Is a Cracked Foundation a Real Inspection Issue?

It's not considered a structural as long as it's vertical. It's less than 38 of an inch. It's only one. It starts at a window which is always going to be a weak point. This is not considered a structural issue quite often. >> Yes. Very often all every concrete is going to shrink active. >> So this has to be epoxied sealed up. You don't want the water to come in. But this is not considered a structural issue. Um not like back out. This is >> What do you think it cost such a thing to fix? >> Probably anywhere between a,000 2,000. >> Oh, that's it? >> Yeah. It should be a definitely should be taken care of because the water you don't want the water coming in. >> So that's if somebody somebody buys a house that's a for 980 considering at 982 and you're good to go. >> Exactly. >> Oh, it's very important because some some people think oh foundation crack and mention they don't have the knowledge and they think it's the worst. >> So yeah, generally a good home inspector will tell you don't make it emotional, right? Whatever the issue is, the worst issue that you can think of, make it a money issue. Let's say okay, so this is this is going to be an issue, right? So you you have your money h what what you ready to put in. Okay. So this going to cost you get a quote. This is what it's going to cost you and you make your again.
