he says that he's always all the that we do each time he uh he starts it off he's the uh introduction as just like the salads before the he says you know some places the uh the salad is better than the the but says there's a difference between the how many salads you have some people have 18 different salads some people just have a living salad he says I'm he's going to be like the little one where it's just a quick little introduction and uh that's it he won't be he won't take uh won't tell us too much we could but one of the uh things that the Satan is doing that succeed successfully right in our generation uniquely is convincing people that they can't do convincing people that they simply can't do like you tell them okay you could learn something or do Elevate yourself spiritually in some way and a person is somehow convinced that they simply can't do it and this is a tragedy uh because obviously it's it stops people from moving forward so he said you tell the person listen why you going to fast tomorrow he tells you why why should I fast tomorrow who died that I have to fast why do I have to get punished said no no but if you fast you get $1,000 oh can I fast for two days all of a sudden you know once once they people see uh the uh the incentive of money or other things that they like all of a sudden they can do but initially the initial reaction is what what the point of Rob is trying to teach us is is the initial reaction that people have is no they can't do it initially he thought to himself I can't do he has all the different excuses of why he can't do it but as soon as he heard that there's money the uh the desire for money overcame the desire for food you know and that's in essence the the that the initial the convinced him that he can't to until he had some Ty of incentive one of the things that's happening now in especially in our generation and in our current times is that is bringing people to uh situations of destitute desperate situations where they really have no choice other than to deal with what they have at hand and they can't believe that they're able to overcome so many these different things that are in front of them if you would have told them that they could do uh you know this specific thing before this uh uh situation happened they would tell you absolutely not but uh once hasem puts them there in Ence throws them into the water if you will uh they find themselves successful successful in things they couldn't think of succeeding in in spirituality this is very common that people feel that they can't do certain things but we're also seeing it with the situation of the hostages you know these hostages that are being freed are telling the stories of their survival in this horrible conditions on of how they had to survive on the most horrific situations where they had to survive on a half a bowl of rice for you know 24 hours or longer where in their normal lives this was completely unacceptable in all of these difficult situations so much so that some of them even didn't have anything to eat at all uh and uh in one particular case a person said that he would survive by uh going to the bathroom and eating the toilet paper he would constantly tell him to go to you know let me go to the bathroom so he' go there pretend like he's going to the bathroom but take the toilet paper make it wet and then eat it and the uh the ultimate willpower that a person has is the will to live this is uh the the the most the strongest uh desire or willpower that a person has that's in essence what we see with these people the reason why they survive these horrific conditions uh is because they wanted to live so he says that if a person doesn't have any desire to live anymore that's a person that has gone crazy that has lost his mind so much so that many of the Pim say that a person that committed suicide you could even rely on a leniency to bury him in a Jewish cemetery even though traditionally you're not supposed to but you could uh rely on leny to actually do it anyway to bu him in a Jewish cemetery because certainly if he killed himself he was crazy beforehand uh which means in essence he lost the uh the uh desire to live and he's not ruled in the same fashion as someone that was normal desire to live is uh certainly the biggest motivator to somebody especially when they are threatened with death as what we saw this morning in the uh this tragedy that happened this morning the terrorist attack that happened this morning you see people that uh perhaps never even ran in their life and if ever it was many many years ago as soon as they heard the bullet shots as soon as they heard that the tragedy is happen happening you start seeing people running everywhere uh to save their life in uh in such a fashion where you clearly see the the the strongest desire that a person has a strongest willpower that a person has is the willpower to live and to that that high level of Desire willpower the sages compared it to the uh to learning Torah where a person the more Torah that he learns the more life he's actually going to have and this is also what we say in in when we pray uh this is uh this is our life in order for us to have a a long life in essence what is this is our life which referring to the Torah the more Torah we have in our life the more life we actually have so when somebody comes to tell somebody and try to encourage them uh to learn toah and they respond to you listen I uh you know I can't do it obviously there's something wrong here with their with their ideology how could you not do it if you treated it correctly which is that Torah learning is life meaning if you would have treated like it's life then obviously he always can because that's life if he says he can't that means he's not really understanding the Torah is life so but if you if somebody would have offered you $10,000 to do the same uh learning all of a sudden you can do it which means that you value the the the money much more than you value your life because again the Torah is your life it's just that people don't understand that or perhaps that there's there's a problem with you where you don't actually believe in oral Tor where the sages teach us in the oral Torah that the Torah is life and obviously this creates a new problem and for such such a ideology person would have no share of the world to come so when a person is told that you know keep Shabbat keep learn T go you know complete the sh learn the sh and he says he responds with I can't do it that means that he simply does not believe in the tah or he doesn't Believe In the words of the sages that that the Torah is actual life in so many words he's gotten to the point where he doesn't believe even in reward and Punishment the very basic Foundation of of the Tor so anyone that is looking for way to uh to you know better his situation protect himself protect his family from the horrific situation that surround us the terrorism and everything else they must understand that the only way is to increase T the more T you have the more life you're going to have the same thing goes for your family and otherwise and anyone that does the opposite meaning he ends up learning less tah then he's in essence cleaving himself to death and he's literally risking a his life every moment that he lives with that type of Lifestyle and just like's analogy at the end of where he says doesn't matter what reason you're taking out the fish out of the water as soon as you take the fish out of the water uh he starts dying and you're praiseworthy that you came to Shi T at this time especially a day that there was a traged a terrorist attack here today where people obviously reconsidering you know whether to come to G come to this type of area on the same that there was a terrorist attack because this shows clearly that you guys believe in more more life and he says you're praiseworthy you came to that's gonna be words of the Living God where the uh you know it's unlike other shim where you can go to some you know different people that you know teach t uh and you can listen to them for three hours but then you're looking for where is the actual words of the Living God where's you know where is the real Torah out of this three hours perhaps it's canceled one out of every 60 uh so he says here here every single word has to do with t and everything is words of the Living God he says this is the reason why he comes also to sh but unfortunately since the last sh he hasn't learned English yet he says he doesn't think that you guys probably want to hear him the translation the whole time so is blessing you will bless all of you
