[Music] just came back from Ed and it's kind of sad you see hundreds of thousands of displaced families and now they're living in hotels they don't have their regular income stream anymore I saw firsthand what Raba Yehuda Azad took upon himself the next day right after October 7th he bought trucks that could bring food he created barbecues for the soldiers at the front line he went out to all parts of the country wherever there was needs he was there for them to Rabbi Yehuda aad I remember speaking to you uh soon after the war had broke out you one of the first people that geared up to making sure that food and meals were being delivered for the last 20 years I've had the distinct honor and privilege to be involved with keha and for up until this past year it was one common denominator kameha was feeding the needy they were feeding them with dignity almost every single day of the year I saw with my eyes how he had list prepared knowing the name the people how many people in the whole house and what they need years after year October 7 have changed the game normally when we would go out for pesak we would go out to feed 2 to 3,000 families today it's 5,000 plus rabud aad who tried and tested he's proven himself a thousand times over from K close friend of mine he's figured out a way to afford 5,000 families I said that for the mere cost of $180 what rab yud azra did is tremendous giving us the opportunity to adopt the family and to make a p for $180 to us is not that much but for them the amount of food he gives them $500 worth he gets from wholesalers for 180 some families will get one package some larger families will get two question is how many families do you want to help especially after October 7th our people are in great need and there's no greater shal than RAB AZ when we said our we're reminded all those that are hungry come and eat the way we could fulfill that is by feeding the hungry literally for 180 bucks times however many said that we want to make we're able to bring a little little more sunlight into uh people's lives that have become unfortunately quite dark I urge everybody uh to participate in this wonderful project that our entire Community is coming together to participate in what I find amazing in this year's unique campaign is that we have complete Unity every synagogue every school every organization is taking part and every Rabbi and every lay leader has welcomed us with open arms please everybody give give from all your hearts please when IE Franco calls you give generously make sure that they get the money that they need to feed the needy
