i love for me on sundays because the
tour is beautiful the best part about
jeff is the hanukkah carnival it's
awesome because i get to see my friends
jeff can teach you a lot of things about
hebrew i like learning
and i like doing the brahas i like jack
because i like reading i like coming
here after me because i look forward to
learning new stuff i like jeff coming
the shout outs
was
to
give
people the next thing that they needed
to give people
a sense of belonging to give people
the connection that they needed
to help anybody out what they what they
needed at the time that they needed
is an organization that takes every
jewish person from no matter what age
what stage or what background they're at
and brings them to the next level
it's all true
torah learning which is something that's
unique in the
cure world
jet has
has a razon detroit that that's for real
that that that that makes a lot of sense
every sunday morning it amazes me how
these children become
bright-eyed and excited to be here and
especially their parents who go out of
the way and on their day off to first of
all drop them off and then only a couple
of hours later to come pick them up
again the tremendous dedication that
they have
is just amazing
it's been about three years since i've
um since i've been involved with the job
i feel it's kind of like a two-way
street like we become friends with them
and there's this feeling like we're you
know giving uh making a positive
contribution to the life of a family and
it's just a very like a good feeling it
feels very worthwhile
it's not an organization it's a family
everybody that is part of it they feel
like they really belong
the success of this program
is
evident because we have already today
second and even third generation
students in jail
my experience at the barbie louis school
was phenomenal
there's no question that the hebrew
school would not be as
amazing and vibrant and and just
mr primo really has
her finger on the pulse not only
anything on the puppet she's she is the
fault not to work
and
tremendous
that
to the to the hebrew school
is fascinating with her with all her
volunteers
this wasn't just the labor of one day or
one week or one year this has been 25
years
of real hard work i've been a part of
this hebrew school for about 13 years
and in those 13 years i'll admit in the
beginning i wasn't
too thrilled about waking up
every sunday very early
but throughout the course of my jewish
education jeff
does a great job
what was abraham
what was he given
it's fascinating to see
the current day jet
how much goes on both in the hebrew
school
and and the shire
tremendous
challenge that he has you know to
fulfill what
rabbi schwab did with jeff to to carry
it forth i have a lot of confidence that
he will be able to continue to grow
and continue to offer the community and
the jewish world at large an opportunity
for true torah learning and true growth
in yiddishkai at whatever level they're
seeking which is what jepp's history has
always been
i i i can only emulate
there's no way i could imitate or even
try to be who he was i though most i
could do is is instead of being in his
shadow is to really stand on his
shoulders and then to continue this
organization
i would like to thank rabbi shnow and
wishing him
in his
endeavor of taking over this
organization
and growing into something
that was a vision of my father and
continuing his legacy
