Israel Uncensored: Gaza Terrorists Tried to Ruin Youth Group Celebration

Josh hastened here Israel uncensored and the Land of Israel network at the Land of Israel calm it is Sunday the 8th of December 2019 the 10th of Kislev 5 7 8 o I'm here pre-recorded my show for Monday coming to you from Jerusalem to eternal capital of the Jewish people where it is it is pouring rain outside it is a beautiful thing to see them here staring outside the window near the old city of Jerusalem and it is raining it is a true blessing and it's supposed to rain most of this week after a very dry November and usually people leave the weather when people talk about news and what and what not the weather is usually the last thing that comes up if you watch the the old what is it the 10 o'clock news or whatever it is wherever you are in the world the 11 o'clock news but here weather comes first even before all the other stuff going on because it is such a blessing and a great and wonderful thing when it rains here in the Land of Israel we desperately need the rain and it as it relates to Israel in the Middle East and what not no guest on the show I think it's the third week in a row and that's really a kind of a change for me just to do news but so much happening so much happening that I want to try to get to as much as I can over the next 20 or 25 minutes or so on this land of Israel podcast bringing you the latest from everything going on here in the Land of Israel of course I'll add my thoughts on most of these issues last night Saturday night here in Israel the Rockets started raining down again on the southern part the southwestern part of the country thanks to Hamas and I saw a press release from one of the Hamas terrorists they're claiming that Israel was doing something on the Temple Mount I don't know restricting Muslim prayer all kinds of vague these are excuses when they come out with things like this this isn't the reason they decide to launch rockets these are the excuses they'll find any excuse possible any accusation against Israel let's launch a rocket so whatever it is and they hear it happened again last night reported by the Jewish press they were three rockets fired from Gaza of Israeli towns and cities the IDF actually talked about this on Twitter in response idea fighter jets and attack helicopters struck a number of Hamas terror targets in Gaza ceasefire right sounds a whole lot like a ceasefire fighter jets combat helicopters struck numerous targets targets here reported by the Jewish press including a Hamas military complex with warehouses offices outposts and military posts that belongs to the Hamas naval force in northern Gaza was also destroyed said the IDF on our side here three people physically injured racing to the bomb shelters including a ten-year-old girl others were treated for severe anxiety or shock as a result of the red alerts and the Rockets being launched at women and children and many children out last night all over Israel and especially in the national religious community it is a month of celebration for the bnei akiva youth group there are thousands and thousands of kids who participate in what is called bnei akiva it is a youth movement in Israel and last night is the culmination of a full month of activities for these kids okay but down in steriod things are a little bit different it's not a normal celebration when you are gathering in a gymnasium and all of a sudden the code red alert goes off and I saw images of that on social horrifying to have to see counselors draped over their campers if you will in the youth group there was an image a very moving image I saw and I believe on Twitter of a counselor shielding his kids students campers if you will from from potential potential rockets landing on their youth group celebration this was the scene last night in stay road and there were other images and videos that showed the kids in a panic not sure what to do inside it an auditorium I mean you have a gathering here of hundreds of kids and you only have 15 seconds I mean where are you going to go but despite all that despite that horror and terror another video emerged last night showing the mayor of steroidal on DVD and his staff in that same auditorium with the kids from the youth group for the bnei akiva croup dancing and celebrating after the Rockets were actually shot down all three of them were shot down by the Iron Dome singing a it's a well-known song here I would with the lyrics go something like the eternal nation so I got the Jewish nation is not afraid of a long journey and you can't beat us that fast you won't beat us that's a whole song which describes really the history of the Jewish people when we're down and out and kicked around as we have been now for thousands of years it's a long journey and we're not going anywhere the Romans aren't here anymore the Babylonians the Persian Empire the Greeks what have you none of these empires are here and they're still trying to destroy us our enemies on a daily basis we are here to stay folks we are still here even if it is unpleasant at times along the way and I know firsthand being under rocket attack is definitely unpleasant to put it very mildly speaking of terror TPS the tots feet News Agency says that an Arab woman was arrested Sunday morning in Hebron after she drew a knife and was planning on attacking Israelis security forces just outside the tomb of the patriarchs border police troops operating at the site arrested the woman who had pulled a knife no casualties in the incident and this happens on a regular basis and and heroine heparin and in other places in Judea and Samaria woman shows up or a man large knife and and thank God nobody was hurt in what could have been a terrible start to the week here in Israel have you seen switching gears here have you seen or war you at this event in Florida over the weekend the Israeli American Council the IAC in Hollywood hosting President Donald Trump II spoke last night Saturday night for around an hour to the very excited audience there down in South Florida I'm seeing images here of Sheldon Adelson his wife Miriam Adelson as part of the crowd here it was certainly entertaining I watched most of the speech here today very funny very entertaining and of course he a lot of critics who can't stand president Trump criticizing his speech even accusing him of being an anti-semite even though he's been the most pro-israel president from the United States ever or I would say one of the top if not the top foreign leaders in regard to his relationship of treatment of Israel in the history of the modern world honestly as reported here by the Jewish press president Donald Trump Saturday night told a raucous and adoring audience at the annual conference of the Israeli American Council in Hollywood Florida the Jewish state has never had a better friend in the White House than your president Donald J Trump and he's right there I would have to say Trump also lashed out at the majority of Jewish American voters and this is where they get upset who would not vote for him despite his record in support of Israel of course we're talking about recognizing the fact that communities in Judea and Samaria are not illegal under an intern national law moving the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem officially recognizing Israel's sovereignty over the Golan and it's not over yet folks there could be more positive wonderful announcements on the way let's hope they stay positive and then let's hope that the president keeps going down this path but he did lash out at Jewish Democrats saying that despite there being great people they don't love Israel enough that's what he said and I guess that comment probably drew the ire of many accusing them of not loving Israel enough and not supporting the candidates including the president who have done so much for the State of Israel I hear what the president's saying I see where he's coming from on that Trump also sharply criticized President Obama his predecessors saying that under the Obama Obama administration relations with Israel were quote undermined and neglected he said I don't think they liked Israel too much I'm sorry after eight years of which our alliance was undermined and neglected I'm happy to report the us-israeli relationship is stronger now than ever before so I say thank you president Trump again you know when you say something positive about Donald Trump you on social media you have like 10 people who automatically unfollow you or block you who knows what because people hate him that much even though his record on Israel is unparalleled in history of the United States no doubt so I say hats off to President Trump even though you know maybe he's not perfect and he he is not necessarily the most politically correct human being but the proof is in the pudding in terms of what he has accomplished and and we see it here in Jerusalem and appreciate it very much moving back to the local scene here this morning was the McCrory show newspaper annual conference Naftali Bennet our new defense minister oh I think he's doing a great job so far and hopefully a lot of the things that he says or has been saying over the last that what is it now two weeks or so will be translated into actions and you actually are actually seeing some action already he said that Israel will not allow were talking about Iran here Iran to build a noose around the country and Syria he says will become Israel Ron's rather Syria will become Iran's Vietnam if it continues to build up its forces north of Israel that's how I been threatened our Defense Minister addressing the McCorvey Shan annual conference Bennett noted that quote it is no secret that Iran is trying to establish a ring of fire around our country it is already based in Lebanon trying to establish itself in Syria Gaza and more here reported also by the Tot speed news agency to counter this threat Bennett said that israel needs to move from containment to the offensive we need to go on the offense folks and I agree with the defense minister here as well he said if we are determined we can take Iran's aggression forces out of Syria they have nothing to look for on the borders of the State of Israel we say to Iran Syria will become your Vietnam if we do not come out you will bleed this is tough talk because we will work tirelessly until you take the forces of aggression out of Syria regarding the constant rocket attack from Gaza on Israel's southern front he lamented that quote we have a custom our enemies that it is okay to fire it Israel we have to change the equation it takes time but our enemies will realize they cannot shoot at Jews anymore I like the fact that he says Jews okay he's a proud you himself and I'm glad that he said that there and now we are waiting to see the actions that he takes to back up all of now I'm not saying he hasn't done anything yet because he has okay but now we are gonna see hopefully some of the actions in which he talks about going on the offensive and I've always said you know when we have let's say like last night we had the Rockets fired at Israel and then Israel went and took out a bunch of Hamas terror sites obviously if within two three hours of their firing a rocket Israel responds and we know exactly what sites to hit obviously we knew where they were before so why wait until the Rockets are sitting there armed or the Rockets are being manufactured or the terror tunnels are being completed why wait until everything's ready to go I say take them out before go on the offensive and I hope that's what the the Defense Minister has in mind go on the offensive so the people in southern Israel have to keep running to the shelter's and youth group celebrations aren't aren't ruined because these kids have to run for their lives so let's let's see what happens with the future holds here also at the McCrory schon conference Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke as well he touched on upon many things here I'm not going to get to them I talked about the upcoming or potential upcoming election and he talked about the blue and white party and how they need to form a national unity government and prevent elections and I had not going to get into all that but I want to mention that the prime minister also said that it is time reporter here by Arutz Sheva Israel national news it's time to apply Israeli sovereignty in the Jordan Valley and to regulate all communities in Judea and Samaria that means to legalize more or less those in the blocks and those outside the blocks they will be part of the State of Israel so here we have more talk about annexation about applying Israeli sovereignty over communities in Judea and Samaria yalla as they say in ezra yella let's get it done already okay I don't know how much can be done here without a government without a functioning Knesset without a functioning Parliament but it is time already after so many years after 52 years to apply sovereignty over the Jordan Valley and gush etzion animal a new meme and also Itamar and beth-el and Sheila and Ailee and all of the beautiful places that are part of Israel's historic Bible Belt the heartland of the Land of Israel it is time to apply full sovereignty over all of those areas turning back to New York and the UN here nikki Haley big fan of nikki Haley of course former US and due to the UN she called out her neighbors to the north Canada saying that they made a deal with the devil I'll explain the Jerusalem Post reports the former US ambassador to the UN nikki Haley condemned Canada for voting in favor of an anti-israel General Assembly resolution claiming that in their actions the government government made a deal with the devil calling out Canada here Haley made the proclamation at the UN Watch gala in New York City on Thursday adding that Canada is quote trading its integrity for a seat on the Security Council by using the vote to damage the State of Israel this according was posted in the Jay post this according to the alga miner she said that two weeks ago Canada surprised Israel's friends by voting for a North Korean resolution that challenges the legitimacy of Israel this is a resolution that Canadian governments for years have voted against she described the monthly UN Security Council meetings as a monthly Israel bashing session she said explaining that the group consists of a culture of bullies who failed to live up to its expected character she went on to talk about how the UN essentially ignores Iran in Syria and Hezbollah Hamas Isis the famine and Yemen all these other things whereas she said that these are they're about she said they're about 10 major problems facing the Middle East and Israel doesn't have anything to do with any of them but time and time again of course we know that Israel is the focus if you build a pergola and Judea and Samaria the world goes crazy but I saw some startling a horrible video footage from a Syrian military strike against a market look like a civilian farmers market of some kind and that I mean have you seen anything in the news about UN condemnation or resolutions or emergency Security Council meetings or the UN Human Rights Commission anything going on there I don't think so only when it comes to building in Judea and Samaria and Israel in general condemning Israel that is a big passion out of all of those UN bodies and thank you Nikki hailey for calling them out Miss Iraq Sara or Sara Adan remember Missy Rock sorry Don she essentially was thrown out of her country for taking a picture with former Miss Israel in the 2017 Miss Universe beauty pageant in Las Vegas she had to flee Iraq and as a result she has now opened up on the persecution carried out in her country and in other places in the Middle East and now she is actually discussing here everything that happened to Jews specifically Iraqi born Jews along with the 800,000 get this 800,000 if you're not aware Jews expelled from the entire Middle East upon the establishment of the State of Israel 800,000 she was thrown out of their countries didn't get it didn't get a penny okay got thrown out didn't have a UN refugee agency created to take care of them not at all so Missy Rock here Sarah Adan in today's Jerusalem Post I know she actually yeah she had her citizenship revoked because of that that photo attended an event held at Israel's UN mission to mark the expulsion of Jews from North Africa and the Middle East following establishing the state and this is just the latest instance in which she Don who has become an unofficial goodwill ambassador for Israel this is her publicly showing her support and she came to Israel last year and talked about how she felt a strong bond with the Iraqi born Jews and Israel saying that she felt connected to them the Jews that she melt met in Jerusalem born in Iraq who welcomed her with open arms of so much love even though that my country has an Iraq treated them unfairly I was overwhelmed when I saw pictures of Iraqi government stamps on their passports saying one-way exit again referring to 1948 not allowed to return I told him I was utterly ashamed here is a voice of reason I would say even stronger of justice and siding with the right side of history this maroc Sarah Eden for speaking for what is good and what is just and what is right and openly acknowledging the fact that her country which took away her citizenship has done some bad things to the Jews over the years so I want to thank her for her support of Jews for the Middle East Sparta Jews from the Middle East and North Africa who had to flee 800,000 who had to flee were thrown out of their countries following the establishment of the State of Israel and as always liking to end I'd like to have the show with some positive news here is Israel here are two stories of Israel and Israeli contributions to the world community and many of them we do not get acknowledgment or credit for certainly not at the UN and certainly not in many in many European Union countries and with all the haters out there you just got to go to Twitter you can see all the Israel and Jew hater is out there despite the fact that they're probably using a and Israeli made computer chip in their laptops as they tweet the hate of Israel and you talk about the hypocrisy there but here Brian Blum and Israel 21 see reports that an Israeli algorithm has been created which aids safe landing if a plane engine fails the Technion Israel Institute of Technology developed software which monitors a plane's trajectory and guides it to the best alternative landing strip so this is amazing technology coming out of Israel who knows one day please God we'll be in passenger planes now they're testing it on these smaller aircrafts and whatnot and in drones but who knows one day and they're talking about situation that you had there with the plane landing in the Hudson in the US Airways flight captain Sully and all that whole story and and how this Israeli technology this algorithm could help in a situation like that I mean that was that was a miracle there and who knows one day maybe this this technology will be utilized in commercial jets god forbid if there should be some sort of engine failure and this certainly could save lives and one other story here talking about saving lives the World Health Organization here reported by The Jerusalem Post is calling the are called rather the Sheba Medical Center for emergency assistance in regard to a measles outbreak in the South Pacific island of Samoa so who did the the WH o call Israel the Sheba Medical Center for disaster medicine and humanitarian response who are now on their way these medical experts according to the Jay post are on their way to the island South Pacific island of Samoa seventy people including children pregnant women have already died as a result of this measles outbreak and who do they call to come in and help but the medical teams here in Israel who are on their way now to Samoa they will be on the tiling tiny island it says here for two weeks to help contain the crisis so who are you going to call not ghostbusters you're gonna call Israel when there is a crisis in your country whether whether it's a medical crisis or a hurricane or a tornado or a tsunami and we have these stories time and time again I remember of course a Haiti Israel came in after that earthquake and save lives the first field hospital out there saving lives came all the way around the world and this happens time and time again whether it's Israel aid Israel a door rescuers without borders or some of these other organizations who go around the world in this case Sheba to save lives that's what we do here folks there are light onto the nation's that is our purpose and we are fulfilling that here in Israel each and every day it's unbelievable come join us
