next we have David abaya the more rockers follow me ambassador [Applause] how does judaism inspire a jewish brings a question that seems so Dementor ii it's so refined how is it that jews make up only 0.2% of the world's population yet has such a profound impact on today's society the answer is actually quite simple community however not just any community but a community based on torah values and traditions my name is david abide and i have the old on me campus ambassador for Rutgers University and today I was thinking about my journey of achieving Jewish Vegas all admitted at first I was nervous to be seen around campus chatting with my obelisk however I soon realized that my whole Lobby campus rabbis where the missing pieces to my Judaism puzzle I finally realized that our conversations said the stepping stone to the credible relationship both spiritually and professionally it was because of our of our insightful conversations that I have developed a passion so other Jewish students explored their Judaism soon after I began attending Shabbat meals and got involved with commodities attending a course here towards reuniting Jews to their culture and heritage these are moments that have been engraved to my heart deeply each and every Shabbat experience that I have been a part of only goes to show the immense amount of kindness generosity and sense of community that we have in our Jewish people during my time at Rutgers I also be grateful enough to have Donna Mae or Israel a Morocco allow me fund a trip that many describe as birthright 2.0 it was then and there that I had my Epiphany I needed to get more involved with Judaism I was yearning for it each and every experience that I have had would shoes have been so beneficial to me and my community so it asks how does Judaism inspire Jewish greatness I responded with a single word community thank you all on me and thank you no probably better hearing my story there some particular experience that sort of you can talk about an epiphany when they didn't have to what happened right there so I would say mostly Shabbat experience is that each and every time I've gone on a shamans home where I visited my rabbis house it was so long it was so kind I'm so gracious they provided me with food shelter you know a place to call home really it was my home away from home and in Israel that's what we had at the Ramada Hotel in Jerusalem and we were just all there together we were singing we were dancing you know we were celebrating Judaism in its heritage and that's what really inspired me to to you know show that's August we have Jonathan Sevilla
