[Music]
Shalom everybody and welcome to Israel
inspired on the Land of Israel Network
this is Jeremy compiled here with Rabbi
Arya Bram Watts broadcasting from the
most beautiful majestic mountains in the
hills of Judea overlooking the Dead Sea
it's magical today and if you hear some
tractors in the background it's because
that's what we're doing we're building
up the Land of Israel and making this
Garden of Eden like Oasis at the edge of
the desert it's like a dream come true
that's what I feel like I feel like I'm
living in a dream while building the
dream at the same time re how are you
I'm doing well there is that element of
living in a dream and building the dream
but then there are these periodic bolts
of lightning that come to wake us up and
say however incredible this dream is and
however crucial this mission is
strategically for Israel spiritually for
the Jewish people for the Land of Israel
then we get blindsided by the Supreme
Court you know and and these challenges
being thrown at us we just went to meet
with our lawyers which is such an
unpleasant thing to have to do and we
see this massive file against us that is
submitted to us you're giving me it look
like you you don't like it when we talk
about this thing so much no I don't
think I contradicts being in a dream
meaning we're inside a dream and we're
building the dream and this is a part of
the dream meaning we are at the front
lines settling the Land of Israel that's
trending Israel tour biblical borders if
you don't think we're going to meet
resistance along the way and everyone
that has supported us that's come out
and visited here they know exactly what
we're up against we're up against the
former Obama administration the State
Department the European Union the United
Nations and these Israeli quote-unquote
left-wing organizations that are funded
by the European Union and so where did
that file appear from who paid for that
it's called Europe and so we're
literally taking on the world
single-handedly but yes after meeting
with our lawyers they have no real case
against us at all and I think that we're
going to wipe the floor with they don't
leave out even trying they don't have a
case against us I believe they know that
they don't have a case against us but
the point is they don't need to have a
case against us they simply need to
bring a lawsuit against
that is just a thick booklet again so we
were sifting through it how many of the
pages that rabbis for human rights these
crazy Jews as some should bless them
that that are coming and trying to pull
Jews out of Judea wherever they're and
they're just hoping that if they bring
enough against us and file against us
that the due diligence the investigation
the magnifying glass of the Supreme
Court will yield something and of course
everything you said is true but like
just a moment of like humanity here of
course living in a part of the dream
part of the dream are you saying you
walk around perpetually with that
awareness or do you have some moments
that are like oh my god this is a lot no
that's true obviously like a-- they're
moments of of just getting lost and
changing diapers you know I mean there's
moments of just living life but when I
just have not even much of a presence of
mind I just need to step outside and
then once I'm outside it's like wow
we're here this is what we're doing this
is what we're building I mean one of
like the mantras that I always return to
in my life is remember above all else as
you build your life build it as though
it were a work of art and I'm just
outside here man and it's a work of art
it is so like yeah it's not always an
easy work of art moving here was the
hardest thing that I've ever done but
yeah with all the challenges and the
stripes I think for the most time at
least at this you know this week it's
been a dreamy week for me you know we're
like it's annoying that they take us
away from learning Torah from making
music from writing from doing these
podcasts we have to go meet with lawyers
and spend time and resources fighting
these left we don't have we're just a
few guys we don't have you know the EU
and UN and NGOs behind us it's literally
God is sending us angels individual
people to come here and give of
themselves to this place and that's what
it's keeping us going literally day by
day
that's what's keeping us going but I'll
tell you I'm editing your book right now
the perfect Jewish Judean way to start
your day the ancient Judean ancient
Tuesday's way to start your day and and
it's good thank you and it's good and I
I woke up very early this morning and I
went out on a hike with my wife Shana
that's cool that's right we haven't done
that
so I want to say years but we haven't
even been married for a year but we've
been talking about doing it and it was
so serene and so beautiful and such a
gift and I'm walking thinking well I'm
like living here I'm not really taking
full advantage of the beauty of this
place you know and also like with my
wife Shana she comes back late she's
tired we're tired and to be able to like
really like sanctify a moment there a
portion of the morning and going to walk
together through the fields it was
really a blessing to me my mornings have
just become the best part of my day
after the morning like let's say once
the kids wake up once you got to go out
to work then the day is just the day but
if you're able to really just follow the
path of the prophets and just wake up
earlier than everyone else and then take
that time it's the best time in the day
when I miss it and I miss it often
because sometimes my kids will keep me
up all night and who knows what happens
the night before when I miss it I
literally feel like I've missed the
heart of my day I've missed the best
part of my day and then it kind of gives
me motivation to get up the next day but
yeah I mean I think about them the music
video that we put out it was like a
month ago has now over 20,000 views and
that really excites me because you know
the music is really prayer and we've
triggered 20,000 prayers in Hebrew
around the world that's just awesome in
the book I'm gonna send it out to the
hundreds of people that have already
pre-ordered it thank you so much for
helping with structuring it and re
editing it and I've given it to a few
people and it's people say that it's
really it's really like helping them
inspiring them guiding them brush em
yeah yeah and I'm honored to take real
full credit for everything in the book
but you know what let's let's talk about
that for a second you know this when I
see what's playing out in the world and
it seems like there's you know events
are happening but events are happening
through people and it's not like you
know external events of a nuclear like
people populations are taking shifts in
direction that are strange what's
happening what I mean is that the
elections here in Israel we're gonna
talk about that soon I want to I want to
get into that but it seems like there's
surprises and shifts and a lot
the way we used to look at it where
there's a left and a right and a center
and all the parties sort of conform to
that now there's like a nuanced right
wing that split off that sort of secular
right and there's a religious right and
then there's Moshe Feiglin that's quite
a surprise of the election we should
talk about that but like you know a lot
of the walls are coming down and when I
look at America and you know Donald
Trump is so vilified in the media and in
the whole country that it seems like the
leftist Democrats in America would be so
wise to just be normal to just not do
anything crazy to come up with some
normal moderate Democrat and that he
would crush Trump crushed Ron but
they're so crazy and they can't help
themselves and they're really shifting
in a vicious leftist socialist
anti-semitic intersectional victimhood
way that's it's it's it's wild American
Jews are going through a real crisis
about that as well
I feel really bad for the secular
American Jews that identify more with
the Democratic Party than they do with
their own Judaism and now the Democratic
Party which raises more than 50% of its
money comes from Jews and these Jews are
like what have we done who do we belong
where is our home what is going on as
the Democratic Party is like revealing
its cards it's not just anti-israel
it is anti-jewish right well so we could
talk about the Democratic Party but I
think on this show with poram coming up
we should try to look at the whole thing
with poram eyes right like to dig a
little bit deeper to pierce through the
veil of of you know duality and multiply
chemic rat ik party and see things a
much more at their ideological spiritual
emotional roots because it seems like
the Megillah is playing out right now
and we just have to have the eyes to see
it how perfect the timing is that all of
this is happening now
and how very clear the correlation is
between the events of the Megillah and
and what we see playing out in America I
know I'm not going to do justice to the
whole thing but but I mean of course the
epicenter of this is all from Ilhan Omar
right this is this Somali Muslim woman
that is very out of the closet
about her hatred not just for Israel but
for Jews right she's calling it the same
thing that Haman went to a hush hush and
said there's this a nation that is not
loyal to your laws and that doesn't obey
doesn't identify with as your innate
there they're a sec a second what's it
called
fifth column fifth column right they
have dual loyalty and this is what Ilhan
Omar is coming out and saying that
American Jews have dual loyalty they're
paying off lawmakers to support Israel
hear my thoughts just about Ilan Omar
really quick that if someone would have
just ignored her then it would have just
kind of blown over but the she's become
the most well known congresswoman in the
United States at this point she's become
so powerful now and now this powerful
woman is just spewing Jew hatred and I
don't want to use the word anti-semitism
anymore if I never hear that word again
I would be a happy man let's just call
it hating Jews Jew hatred let's just say
that from now on that's exactly the case
I don't know if you saw Robert Kraft I
don't want to talk about that whole
gross sort of old man scandal that he
had but but the hem in Roman Abramovich
right this a billionaire Russian
oligarch who owns I think the Chelsea
football team
he's today the richest man in Israel
anyways him and Kraft who owned the
Patriots are organizing a game of their
two teams to play each other and the
theme of it is fight against
anti-semitism no more - anti-semitism
say no to anti-semitism and it's like
saying no - so first of all I agree with
you the anti-semitism it's like it just
sounds do we be and dorky do people even
know what that word means anymore like a
Millennials that are growing today so
overused just say what it is you're in
it's Jew hatred but this idea of these
two overwhelmingly wealthy oligarch old
Jewish men with billions of dollars are
coming together and saying say no to
anti-semitism first of all there's the
principle whatever you resist persists
you resist against it and if the
spotlight is on it attention
give into it and it strengthens it you
have to be fighting for something not
against something but American Jews are
so confused I don't know what they're
fighting for so they're just fighting
against anti-semitism which what does
that mean you're fighting against people
who are against Israel and against
people who are against Jews like against
someone that's again you're fighting
against something that's against just be
inspiring be a light what are you
fighting for what is the mission for
plus it's not exactly like dispelling
stereotypes that these hugely wealthy
Jews are trying to manipulate and coerce
people to not hate Jews as if that's
gonna wear I mean it's just so obviously
a bad move full of projection and
lacking a general respect you know for
the human condition that's for sure here
are my thoughts in just a nutshell on
the Jew hatred that is happening all
around the world I mean in Europe forget
about it what is the future of the Jews
in Europe and now we see that really
like the left-wing in America is the
driving force behind America and I know
that that's gonna upset all of our you
know Bible believing Republican
listeners in America but that's just
tough tamales if it's women's issues gay
issues transgender issues what was 30
years ago their agenda has become the
mainstream political correctness of
today and that's just the way it's
probably going to play out in the future
I don't really see a reason why it would
change but what's happening of the Jew
hatred in America is that Jews comprised
2% of the population in the United
States and 58 percent of religious hate
crimes in the United States are directed
towards Jews so more than half of the
hate crimes are directed towards a
population that's less than 2% the stat
that I last saw was from 2016 to 2017
the increase was 37% so now we're
looking at not only huge numbers but a
trajectory the Jew hatred in the United
States is going up and up and up and
it's becoming now the new mainstream in
the United States in fact you know the
congresswoman that is the most annoying
person on the planet she
an acronym for her AOC so her response
to Elan Omar's anti-semitic jew-hating
statements were anyone that's against
that is an islamaphobe so now anyone
that's a Muslim can just just spew anti
Jew hatred hatred of the Jew because
that's just a part of the Islamic
religion according to so if there's no
what can we do now it's like hi ear
Shushan Avoca there's just like we're
just like the the irony though is that
they this was there was such an uproar
that they passed a resolution the
technocratic party this is what's called
ben shapiro calls a gaslighting right
where you like are tormenting the
torment ii and saying that they're the
Tormentor that they passed this
resolution because of the Ilhan omar
thing against prejudice and bigotry
against blacks and gays and transgenders
and muslims and pacific islanders
and jews so throwing jews like at the
very end there and it just to throw it
in for good measure and ellen omar comes
out and says this is a big victory
because there's the first time that an
anti Islamophobic law is passed so she's
anti-semitic she hates Jews and there's
a resolution passed in order to stand
against this bigotry and she's making it
about a better it's actually it's
quite as really an anthem shouter II
would say it's rich but it's also
painful about and I think for these Jews
is that as you said by far the most
persecuted people in America today are
Jews and this intersectional group which
by the way the whole idea of
intersectionality I find too boring to
handle that there's no such thing as
ideas or personality or it's all about
what group you fall into and where that
group falls in on the hierarchy of
victimhood right so the Jews don't apply
they don't they're not welcome in the
group of victims in the Democratic Party
which is ironic because they're actually
the only real victims in America today
the most persecuted people by far are
the Jews as you said but they're not
included in this
hierarchy of victimhood and you see
these Jews going through really a crisis
of identity because think about without
doing the whole German thing more Jews
died for the fatherland for Germany in
World War one than all of the Wars of
Israel combined you can understand why
the Jews in Germany were like we are the
most patriotic that's how the Jews of
America are the Democratic Party are I
know we have been for thirty years not
one Republican has succeeded in getting
over a third of Jewish votes that's how
long Jews have been card-carrying
identifying Democrats most of them would
put Democrat over their own identity as
Jews and now it's coming to bite them in
the toughest we had a woman on our show
Susan Silverman right she was in women
of the wall she's currently in women of
the wall super liberal super democratic
her sister is Sarah Silverman who was
like a huge Democratic activist and she
posted something on Facebook and it just
said it well and I feel like she was
able to actually be courageous enough
and honest enough to write this
partially I think because she lives here
in Israel so she has a little bit of
room to stand back and look at it I
think most American Jews are just too
terrified to their core about what's
happening to be honest about it so they
end up doing what Nancy Pelosi did and
saying oh Ilhan Omar she's a good woman
I don't think she understood the way
that this would sound the way it would
come off she's covering for her it's
it's unfortunate that there's not a
greater amount of communication and
education in which she's able to more
accurately express her feelings because
if she could then you'd see that she's
not a Jew hater like you know the
Democrat Bernie Sanders is defending
Ilyn Omar I don't I don't think that
that the congresswoman is perhaps
appreciated the court date of how is
heard by other people although I don't
believe it was intended and an
anti-semitic way we're working on
something it was one resolution but
addressing these these forms of hatred
not mentioned her name because it's not
about
it's about ancient you know of course
there was in Nazi Germany there's a huge
party of Jews that were just supporting
Hitler and the Nazi Party somehow
believing that all of their is their
support even when it comes to condemning
Israel the Jews will jump on board yeah
we're Americans first we're gonna
condemn Israel the Jews of the
Democratic Party condemn Israel and now
nobody is coming to their aid nobody is
standing with them in their entire party
so Susan Silverman wrote this sure it
won American Jews for the vast part
share the values of the Democratic Party
I think I represent many liberal Jews
when I say we see sparks of not
welcoming us there right that's already
pretty on we do not have a home in the
Republican Party as we do not share
their values I can imagine you as Jews
being homeless in their home I'm not a
paranoid person and I'm willing to take
risks for the greater good but this
feels like one of those moments that has
to be taken seriously on behalf of us
Jews right this is like a Democrat
activist liberal all the way through and
she's saying who are we what do we have
left there was one congressman that
stood up against this Democratic
congressman at least I mean there was a
Megan McCain on the view I heard her and
she she came out she was super she was
getting emotional she was crying and
she's like this needs to be taken
seriously I may not be a Jew because
nowadays you can't say anything about
anything unless you are that person
she's like I may not be a Jew or have
Jewish family to know how terrible what
I'm seeing happening here is but the
Democratic Party know that one guy I
heard that stood up I've got the clip
let's play that here it's not political
no one should make it political the use
of anti-semitic language and images can
never be tolerated what's been so
difficult for so many people in my
community is that people who are fearful
when anti-semitic tropes are used are
being told that they're wrong when a
colleague invokes classic anti-semitic
lies three times then this body must
condemn that anti-semitism anti-semitism
is worthy of being taken seriously on
its own it's worthy of being singularly
called out
words matter for generations they have
had dangerous consequences for me for my
family and for my people this shouldn't
be so hard and that's where it comes
back to the Megillah right we see this
happening the accusations are being
leveled and when these accusations were
leveled against the Jewish people by
Haman Taha gibberish and this law this
legislative law condemning the entire
Jewish population everyone from children
to adult everyone to genocide came out
it says says that the Jews of Shushan
were navaja
we've spoken about this in the past but
it just applies right now to this moment
in time so perfectly what does neva ha
mean consternated confused disoriented I
mean do you think they'd be like
Holocaust is coming oh my god screaming
terror fear they were just confused how
is this possible we are the most weird
we are the most loyal patriotic Persians
that there are wait before I go on
Jeremy at the shaba tone Friday night
you gave a speech that was just so good
and how do I know it's so good because I
have a DD it's hard for me to focus on
thing when you speak I'm able to focus
from the beginning to the end which is
weird because you think I'd be over
identifying with you as your partner is
he doing well as you know I'm just
listening to what you're saying from the
beginning to the end and there was
something you said there because my my
grasp of Jewish history I think is
pretty good but there are some spots
there that I have a mental block against
that I don't fully wrap my mind around
and one thing you mentioned in your
speech about Ezra that was really
interesting is that and I want to ask
you if you're sure about this
I imagine you are cuz you really know is
that there were Jews the the decree I'm
exposing my ignorance here but that's
okay everybody knows it the decree of
the genocide happened after already the
return of Ezra and Nephi Mia to Israel
to rebuild the second temple right this
is so this is this is the way it
happened Cyrus which was well before the
story of
for him made a declaration allowing the
Jewish people to return to the Land of
Israel and the Jews not many of them
40,000 or so picked up and left and
started coming back to to Jerusalem and
they started actually building Jerusalem
and laid the cornerstone and the
foundations of the temple and at this
time they're struggling through a lot of
hardships economic hardships the locals
that were there we're giving them
problems and as they're struggling
through all of this at that time there's
a whole Jewish reality in Persia and
Ahava Roche is celebrating his big feast
that starts off the Purim sudha and the
Midrash says that he's actually bringing
out the vessels from the temple and the
Jews are now with Ahava Rosh celebrating
this big party in his palace with the
vessels of the temple as Ahava Roche has
called for a building freeze in
Jerusalem the Jews have returned to
Israel they started building it up and
there's this whole other reality of Jews
outside of Israel at you know in at the
white house that are celebrating with
that administration siding against
Israel saying yes call for a building
freeze we don't even care bring out the
vessels of the temple
let's eat with that because we're not
we're not loyal to Israel we're loyal to
a Koosh parish in his party and that is
exactly what's happening to the Jewish
Democrats right now that they have
always sided with the Democratic Party
against Israel and now they're at the
white house lawn
celebrating without Xavier ocean out of
nowhere oh my goodness Ilan Omar or this
ha maan like character rises up and
starts spewing Jew hatred and so now
they're like oh my goodness but we were
with we're know but we're Democrats but
we we've cited with you against our
homeland and against our people in
Israel and now they're like well what do
we do now and that is the definition of
navaja and I think that's what we're
experiencing literally before our eyes
words that were written thousands of
years ago yeah and you know it's funny I
periodically watch like watching you
know clips from the left from liberals
just to understand the way they think
and one of the
so at least like the most is this guy
Bill Maher I sent you this clip dude I
didn't watch it yet I'm sorry so so he's
talking about all of these people that
are saying that Trump is like Cyrus
Trump is like Cyrus Trump is and then
he's laughing at that he's mocking not
only that he's mocking Christianity he's
mocking people that believe in God the
whole thing is that you know he made
this documentary called Religulous or
something in which he just mocking
everybody and it's interesting the way
he mocked Jews as opposed to all other
things seemed to be very nuanced you
know about like our lamps and stuff that
we can use on Shabbat because it creates
a circuit that was the only thing like
he really came against Jews about which
was everyone he came against like
fundamental things about their faith but
but one thing he was he was saying you
know he's like Cyrus they're comparing
him to Cyrus in the Bible Cyrus wasn't a
vessel for Friday this is what he said
Cyrus is the ancient king of Persia who
conquered Babylon where the Jews were
living in captivity this is before Miami
[Laughter]
now Cyrus didn't do it for the Jews he
did it for Persia his country but it had
the happy side effect of allowing the
Jews to return home to Israel so Cyrus
you see is an unwitting conduit a a
vessel for God's will except Trump is it
a vessel for God's will
he's a vessel for fried chicken and you
know I think that's exactly the point of
Purim the point of Purim is to recognize
that everybody in everything near life
is a vessel through which Hashem is
communicating it to us through everyone
in everything that's the big that's the
big paradigm shift right our sages say
that Haman seal was able to accomplish
what the prophets of Israel were not
that the prophets were saying to the
Jewish people high school your miaoyi
Chou the prophets were saying repent
repent return to Hashem return to Shem
and they weren't doing it and then Hans
seal Hmong's decree is it what's able to
actually bring people to repent
meaning that Hashem is communicating
with us through what directly through
our prophets or our sages and also
through the nations of Israel who was
stirring their spirits to turn against
Israel like this now to turn against the
Jewish people the masks are falling off
right now in Jewish history and what is
causing that what is moving their hearts
it's that Hashem is communicating with
us through people right so the Midrash
tells us that in the Megillah every
mention of the name hemella a hush-hush
the King Ahaz rosh refers to a hush-hush
but every time the Megillah says only
the word mela it's a double meaning it
refers to hush-hush but it also refers
to a Shem so every time we see a hutch
Roshan in in the Megillah in our lives
it's our job to see right through him
and to know that he has no independent
power or agency that we're seeing and
dealing with Hashem himself you know
ruff Sutton wrote this book poor him
light everybody has to read it he brings
a lot of these ideas here but what is
the ROM bond stay we're getting a little
bit sore see here but this is the right
thing Rambam says the mitzvah of a coot
of cleaving to Shem involves constantly
remembering his love and not allowing
your thoughts to be distracted from him
not when you walk on the wane or when
you lie down to sleep nor when you rise
up to the extent that even when you
speak with people or engage in mundane
conversations your heart is not with
them only rather you're standing before
Hashem attaining such a level the ROM
bond says is what's called to be bound
up in the bundle of life that schroer
Hawaii where you become a dwelling place
for the sheena in the world right that's
that's what the the ROM bond is telling
us that's also what Heschel writes we
one of my favorite quotes from heschel
he says a religious man is a person who
holds God and man and one thought at one
time at all times who suffers harm done
to others whose greatest passion is
compassion whose greatest strength is
love and defiance of despair and you're
only able to have that that faith and
that love and that compassion when you
recognize and internalize from your head
to your heart that Hashem is behind
everyone and everything so they don't
have their own a dependent agency so
they're not a threat they're not a
threat one of the best examples of the
stance stands out on the Tanakh was the
Chad dubs look right after what you
quoted Jeremy from Ezra right this is
from the book of Nahum eeeh so I'm gonna
skip through the first couple of sooo
keen but chapter two one through five
and this is where Nehemia is in front of
the king and his he's downtrodden he's
feeling sad the king says to him why are
you so sad are you sick and i me said
this is nothing but the sorrow of my
heart and then the king says well then
there's got to be evil in your heart if
you if there's sorrow in your heart and
he said and I said to the king let the
king live forever why should my
countenance not be be sad when the city
the place of my father's lies in waste
and ruins and consumed with fire then
the king said to me what's your request
so I prayed to the God of heaven right
he's talking to the king but he's
praying to Hashem as he's talking to the
king and then he said and I said unto
the king which King well I think he said
in his heart I am if it pleases the King
and if I found favor in your eyes please
send me to Judah to the city of my
father's that I may build it right so
Nehemia is as he's talking to the king
he's constantly aware this is what Avram
did when he spoke to AVI Mela
and to pyro this is what Yaakov did when
he spoke to a sovereign to Shimon to
this is what our our sages shares the
Moshe Rabbeinu when he spoke to Paro he
was smoking to Hashem that's why Shem
said bow l Paro come to power not go to
power come to power because Hashem is
there within Paro and it's such a
critical very impo why am i bringing all
these sources because it's such a
paradigm shift that if we're ever able
to bring it into our minds to
internalize it it changes the whole
world it changes everything I wish that
the Jews in America were able to do that
rather than to freak out to be afraid to
lie to themselves to delude themselves
to understand that when a man hits a dog
with a stick the dog bites at the stick
where as opposed to saying what is this
all about
what's the underlying purpose here and
can I just share my finish with you that
I thought was really a beautiful thing
Jeremy yeah so I thought so Yom Kippur
and you know and poor him right Yom
Kippur is like poor him why is it like
formal and Yom Kippur you go straight
before Hashem and you're talking to a
sham and you're toning before Hashem but
poram they say is an even holier day
it's an even holier day why because on
porn we realize that when we look at
another person we're seeing Hashem when
we love another person we're loving
Hashem so Avraham so Noah is - Yom
Kippur as Avraham is - poram what do I
mean by that that Hashem came to Noah
con said I'm gonna destroy the world
build an ark Noah could have said he
could have tried to convince the people
around him this is what's going to
happen
turn your hearts back to God repent save
yourselves but no no he doesn't do that
he builds the ark he's not arguing on
behalf of the people nope it's him and
God and he does not have this passion
for Humanity through which he expresses
his love and God so that's Yom Kippur
right but Avraham when it's when God
says he's gonna destroy stone he goes
and he argues on behalf of stone right
he brings these pagan idolaters into his
tent sits by their feet washes their
feet gives them food
Avraham expresses his love for hashem
through all of mankind and that's what
poram is really about and if the Jews of
America were able to see that this is
really Hashem talking to them in
communicating
them because what do they think they
thought well you know it's who is really
the problem here why is rabbis against
human rights petitioning the Supreme
Court and peace now and all these Jewish
organizations petitioning the Supreme
Court against us what is their
underlying motivation I think that they
think that well it's those Jews those
Judeans the Jews that are standing out
there the reason that the world hates us
if we would just disseminate and
disappear well then the world would love
us and that's why they say that the
Megillah starts with the banquet it
starts with the story starts with the
banquets because to teach us that that's
the reason the decree happened the
decree came against the Jewish people
because they went to this banquet where
the vessels of the temple were being
used and a hush rushed the king was
wearing the high priests garments and
they went there to that banquet because
otherwise if we didn't know that I'm
sure I have no doubt that many Jews were
blaming this decree on more dahye then
Mordechai not only didn't bow to Haman
but went out of his way to find Haman
when Haman was going down stand there in
front of everyone not bow to Haman of
course they're gonna blame Mordecai of
course they're gonna blame him and so I
think a lot of American Jews would just
blame Israel and blame Judea and blame
the settler assembly settlers that's the
reason that they'll and now they're
having this this this real tragedy right
and that's the thing I want to know but
that's not beautifully about Yellin home
art is because the mask has come off
she's not blaming the settlers and she's
not blaming Israel she's saying the Jews
are a fifth column in America even the
Jew there the door boiled apart exactly
even the Jews in my own party and then
that's the thing but when you look at
you know rabbis for human rights in
peace now and they're bringing this a
lawsuit against us they are while
they're really deeply sick people and
that's why I really have no hatred for
them but a lot of compassion for them
that they have to walk around being them
the they're really very small group here
in Israel they're very
disproportionately felt in this country
why because of the European money that
is being bused into them that's why
they're the every time they I don't know
what is preventing this
ngo law from passing that nonprofits in
israel non-governmental organizations
should not be allowed to receive
overwhelming amounts of money from
foreign governments and from foreign
people who are trying to undermine the
this country from within in exactly this
way whenever I think about what's
happening with the European countries
and Israel it makes my blood boil
because what Europe tried to do 75 years
ago they're continuing now they're
paying the families of terrorists to
continue to kill Jews making it a good
business to kill Jews in Israel so what
they couldn't finish with their soldiers
they're paying other mercenaries now to
go and kill Jews while they're trying to
attack us legally like Europe is not
done with the Jews and they continue the
war against us even now but nonetheless
there are still Jews that are fighting
the good fight to stay there to be
accepted to be loved and for those Jews
things are going to be increasingly dark
they're gonna be increasingly dark but
here's what I wanted to say because it's
so Magilla that it this this perspective
this prism if we see our enemies and
those seeking our damage our destruction
our downfall we can understand that this
is really there's two prototypes the
cause I'll tell our sages tell us of Jew
haters there's the Akasha faroush
prototype and the Heyman prototype
now the Heyman one we know that's a
Moloch that is the visceral overwhelming
irrational hatred to destroy the Jewish
people that is the primary driving force
for their lives for their existence when
Hitler decided who are we gonna focus on
are we gonna focus the rest of the Nazi
armies resources on beating the Allies
and winning the war or destroying the
Jewish people he said no destroying the
Jewish people that's my war that is the
Heyman prototype and then there's the
hush-hush prototype he's more the the
wolf in sheep's clothing it's much more
nuanced he has a hatred of the Jews but
he harnesses Haman's hatred for that
purpose so they was they work together
so this the story goes that the that
brings down on the Talmud that the two
prototypes are like this there's a one
man that has a huge mouth
of dirt in his in his yard the other man
has a deep what sekolah up a pit an
empty pit and so the man with the dirt
is thinking what I wouldn't give to just
to get this dirt off of my yard and the
guy with the pit is thinking I just need
to fill this pit up what I want to give
to be able to fill this up so they meet
one day and the guy with the pits as
well you have all that dirt yeah I'll
give you ten thousand shekels just let
me put it in my pit and the guy says you
know what
take it keep the money I don't even want
the money take the dirt that is a hush
for ocean home on that Hammond what has
this deep visceral void pit in his
stomach he needs to destroy the Jewish
people and a hush Rocha has this Kingdom
full of Jews that he doesn't love much
anyways and himand gusta Hut Roshan says
please I'll give you ten thousand
shekels ten thousand Dean are just what
wipe them out and hunters like you you
know what keep it keep it I don't want
it and you know what I like this idea so
much here is the my royal seal that's
how excited I am about this idea and
then it goes down to the very roots of
it with a sub and yeesh mal I've said
this on the show before but it is so
beautiful and so perfect for right now
that a sub hates Yaakov so much he
tricked him twice he says the when the
days of my father come to an end then
I'm gonna go and I'm going to kill
Yaakov now our house I'll say or say
just tell us that he didn't just want to
wait for his father you'd select to die
he was actually gonna take a move to
expedite that that reality so he went to
yushima l his uncle and he said listen
here's the idea you kill your brother
right you should miles brothers he
attack I'll kill my brother Yaakov and
together we're gonna take over the whole
world
yeesh mal loved the idea he gave him his
daughter in marriage but it says that
he's a soft said in his heart once we do
this I'm gonna kill you you smile and
you smile says once we do this I'm gonna
kill you a sob they both hated each
other and so you look at Ilhan Omar and
who is coming to her defense and writing
beautiful tweets about her David Duke
David Duke the white supremacist that
hates non-whites hates blacks hates
Muslims but he is defending Ilhan Omar
and he's defending Farrakhan and there's
this alliant that's an extreme example
but the alliance between the European
left and the fundamentalist Muslim
religious like the European atheist left
and the fundamental Muslim
what weird bedfellows that they're
allowing themselves together and we see
no no this goes a lot further back than
you know superficial political
explanations this is a deep spiritual
predisposition and we're seeing a play
out in our lives right now and that's
why it's just that what's the answer the
answer is that assimilation is the cause
of this if we are Mordecai if we put our
faith in Hashem and we're proud Jews and
I think Hashem is also right now the
gates of the Exile are starting to close
we're starting to see the unfolding the
deterioration the unraveling of American
Jews and in global jury diaspora
unraveling that's what I was shocked
that you said the thing about
anti-semitism and assimilation many
Aliyah that's the answer there's a place
where you're a majority there's a place
where you're not a minority fighting for
tolerance in order that you can preserve
yourself in your future there's a place
where you have a home and a destiny and
obviously your home is in Israel that's
where you can feel comfortable if you're
a left-wing Jew then you can vote Moshe
Feiglin and if you're a white wing Jew
you can vote but Salo Smotrich there's a
place for you here in the land of Israel
where you can shape our destiny and
bring the values that you have whatever
they may be and join Israel and where
you're supposed to be what's happening
now in Europe and the United States it's
the beginning of the end and so the
answer isn't to fight assimilation the
answer is to get on an airplane and move
to Israel yeah one of the reasons i
listened to ben shapiro regularly is
because i respect him he has courage and
i feel like for the vast majority as
much as any person that i know that to
human being with flaws
he's intellectually honest and he just
had an episode that i listened to and he
was like wow i was not expecting this i
never thought it would happen like this
or it happened so quick
to see what's happening with
anti-semitism with Jew hatred in America
in the Democratic Party
nobody is rising to their defense and I
just didn't think I would see this is a
very sad day for Jews and someone said
do you think that this is going to
increase alia to Israel and he said yes
I do
and that was it because we've had him on
the show twice right and and that's was
an the issue of contention and and now
he's I think seeing it from a very
different perspective you know like what
is it about the Democratic Party that
Jews are so attracted to and when I boil
it down it comes down to two things I
think one the Democrats are known before
tolerance you know accept this and
accept that and accept this lifestyle
accept that lifestyle and it's usually
expressed through through gays and
transgender but the idea of Tolerance
really comes from self-preservation well
if they're tolerant of those kinds of
people and those minorities then they'll
be tolerant of us well that's kind of
falling apart now and the second one
which I think is a little bit more
important and even a little bit deeper
in the jewish soul is democrats are
known for trying to fix the world
whether they're doing a good job or a
bad job conservatives are trying to
conserve what is and democrats are
progressive trying to make progress in
trying to fix what now the Green Deal
and the stupidity of that woman AOC and
her just ridiculous even the head of
Greenpeace is like oh man this woman
this cars knows nothing about the
environment knows nothing about science
but that striving to make the world
better I think is a real real deep
Jewish embedded reality that Jews
identify with whether they be liberal
secular Jews in America or whether they
be ultra-orthodox Jews in Panay Brock
tikkun olam fixing the world is such an
embedded Jewish idea and I was hearing a
conversation from emunah my
five-year-old and tequila and a muna
when we brush her hair we let we let her
watch like you know different cartoons
and then sometimes we leave the phone
with her and you know she's watching
these cartoons on YouTube and we try to
like pick at least some cartoons that
are something there you are either
cartoons that we knew of when we were
children that are relatively harmless
that may have a good meaning at the end
but every once in a while a cartoon will
slip in there that's sort of on the
YouTube playlist and that'll pop up and
then em when I comes to
wife Dylan says you know who do you like
more sheera princess of power or Barbie
sure obviously and then he must like of
course we like Cheryl more how are you
even watching Barbie he said I like
Shira princess of power more to shear a
princess of power she's like a misplay
Aloma fired
she's like the nation of Israel isn't
scared I can fight Hordak and I can
fight those bad guys and that's the way
the Jewish people should be we shouldn't
be scared we should try to go and save
the world
Barbie she's like I just want to have
fun and other people will save the world
for me Shira princess of power she was a
liberated woman Shira brings as a power
she wants to go and save the world and
that's what we should never forget we
should be like evilly uh nope even to
shame you know she starts like quoting
these Jewish songs that she knows
articulating how Shira princess of power
fighting the forces of evil is really um
like the mission of the Jewish people
and I feel like that sort of
five-year-old understanding is embedded
in every Jew around the world and so but
particularly Jews being raised with that
internet or TV and Judea yeah like
struggling to find internet reception on
a phone as they're watching like
cartoons and so you know I was walking
with Akiva we were just taking a hike
here one afternoon when he got back from
school and there right now is literally
the most beautiful time of the year in
our farm I mean there's just hands-down
the weather is gorgeous the rains have
not yet stopped but pretty much stopped
so there's green everywhere you know
we're really at the edge of the desert
so most of the time if you come here in
August it'll be pretty brown but right
now everything is green there are wild
flowers everywhere and Akiva Lapointe I
said listen it's just it's so beautiful
here you just don't never notice how
many wild flowers there aren't all the
different colors it's like Kaaba isn't
it interesting there's also these cooked
seam here there's also these thorny
bushes here and it's like ah but you
know what that reminds me of it reminds
me of the Gila it reminds me of
Redemption
and I'm like okay I keep I would love to
hear this how does it remind you of
Redemption and he's like because like
we're in Israel now and there's so many
beautiful things that are happening and
there's so many flowers and it's really
coming back to life but at the same time
there's a lot of Cooke seem still in
Israel there's a lot of problems that
are still here no way he said that's
what he said on his own as we're like
hiking through the mountains
like a Kiva you are just the most
amazing kid in the world he's 12 years
old he's already like developing his own
thoughts and his own insights into the
world but that really is the way to see
I think Israel like yeah we have a lot
of thorny bushes that we still need to
to deal with you know there's still
terrorism and there's Aza
and there's all these different
realities but the desert is blossoming
like there's so much green and there are
so many wildflowers that are here and
our battle is really to not hyper focus
on the thorns not to hyper focus on and
also like the more that I think about it
and the more that I just live in this
world how are we going to accomplish the
Jewish mission of fixing the whole world
and so you know I think about you know I
put out this in this music video and it
has now over 20,000 views in less than a
month and that is just so exciting and I
think about just one person at a time
you know each person I don't know they
know about 500 people and you know if
you do a good act you're not just
changing yourself but in some ways
you've now elevated yourself and by
default you're gonna elevate the people
around you because you're a little bit
higher now so you're gonna elevate your
husband or wife or your children and
your friends and their friends and each
person there's like a ripple effect that
happens and then those people that
you've affected well they know also
about 500 people and yeah the influence
gets a little bit weaker and weaker as
those circles continue to spread but
every person elevated every person
changed one person at a time is the way
to fix the entire world if everyone took
it upon themselves to just not try to
change climate change and change global
structures of economies and politics but
just to fix themselves and fix their
homes if everyone just took that
responsibility upon themselves the whole
world would be transformed in one
generation and I think that's where
we're at right now and so when I think
about you know the impact that each
individual has it really gives me
motivation to try to go out and spread
the light you know if I'm able to
elevate one person if I'm able to
inspire a prayer and one person I know
that that person is effecting 500 people
and those 500 people are effecting 500
people it really motivates me I don't
think we should be too outcome oriented
but there's something about it saying
like wow you can really spread light
into the world and I feel like what we
did last weekend with our first Israel
inspired
retreat in the Dead Sea was exactly that
a hundred and fifty people came from not
only all over Israel but from around the
world there were Jews there were even a
bunch of non-jews that just joined the
party and it was I feel like people
walked away they're touched moved
inspired enlightened educated fired up
to go back and be a Jew in Israel again
like they had made Ali on most of them
and it's like reminding us why we made
alia and to keep making alia and it was
just I walked away from that event I was
like the one working quote unquote
and I walked away inspired I walked away
elevated and I'm just excited for the
next one to come about yeah and I'll
tell you the the way this came about was
also pretty interesting our our beloved
friend of many years
Avraham Altschuler he got this Juke in
his head and he wanted to do this event
we at the time I don't think we fully
shared the vision of it all how it was
gonna be but he was pushing it pushing
and pushing and I was like I remember I
had a voice in my heart that you know
what he has such an overwhelming need to
create an event for us to be able to
speak to people to share this message
who's giving him this to this desire
where is that coming from maybe I should
not act like I know exactly the way
things are supposed to be and what we're
supposed to be promoting and we're
bringing people out to Judea what to go
to the the Dead Sea in a five-star hotel
and do a retreat if we're gonna do a
retreat it's gonna be at our place here
in Judea but then I said okay you know
he wants to do this so badly you should
I said I'm in and so fusia is doing it
then you know that is of course
strengthen my resolve even further to be
able to to do an event like this with
you shine it was so special it was such
a really powerful powerful event we have
150 people there right and the the it
was originally marketed because on some
whatever globe like material level of
world were in me and you and you shy
were like the guys that are out there
where the big faces were the the we've
got a message and we're activists and
then we are wives also we're gonna be
there and hosting you know different
lectures and speeches and presentations
as well and sort of so there they're
there because we're also there but we're
like the main thing
and then our wives speak and I'm not
like that guy that's like oh my wife is
so great it just to get like brownie
points maybe there's a little part of
that here but not really I mean I'm
telling you between you tequila's
presentations which were mind-blowing
she do she yeah she's unbelievable I
mean it was like it was when I say
future she means a novel new idea in the
world total insight insight for him into
the toilet toilet into the color blue
back to the Iliad and the Odyssey in the
color blind I mean I can't we're not
going into the whole thing here it was
awesome Shana my wife she just got her
doctorate and she was teaching about
self compassion
self efficacy how to be there for
yourself the connection between the two
and that is such important work in our
times today to be able to really have
compassion for ourselves only when we're
able to have compassion for ourselves
can we really love other people only
when we fully accept other people can we
really change ourselves the connection
they're such important work
Malka spoke about and when I mean the
wives just blew it out of the water I
mean it was just so so good and the just
you know the event and we were it was
the first time we did it I think we
learned a lot of things but the next one
is going to be amazing this one was
already epic and huge a historic it the
whole things that were in that sort of
like ballroom it was sort of like to me
was a little bit of a dungeon there were
no windows there's it was just dark you
didn't tell what time of day it was and
if that plate was they was able to light
up and become dynamic and exciting in
that place next time we're gonna be able
to do it in a better place in a better
ways integrate people more and but it
was just it was a really really special
thing and so associate what are we
calling it we're calling it the Israel
inspired retreat Israel inspired retreat
you know I think the next one is going
must be a conference I think so many
people are going to come because the
word of mouth has already spread what an
incredible time in the age range I mean
we had about 40 kids young couples
grandparents we had one great
grandparent and everyone just had such a
marvelous time and I feel like for me I
learned a really powerful lesson and it
was the LAT lesson actually that I gave
over Friday night is that you know the
Israel inspired retreat how do we
inspiration how do we maintain
inspiration and to me the answer is that
most people wait to be inspired to take
action they're waiting to be moved in
order to go exercise they're waiting to
be inspired to go on that diet they're
just waiting for the spirit to overcome
them to finally get to do that to do
that they've always wanted to do but
haven't yet done it and I feel like the
secret that the Torah reveals to us is
that action berths inspiration not the
other way around
inspiration is a byproduct of action and
the more that we just act in the world
and we're not what is the right thing to
do and just do it that was what you said
recently will come I I walked away was
that the Friday night Dominick speech
you gave from smote yeah I don't know
how you connected the two but I walked
away really like saying like that's
exactly the message I needed to hear
well that's because there's so many
things I want to do and right and I'm
just when I want to do it I'm not
feeling inspired to do it and I feel
like well I don't have that divine touch
working through me right now and I
really walked away from there saying no
no you just got to do it right Hashem
will see okay you're doing it you're
putting it in Hashem will send the
inspiration then that was a big a very
important muster you know like an
important life lesson I needed to hear
it yeah I think it's really all
throughout the book of Shimoda you know
it's you know no 70 shmeil we will do
and then we will understand just build
it and build it and build it and all
these details of the myshkin's like okay
we'll just build it and then the cloud
of glory appears it's just we got to
take the action and then the inspiration
comes and I just want to leave this with
this one last message that's something
that you said really really inspired me
now because the book of Ezra and I mean
it really is happening at the parallel
time of the story of poram it's like the
poram story that no one talks about
because it's what's happening at the
porn story what's happening in the Land
of Israel and you're talking about
Nehemia Nehemiah and how marvellous it
is that it says Vaio mirela mela and
again meaning it's like a style that's
happening that when it says hemella it's
talking about the king that of flesh and
blood but then it's also literally
talking to the king and if you read that
verse in the book of Nahum iya you can
literally read it as though Nehemia is
talking not to the king but through the
king he's talking directly through the
king to Hashem realizing who runs the
show here how did Donald Trump end up
the
President of the United States no one
expected that there's like moves are
happening but there's like a giant plan
that's unfolding and so sometimes you
know I feel a little bit nervous
I feel like overwhelmed the Supreme
Court the Arab world who's gonna win
these elections are they going to evict
us from Judea and Samaria and make
Israel nine miles wide but then you just
have to remember that like there is a
bigger plan a master plan and there's a
master to that master plan and I think
that's what allows you to not hyper
focus on the thorns when you're able to
really live a life where you integrate
from your head to your heart that Hashem
is behind everyone and everything and
that there's nothing that we're gonna do
to mess up this plan or to make it
perfect Hashem is in charge you're able
to really see not hyper focus on the
thorns because it's not up to us really
to remove them we have to do our part
and so you gotta figure got to see the
thorns and you got to pull them out you
could also enjoy the greater picture
because that shows in charge of the
whole thing yeah so there's one thing
that I want to share right before we end
and that's the one song on the album
that doesn't really have to do with the
morning prayers but it was a song that
came to me in a very stressful time
moving out to this farm giving all of my
money selling my possessions selling my
home investing it in a house that
doesn't even belong to me moving out to
this the most contested real estate in
the world with my six kids it was just
like oh my goodness and it was mean hi
mates our karate yeah from this narrow
place from my distressed I called out to
God a nanny bomber huff yeah just answer
me in the expanse answer me with like
the with what I need to see and what I
need to hear and then the last pursuit
is lo a masa para mas saya I am NOT
going to die but I shall live and I will
tell of the great deeds of God and so
here's a song I want to share with you
and if you enjoy this song you enjoy the
other one that's on youtube you can go
to the Land of Israel com download the
album the e-book is going to be done in
the next few days and that is going
directly to support our work here at the
Land of Israel Network that's where it
goes it's not you know going anywhere
else so if you want to continue
supporting the network continue building
our farm it's right there on the thing
enjoy you can also go to the Land of
Israel come back slash your donate
that's true a lot of people have
listened to it but they want to be a
part of what we're doing that is always
always always
Abraha for us so Shalom to all of you
and hopefully hopefully please God
