And
>> for me, this spot is very exciting
because I would say I don't know when is
the first vintage that you guys made.
Russian River Chardonnay.
>> Russian River Chardonnay started I
believe in 80. No, I think actually 88
or 89.
>> Oh wow. So, I remember the first ones
was maybe
>> in I don't know 1999 that I've had it
and I I really started enjoying
Chardonnay a little bit older than that
younger in in in
>> in vintages like 2001 2002 but I've
never understood and I never thought
that it has Russia river there's
actually a river a name you just thought
it was just a name the same as whatever
you call
>> kalis atlas peak or whatever all these
different names that we spoke about call
Maniskco, right? Um, so anything it was
just the name it was Russian rivers. No.
So the answer is the Russian River
actually does flow through here and
that's the separation. That's this is
area Russian River. It's already in the
summer. So the water is way lower. But
actually if you come I've always
threatened that I'm going to come
because during February when after rains
and there's a lot of actually they had
this property a few of the houses on the
property got flooded because the water
came up so high. So that's how high the
water and it's a real river. And in
February, this is actually season of
salmon. You could come here and fly fish
and catch some steelhead salmon, which
it's still on my bucket list to do.
>> Okay, I might come.
>> Please come with me. Then it might
actually happen. Um, so this is the
Russian River going through the
property. Like I said, three different
major AVAs joining this property.
Russian River, Alexander Valley, and
Chalk Hill.
>> Amazing, guys. Okay, I'm thirsty.
>> Let's go. Let's go. Let's drink some
chalk here.
