Jackson 21: Expanding Community Campaign

My first weekend [music] in I come in I got approached by I think everyone in the shul. Welcome to the neighborhood. We're so happy to have you here. >> So what makes Kalis Khan such a special place and such a special community to be a part of that everybody is there [music] for each other. Our shul is an unbelievably warm place. The type of place where you come into shul whatever mood it is and you walk [music] out smiling. What makes Rottenberg really special and unique is his heart that he has that you could feel. You tell him something on a Tuesday, he'll see you much shabas. He'll ask you, "How was your week? How did that go?" >> I must say that I'm amazed by the midas and by the avoid that puts in to the learning and to the dining. Ash is not just a place to learn and davin. We have events. We make sudas together. Ashul offers [music] children of a savanum program to come and learn with the fathers. Every time I walk [music] into the sh there's always something going on. There's just feels like there's so much life there. When I joined, there was about 20 empty seats. And now in a matter of 6 months, 8 months, not only are we out of seats, but there's about 40 seat waiting lists right now. >> People come can't find a seat, stand on the steps in the back in the aisles. How can that be our place of [music] >> We've exploded and we don't have space anymore. And we're doing this campaign and we need to grow. It's not a luxury for us. It's a necessity.
