the is on its 18th anniversary starting
19 years was a pipe dream as I like to
say the most productive second Sor turas
had probably in the last few decades a
little difficult to comprehend how that
initial conversation in tvas then grew
into a meeting around the rubs table
that included a few more people we greed
25 committed people and we'll get it
done we went around the day later we had
it I look at the humble beginnings where
we started off yiva vetki for a short
taka after that we moved next door and
then eventually moving back to theiva
and vetki within a few months we went
from 25 to 50 and before we knew it we
were full in that sh with 100 Miss BM
tell the rebel of the time if I knew
what I was getting myself into I
probably would never have continued
those conversations we've watched it
grow into something amazing back in 2012
um we set out to buy ourselves a
building we were discussing big it's
going to be it's going to be this
tremendous Sho are we going to be able
to fill it up what are we going to be
able to do and culminating over here
with this beautiful vinion one may be
shocked at the heights that this Gilla
has reached I never would have been able
to predict this 10 years ago that you
know we'd be such a large Sho and
Flatbush just catering to you know
everyone in the community my wife pushed
me to come to calan AR Yakov while we
were still on the old Sho on East 18th
Street
and I just it clicked the amount of
daving the amount of learning the amount
of sh the children the Simas that come
through this building on on a daily
basis is not only a testament to the rub
and the Revit and what they've been able
to accomplish and really transform you
know this this little area K to what we
are today is a testament to the r and
everything he has all the and everything
he has put into this building to get to
where we are in 18 years is tremendous
you know Yash to the to the and the rits
in who work tirelessly to make sure
everybody here is comfortable and
everybody here is successful not every
show where you can walk in and find
first and foremost a RV that you can
immediately connect with the r and the
revon very very dedicated it's they make
this more than just a mckam filler it's
like an extended family the RV's uh
warmth is very appealing to uh a lot of
people and they're drawn to his
personality so if you have a v
with a V
roof it bounces off each other which
makes the atmosphere Gish the Rob and
the reiton they've been our leaders
they've grown with us throughout the
hard times the good times and honestly
they've been our Guiding Light my wife
was first going through her par whatever
he was able to do whether it was the
bone marrow Drive sending his daughter
over to come play with my kids helping
my kids with
yias they were always there for us I I
had some uh a medical issue with the
family and I remember the RV calling me
day and night making sure everything was
okay they had the true force behind the
Shool and then larger than that the
community the r is always available if
my wife needs something the riton is
always available the family has been
extremely inviting and makes us feel
extremely uh lucky to be in this Sho
people really appreciate the rough's
time the rough's presence the isum loves
the r speech there's a lot of back and
forth between the r and and and everyone
else in sh I say that I I enjoy Rabbi
bergman's shabas
Russia especially he's very energetic
he's uh very knowledgeable and uh the
topics that he picks uh out of this
world makes for an extremely good shab
stable
conversation I mean the Robin rabbitson
is unparallel I personally um had a
situation I'm a I'm a real estate
attorney and it was a transaction that
wasn't working out the way it should
have and the r gun involved free of
charge helped facilitate a peaceful end
to the transaction and be able to make
everyone walk out happy people are
totally amazed people day that he's able
to take things that are disputes for
years and years and settle them very
quickly I started uh ding at the Sho and
my uh children who were 6 years old 4
years old the love was there for the
children in a way that uh not often seen
everything around the Sho surrounded
around the children and and that was an
amazing thing to me the r is as
welcoming as can be my daughter sees
them in the streets and they wed each
other across the street children's rabby
used to give him a riddle uh of course
they would as a r there was a tremendous
CER tremendous relationship that made it
very very special that relationship
continued as the boys got a little older
the would have a once a month ever
shab but the AR get together the would
explain help the boys pick a little of
an es i' like to thank the and the r he
do for the sh for all the Care that the
gives from the she he did for the for us
back in the day on Shas afternoon and
all the special time he gives to us
miles love to the sh on their 18th year
anniversary 18 years of continued
success and growth inm theila would like
to wish a thank you to the R Robson for
all the hard work that they put into to
to into making it and
K share many more simp together 18 years
18 amazing years the Sho thank you
especially to the Rin Ritson for always
having time always taking our calls no
matter which country we're in um I've
been going to the Sho my entire life and
I really appreciate it I want to give a
thank you to the Rob the rabbitson for
all the hard work that they put into the
sh and every year just being there part
of the Sho I really appreciate it thank
you and mil mil to the Sho on this 18th
anniversary tremendous mil
and a tremendous thank you to the r and
the rabbits in for all that they do for
the sh and all the time they give to us
and hope the sh continues to
[Music]
grow it's not just the RV it's also the
Ritson as well when our daughter was
looking for an elementary school and
went to talk to the r he's like why
don't you come to my house my wife and I
came and we sat down the R's office with
the r and the Ritson and the Ritson
would sit there and give us the
information my daughters when DAV
upstairs they sit right behind the
rabbitson and they tell me every every
week when they're here like how they got
to see the rabbits and Dav and how they
were the rabbitson came over to them to
greet them to thank them for coming to
Sho we know that the rabbitson my
daughter-in-law who runs an impeccable
home runs a beautiful home is a great
mother has taken a very active role very
much involved in the Sho making sure
that things are done right the rabbitson
is very supportive of what Rabbi Bergman
uh does uh she's always been by his side
the rabbit sin doesn't shy away from
being Hands-On involved in making sure
that every detail is looked after my
wife is one of those women that do come
to sh eat shabas and she's joined by the
rabbitson and sometimes as her children
and she always Marvels about the repon
being there and being involved uh
upstairs on a weekly basis I I don't
think that people truly appreciate the
dedication that they have not just to
the SHO but to the community at large
this Sho is an extension of their home
the way they want perfection in their
home is the way they want the Shool
always pushing another sheer another
Kyle can we expand the library what are
we missing when I pass by command copy
on Avenue M and the rub is in there
making sure there's enough photo copies
but it really speaks volumes about the
dedication and commitment he has to the
Shool everything they've put into the
Shool to make it what it is to make us
that one big AK and family that we are
the sh and all thebalm are truly
indebted to you to both of you and words
just don't describe how much you mean to
each of us in our everyday
lives the means a lot to me I feel that
our is a community as life moved on
there were things that came up and he
was just there for me not so long ago my
wife got very very sick the Sho was
there for me the r was there for me the
rabbitson was there for us the Sho was
there for us helping me out and putting
me in touch with organizations to help
us the meal train that was started by
the Sho the rabbitson going to visit my
wife in the hospital all the time we're
more than just a Sho we're a family
family has your back the members of the
Sho have your back over here and the RO
has your back anytime you need something
They carried us through this very dark
time in our life there is a uh problem
that the missum know that exists with
any individual uh they will all band
together there's always somebody to
assist them with financially emotionally
the is always there for them uh before
PES there's a special fund to help any
whether it's in ailla or beyond the SCH
you know the R's leadership clearly
looks out for all aspects of his SP them
there are actually in many speeches if
you need you know an account
use an accountant in the Shool if you
need a lawyer use a lawyer in the Shool
you need a physical therapist use a
physical therapist in the Sho keep it as
a community as a family we've been very
successful like like that we are one big
family we're all together we're always
there for each other we will continue to
be there for each
other young here is the best old nunim
new nunim the guys here love it the the
women's section is packed yamam my wife
says she's never had such beautiful ding
in all her life as we've had the last 3
years of yum keer I have 200 people
behind me and they're all singing and
you felt the walls shaking with just
with everybody's TOS it was unbelievable
from other sh women from other shs who
don't normally D in here they want to
flock here and dve in here we have rash
Kipper over 150 nefas between upstairs
and downstairs it's just getting bigger
and bigger and bigger people really
enjoy the I stand up there at the ammed
and I get to look forward and see the ra
daving just see how much he enjoys it it
it's it's not you know this is not a job
to him this is this is his life from
very early on uh the r made a big
emphasis anything that could be that to
elevate the daving the r would go out of
his way to do the R is never shying away
from adding Tyra to adding and and and
making sure that we are a true Community
moing for everyone to enjoy every time
Sil and I walk into the sh we are amazed
we are thrilled by the T and the AAS
that's coming out of the sh which is
Second To None the biggest PL in flush
is right here at night it's rocking the
entire day there are things that take
place in the show literally from 5:15 in
the morning all the way through 11 12
sometimes even Beyond at night joining
the Sho has a revolutionized my life
I've been able to do the duff much more
easily than I used to whenever the The
Claw is looking for a she looking for
some new uh Tyra the r is always there
and the reiton as well reiton other the
women go through a she one gets the
sense that everyone's involved and
everyone has something to say the goal
for people to grow fell throughout the
sho from the from the front all the way
to the back back corner when we started
the learning program back I guess about
15 years ago the demographic of the Sho
was pretty young the kids were were
pretty young so we decided that we would
not limited to obvious abam it would be
obvious abundance as well and so we had
you know boys and girls of all ages
coming the OB but was really um a moment
where it created in the sh everybody
came everybody felt part of the kids
really felt part of
[Music]
it people can't comprehend what goes on
to you know in the back end of a SCH in
the kishkas and to just make the place
run so it starts with the RV but
obviously people like the president OB
susman the God by Yeshua teller are
people who put hours and hours you have
a for somebody like a Yakov Golding who
comes and takes care of the kitchen
staff and he's an assistant guy and he's
does so many things that people know and
don't know you have people like heshy
herps who sit there with the physical
stuff of the building you have David
King who's part of the management and
make sure this this smash is clean every
single day for us to come in G really
work very hard they do a colossal job
the bookkeeping entails basically Yeshua
teller um keeping track of everything
paying everybody it's hard to fully
capture the the value that Yeshua and
his wife raeli have brought to the Sho
over the last 18 years if if I played
word association with them I would call
them the Energizer bunnies there's no
job too big no job too small and
everything in
between even with the Sho growing and
becoming as large as it is now we still
managed to keep that small tightened
feel this Sho means the world to me what
better Sho can we get somewhere else you
come to Lauren you come to DAV everyone
gets to joke each other for a minute or
so
a and just a m of growth and I came into
the Sho and welcomed in from day one as
if I was part of this from from the
beginning the Sho Grew From 18 years ago
as a pipe dream
inas we grow exponentially more more
than we ever thought we would everyone's
happy and friendly they're excited to be
here camaraderie is incredible seeing
people from different experiences
different walks in life helping each
other you the r to have a safer for
every type of walk Lish he wants the sh
to be a place where anybody could come
at any time and feel like the Sho was
made for them we bond together the AAS
that's present in this Sho is
unparalleled it's just something special
that we really have and we're very lucky
to have the last 18 years of having here
have given me a sense of belonging not
just for me but for my wife and my
children
Tyra all encapsulated in one Sho they
don't make shs like this no matter what
anybody says the Sho is my community
it's my extended family it's my friends
it's my brothers is my
family without them I wouldn't know
where I would be just as we had these
last 18 years of growing going
tremendously together into the next
stages of our life give us and under the
leadership of and the Ritson to continue
going for another 18 and M many many
more years to come we're lucky to have
it we should never take it for granted
and we should continue we continue on in
the same path they've been doing this
for 18 years we give them a br that they
should see knas from all their children
and have uh no heartbreak at all in
their lifetime and we should be

ones in today's
parum the par starts by
saying and you should
take and it is
until that the par states that the
reason is because I want to build the
base of mdash on which I will
dwell many of the Bal muser ask that it
seems that this is ju supposed that
first it should say I want to build a
base of mdash and then it says should
say and here are the elements I need in
order to do so
theam says a beautiful ver and he says
that in all sincerity the did not need
us to build a base of
mikdash that if he wanted to build a
base of mdash he could have blinked his
eyes and there would have been a Bas
MDES so what did he want from
CLA he wanted there to be AAS in CLA
that they're working together towards a
single purpose and by putting together
the elements needed to do the Bas of
mikdash that's how they would do
that the
main
um place for there being actors in Claus
is in the B of Med and specifically the
says and his Remis for that is that
zahov is in Hay Bay when do we Lane we
Lane three times a week on shabas
