giving a lot of feedback from a lot of you are getting from it where we discussed the evil inclination and more details about it the more we know about the enemy the uh the more we have tools to and now on with the show so we uh decided that we're going to do uh stump the rabbi tonight uh where the just simply a lot of T A lot of tah that we have to cover uh and uh we figured that this is the right time because I'm getting a lot of questions from everyone especially based on the Shure that we did on Sunday it certainly uh uh woke up a few people uh from people people that are not religious all types of people uh I've told me that they uh saw it as a uh uh simply a life-changing uh lecture and we want to expand upon it and especially when you have all of it in the there's nothing better than that and we make time to for your questions after that so starts off with the famous verse that the translation is when you uh when you will go out to war against your enemies and Hashem your God will deliver him into your hand and you will capture his captives so before we get into the verse itself we know that the Bal the masters of musar use this verse as a symbolic for the war against our own evil inclination meaning the same evil monster that's within every single one of us that we discussed on Sunday night in the uh uh in the series aboutut that's same evil monster that's trying to destroy us that same evil monster that is uh always awake even while we're sleeping always thinking about us even if we forgot them always considering something a big deal even if we don't think it's a big deal that's same evil monster within us this particular verse is the verse that the masters of musar say is symbolic of that war the war against the evil inclination and the truth is we we are living in a generation of ignorance and confusion when it comes to the definition of evil what is evil because some people going to tell you that one person's evil perhaps is another person's pleasure so who's to say what's evil now as demented and strange as that sounds this is really the logic that's out there today across the pl the planet and really it has always it's always been that way and unless are living a life of Torah the world becomes very very confusing and the picture as far as what Clarity is concerned uh becomes uh very blurry so there's nothing better than the t itself to not only guide us to not only teach us but to clarify to us this specific thing what is evil in the eyes of hem who was the one that created everything including the concept of evil now even though he created Adam and Eve and he gave them the ability to do good and bad and they chose to do good in a lot of ways but made a mistake and did bad in that one particular way where they ate from for the forbidden fruit God did not make them sin he created the ability to sin but he never wanted him the sin he never told them to sin in fact he told them the opposite he simply gave them the ability this is the same concept as if your parents give you a car you're a brand new driver you're a teenager they give you the ability to drive places by giving you a car didn't give you the permission to drive fast and and without control and in fact whether you drive safely or don't drive safely is not within their hands you have now the ability to do whatever it is that you please they simply gave you the ability gave us life and in this life we have the ability to do whatever it is that we want we have the free will if if you will to do whatever pleases us but God tells us everything that you do will have a consequence if you do good the consequence will be good if you do bad meaning evil in the eyes of hem the consequence will be bad both in this world and the next as we learned from the in the past lecture that a person that follows the evil inclination thinks and deludes thems to thinking to believing that they're going to at least enjoy their time enjoy the sin not realizing that that sin that evil that's in the eyes of Hashem evil is going to make the person lose both in this world and the next and in fact had they not done the evil they would have had even more joy in this world and the next but of course in order for us to go in the way of Hashem we have to know more than anything else what is evil because good is a little bit easier to identify we have mitv and we also have common sense it's common sense that if you help somebody you know cross the street because they can't if you help somebody pick up something because it's too heavy if you help somebody financially because they don't have the ability to uh to make ends meet everyone knows every hasem put Common Sense within all of us everyone knows that's good both righteous nodes as well as the uh Wicked ones both righteous Jews as well as the wicked ones no what's good evil on the other hand gets a little shaky why because evil is manipulated by the yet by the Satan himself in order to confuse a person to think that evil is good and that's one of the things that makes a lot of people fall into his trap now before we learn a little more about about the Satan himself from the the section of it that we did not read in essence a continuation of what we read on Sunday let's see what AEM tells us in this week's par that will give us a little bit again this is not an all-encompassing lecture that's going to cover everything that Hashem ever said this is just simply some things that are mentioned in this par that we will compare to our society today you know you see that the uh the world was sides it's a good idea because it'll show people this is real what's happening and so on or you could argue that it's a terrible idea why because the world has already seen much worse things and didn't care and in fact went against us anyway so why shock people again why torment people again why give people more nightmares either way we all know that this is all coming from the hand of hem where in the month of el is reminding us nobody's promise tomorrow is reminding us that even though the Sanhedrin stopped executing the Sinners the Sanhedrin stopped you know uh uh you know telling people what the law is the S sanedrin that's spoken about in this week's par is no longer here until the mashah comes but as the says the saned is not executing but that does not mean that the capital punishments are gone took place took the place of the Sedin meaning that if somebody was supposed to get a stoning p uh death penalty for things like violating Shabbat idolatry things of that nature have been uh these punishments most of the time most of them would have been uh punishments by the bedine death penalty but uh for the last couple of thousand years hasem does it and the says how does somebody know that there was a they were punished for somebody that dies under the age of 50 that means that they got punished for is somebody that a um sees their kids die during their lifetime about the people as far as personality and but unfortunately we're not Torah observant and uh as a result of that they suffered seeing their 29-year-old son who was extremely successful in material in this world but it completely Bang rupt when it came to life of tah and unfortunately may may this be to his Merit and Elevate his n to a much better place than we understand uh a place uh people go to and unfortunately this 29y old uh young man died in a horrible car crash driving a half a million dollar car now I know that this is uncomfortable news no one wants to hear but that's the point of the lectures that's the point of the tah it's to understand what is the truth someone that's looking for lies someone that's looking for sugar coating they should simply go somewhere else listen to somebody singing to you somebody telling you stories about how much everyone is righteous and hasm loves everyone no matter what but if a person wants to know what the Torah actually says unless they're willing to read it study it with they're simply never going to know and they're going to Simply live aive I live that kind of a life for most of my life I listen to people tell me that everything is great despite the being the opposite I was lied to for many years where people only cared about me giving them money but they didn't care about where my soul was going they didn't care about where my life was going and the moment that I found out what the truth is I knew that I'm not the only one I'm not the only victim of this world full of lies so this is a very important place for everyone to read you don't even need to be a Torah scholar to understand much of what's actually being said here in order to understand what God thinks is evil in the beginning of the par it talks about a war and of course nobody likes War even people that fight Wars don't like Wars why War has horrible things but then it talks about captives now right away tell us that if there are captives that means this is not a war of Mitzvah meaning this is not a war God commanded us to go uh go on like for example the war against amalik or the war against the Canaanite Nations because over there God specifically told us you're not allowed to have any captives everyone has to die meaning complete Anni annihilation of the Enemy No Mercy Mercy is not allowed there's no prisoners there's no captives there's no nothing there's no peace treaties the way that God says go to war is very very different than the way the Israeli government goes to war Israeli go government goes to war with almost a uh like a they give the enemy a notice that they're going to attack him listen we're going to blow up your house leave right listen we're going to throw some Bombs over there leave get all the terrorists to a different location why don't you just give the soldiers water guns and and that's it but just make sure the water is not too cold because then perhaps they're going to catch a cold maybe you can give them some towels maybe you could drop instead of the letters of warning that they send the enemy on a regular basis and all the uh YouTube videos they put on and the Tik Tok videos they put on to tell people of how developed the Israeli Army is instead of doing that why don't you use the budget to send towels for the water guns because you're disabling the soldiers from surviving this war literally you have leaders that hate their own people I know the world thinks the opposite the world thinks that the Jews and you know the Israelis are being vicious and so on and so forth but that's anyone that's unfamiliar and just looking at things from the perspective of Television is going to think that anyone that actually understands the case from on the ground and living with these people and knowing what's actually happening sees that it's quite the opposite but either way we see that we're not winning a war that should have been won within literally 24 hours on one end they're telling us that the Israeli uh government has uh the the uh the most developed and most sophisticated the most blah blah blah Army on other end we can't beat a bunch of degenerates with flip-flops doesn't make any sense doesn't make any sense here in the Torah tells us yes there's going to be Wars there's a war of mitvah no captives no hostages destroy everyone and then there's a war that's a discretionary war in a discretionary War they're going to be captives because you're not commanded to kill everybody and of course the Torah tells us that Hashem understands his creation he says when you're going to have some captives for sure the yet the evil inclination is going to come to you specifically at that time where everybody is full of hormones full of testosterone full of everything and all of a sudden one of the captives catches your eye young Soldier full of hormones and one of the captives it's a non-jewish woman looks pretty in your eye looks absolutely beautiful in your eye and to says and you will see among the captives a woman who is beautiful full in appearance and you will desire her and you will take her to yourself for a wife you shall first bring her into the midst of your house she shall shave her head and let her nails grow she shall remove the Garment of her captivity from upon ourselves and she shall sit in your house and weep for her father and her mother for a full month after that you may come to her and live with her and she shall be a wife to you so here we see that the Torah in essence understands the creation and this the sages teach us is one of the places where is allowing the yet to win if you will where he knows that if he does not permit this particular situation people are going to end up making things much worse meaning they'll sin anyway the in the middle of a war is uncontrollable people are going to fail so to make something lesser evil than the evil that it can be Hashem says okay you can take you saw that beautiful non-jewish woman I'll let you have her but there are specific instructions of how and in essence the garat teaches us that the instructions of letting shaving our hair letting her uh nails grow letting her weep for a month and uh then after that finally she converts to Judaism and uh then you can marry her that whole thing is simply to give the person the idea that to go to a restaurant no problem go to a kosher restaurant you want to go to work make money no problem just make sure it's an ethical business and you're not in some Tye of predatory lending or some type of scam business you want to get married no problem just make sure you marry if you're Jewish you marry a Jewish person you're not Jewish don't marry a Jewish person marry a non-jew simple meaning Hashem is allowing us to do anything that we want but there Specific Instructions for everything and therefore anytime we violate those instructions that's in essence what turns it into evil evil is in essence the opposite of the will of hem Hashem said a a person doesn't want to do it a they want to do three they want to do Circle they want to do something else they don't want to do you know anything remotely close to what hasm says Hashem says when you do the opposite of what I said not only do you lose out of all the benefits that you would get if you do what I said but you actually will get punished for doing something that's contrary to it now even here Hashem tells us there are times where something is forbidden and it's clear everyone is clear that it's forbidden to kill people unless you're defending yourself everyone is clear that rape is forbidden there's no permissible way everyone is clear that you're not allowed to steal everyone is clear that idolatry is forbidden everyone is clear they are not allowed to drive on Shabbat if you're a Jew if you're a non-jew drive away wherever you want everyone's clear about those things the problem is that when a person has the evil evil inclination as their teacher as their motivator as their inspiration without even even realizing it they'll find a way to make the Forbidden allowed and here they'll stop here and say look look God allows you to marry a non-jew without reading all the instructions furthermore they won't read into what else it says where hasem says well you know what even in this particular ex-wife and so on they didn't really want to get remarried and somehow along the way you heard about the concept of pish which was a maid servant that the was permissible in the Biblical times for get to such an understanding simple a person thinks that they're much more righteous than what they really are so before we even learn about the wayward son we actually see that Hashem says if a man one who is the true firstborn rather he must set apart the true firstborn the son of the hated one so here the toah is telling us a guy married two wives this according to the to you're allowed to marry more than one wife as long as the first wife permits it today it's not done anymore with the exception of a few places in the world Yemen Morocco still a few people that do it in the Safari term on other things when it comes to money and savings and building people tend to think long term they want to have a nest egg for the future for retirement even though they're only 20 years old and just entered the workforce they want to have a house for kids even though they just got married and they're not even sure if they're pregnant yet for the first time they want to have all of these different Security even though they're not even sure they're going to live in the same city next year year they want to have all of these things for the future people build a whole lot on a future they may not even live to see but that's just the reality but they want to think long term long term but when it comes to certain things especially when it comes to desires and lust people allow the to take control and the the Satan convinces them to think short term ah come on you only live once ah come on it's only tonight ah come on just have a bite have a taste have a this have a that come on it's only today it's only this one time opportunity last chance you know all of this stuff that goes into a person's head and poisons his mind or her mind to think that it's only a short-term thing it's only tonight the party just go it's only this it's only that only only only what they don't realize is that even if you don't want to think about long-term judgment like we've discussed many times over the years and had a whole film about it Gom kafak all that stuff in so many words Real Life After Life after this life there's real life and that life is eternal and what that eternity presents is based on what you cooked in this life even if a person doesn't want to think that they want to think I'm living in this world right now I want to think about this world right now this segment tells it all why a woman's going to think listen what's the big deal so I have a relationship with a guy before I get married so I have a relationship with a girl before I get married so what what's the big deal what's the worst that could happen you know what what she's going to get pregnant going to get pregnant it's not planned whatever you know we go to the doctor and commit murder but you know that has a different uh name for it they call abortion just to you know pacify people's conscience they don't want to call it murder they don't realize how many curses these things bring upon a person's life and they're not going to realize it you know when they're going to realize that promiscuity is the curse of all curses that immorality is the curse of of all curses that immodesty is the curse of all curses you know when they're going to realize that literally they curse thems and I'm not talking about because you know violating Shabbat and eating pork and I'm simply talking about all issues of morality being emodest being promiscuous intermarriage all of those things that have to do with morality just that brings no end to the vers and this is both for Jews and Gentiles obviously much more extraordinary for the Jews because they have more laws but nonetheless immorality immodesty all of those things bring curses on a person's life to the maximum and everyone sees it when when they have kids once they have kids they realize they made them the stake of their life acting the way they did doing the things they did why because whatever you did your kids will be worse whatever way you did your kids will be much worse and people end up literally suffering as prisoners in their own houses as younger and older parents watching their little terrorists inside their house house torture them torment them curse them out disrespect them in public Whenever However and they have no idea what to do they have relationships they wish did not exist with their kids kids calling their parents by their first names kids stealing from them kids doing things literally by definition what the way word child is described in this parasa where the Torah says that there was a wayward child who was a glutton of meat and a guzzler of wine in so many words Rashi explains to us is that he got to the point where he's so addicted to his desires even though he's only 12 and a half years old 13 years old there a m as far as his age it's literally a a a a period of time of six months he's a young kid just became possibly a teenager possibly but he's addicted to his desires he likes to eat nonstop he wants steaks he wants Burgers he wants hot dogs he wants he wants he wants and that's not enough he wants some wine I want to have a drink I want to have this I want to go here I want to play video games I want a new computer I want a ps7 PS five I want to this I want to go to movies I want to go baseball I want I want and the parents don't know what to do tell okay why don't you learn to today you learn to I want to eat you learn to I want to watch a movie why don't you act nicely you act nicely give me what I ask and he's nastier than nasty this disgusting despicable human being but after all he's still their son to says kill him that's to says they bring him to the bed the bed sees you stole money from your parents to go buy some alcohol to go buy some steak that's what you sto that's what you did they whip him that's the warning goes back home a week later he heals he wants to take revenge against his parents steal some more money more disrespectful more this there more that continues going to eat drink and be a disgusting person his parents tell them you have to stop we'll take you to the bedine again ah come on they can't do nothing to me this little 12y old 13-y old loser talks to his parents like the average kid today feels comfortable speaking to his parents the average kid today feels comfortable cursing his parents out I have some kids telling me that they grew up smoking marij with their parents thinking nothing of it bringing girls to the house to sleep over bringing guys to the house to sleep over and any parent that doesn't know what sleepovers means is a they should not be allowed to have kids just like you have education in order before you take a certain profession there literally be a education before you're allowed to have kids before you're allowed to have a relationship but unfortunately the world doesn't work that way but that's what the Torah is for but the Torah says that after after they warn that kid and he fails they bring him back to the bedine and the bedine kills him even though he's only 13 years old why better to kill him now before he becomes an outright criminal and starts killing people and and doing all types of horrible things in so many words what is the Tor teaching us we obviously don't have a right now there's no death penalties right now what is the point of all this learning this every single year we get to this P we learn this again in fact if you learn you learn this multiple times what what's the point of all this it's to remind us you thought that once you're going to that war you have a chance to win because you know who you're fighting but if you think that the war is outside it's in the media it's anti-Semitism it's it's this it's all types of other things that means that the got you he's got you on the hook and he's leading you away from the real war don't fall for that trap the war is within us and the doesn't stop and will literally knowing that something is heretical and still staying there I I don't really understand how people do that but that's again that's how that's my personality so I don't know yours uh you know some people have you know knowledge of the truth but it's hard for them to fight for it they don't have that strength which again doesn't make them a bad person just simply they not everybody has the same uh abilities so what a person needs to do is to make sure that when there is teachings of heresy they simply use their two fingers that the gar says the fingers are shaped in this way and the ears are shaped in this way because hasem specifically made each one of us have fingers that fit directly into their ears so they don't have to listen to heresy and L and all types of forbidden speech so when there's any teachings of heresy and and anything else that's out there use their fingers appropriately and they're fulfilling a MIT from secondly they should study a lot of Truth a lot of Torah uh and uh look for a way out now if getting out of that Yeshiva is going to happen let's say in a month from now and they've already been there for several years and they've survived fine but if they're getting out of that Yeshiva is going to be another couple years from now there's no way that they're going to survive in a uh in in the same fashion uh they're going to be damaged the the rambam writes that no matter what a person says you know he's always going to be affected by his environment so even if a person is knows that something is wrong um if he stays around it long enough listening to it eventually it'll affect them so it's it's a uh the fact that the person that's going to a heretical Yeshiva is not a heretic himself or her you know is is is is a miracle we're not allowed to rely on miracles to last forever person that knows that has to get out as soon as possible what books teach cabala uh if you don't know what books teach cabala then I would say that you're not fit to learn cabala um so cabala is not for people that are new to the Tora cabala is for people that are experts in all of the fundamental teachings of the tah meaning they've completed the talmud bav multiple times talmi uh uh certainly certain parts of certain parts of the different they've completed a large part of the you know of the foundations of the Tora and now they have permissions from their Rabbi to start learning cabala but if a person doesn't even know what where to learn cabala needless to say they're not fit uh to uh to to read cabala and I know that there are some people out there on the internet that say that they teach cabala um um I can tell you this if they're really uh most of the time they're not really teaching cabala they're just teaching things from books like the zos which is really a series of books that have uh all types of teachings in it including cabala but it's not only cabala there's a lot of other things like you know that are not cabala so they're teaching it from there and it making it sound like as if this is cabala but in reality it's not so why because they think that that's they're trying to sell uh their uh their you know like they're trying to Market it so they're using it for marketing purposes they're saying cabal because they know that people want the forbidden fruit I mean they're more attracted to learn things that are not even relevant for them uh that are too uh Advanced for them than to learn what they're supposed to learn which is you know that's also uh uh uh something that uh uh they need in their life like the basic foundations of Judaism the reward and Punishment the mitv and so on and so forth so most people that saying they're teaching cabala they're not really teaching cabala there are some that are outright frauds where they'll teach you certain words and terminology from cabala but they're doing it in a completely inappropriate and wrong way so they'll say certain words they'll even say certain teachings like for example the cabala center the cabala center is a complete fraud it's it's it's uh forbidden to associate with them forbidden to read their books forbidden to attend their places it's been a fraud since day one why because the founder and everybody that's there are complete Heretics against the tah they don't observe the tah they uh mock the tah uh and they think that uh they're cabalists it's it's complete mockery of Judaism uh they even uh have recently made certain uh uh marketing together with the Christian uh the Christian church so just to show you uh how far they are from the truth but the point is is that uh just because something is called cabala doesn't mean that it's really cabala even if somebody's teaching it if they are not uh a that's a very very serious uh and and and righteous Jew even if they say the words it's it's like it's like a uh you know air into the wind it's worthless and and the vast majority of the time they distort uh things to such an extent that they literally teach you the opposite of the truth the opposite they'll they'll read you the words but they'll arrive with the opposite conclusion and I've seen this many times where people literally will read something they'll ask me a question they'll send me a certain uh a uh certain uh picture of some page and literally you'll see they're reading what they're reading but they're somehow arriving at the opposite conclusion and sometimes it's just simply a person misunderstands but there are many times uh this is a has uh other other reasoning for it and uh when it comes to the world of cabala and and these types of teachings the uh 100% of the time without exception you will see those people that are false teachers arrive at the wrong conclusions uh so that's the second type uh the third type are the ones that are just irresponsible teachers meaning they may know a little bit of cabala uh uh but they present themselves as if they know a lot and then they teach certain aspects of it of the little that they know to an audience that even knows less than them which is inappropriate to say it nicely forbidden according to many many to teach cabala to the public has never been allowed it's just simply not something that's appropriate for the public uh it won't be helpful for the public but uh there are people that present themselves as if they're doing it I can tell you this from from from learning and uh being connected and knowing even a couple of uh very serious uh cabala is never something that you learn in public and when it's learned it's usually a one-on-one or maybe two three people four people with their their main teacher and this is after the teacher has nourished them and and built them over years then he'll give them some little titbits of it it's never going to be to the masses it's never going to be a YouTube thing anyone that's telling you they're teaching cabala on the Internet is one of those three categories that I mentioned to you if your partner is currently experiencing doubt and reward punishment regarding the afterlife does this mean the rest of the heretical cycle will continue what can someone do after these effects well the good news is that a person can show them that they're wrong by by showing them the truth and uh being patient with them and being persistent and eventually they'll you know they'll change they'll change they'll go back to uh they'll go back on the right way but if they refuse to change then yes it's the path gets worse all of the wicked people they get worse over time if you guys anyone has been watching me for long enough has seen the different uh Wars we've gone against different Heretics and so on and anyone that's followed the the Heretics that we fought against you'll see how they have gradually gotten worse they started with one thing they got worse they keep getting worse worse worse and they always that's how it is uh but it's unless a person gets better by doing chuva they get worse there's no there's no neutral what are the consequences of not following t a horrible life and a horrible end after this life do evil eye truly effect uh in the light of toah uh yes the evil eye is certainly something that exists uh how much it affects a person depends on the person depends on the person that's uh putting an evil eye there's different types of evil eye but it certainly is does exist yes is it considered if you're talking about a non-jew no there's no dean of L against non-jews that doesn't mean you should talk bad about no in the world today this spoke so many people that say that you just you've never lived in the world of Tora you've never gone to a you've never met serious like it's it's it's it's to make such statements just simply means you're you know it's not major Torah Scholars like uh the rambam that you need but rather to learn the laws of the rambam uh you know would do you would do you good just simply to to see what he says and understand it that's enough there's plenty of Torah Scholars out there does dis believing in any of the 13 principles of Faith make it forbidden for you to be in the world to come yes according to uh according to the 13 principles Faith are the fundamentals of Judaism uh and if a person does not believe in reward and punishment that they have no share of the world to come if they don't believe that God is one that all the sh world to come yeah these are 13 principles of faith that means that this is our found if a person does not believe them then they have is that they don't have a share of the world to come yeah uh I don't teach cabala publicly no or privately what does the Torah say about tattoos uh tattoos are forbidden for Jews to have uh to to get um but once a person made the mistake of getting a tattoo there's no obligation for them to remove it unless it's a tattoo of idolatry or or some form of uh insult uh blasphemy of you know or uh or something that's immorality that's shown to the public like for example if somebody has a tattoo of immodest woman on his face then they would have to remove that but if it's something that's uh uh you know on his chest where nobody sees it then there's no obligation to remove it the sin is getting the tattoo having it depends on a circumstance let's see okay I have an uncle that is really sweet person but he is following Christianity even though he was he's a Jew is he GNA go to Gom even though he's a good person uh he will 100% go to Gom and not come out because Christianity and following the New Testament is considered idolatry even more so for a Jew than it is for a non-jew uh there's a um very serious problem that your uncle has or anybody that's following Christianity has but especially if it's a Jew uh the fact that he's a nice person to you and he's a sweet person and so on is meaningless because like I said God is the one that created everything including the definition of good uh and when a person is violating the Torah and going after false god going after false teachings then they're not defined good even if they're particularly nice to you and they're generous with you and they smile at you and they even tell you jokes that does not make them good according to God good is defined by following the T following the mitv if your uncle does chuv and abandons idolatry starts following with t says then he can become good until then he's considered Wicked and uh if he dies this way he will not have a share of the world to come which means a whole lot more just type that word and you'll see a movie it's about an hour and a half or so on my uh site that's what happens when a person dies before they go to the G no or anything else simply when a person magnify the evil by 500 times on the positive side and that's not even the beginning of the good so for most people they don't really understand the concept of reward uh but we do understand the concept of punishment and a person does not understand that going against the toah is bad once they watch those films they get a better understanding they get a a better understanding I would also recommend watching the movie tunit because that's the uh film that discusses those same issues as well H you know as but has a specific focus on morality uh promiscuity modesty and you know wasting seed and so on so between those handful of uh uh films and lectures you can become an expert in the concept of uh reward and Punishment which is one of the foundations of Judaism which one of the foundations of of trth truth the understanding of reward and Punishment what is reward what is punishment and and how it's very very different than our own predisposition our own definition of what we think it is and what we want it to be and uh once you have that you'll have the right perspective the right ideology of how to you know move on in your life without that it's like a uh a blind person in darkness you're not going to know where to go why to go who to go to uh and uh it's it's it's going to be very difficult how long is a day that depends on your definition of day does this oh I read this already how does one do CH for unintentionally reciting the wrong uh first I would say add about 15 minutes of M to your life per day the more you have the the better you going to become at at everything as far as uh Torah is concerned uh and two learn the laws of why do Jews bow to a wall God forbids this we're not bowing to a wall we're not we're not praying to a wall the is there the uh it's not it's not the wall we also bow even if we pray in our own houses or our synagogues or even if we pray in the middle of the street has nothing to do with what's in front of us the site itself maybe if I remember correctly uh where he talks about it's right in the beginning over there in the where he talks about the different levels of Prophecy how the prophecy of mosu was different from everywhere else um so if you if you read you know what the r wrote about prophecy you'll also understand about uh you know Divine uh intervention in different ways but uhan also wrote about KES we've spoken about it several timeses and you know all types of uh what's called gim like like AEM uh you know makes himself um certain aspect of himself or something appear to a person certainly comes in different ways and different forms uh to different people uh throughout history and no two are alike but uh a person should not be deluded to think that they are a uh you know a prophet just because they hear voices many times Wicked people hear voices and uh that's because they've created so many sins they've made so many sins they've created they've given enough power to the demons that the demons have the permission to mess with them even worse so uh it's not it's not necess voices are not necessarily always a good thing if there's a book of idolatry in your house how do you get rid of it throw it out of garbage Rabbi do you match up your students together to get married uh sometimes I do help some people get uh um sometimes I do but uh I have a hard time doing it because people are too picky uh so I I don't have the patience for picky people um so I I don't I don't deal with this on a regular bases but I usually try to help some of my closer students if I see uh someone that say uh a match or whatever I'll uh I'll I'll send it to them but you know it's a once somebody shows me that they're very picky uh usually I uh I back off and I just let them do a whatever they need to do for themselves to find themselves a wife or a husband uh because um clearly it's um I'm not going to be the messenger for that could a shower benefit as a mik for men men according to the Ben just the rabbi said not necessarily from what the rabbi's wife does we don't learn from what the rabbi wife does we learn by what the rabbi say maybe how do you know that he could be the most righteous person in the world he could be he could be a serious person but his wife unfortunately uh you know he has a bad wife he has a wife that's uh you know that's tormenting him or perhaps his wife is a really really good woman but she struggles with her yet and not having you can't judge people just based on their appearance and certainly you can't judge based on their wife you have to judge each person based on who they are and what they are uh and even more than judging the rabbis a person uh has to judge thems first um but certainly not conclude that the rabbi is not a good Rabbi because his wife is not wearing a even though ideally that's what you know the rabis you know should be married to him and that's covering her hair but you know it's again nothing is always perfect there are some uh really serious that their wives are not exactly the most modest in the world uh much more than just not uh covering their hair does that make that the rabbi uh bad no you know for certain things perhaps I wouldn't have that Rabbi teach uh laws of modesty uh because everybody's going to think he's a hypocrite uh but could he teach daffi could he teach other things perh yeah sure again it's you can't just cancel everything because uh you know the person's not perfect it's not necessarily uh uh the right way to do things should a rabbi be married well I mean it's a person is going to learn Torah and uh if you know and he's eventually going to learn to have a SM to learn perhaps to teach and he may get to the point of teaching people uh with let's say in a local Sho or in his house or something like that when he's still young when he's uh 15 16 years old and uh you know he's teaching to that doesn't necessarily make him qualified to be a rabbi for an entire Community but he's certainly if he knows his to he could teach toah to people to his peers when he's still young before he's married but if you're talking about a rabbi that's leading a community like a congregation a synagogue a Yeshiva for sure he has to be married uh there's actually even uh specific teachings in the talmud and talking about how a scholar That's not married is uh you know has to be treated a certain way shouldn't be a teacher uh to to young kids uh because you know lest he fall with one of the mothers of the kids that come to pick up their kids there's all types of laws for for uh people that uh teach people that are rabbis uh but if if a person is just teaching to a small group of people or even a large group uh you know as a lecture it's not necessarily required for them to be married but if you're talking about actually guiding people guiding a congregation guiding people you know on their own marriage and things like that for sure you know you have to have uh you have to be married yourself it's not uh a person is not complete until he's married so so much so that said that uh whatever tah a person learns is considered worthless in comparison to the tah that he's going to learn once he's married the Torah that a person learns after they're married is worth much much more so uh should a r be married depends of your definition of Rabbi depends on what this Rabbi is doing what what should my 15-year-old what should my 15-year-old friend do if he wasted C he did CH and he can't say the he can't pay the $420 per meal he won't do it again fine I don't understand why people think they have to do the tun on day one the main thing as I've said this 50 times already the first thing is is with all Chua not just wasting seed all Chua is stop the sin don't do the sin again uh make sure that you stop the sin that's number one most important thing second thing is to have a fence meaning to learn enough about the topic uh that you're not going to uh fall in the invites Christian speakers to the sh to the synagogue should not be a rabbi and you should not go attend the shore and you should not learn from him that's considered heresy if you actually don't to arrange an event if there's going to be a certain amount of people there if there's going to be a certain amount of investment that people are going to invest into the event I'm not looking to get a money for myself but people will have to invest into these events and arrange them in order for it to be worth it um if not I'll just continue doing things online I don't have you know I'm not not missing uh uh you know work but uh for somebody wants me to travel further uh pretty much to the end of the world you want me to go to Australia it would have to be very substantial for me to do that uh but if somebody's want to do that then yeah sure why not I can tell you what I heard one uh Rabbi years ago somebody came um to Rabbi uh and um asked him if uh if he's if he's willing to come to France and uh he said uh yes uh if you know if if we have to prepare for it you know I'm willing to do it he goes and he said what what do we need to do in order to get you to come he says well how many Jews are in France and he says uh I think he said something like 600,000 and this was like in a live lecture and he said to him okay well it begins with 600,000 tapes being sent and distributed to all the people there meaning every person has to have meaning somebody has to sponsor 600,000 uh tapes or CDs or whatever it was uh and that was just the beginning and eventually they got them it was a big event got him to come to France and they did something uh you know huge over there uh but it was only possible because not just because the uh the rabbi wanted to come or the people wanted him to come but rather because people willing to invest the resources necessary to make it worth it I understand that there are some people that there are some rabbis and even really good rabbis that are willing to travel that are willing to go you know in many different places and I applaud them for it uh I'm just you know I'm just not that guy I'm I'm I'm not that healthy and I'm not that uh uh you know I have enough to do so if I'm going to go somewhere for an event it has to be you know it has to be event that I would consider Superior to me just simply doing an online lecture if I'm going to have the same amount of people watching whether I go or uh or or I'm or I'm there then why why why all the extra work you understand so that's uh so you know I'm happy to go I would like to go even though it's suffering for me it's it's difficult I'm willing to do it it just has to be worth it has to be worth it oh can you elucidate a little on physical distance what does that even mean I guess you wrote something before why be so relative I don't know what you're saying it's a continuous argument you're having with somebody seems like is it possible for me to see you in person uh when I have events when I have events which is not often anymore I used to have them every week but now I do it probably two or three times a year uh anyone that wants to come is welcome they're free for everyone to join as long as they're decent people and modest they're welcome to join and uh I don't know what my next event is going to be but should be sh soon I located in Florida I live in Florida is there anyone that can remove a debuk today it's possible it's possible um it's certainly nothing like the past but is there somebody that could do it I'd like to believe there is I I haven't seen it myself being done that doesn't mean anything there's a lot that I haven't seen but um is it possible you know there's a few there's a few that they say that they've done it you know I don't know I don't know is it possible it's possible certainly possible the teachings are there there's even teachings available for you for to make a Golem if you really want there's specific teachings of how to make a Golem you know the teachings are available it just doesn't it just doesn't mean that uh even if you have the instructions doesn't necessarily mean that people know all the things that are
