarrassed I
actually had a person that came to me
told me about a situation like this
where she stole a bunch of money from
some former employees that she had and
she wanted to return it but she knows
that if she tells her that she uh that
she took the money it'll be embarrassing
and our parents are going to find out
and everybody's going to find out and
this is going to find out and that's
going to find out I said okay well you
know say uh then uh just take the money
and leave it in uh and a place that
she's the only one she's going to get no
but I'm scared she's not going to get it
I said okay so just go give it what can
I tell you no no but isn't there any
other way can I just give it to you I
said no you can't give it to me you know
who the person is you have access to
them you have to give it to them you
cannot give it to me as much as I would
like to accept your your your takaka to
to help people do chuva I cannot accept
it and make you think that you're doing
chuva you're not doing chuva you know
who the person is you have access to
them you have to get yeah but I'll get
embarrassed I said embarrassed no
embarrass you have to go give it to them
what can I tell you no no no I'm just
going to do it what she do she ended up
giving it to some other Rabbi okay give
it to some other Rabbi pretend like you
did chuva and reality arrive at sh you
know getting burned for for a serious
amount of time because you didn't do cha
you know it's it's again it's it's
important for people to know that just
because you give money it's St it's not
an automatic cha you have to do cha the
right way and uh hopefully do CH and
give money to people that are you know
telling you the truth and not just you
know uh quick to take your money quick
to take your money people that quick to
take your money are uh not usually very
good at helping you do chuba
uh next
question let's
see one says how come said in 32: 24 at
the calf emerged making it sound like it
emerged by himself can you explain the
real meaning uh very good question it's
actually one of my favorite questions to
answer because it goes into the midash
it goes into parts of the Tor that
people like to make fun of but you'll
see from this story that without this
mid the verse does not make sense why
because how could a calf a golden calf
nonetheless emerge from the fire by self
what is it walk what does have
superpowers what does it have there
answer is yes it does and that's what
the midash says to us in commentary by
the who brings the uh uh
it's practically it's a it's a treasure
chest of different mid and different
commentary on the Tora
by Shalom from about 300 years ago where
he goes into in
this he says that in that time of there
was a decree
from to destroy
these even as babies so uh
he allowed par to take these babies
these Jewish babies and allowed par to
kill them slaughter them to get their
blood uh and bathe in it every day or to
take these babies and put them in
replacement of the
stones uh because their parents did not
uh meet a quota of uh of putting setting
a certain amount of stones and when
mosenu saw that these babies were
getting crushed by the Stones
uh alive he couldn't take it and he
asked hem to save him and hasm says no
you can't save them because they're evil
their evil that's what they deserve butu
in his human heart KES says at least let
me save one at least let me save one so
um hasem saids if you want to save one
save one go ahead you have free choice
you can save one so M who saved one of
the babies and he named them mikah mikah
after the word of Li to crush and this
baby grew up and grew up and uh followed
M mosu
around now after the whole plagues and
everything else uh mosenu wanted to
fulfill the promise that the ancestors
made which is to uh take the uh tomb of
yadik who used to be the visoy of Egypt
uh to take the tomb and bring it with
them to is the problem was that uh uh no
one knew where the tomb was except a
person that was alive at the time
because the Egyptians were hiding it so
mosenu had to find somebody that was
alive at the time and he found a woman
that was named sah
Sak Sak the daughter of Aer which was
the niece of yadik and she was blessed
by
yobu to uh to live a long life she ended
up being one of the woman that never
died she went to ganeden with her
clothes on and she lived for hundreds
and hundreds of years beforehand and
anyway was the only one that was alive
at the time of yusik as well as at the
time of mosenu and uh she told mosenu
where the tomb of yusf sadik was she
said it's hidden inside the Nile because
the Egyptians in essence worship it and
and are afraid to lose it because YF
brought them a lot of blessing so mosu
went to the Nile
River and he uh took the uh a piece of
metal on one side of it he uh inscribed
the name of a 72 letter name of
a and on the other side he wrote a verse
describing the uh yadik which is uh bull
so he wrote a verse saying
Al rise bull rise so before he threw it
into the water he said he spoke to the
of he
says I am here to deliver on the promise
of my forefathers to take your bones and
bury them in is but you have to take
yourself out of the river or I'm leaving
you
here he threw the mate in he threw the
piece of metal in with hashem's name
engraved on it on one side and Al rise
bull rise which was the symbol of yusf
sadik and he threw it into the water and
the tomb rose out of the water
mhu took this tomb without realizing
that this little Mika young boy jumped
into the water because he was following
him and hiding in the bushes jumped into
the water and grabbed this mate and kept
it for
himself took this tomb with is we left
Egypt we got to mount saai mosenu went
up to mount
saai and this week's
par this week's
par it says that is made a mistake what
was the
mistake is miscalculated the amount of
time that uh mosenu is going to be in
Mount saai by 6 hours
by six hours they did not realize that M
was going to be there they ended up
falling for the Trap of the Satan long
story short they uh as this week's and
this is said in chapter 32 verse number
one that the people saw that had delayed
Andes don't Sayes delayed rather say
beses which is spelled the same way
which which means in six he's delayed by
six hours so the people fell for the
Trap Of Satan they had anxiety they had
lack of patience which is a terrible
trait and uh they ended up thinking that
Moshe died when the Satan came and
showed him a uh illusion that as if
Moshe was being buried and they thought
that they needed a middleman to
communicate to God so they wanted to
build a mishan they wanted to build a
middleman they wanted to do something to
to connect to God since they don't haveu
anymore they weren't thinking that the
golden calf was actually godom they
simply want thought that they needed a
middleman to connect to God so they came
to who to her in English and told him
Builder something her said no they
killed him then they went to aronen
aronen his
brother-in-law and the brother
ofu told build us something and Aon knew
that they were wrong about the
calculation with the six hours he knew
that is eventually going to come back
but he also knew that they were so
fanatic at that time being misled by the
am by the uh false teachers of the time
that uh if he doesn't do something
they're going to kill him too and if
they kill a Coen in a Nai and the same
day then there's not going to be no Chua
for them so instead of allowing them to
self-destruct permanently he said okay
okay fine no just give me all your gold
he figured it's going to be hard for
people to give the gold but to his
surprise the was very strong and each
person started literally taking the
earrings off of the ears and bracelets
and everything they took everything and
they started giving them all the men the
women didn't give so they gave him all
the stuff but he figured okay anyway to
to burn all of this melted and build
into something it's going to take days
not just hours days it's going to take
just to melt it takes a few hours it's
not like today when you go to 47th
Street and every uh office uh
practically has their own uh gold uh
machine to to melt gold in a matter of
uh minutes no those days you have to use
real fire which takes time to build up
to make it that fiery to to melt gold
but to his surprise after he threw all
of the gold into the
fire back comes that
rotten child named
mikah and mik did not have gold but he
had the m the m ofu that piece of metal
that mosenu inscribed hashem's holy name
on it and he threw it into the fire the
same fire that had the gold of the
nation and what did the M say again it
said on one side it said aem's name on
the other side it said Al Al rise bull
rise and what emerged from the fire a
bull as soon as the mate hit the
gold the mate gave the gold life it gave
life the name of a gave the gold life
and the gold in essence came together as
you see from the latter verses when Aon
talks to Moshe Moshe is rebuking him why
did you do it why do you hate the people
he says no no the whole thing emerged by
itself how did it emerge by itself and
he tells him the whole story of how he
you know this mate was in there and in
essence the gold was just in there
burning and suddenly a uh the gold
formed into a combined melted and uh uh
formed into a bull and that
bull spoke saying I am God that took you
out of
Egypt that's what the bull said when it
came out of the gold hence the reason
why the people thought it was God people
started worshiping it initially they
intended for it to be a middleman for
hem uh which that's part of the reason
of why 13 principles of faith we do not
have middlemen like the Christians and
the uh uh the uh the other
religions but aside from that that bull
in essence was a Satan was Act of a
Satan where it literally spoke because
it had a Holiness uh
affected uh so that's that's an Essence
why it says that rise bull rise but no
one uh should ever get confused to think
that the generation of knowledge wanted
to worship a different God even for a
second none of them wanted to worship a
different God they misled by the false
teachers misled by the they were misled
like people are being misled today and
they made a mistake as a result of it
and one thing led to another domino
effect because they thought like the uh
messianics teach you they thought you
need a middleman they thought you need
help to connect to hem they thought like
some uh fake tell you that you need uh
the their rebi or uh they teaching
specifically as the only way to connect
to God or some tells you that you need
special water to connect to God none of
that stuff is true you only need the
Torah to connect to you want to connect
to you need Torah without Torah you're
not connecting to why Torah tells you
who is what he wants from you and so on
but even if a person never learned T in
their entire life they can still have a
concept of who but to serve a you need
the Torah that's it there's no middle
man there's no middle man it's just a
teachings from hasem himself the more
you learn T the more you start seeing
the world from hashem's perspective and
realizing what your ultimate purpose is
and what the ultimate good that Hashem
wants for you and the world is the more
you learn Torah the more you see the
world from hashem's perspective but when
you have anxiety lead your life when you
had uh anxiety being taught by when you
have a all types of false
teachings being taught by the amalik uh
people of today whether they're Jew or
Gentile then what ends up happening we
end up worshiping Idols we end up
worshiping uh uh rabbis we end up
worshiping Idols we end up worshiping
money we end up worshiping everything
but God everything but God so it's
important to know that story is a uh
extraordinary story of uh of one domino
effect leading to the other where you
have is meaning well but ending up bad
because they did not follow what the
said had they followed What the
said which is to uh listen to what her
said and listen to what M who said
listen to what said listen to the they
would have never sinned with the golden
calf because they were listening to the
they ended up serving an idol and until
this day we are suffering because of
this emerged golden calf that
unfortunately is still around till this
day so question thank you for asking it
it's one of my favorite questions thank
you Joseph what happened to geden after
the sin of Adam and Eve was it
transported to the spiritual world did
it stay on Earth is the gun Eden Adam
and Eve were in uh where theim go after
they pass very good question the uh rash
says that there are two gedin and
there's two Gom says the same thing also
the uh um there's a physical
geden or Heaven in English and there's a
spiritual Heaven there's a
physical um Gom hell and there's a
spiritual
Gom uh the physical ones are in this
world on planet
Earth not in Mars not in Pluto but
they're on planet Earth
the spiritual ones are in the upper
worlds now the uh physical ones are
limited in
size and also in time they're material
So eventually they'll be destroyed and
the Eternal one will be the permanent
one uh but nonetheless the physical one
does exist it is the very same one that
were in and thear says that they uh
there was a person
that found it found ganeden it's
obviously hidden in the world in plain
sight but nonetheless hidden and there
are special angels as theph says the uh
the Turning sword is one of the S the
angels that guards the Gate of ganeden
so no one's allowed to enter but there
was a man that uh got to it and found it
found got to the gate and wanted to uh
get in and obviously was
rejected and uh when he asked can I at
least have some type of memorabilia that
I saw this the angel found itth
appropriate to give the person a
eye an eye an eye of a human an eye of
something in a box he said here you go
now you can tell people you saw it and
that's what he had he's had to leave
then or else get killed but nonetheless
there was a person that got to ganeden
the angels do not have any concept of
mercy and maybe their humor is a little
bit off according to us but that's what
the story says and I believe there's
some other stories of different people
that saw the physical
geden uh there's also a story of uh
Yeshua lehua Le the
says the the Satan showed him geden and
he jumped into it and uh swore that he
would never leave and uh Hashem heard
the complaints of the Satan saying he
doesn't want to leave
he swore soem says let's look at every
single word that he ever said during his
life if he ever lied one time then we
have to break a swear after checking all
of the words that rhua LE ever said it
was confirmed that he never sent said a
single word of lie a single deception a
single word of dishonesty and because of
that his mouth was kados was holy and
could his words could not be broken and
he was allowed to stay in
ganeden and remain in
ganeden and be one of the 10 people that
entered ganeden
alive uh so that's another part of thear
another places and I'm sure there are
many other places but the point is is
that that is a physical geden uh there's
also physical Gom which the says there
are three entrances to Gom one in the
ocean one in
Yus and one in the desert the one in the
desert is where kak and his followers
are and there are several stories uh
even from recent
Generations uh
that the and other talk about in their
saying that uh they knew people or
themselves were uh brought to a place
where uh they heard the screams they
heard the screams of korak and his
followers in the desert there are some
Arabs that uh know the place well and
they show people where it is don't ask
me where it is I'm not a tour guide but
nonetheless the place does exist and the
people that went there one that went
there specifically he wrote about it in
his SE and uh he says that as you get
closer and closer to the place
uh the the ground gets so hot to the and
the place gets so hot that it's simply
uh un uh unbearable unbearable but you
hear the screams you hear clearly you
hear the words AEM is AIT mosu is
AIT which is what K and his followers
are screaming till this day and all of
the people that go to that GOM are
screaming constantly while they're
getting punished uh but the point being
is that there is a physical place for
Gom and says there are three entrances
to it as I said the sea meaning the
ocean the uh uh which thear says one of
theik Saw uh there's also the desert and
also in
yush also in I believe there is another
that said that he knew where the place
was in but did not disclose it to others
for fear of of for their own well-being
but nonetheless that is a physical G
there is a physical gum but of course
there is a spiritual one uh that also
exists much bigger the says the
spiritual Gom has no size the physical
ganeden is 60 times the size of Earth 60
times the size of Earth but the uh
spiritual Gom has no size why does it
not have size because more and more
people go there than people that go to
to G
and thereby continues to grow uh so uh
it's a uh it's a place unfortunately
that many people go
to May Hashem have mercy on us and allow
us to learn his truth to the point where
we fall in love with him and do Chua and
never enter and never have any of our
students followers and supporters enter
it even for a moment
amen Charlie how do sick people in and
out of Hospital know what is expected of
them obligations as far as daily prayer
Shabbat holidays are there any books
regarding Al for the elderly is sick or
some exempt uh yes uh in short surely
there are books uh about this issue
people that are suffering and so on in
so many words anything that you can do
even if it's difficult for you you are
judged for it anything that's beyond
your reach you're not judged for it so
for example if somebody has a uh uh
person that they know has a uh simply is
an incapable person is autistic to the
point of not even being able to
comprehend and communicate that person
is not being judged at all in fact it's
say that that person is likely a very
righteous soul that is doing its last
tikun before going to heaven permanently
uh but that person is not being judged
for Shabbat or anything else because
they're completely incapable on other
hand there are certain people that are
autistic
sants uh where they're very capable in
certain aspects and are incapable in
others they will be judged based on the
things they are capable of doing and
comprehending and they will not be
judged on things that they cannot
comprehend so if a person knows the
difference between right and wrong they
will be judged based on that person does
not know the difference between right
and wrong they will not be judged so of
course Hashem is merciful but at the
same token he doesn't just let things go
just because something is hard for you
or something's hard for somebody else if
a person person is a uh uh let's say for
example is very very poor Hashem is not
going to judge him for not being
generous with his Stak obviously because
you didn't bless him with money but he
will still judge him for observing
Shabbat or honoring Shabbat and even
having on Shabbat why because he can
still do all of those things without
being rich uh person that is not exactly
the most intelligent person on planet
Earth and in fact is quite stupid his IQ
is very very low Hashem is not going to
judge him uh why he wasn't
the the the one that wrote all the for
the year 5781 he won't judge him for
that but rather he will judge him of why
he didn't study tah anyway why it
doesn't matter that whether you
understand it or you don't understand it
whether you're the biggest or you're not
the biggest either way you have time and
you can study Tor so you know the
difference between right and wrong but
instead of studying to you chose to play
video games chose to play video games
you get punished for it chose to study T
even if you didn't understand but
nonetheless you fulfilled aem's will by
studying T you will get rewarded for it
the same way that the gets rewarded for
studying his tah the capabilities of a
person is decided by AEM the actions of
a person are decided by the man so
everything that a person can do they
need to do whether it's Shabbat or it's
holidays or it's uh anything else if
they can't do it simply impossible for
them to it then they won't be judged for
it uh you know but if a person is uh
only going to be able to observe mitv
through struggle they need to know that
Hashem wants them to do the mitv and he
wants them to do it through the struggle
uh one book I would recommend for people
to everybody to read one of my very dear
students G gifted it to me uh many years
ago and it's one of the best gifts I
ever got it's a book called to remain a
Jew to remain a Jew by zil shalom it was
a giant giant giant
Tes I wish I could just simply kiss his
feet just one time uh amazing amazing he
read his life story and the the the the
personal Holocaust he was going through
uh fighting against the
uhia of of of Russians that were killing
Jews for being religious going to uh the
uh the the the jails over there the
Siberia where you pretty much if you
entered you're not coming out surviving
it and doing
doing every
single he would make candles
inside he would sacrifice his life for
every single Mitzvah what does that show
us it shows us that
struggle is not an excuse for not doing
if hasem put you in a situation where
you can do the Mitzvah but it's only
through struggle it simply means that
that's your tun AEM wants the Mitzvah
expects the mitvah and wants it this way
and that's not
easy but still an obligation but if
somebody is incapable of doing it uh
because of either physical or
financial uh uh ability then obviously
that's they're not judge for they're not
what they can't do but every one of us
deep inside knows what we can and what
we can't do the book name is like I said
to remain a Jew very very good
book Le were Tamar and Y punished for
the first time they were together even
though Tamar saw through prophecy that
she had to be with him to bring the mhia
and hasem orchestrated it that way so
the Satan wouldn't intervene coming to
the mashiah at the end of the was with a
man that wasn't a husband by seducing
him and you was with a woman he thought
was a
prostitute uh so no the uh the the the
relationship
between was not only
orchestrated by a but was actually
allowed it was permissible it was
embarrassing but nonetheless it was
allowed why was it allowed first and
foremost yah was considered a king and a
king is allowed to have 18 wives and
also to have mid servants
uh pish and and things of that nature so
he was per per perfectly allowed to uh
to be with uh with uh with her uh and
she was uh commanded to be with him
because she knew he was the king uh so
there was no uh nothing nothing wrong
with it it was KES kashim uh even though
it looked like it wasn't which is every
single story that has to do with the
Messiah is a odd story that looks uh
impure but when you look inside it you
see it it's KES it's pure as pure just
like for example their grandson great
great grandson descendant of
David uh you know his relationship with
um with B looked like it was not Kosher
but thear
says anyone that says thatav sinned is
wrong DAV did not sin and anyone's going
to bring the verse in whatav says oh
yeah I sinned and so on that's only
because that uh David was being judged
on his level but it wasn't a sin from
the Tor he was allowed to be with Beva
she was permissible she was not married
because it was the custom of the day to
give the wives a get a retroactive get
when you go to war uh and therefore Beva
was a uh uh a single woman and Dav was a
king that was allowed to have more than
one wife point being is that he didn't
sin although it looked like it sinned
and he suffered for it a lot he lost a
child he was insulted for it multiple
times by the heads of the S were
insulting him because they were even
though they had big positions point
being is that a uh the acts with when it
comes to mashiah hasem makes it
look unusual in order to fight the
ramban and for to fight the uh the Satan
Satan that's what happens when you read
while you talk uh next question the
rambam says that evil spirits don't
exist anymore but I also remember
learning that there is more to this
statement than just a simple meaning
what is the meaning behind
this so the rambam is referring to
specific evil spirits and not all evil
spirits and he's also specifically
talking about spirits uh these specific
Spirits in is not in the entire world
this is a mistake that people think that
the r doesn't believe in shedim he
doesn't believe in uh angels and so on
and so forth uh this is completely
misconstrued by people uh and
incorrect ramb obviously quotes thear
countless times andar has many many
places where it talks about demons and
spirits and so on and the only time that
the uh Ramba mentions this specific
issue of not believing is that he's
specifically talking about a specific
type of demon and also in and if you can
look
into has a whole section about demons
and so on and it talks about how there
are three different types of demons this
way and there's another several types of
demons that way some demons are
completely Spirit some of them are half
man half Spirit some of them are uh
actually human beings uh in in the
demons but in the image of human beings
where they eat and sleep and even
procreate uh point being is there are
different types of uh Spirits there are
evil spirits there's mazikin there's
Angels there is whole world civilization
of all types of spirits there's a
specific one that the rambam was
referring to and not everything like
some stupid people think uh and I called
them stupid because usually those people
that think the rambam was against
mysticism and didn't believe that uh uh
this existed usually are uh people that
are anti- mysticism and anti pretty much
Torah uh in the name of the Torah or
their own version of the Torah so they
publicize it and they write articles
about it but it's complete foolishness
uh and and misunderstanding of the
basics of tah or the teachings of the
rambam shalom
uh we're almost done we're a little bit
over let's
see oh glad you liked it Jack that's a
uh I think you were the one that asked
me about uh the the rum today I'm
mistaken uh Moshe uh if a family has
just enough money to pay for their basic
necessities each month and they have a
marriage coming up in a few months how
should they go about dealing with their
financial situation take a loan ask for
charity or sponsor uh tell the other
family who is already paying for more
than half of the wedding their financial
situation so that they uh can maybe help
out more or try to find a sponsor which
would bring a lot of Shame on the groom
and his family uh so the uh I says it's
best for a person to uh ask for a loan
than to ask for a charity uh so it's
better for them to take a loan and uh
pay for the wedding and then pay for the
loan over a period of time uh rather
than asking for uh charity I know that
there's uh countless campaigns on the
internet of people asking for money for
weddings um I mean and countless people
do raise money on the internet for for
weddings and other things uh but like
you said If a person uh is going to be
embarrassed by it then doing that to
them is a uh is a sin it's not a Mitzvah
you know you uh they put the groom or
the bride a picture or a video of them
begging people for money and pretty much
for uh a long time everybody that uh
sees that video is going to look at them
as uh as lesser and so on it's not a
good uh thing I mean it's uh it's it's
definitely not something that everybody
can deal with
uh and dealing with Charity in general
is very very difficult I mean it's
extremely humbling to deal with Charity
so it's not for everybody to collect
charity even if it's for other people
even if it's for other people uh I can
tell you personally my own test I mean
it's a uh just being in the world of uh
of of kiru and living on a miracle
practically every single month and uh
collecting uh you know running the
organization of
collecting St from people uh it's not a
was never an easy thing it's still not
an easy thing because you know it's a
coming from where I came from being in a
business world making uh uh millions and
millions of dollars and now having to uh
respond to people where tell oh listen
can you uh do me a favor can you change
my uh my monthly contribution to bem
from $18 a month to $20 a month and you
actually have to like take that
seriously and go do it that took a lot
of uh humility and a lot of uh you know
destroying my ego to get to that point
it wasn't an easy thing you know it's
usually what I would tell people $18 how
about this I'll give you $18 and you
just leave me alone you know so that
that was that was where I came from I
wasn't used to collecting I was the guy
giving changed things uh and we uh we
were more charitable today than ever
before and we are part of our
organization is to help a lot of people
uh that are seriously needy and so on uh
and I don't uh I don't have anything
missing B for my life provides and even
if it's a uh in you know people have uh
a lot to say about what they want to say
does what he does
and we have a life full of blessings but
those blessings didn't come with uh so
easily there was a lot of uh you know
crushing of the ego destroying of the
ego and which is
uh in the process on a regular basis
that needs to happen for a person not
everybody's ready for it especially
young people that are you know probably
18 19 20 22 years old getting married or
25 years old not all of them are ready
to get their egoo crushed on uh
collecting money for their wedding so
having a campaign publicizing their face
uh saying that collecting money for
takaka is not for everybody uh
especially if the family is uh uh well
presented in uh really a fictitious way
nonetheless but nonetheless well
presented in the community as if they
have money and now the world finds out
they don't have any money this could
also create a very big problem uh where
the other family uh will uh get gunshot
and not want to uh have the uh their son
or daughter marry uh your family member
because they figured that you have money
they uh you don't have any money they
have money maybe you get something else
and that's unfortunately how things are
so rather than put the marriage at risk
and the reputation at risk and
embarrassment and so on I would
recommend taking a loan and let hem
bless you that you'll pay for it over
time that's what I recommend if uh if a
person uh uh you know wants to do
something else then you know they can do
whatever they want but if you ask my
opinion that's what it
is how do you stay away from a
mean I'm surrounded by them I wish I
could help them but from my
understanding I'm not allowed to there's
a lot in my neighborhood the best way to
uh stay away from meim people that
mislead people like Christian
missionaries uh and uh teach things that
are against the tah the best way to do
it is like the rambam says you have to
move you have to move to a place that
does not have them and if you cannot
find a place that does not have them
move to the desert what does it mean
move to the desert you could either
literally move to the desert or you
could simply just not leave your house
and never associate with any of those
people you uh wake up in the morning you
go to work you do your work you go back
home if you could work out of the house
it's even better uh order groceries
instead of go to the supermarket
literally become a little bit of a
Hermit just not to associate with those
people I don't think it's necessary to
get to that extent I think people can uh
uh occupy themselves and stay away from
people without going to extremes but
nonetheless there is no permission to
associate with people that are
missionaries uh which we also call as
meim people that are anti T and and not
out of ignorance but rather out of
knowledge uh but if people are uh you
know secular and anti- tah because of
ignorance they don't know anything uh
then the best thing to do is to share
Torah with them
indirectly indirectly meaning instead of
you talking you let us talk by giving
them one of our C DS or giving them one
of our USBS or giving them one of our
lectures which actually reminds me uh
starting tonight there is a new special
on
the website for anyone that cares about
and wants to do kiru but is not uh
succeeding or is not able to give people
CDs so we told you we already have two
USBS we have two USBS we have a USB that
has the tuna breit
uh series of lectures about uh almost 80
lectures or so as well as a bunch of
movies including my my my life story and
so on so you have uh you know dozens of
hours of to I think it's something like
35 40 hours of to One USB and then
another USB with 179 lectures of the P
series and also about uh I think it's
nine movies including the movie of my my
life story 400 plus Plus hours of T
between the two you have almost 500
hours of t on the website we sell them
for $50 they're expensive they're uh but
nonetheless they're worth it anyone that
has gotten them has thank me for it and
uh I highly recommend it problem is with
that price it's hard to do kiru with
them because uh people are reluctant to
buy uh you know 10 of them when it's you
know 50 bucks or pop they figured maybe
I could just spend the money on CDs or
something else and they end up not
buying anything in the end so to help
people do kiru with something more
modern and more up to-date to uh the
needs of uh the technology of today what
we're doing is this you could obviously
continue sharing things for free from
our app the B app that's on the iOS
store and the Android store you could
share the YouTube links for free or you
can give somebody a gift that's going to
give him forever because it's uh it's
something physical tangible and you can
buy the uh uh USBS and starting tonight
it's going to be if you buy two we're
going to give you two for free so in
essence we're 50/50 Partners if you buy
one you're not getting one free but if
you buy two you get two free why because
if you buy two that means you want to do
kiru if you want to do kiru I want to do
kiru and we do K together so you buy two
you get two free and uh you can do it so
where you can buy let's say for example
two uh um um you could buy two two you
can do whatever mix and match you want
bottom line is you buy two you get two
free and uh this is our investment into
your K our partnership into your K so
when if you want to help people my
recommendation is to give them those
USBS or the
CDs uh and uh and give them a
opportunity to see the truth from a
different vessel that's not you if you
directly go and you're the one that
tries to help people many many times
they will reject it because they will
feel like you're criticizing them but if
you're giving them a teachings where
somebody else is teaching the public
many times people accept it in a very
positive way in a way where they say wow
thank you for caring about me last
question for the night I have a friend
who tells other kids with uh who tells
other kids with wasting seed issues that
they should not do it on Sunday Monday
Wednesday Friday and Shabbat for example
but the that the other way the other
days Tuesday and Thursday they do it he
says otherwise they are very addicted
and he's seen this help them very much
to diminish their desire he is the kind
of person who will be receptive to M but
only if I have specific sources to prove
it what he's doing is wrong please give
me multiple sources uh to prove him that
this is not uh the proper thing to do to
tell people that there is a
um uh there is a permission to make a
sin is wrong is wrong you're not allowed
to tell people that they're allowed to
waste seed once a week or even once a
month to do that is wrong it is against
the 13 principles of Faith where it says
the toah will never change no matter the
generation same T got the same that we
have today to say that you're allowed to
waste seed which calls the biggest sin
in the the says that there's no CH for
it meaning that does not help you do CH
for it to call to say to people it's
allowed to do it once in a while even
once a week once a month once a year is
100% against the tah uh and if he does
it in public with people it's also which
the says that uh his suffering that he
will get for will only begin after he
dies unless he does chat which suffering
will be in this world but nonetheless
it's a very big problem but if he tells
people don't weigh seed don't weigh seed
if you're going to weigh seed anyway
weigh seed less don't weigh seed you
know that the guy is addicted don't
waste seed it's at least if you're gonna
you do it what you do it every day okay
try to uh not do it a few times a week
try not do it a few times a week and uh
go down little by little that is not a
uh uh uh something that you necessarily
teach the public to do do less do less
do less but it does have a source of t
where it talks about a uh the different
sins and if he does this and or that sin
in essence the whole point of the
teaching in there where is talking about
how it is still beneficial to have
people sin less even if they're going to
sin anyway but at least they'll sin less
because Hashem will punish them for each
individual sin so there is a benefit in
teaching them not to sin uh or at least
to sin less but doesn't mean that it
absolves them from the sin they're still
going to get punished they're still
going to go to Gom and he has to tell
them that there is no permission for you
to do it if you do it even one time a
year you will go to G and you will get
punished unless you do true up for it
but to stop 100% cold turkey is very
very difficult for most people so the
you know so if if you can if you don't
have the strength to do it the spiritual
and physical strength to do it at least
start by cutting down cutting down do
less and less and less and less and L
less learn more and more and more T
learn especially about this specific
topic and over time you will eventually
stop cold turkey 100% but to tell people
that they're allowed to sin even one
time is a countless countless list of
sins it's it's disagreeing
it's what are many sins never allowed
tell them they're allowed to do it but
to say to sin less
that's not necessarily A Bad Thing and
in fact for that specific sin in most
cases is the only way to get people to
stop most people can't handle stopping
right way I have more experience in this
field than probably most people in the
world uh that are public
speakers in English for sure uh and I
deal with countless countless people and
I could tell you I deal with yes
shead
breast secular people ashkanazi Safari
yemenite anything you want from all over
the world all four corners of the world
from Australia from America from Israel
from uh uh Bangladesh from Canada people
from all over the world contact me about
my sh about t regular basis I have
messages from people Mas thanking me and
praising me all types of Praises that
are only deserved to Hashem but the
point being I just had to recorded just
the other day that uh yes B telling me
how I'm saving his entire community of
all the b in his in his Yesa all the b
in yes being saved by the right after I
got a big huge Rabbi from uh one of the
most religious places in America telling
me that he thinks I'm the mashiah joking
but he says you're the mhia you're
you're a mashiah I said why say you're
saving entire shot with your teachings
anyone that listens to it stops he says
the problem is not not enough people are
listen to it because not enough know
about it we need to do more more and
more so it's reality is it's not just
them teaching it sometimes these kids
these men these people contact me
personally for specific advice uh and uh
I give it to them and guide them and
many times uh they are people that are
very well-versed in the tah in other
places but simply uh did not know enough
about the magnitude of the sin and
became addicted to it by the time they
found out it is terrible and to get out
of this addiction is not so easy just
like drugs and just like any other
addiction it's not uh possible POS
always for everyone uh to uh to have the
strength to uh eliminate it right away
so it needs to be in stages now you
never tell them that it's allowed to do
it even a single time you're never
allowed to tell people it's allowed to
do it a single time but you know that
their reality is that for them at this
stage they could only go down in stages
you know if they were doing it every
single day cut it to uh once a week cut
it to twice a week cut it as as much as
possible you got to push them you got to
push them sometimes to do it less less
less and less and keep telling them the
truth that they have to uh get out of
this and I have a few kids that uh have
a
um uh fall back into it and they say oh
listen you know I still keep Shabbat I
still do other things it's not so bad
right I no no it's not so bad if you
don't mind being in Gom for eternity oh
Rabbi why you so extreme it's not
extreme it's not extreme I give you the
sources you can read the books yourself
ah no I know the Books Okay so what do
you want for my life I I told you the
books I told you the places what do you
want so I thought that maybe you'll be
uh you'll what do you want me give you a
Pat in the back because you wasted seed
because you desecrated hm's name with
your with your breit you're ruining your
n what what do you want me to do you
it's not allowed okay but I fell I said
okay you fell fell it's fine fell fell I
understand fell everybody falls at some
point with something but to to make it
okay that's a problem it's never okay
never okay we pick up ourselves we get
up we do it and then so in essence again
to tell people tell people that that
they uh to do to to do chuva in stages
is necessary necessary and even
recommended for some sins specifically
when it comes to G like like wasting
seed that's a the rambam even writes
that it's the most difficult thing to do
chuva for because it's both a physical
and a spiritual uh ilet uh and and an
addiction but the point being is so to
tell people to to do chuva you have to
to to to certain reality that some
people have to do chuva in stages
reality it's a reality not everybody
some people could do it cold turkey I
have several students that did it cold
turkey and B they're successful and
doing a lot of things and usually those
are the biggest Miracles usually those
are the people that succeed the most but
nonetheless a uh I have some people like
that and they succeed in a very big way
but the point being is is that it's not
easy for them it's not easy for them
it's a big M it's a big sacrifice but
they do it and hasm blesses those people
in a very very big way same thing with
ladies that uh immediately literally
overnight throw out all burn all of her
IM modest clothes and uh change the her
entire wardrobe become modest overnight
become a tadika overnight those people
usually get the biggest amount of
blessings and kadus in their life and
miracles and so on I've seen it time and
time again so to tell them that they
have to do Chua you have to they tell
them that there's a reality they may
have to do certain things certain parts
of CHA in stages is a reality but to
tell them that they're allowed to sin is
100% forbidden in all cases never
allowed to tell anybody that they're
allowed to sin never allowed to tell
anybody they're allowed to sin so if
he's telling people that they're allowed
to sin he is making a mistake of all
mistakes but if he's telling them that
they just simply need to do chuva in by
diminishing their Desire by going in
steps then he's doing what the talks
about and other do and I myself do tell
people to get out of it because it's a
reality simply a reality uh you can't uh
you can't expect people to uh change
their life in one second uh it's uh in
certain aspects because they have they
have certain addictions desires and so
on okay I'm a little bit tired and I
think that we've covered a lot of ground
today the questions today were
absolutely spectacular I appreciate them
I enjoy this sh quite a bit uh hopefully
you enjoy the sh and learned from the sh
as much as I did uh again reminder
anyone that wants to uh buy the uh USBS
on the website uh starting now it's two
for two uh two uh four for the price of
two you buy two you get two free uh
that's our investment to your community
uh remember we have a uh campaign for
the Yeshiva for the tuna movie uh the
tunit
movie will be posted within the next
couple of weeks if everything continues
to go as it's going uh so uh anyone that
wants to invest in it now to help us
Market it to help us do uh the biggest
Kem in in the history of of of of movies
of of Torah movies uh once to be part of
it this is where to invest your money uh
if uh it's it's anyone that understands
this project literally uh would would
sell a lung for it that's what I'm try
trying to tell you it's there's nothing
else that's more valuable than this
thing it's a uh it's a very very big
movie it'll have a huge impact
BM and uh those investors those
investors are uh are smart those
investors are smart especially the ones
that are sacrificing a lot to make those
Investments uh you know more substantial
than they would normally uh again I
don't want to missell it everyone has to
have to have their own uh their own
judgment their own uh uh calculations
but um if if anyone was uh knew how
significant it was and how much uh good
was going to come out of the movie of my
personal life how much would you have
invested in it if I told you that that
movie cost us about
$150,000 just to get it out to the
market would you've invested $150,000
after knowing that you have tens and
tens of thousands of B cha from it for
one B Chua you should invest $100
million one not not 10,000 for one if I
told you it cost $150,000 for that movie
$150,000 for that movie and you have
tens of thousands
of Torah and science only knows how many
B it has countless countless B it's
still getting to this day it's even on
our channel it's in his channel and
people are still watching it we're
giving us CDs out till this day people
are literally getting CD players just to
watch that movie how
many has made from that movie Torah and
science if if somebody would told you
you could invest $1 $200,000 into that
movie to get literally an endless amount
of bich from it would you do it you you
literally sell your house for it why
because this movie and I'm not saying
this for business I'm not taking a penny
out of this this movie is bigger than
all of them why it's today it's today
it's the ton of the generation it's the
uh what shim told us is what's going to
be the T of the generation and it's
anyone with eyes and ears knows it is
the tun of the generation it's t and
it's the same uh an even better
production than the movie of my personal
life than any other movie out
there it's something out of this world
people that invest into this movie are
literally buying
themselves and I'm not talking about you
just throw a few hundred bucks at it
when you have a few hundred thousand in
the stock market people that are
generous with it are going to literally
buy themselves in a very big way even if
you put up a few $100 into it you're
still getting a big mitvah but everybody
has to realize this is an opportunity of
a lifetime that I don't think is going
to be available uh again at least not
anytime soon not the same opportunity if
ever simply because it's the first movie
of its kind it's something that I
believe is uh from my experience making
over 150 movies by now uh and seeing
countless movies from different
organizations M's movies
and uh other rabbis movies out there
you're gonna see the movie it's a uh it
just out of this world people that
invest in it are the smartest people in
the world simply said to everyone thank
you again for everyone for learning with
