uh lecture uh yesterday when he spoke out against Manis fredman uh he uh you know we don't have the multi-million dollar budget uh and the false Fame that he does uh but what we have is and just like said to that was cursing the name of hem David came to him as a young kid and told him you know you have you know you have all of what you have you have whether it's the Shields and the swords and the uh the size and everything else and I have a I have the name of Hashem with me meaning I have a uh the same Hashem that you desecrated and that's in essence the war the war against the wicked is the understand that you have to understand that this is a part of this current reality that we live in but of course we can't change the world we could certainly help people that want to be helped but we can change what we can change is ourselves because sometimes a person um you know mainly due to lack of knowledge uh is going to have uh little Heretics within him or her uh that is allowing him or her to do things that are against logic against the Torah against their own personal interest but they're addicted to to it and one of the horrible things that could happen to a person is to become addicted to promiscuity uh when a person is uh you know is not aware of the magnitude of the damage that that short-term pleasure brings to him or her uh they uh literally uh by the time they find out many times it's too late it's too late because a lot of damage has already been done and although you're still alive and you can still do chuva and fix your Nish with whatever time you have left in this world uh there's still going to be some damage that uh you can't get rid of whether it's uh having a uh spouse that you don't want to be with or it's having uh you know wayward children or it's simply having other types of uh scars both spiritual and physical scars that uh come as a result of it and one of the things that the parasat tells us is that hates promiscuity in fact even before promiscuity he hates modesty as it says in chapter 23 uh verse number 15 andos over there uh elaborates on it and clarifies it and in essence he's he's telling us that is saying to us and there shall not be seen among you a matter of sin what is this a matter of sin a matter of immorality which also includes things that lead to immorality which is immodesty is nakedness there shall not be nakedness among you uh so when a woman walks around immodest where she's not covering herself properly she's not covering our arms she's not covering our legs and uh what else she's not covering this is something that's going to create a problem for her not just on that particular day but until she does chuva and the Unos elaborates and he says there shall not be seen among you a matter of sin and biggest uh loss that happens is their own loss because all of the blessings that aosh wants to give you are gone they're simply gone from you and they're put in some type of heavenly uh compartment because Hashem simply can't give them to you because he runs away from you he runs away and all the good that he wants to do for you is simply put away and then the Tor elaborates further of why withholds the blessings from a person that acts immodestly and that's because immodesty leads to immorality and therefore the Torah says in uh verse number 18 just a few verses later is here the Torah tells us a woman from among the daughters of isra shall not be uh promiscuous or they called a prostitute and A man among the sons of Israel shall not be a uh prostitute meaning promiscuous so here the Torah tells us that uh when a man is a with a woman that's not his wife and they're intimate that's considered immorality that's considered as if you are a prostitute uh in fact the uh mentions it in page 54b this is also referring to the lgbtq this is considered immorality this is considered promiscuity now when a when a person brings that type of uh uh uh decree upon themselves where they're desecrating the tah by acting in such a way not only are they bringing upon themselves a situation where their blessings and their uh good in life in this world and the next is withheld from them but they're also bringing upon themselves a dinar dinar means a Heavenly punishment that is the worst of the worst because it also means that part of that punishment is going to be in this world and part of the punishment will be in the next world where a person can die young before the age of uh of 60 some even say before the age of 50 uh or they could live a life where they see their own children die that thear says is the worst punishment that a person can get in this world to live a life where they actually see their children die uh imagine the the mothers and the fathers that are holding their kids with blood in their hands or all types of diseases having to visit the hospital for months and months at a time just to watch your kids die and uh needless to say this is also correct where they're cut off from a they have no share of the world to come so a person that you know is going to act immorally because he wants to have a girlfriend she wants to have a boyfriend this is something that is not only against the toah it's against your best interest and even if a person says yeah listen well I married uh the the girl but she just happens to be not Jewish a Jewish guy marrying a non-jewish woman Shalom or a Jewish woman marrying a uh non-jewish manom according to the Tora there is no such marriage meaning meaning your act every single time that you're together every single day that you are together it's considered an act of immorality even if the law of the land says that you are legally married according to it's an act of immorality it's an act of promiscuity it's as if you are a prostitute so this is the type of stuff that the average person out there doesn't really understand that they're doing to themselves and in fact one of the things that uh we see here is that there are multiple sins involved in it one of them being promiscuity and other of them is also where you know any Jewish woman that's not married is not allowed to go to the mikve and therefore anytime that she is with somebody else she is uh committing multiple s now to get a real understanding of the magnitude of this particular situation and really how it affects every single person even beautiful woman he's a Jew she's a non-jew he's from the Jewish Nation she's from the Gentile Nation but he sees her and she's absolutely beautiful and he wants to be with her so toat tells you that yes there is a possibility that this is going to happen and in fact you have to know how to deal with it before it does happen because the torat tells us that as long as the soldier desires are she's
