And you know, I think it's important that we have respectful disagreements with each other, even with our allies. And you know, sometimes our interests are aligned and sometimes they're not aligned. But you know what I really object to is when people will take honest disagreements on policy and they will mischaracterize that and reframe that as some kind of paid op or compromised position or some kind of mass manipulation technique in order to push some sort of hidden or secret agenda. That just gives fodder to some of the worst and most nefarious actors in our society who are really being dishonest. And I think we should be able to have respectful and civil disagreements, polite disagreements, uh, academic disagreements, intellectual disagreements without mischaracterizing those disagreements as some kind of manipulation, and that we don't just take at whole cloth or face value coverage from news media outlets that we otherwise would never trust. I think it's important that we don't take uh respectful disagreements and criticisms. um criticism that we encourage, by the way, and mischaracterize that as some kind of OP or mass manipulation influence campaign because that's just that's just not cool.
