Hello everyone and welcome back to
Inside Art Scroll where the books you
read and the people who write them come
to life. Today we are privileged to be
joined by Rabin Yaman Pashkus who has
become somewhat synonymous with the
Zerosimchin which I'd love to get into.
So let's start right there. How did you
get involved in the learning and the
spreading of the safer zerin?
I got
involved seven years ago.
Uh I worked in a mortgage
company and I had some free time and I
received
um information on organization
called where they had like 300
unfortunate couple don't have
children all kinds
of snag them and they they gave for
these people they they used to give out
they give out pamphlets and they used
send them to hotels. They they help them
out. And Rab my partner is is Rabbi
Zilberg. He does all the all the writing
and the har people and they do all the
all the things there. And his father
Rabi Zilberg is a rashiva in Aloha in
Israel. He happened to be at a wedding
in
Toronto. And um somewhere in his table
said the var from the
zeros and we never heard the
shimsh and next to him was brief who
actually printed uh the zerosion over
the first time he printed
over I don't know the English date but
um it was printed uh originally was
printed a year before he passed away
that's about 240 30 years ago and he
gave out a cipher on Piras which is
called to shims that he gave out about
20 years before. Mhm. And re masher
printed her over he happened to find a
cipher he
went to and there was a lot of there old
and they brought her back here and he
just printed it over just the way it was
originally. It's very hard to read this
everything you know I have the original
print and he start telling about this
shimshin and uh he went back to Israel
and this rais unfortunately didn't have
children for a couple of years and he
had a partner there that didn't have
children for 15
years and this fat is gulafer
shimshin tell your friend that maybe you
know we should publicize it we should
try to get out to the world now when you
say that's a schooler It's not you know
that's that's what did he mean by that?
What do you mean? Okay. I have to tell
you you know I got a call from a lady in
Lakewood and she asked me about the
information about Shimshin. I told his
he was aim you know every medish he
didn't have a computer those days and
everything he knew you know by heart you
know med all the medium is just an
unbelievable
cipher and and I said so he says
unfortunately he had one child and he
didn't make it there was a ber and he
said these are my children he called
them and told the shimsh these are my
children you think the author of the zer
[Music]
was in Italy and he says these are these
are my children. So he only had one
son in his lifetime. He says, "These are
my children." And the swarm and he begs
in the cipher. He says, "Please learn my
cipher." And you know, and he's not just
ga I'm promising you that you can have
children, you have children, you have
life, you can have and you have a house
full of goods. And um so this lady
called me up. He says, "My my husband
doesn't want he doesn't like sigulas for
him." I said, "It's not a sigilla
cipher. a cipher
that's you know we have to be that that
learn it every day it's a matter of
fact I learned years ago and the rabbi
here told me that his
father he set up
on this year we would we want to print
that so you know people knew not
everybody knew about it but the the sons
the
He knew about it. Also, I'm I'm from
Minkach. I I I come my my parents, my
father and mother, I'm from the Proing
family. They all were were born in
Minkach. They came to America in 1938.
My grandfather was Rabbi Muliger. My
mother's mother, my father's father was
blazkus. He was from the first two of
the satbi. They lent him and his brother
liel and um you know came to America.
You know, my my my mother parents got
married. Uh my father put on my mother
put on a sh I went to see it. It was,
you know, on to Shindala. That was what
was that the
1942, right? The 42. So we going back to
what we're saying. So um so they they
didn't have children for for a while and
his father said this is gula cipher
cipher. So they they try to find it and
they couldn't find it. The bottom line
is you said we have to reprint it. we
have to reprint the cyra and uh there's
a in Williamsburg there's a rabel
actually who he was in the kashabish now
he has zmedish and he saw he happened to
see the cipher reprinted then he was
married also for seven years and he saw
it says there that he went over to the
kasharov he says look what it says you
know what what do you think what do you
think I should do he says I think you
should reprint it and also take money
from people don't have children. There
was like four or five couples, his
friends. I think each one gave
$1,000 and uh they all got helped. He
spent probably 50 $60,000 to interpret,
you know, in the Zim, the old original
one, everything is one piece. That's why
you put them out. McCoy is you know me
everything in his head. So, you know,
they put him out. It was very big job.
It took him a couple of years, but once
they started working on it, they started
doing it, they all got helped. And uh a
matter of fact, there was another couple
that didn't have children and they he
didn't get money. He said, "I'm going to
buy a box of food. I'm going to give it
to the shoes." He also got help. So we,
you know, that's how it started out
with, you know, with children. But he
says
everything. I I had once a call from
Lake says, "How about chulias?" He says
he has a problem with chias. He doesn't
say anything about chias. I says, "I
don't know." He says, "A house full of
goods." I don't think if you have the
rational buy it's called a house full of
goods. So
uh I don't know what the end was but I'm
sure he had chias afterwards. So
basically that that's how we got
involved and I I volunteered says why
could I help you know you know I had
some extra time. So, so that's how we
got involved and we started reprinting
the
the and every year we make a
suda make a suda there and it's going on
for a couple years already and one year
we we gave our for free we we gave we
gave him cipher and we heard a couple
couples got got help then and that safer
was there on
on No, we g we gave the total
on are those the only two swarm that
were
and and it's one volume
onto two volumes. Two volumes two
volumes two volumes about 1,600 pages
and a couple hundred pages. I'm pretty
it's people ask me to interpret the
English that's not so easy at pil
English is I don't know if everybody
play yeah I think there are but it's not
not so easy but uh we're going to start
taking our words from there you know.
Mhm. Maybe arts schools do us. We'll
see. We'll see what we do. That's what
we're doing here. That's what we're
going to get into. That's what we get
into. So, basically, that's how we
started out. You know, it's been seven
years already. And um when we started
doing this, I have a lot of requests
English. I was born in America. You
know, I English. I hate to say I
graduated in the fifth grade because you
know our times, you know, we wanted to
learn but you know, we couldn't do it
oursel in English. Where where did you
grow up? In I grew up in Williamsburg.
Williamsburg. I went I went close on Lee
Avenue 131 Lee Avenue went to Shiva and
then I went to uh there was no such
thing as as Katana we went to Israel you
know that time the rabbi moved to Israel
to and then we went a year later so you
went to yeshiva sounds was there for two
and a half years at that time there was
no phone calls and there was no it
wasn't like that you come back for you
come back you stood there for years and
then then you came home so you came home
at what age. Yeah, I came home was 17
years old. I went to me. I went
to for three years.
Reb was
right. Of course.
Sure.
I never forget he used to
say it was he
was in the dark. He said, you know,
usually he had something in front of
him. So he had he had to know it by
heart. He said, you know, it was
interesting. You know, there was
a old good days in Mish. We used to call
it hotel. It was a yeshiva that that
that you could do whatever you want. You
learn, most people learn. It says in in
the he says one of the reasons is
because some people cannot learn under
pressure. pressure you want. So there
was they learned it was a very you know
big a lot
of file was there was a lot of going
came out of the yeshiv you know was a
before my uncle was a big but walpin you
know all all these all these rish they
learn in
um going back to so basically you know
we we going back
Shimshin uh we started you know we
started request you know to do it in
English and so we
met you know uh why did I go I heard he
wrote an article 2007 he wrote an
article in in in
the described there was a big mis in
Manchester a whole story with you know
they gave up on him and he started for
that was the story that that he wrote
over there
and himself didn't know that second time
I met was 2014, seven years later and I
got calls from people that had Yeshis
because they started learning Zim from
from his original his original article
in 2007. Uh so then he re he revisit he
put another article in Amadia revisited
the shiman uh 2014. It took me two years
to convince him to write a book but u
just unbelievable. the first book he
wrote uh probably sold 20,000 25,000
copies and people are reading the
stories and we get compliments you know
and to clarify that that first book he
wrote and then a second subsequent book
those books
have from followed by a story that
he some stories relate to and some are
just from just to bring out the message
to bring out the message bring out the
message yeah and uh you know we we did
it and we didn't we didn't believe that
this is going to happen because once the
book came out you know the phone call
didn't start and people want to help but
what else can we do and you know it's
just just unbelievable now you know
seven years later it's now 2021
tomorrow's the new year it says from
from the from the that we could say a
good year
because rides we're going if they have a
good year it's also so we could say you
know it should be a new You know, you
know the old American people, my mother
sh was a new year. They I think they
went to time square. There was, you
know, the old Americans, you know, there
was a any case you have a new year. So
basically uh it became a first you know
and people people are seeing is you know
I told you before we could write a book
just of we did we did give out uh we did
a beer on and also on there is um in
parishion the medish says
that is a so he wrote a parish on every
pik he wrote his own parishes we gave a
whole cipher from that and the back we
have even in the two volumes you also
start out in you know with the Shia and
basically this day we can't even write
so much because a lot of you know but
you know there's always interesting
stories which we can talk about soon uh
of interesting iss that we see from
people learning you know people you know
I can give us a shas I got a call from
someone from lakewood they think the
English one helps also the English one
helps you know it's you know kadusha
means it's it's holy words so uh I I
said that the you I got a call. There
was a girl as she was 25 years old in in
Lakewood. She looking for a shik and
nothing was moving and when when gave
out his book uh on each
parad she said I'm finishing the whole
book. She finished the whole book and as
soon as she finished it they talked to
two weeks later she was engaged. So I
know it helps. I mean Hashem gave the
toy height of 70 languages. M 70
languages you know you know it's you
know we're in America you know so that
that's the it's the language we speak
now many people who are not familiar
with the author of the
are surprised to hear that he lived
quite a while ago he lived 240 years ago
240 years ago at the same time as same
letters going back yeah same time what
who are the some of the other
contemporaries and I was going to ask
you is there any correspondence between
some correspondence I think is a bro
there is some correspondence between him
and all the yeah you said he was a god
where did he live in Italian Italy in
Italy and was he a rabbitic figure in
Italy yeah he was a figure he wrote
cheer you he did a lot from him you know
do we know much more about his
background and his history yeah it's
it's it's all written up it's all
written up in in the art school sitting
up in our you know we gave out since
then we just gave out a mir which was an
explanation you on like our school we
just took out the nish para too you know
it's it's a big volume you know we are
not our school so we can't afford to do
the whole thing but we're working on it
we're going to have eventually like
shinish eventually we're going to have
that also but we gave out we gave out
migill
was beautiful we did in Hebrew and we
worked with them we gave
them the dorra from from the shimsh and
they did it in English and you know
we're we gave out a till we took
together from all
form when we gave it a tumm and uh we
gave it out the like I
said and so we we're constantly doing
now now somebody's making and he wants
to give a for the ladies he's giving the
and he wanted something said we'll do a
bench so we got together you know all
the so one of my mitz is next week and
one of them is in
it's interesting You know, we're talking
about certain shears. There was a guy by
the name of Josie Weinberg. I think he
lives in Barack. He lives. He made a
year and a half ago in in
Long. And he called me up. He says, "I
want to give for the men. I want to give
the Shir with a beer and I want to give
for the ladies a." So the man was blue
on the for ladies. He made it white. He
said, "Fine." Well, we printed made a
special print, you know, in the front
cover. where he put his name the and he
gave it out by the and the kala has an
uncle in
Israel he came to the kass roof I don't
remember his name he came to the kass
and he he took he took the two swarm one
for his wife one for him and he put in
his telephone number into into the
cipher he took it home and for somehow
he must have a lot of sw put he put a
couple of swore a box of two swarm in
the storage I guess in Israel in the
cell and a guy came there he thought it
was you He saw for him in the basement
whatever he thought it's he so he took
the cipher the ash and he started
learning every day twice a week whatever
and he didn't have children for nine
years within the year that he started
learning the cipher he had a boy little
boy after nine years and he called up
this uncle that came from he thanked him
very much for making heer his cipher
that I got
helped so the guy says to him there
wasn't in Africa. It just happened. You
took it. There wasn't. But Hashem has
his ways of of of of making something
happen. He put it in storage. He went to
Kassan and we printed and he got it. But
uh basically, you know, like you say,
Saddic promises that uh and we see we
see many sometimes it's it's it's fair,
sometimes it takes a little longer. You
know, it's like like all all other Yesh,
you know, you say 40 years 40 days, you
get helped. A lot of people say say I
had one one of my daughters were about
27 and uh somebody told me from big
makibble I should say 40 times she in
one shot 40 times you know what that
means for without any he can't go to the
nothing it took me like four and a half
five
hours I did it for now I don't know if
he's tell me to do it again I don't know
I don't know if I could do it again but
I'm trying to bring out it took another
year and a half till she got engaged but
sometimes you know this the thing is a
minute. If you believe you see the right
away, you know, you have to have a
minute you pull you pull the but there's
no clue this you know people 40 days you
know you learn once twice a week there's
no there's no there's no it all depends
why do you think that the
he wrote laid dormant for so many years
that people didn't know about it it's an
unbelievable thing he lived in the 1700s
we're holding now tough
and now it just seems like this movement
is growing and growing. This project I
should mention for our viewers is a is
just the beginning. This is the first
volume
on fully elucidated meaning the our here
at art school took the Hebrew text of
the translating every single word with a
commentary on him. very clear, very and
a synopsis at the end of each section.
Like you said before, everything is
divided and this is just the first of
what's projected to be a 10 volume
project. Uh we're coming out now with
this is just came out. Then we're coming
out with Isra. It's going to be out in
time for this cycle. Then we'll be
jumping probably to Dvarim and
eventually finish it over the next two
years. But my question is why in your
mind you're being you've been so
involved. Why do you think that this
phenomenon has kind of just sprouted now
and this is a treasure trove
of and insights from a
god? What's what's the explanation?
Well, it it
says everything is a mas that comes time
even you know you see people don't read
in it and that that you read every day
so it's basically there comes a time
people need unfortunately you
know I mean you know I get involved in
that it's just unbelievable what's going
out you know uh I get calls I I get a
call from Mo Shaw's a boy from
Washington he's 50 years old he said I
can't take it anymore I didn't want to I
don't ask personal questions but what do
you do by 35? What you do by 40 by 45?
Why why are you calling me when you're
50 years old? He said I just heard about
the maybe you could help me. What can
you do? I said you know listen you know
I we'll learn for you. We have in in in
we we have a coil every Thursday night.
Rab Zberg's brother he says a shir every
Thursday night from 8 to 9 and we we
have over a million there and we
mentioned we we say the whole tim every
Thursday night which means we divide it
the 15 people everybody says thank so it
doesn't take too long and we mention
names people that need you know we
constantly you know that's unrelated to
well we learn oh you learn then you say
after but before we start to learn we
mention that these people need and
happens in you know he promises you
learn with you know and it's constantly
you know starting you know that we don't
even know like I mentioned before Rabbi
David
Gulbaser less than a year he started I
guess he heard about the shimshin and
people got together let's let's try to
do a shir and he has over a thousand
listeners besides all the others at 4:00
daily sh daily for five 10 minutes he
takes out a piece of and he says a story
to it and every day it goes through
their telephone system every day at 4:00
I get a
4:00 I call he says and it's it's very
interesting. So you know the thing about
that is you know they say why
is why is what's
different is you know you get up in the
morning you know you go to
you finish the day you go to m but in
middle of the day you know 3 4:00 now is
early you know you early you go you take
out your time and and you that's is you
know everything that so the same thing
here in the middle of work you know you
stop everything and you listen 10
minutes then you go back to work. So
it's a big issue and you know every day
you know you don't have to pick up the
phone but I try to pick up phone you
know as much as I could. Now if people
out there want to find out information
about the Yeah, we things like that. Is
there a clearing house? Is there anyone
who we have? We have a telephone line
that we say a shir every day. There's a
she for 5 10 minutes. There's a she
giving in in Hebrew and English and and
kesh you know. Uh so we there are we
have we have a telephone line. It's a
free line, you know. Call it's a local
line. It goes to to to call in Israel.
We have our own line for zer cuz I can
tell you people definitely want
information and we were joking before
when we were walking around that people
call art scroll asking for
pashk do I reach by pashkas I want
information so obviously people are
trying to reach you know people call you
all the time the day of the earth we're
giving out now a safe yish it's in print
it should be ready in about two weeks
was a big de we give out we give out a
gillion every week in a couple
was six day of that this is your
and we make a seed in Israel.
the one of there's a loin uh it's called
sorry sorry what if there if the yard
sites an why do you make your suda every
year on tubish we do two of them we do
tashad is good that have children so
they start out in tubishwat and then
they do twice a year they do but tishad
is the biggest one the biggest you know
a couple hundred people come my birthday
also very very good very
good and um so we you know pe people
people are constantly calling you know
there's this you know going back to the
question why I became a fer because
people are seeing you that's how it is
you know people see and everybody you
know who does who doesn't need who
doesn't need my I'm a sp whoever doesn't
need you is for his friend whoever
whoever knows that everything he has
for everybody needs something we need we
need we need my uncle we need
everything we need children we need we
need we need everything we need
everything he needs everything and The
first piece of
the he says it
says it be good for you in this world
and he says it has to be good on this
world to be good on the other world. If
you don't have money if you don't have
if you don't have you know you can't you
can't do anything. So whatever we ask
for is is because we want to learn
everything it has to be
good of course that you know that they
had but we were not in that we need
everything and then Hashem helps you
know you know it's tough times it's
unfortunately when the when the corona
virus started the phone didn't stop
ringing phone stop ringing for Yeshua or
people Yeshua she is yeah what could I
do what could I do I say pray for me um
yeah but the interesting One of the
veteran art scroll editors, yeah, a
beloved editor is Mrs. Miriam Zon. She
lives in Aritis and she writes a lot of
the texts that we use for and books. And
she had a line she said she wrote, "They
came for the school and they stayed for
the
Tyra." It's a beautiful line because
many people are attracted by the schoola
like like you said people need Yeshua in
all different realms parosa
nakas shidim children etc and that's
what I'm hearing now that this safer
came out the zerosion elucidated from
art scroll is that people are saying
hold on the schoola is one thing but the
tyra is beautiful so talk about that for
a second the depth and the beauty and
the kushim and of desert. the rashivists
in Israel Abdon Seal and other rashs
they said they started with this like he
said and I told the questions that he
that he asks and the answer that he says
is just it's just unbelievable
unbelievable unbelievable you
know it was just and he says you know we
start from top to bottom says you start
eight days to one and and says you count
one to top what's what's the and the
says very similar but it's he says the
says two two why why we have eight days
one of the ways that the n was that they
put in the full the full oil the
question is what's was the first day so
they put in they put in all the oil and
every day only an eighth went down and
another ter is that they they they put
in a little and it burned the whole
night went up so he said that's because
the bash the bash says the nest was went
down that's why you count down and the
basil says no add up burn they burn for
so it's
simp answers it's just all the questions
and then the answers people are so you
know you know it's a skill but he says
learn my he didn't say he didn't say
that you know for
learn I'm going to help you know you
know you know we have no idea what means
when we
say in heaven we don't know we don't
know what goes on there but one thing we
know that you know people you see all
the
him and you know say to me light a
candle you know and you know so it's and
we see it should continue before he
asked the question nobody knew about it
the
minki we come from mink he said he has
the zerion from the
muzz you know which passed away passed
away what up to 80 you know 90 years ago
he has the original cipher from the mink
yeah I want see it yet because I I'm
going to write it in. I want to see it.
So, I have to get him my friends to take
a picture. I don't know if I could do
that, but uh I'll try to borrow. Does
anyone have the original manuscript of
the There's some there's a couple of
copies here, but we have a copy of the
original and the the original published
published. Does anyone have the
No, not people are asking. I have a lot
of calls, where's the Kyver? Where's the
KY? You know, they really don't know
because what what happened is and the
place they buried him, it was out of the
city. But by the time the city grow grew
and became middle of the city so they
were they took away the whole place and
they they took it somewhere else. So we
don't know if they he has a mat if they
bring them together in Italy in Italy we
nobody knows no the people we know they
did a lot of research nobody knows but
it says the says you know you learn a
cipher from that that is just like you
go on the scene the says in in Shabas he
says if you go you learn that cipher is
just like you went just like you went
down on the so you know he doesn't say
anything come to my he says learn my and
you see it you know you see you see it
It's beautiful to you know we give a guy
a gillian in Yiddish I was talking about
how what happened by the side there
there's a line called sham that ladies
every day for a phone was that a phone
line a phone line every day there's
probably sometimes you you can listen
how many people you can see there's
about 200 ladies listening Monroe
Williamsburg bor Israel and they say I
told you they say tit them together then
so basically at the day of the earth
somebody somehow said that we're going
to print decipher in
Yiddish from 9:00 in the morning till
like4 to 12 the phone did not stop
ringing a whole day money in
so that now we finally got to it then
you know we we started working we give
out a gillion every week in Yedish and
English and Hebrew but the cipher is
different the cipher you know so it's
going to be finished you know and before
we we we it comes out we're going to
have to reprint it again the demand is
so big you know even to me the somebody
said to you know, I understand like it,
but the Yiddish I don't have to think. I
could say with the Shab I straight
straight from there. I I don't have to
repeat it. So basically, you know, and
like we said, there's no there's still
people that never heard of I get calls
who what who is this? But I know with
art with all these things hopefully, you
know, uh some more people learn. And um
I I I call my source, you know, says,
you know, I want to buy all the stores
have it already, you know, just I said,
are you involved in that? I said I don't
know about my name is there in the book
in the front at least you're definitely
helping be
but you were telling me before that
there are some fascinating stories that
you know share a couple let me share a
story I I got an email about three years
ago four years ago so I never knew he
says looking
for which means he's looking for a
partner to
learn okay send him back in says call me
up. I ask him why do we have
zer? He says that um he put in in Google
sigula for children and it came
out sigula for children you know there
was probably an
article and they put so he wants he says
he says I'm 45 my wife is 35 he wants to
have children he has a
problem I said okay every Thursday night
I'll make a sh with you okay so he
started learning every Thursday night we
started learning
10 15 minutes depends you know I became
because when you learn for yourself you
don't understand the word but I learned
Hebrew you have to interpret to English
and you know I take out the medish I
take out the gammor so it was it was a
big job for me to to to look through all
these things you had to prepare before
you no I didn't prepare for what because
I didn't learn so I just open up a side
whatever whatever I saw where this
gentleman live he lived in Manhattan he
lived in Manhattan he's an accountant
and
um he said okay I learned every every
every every uh Thursday night we we're
going to make a sh a year passed and he
says to me new what do we do now I said
you know what we have to reprint the
Hebrew one give us you know half the
price you know because you know we we we
give for free also but we we sell they
sell the stores pay
half you pay every month you send a
check every month the last month that he
sent a check he had a little
boy I went to the Brit was in on in
uptown Manhattan in the west where on
the west side
went and that's another year appears he
says yeah he says new no new you know
you know he has children he see that he
said you know what do we do now said you
know what we we're reprinting the to
like I said to you before uh about 18 19
years before he he printed the to first
the basically the way the way it's
written that every mission Vana he says
he's saying this over here and he's
saying something else in a different
gamor he tries to relate it together
it's you see he was he was unbelievable
is it is it written differently than des
a little different a little different
you know it's nice you know you have to
use the head you know you know it's a uh
we didn't explanation that yet you know
we're working on the tour but eventually
alco will get there also I'll get there
no question about we'll get the we'll
get there's a lot to do and I said you
know we have to redo it and you know
also pay me half every month he sent a
check in came you know and wouldn't in
between he had a boy and a girl he has
now three children he has a
family and um so we know you know of
course he do other schoolers we know
we're not saying you know everything
helps everything helps when I was in yes
alen my grandfather will there was there
was three three there age 20 to the
Bulligers and myself were first cousin
double cousins. My grandfather said
$6 those days. $6, $2 for each. He wrote
down in English every penny helps. So So
I'm trying to say everything helps. You
know, you don't you don't know. You
know, we we we see she is and you know
and and health and you know you know we
could talk parosas you know we have uh
there was a a place that used that used
to used to print zeros and happens to be
my brother you know we used to give out
color copies you know in the good days
color copies couple we print every week
in Israel about 15,000 copies we print
and it goes in you know all that's for
your organization that's oh yeah that's
what we print yeah and we We in in
Shalam in all the shoes they have a
place there in gula where you pick it up
but we have all these it go it goes all
it goes all over and uh you know we do
this and you know we're doing a lot of
things people people you know are uh
helping you know we couldn't do it
ourselves but like I say you know money
is not the issue money is not the issue
people want to give and they see she is
uh but so you know we we see stories of
a lot of you know there was there was in
in New Square there There was a group of
older boys, you know, square older boy.
If you're 19, you're a you're older boy.
And basically there was the four book
and one guy found about the school he
had borrowed his friend like four book
within two months became engaged. So
that's that's
the you know couple
learn so the you know you know a lot of
them tell you know try you know learn
it's it's a limit. It's not something
you know you know he's not asking you to
fast.
you know learn you know uh there's no
limit I said there you will learn every
day you know it's it's there's not
nothing fixed you know he doesn't say
how much you have to learn and you know
how much money you have to give but what
whatever you do is is is acceptable you
know a cynic might ask and I hope you
don't mind me asking this someone
someone asked me this are you afraid
when when you're when you're so to speak
selling a schoola which I know you're
not you're selling the the desire but
the scholar is a major component people
that's what people talk about. Mhm. Is
there a fear that we're selling false
hope? You know because everything there
bunch of has this of what he does and
when he does it and who gets blessed
with which blessings in life and there's
not no guarantee I know I understand the
author of the should whatever that means
but how do we present that to the public
in a way that they shouldn't have false
hope and understand that when we do
things for a school at the end of the
day is going to do what's best for us.
So, how do you balance both? And I'm
sure this is a question people ask.
Yeah. So, basically what you say is that
when you learn the cipher, you're not
learning it for the school. You're
learning because the Mab said, "Learn my
cipher." I'm asking you, you know, he's
begging you with 10 10 languages of of
of that's what he says. Do me a favor.
Do me learn my cipher and I'm going to
try to help you. I'm you know, he says,
"So, basically, you know, you learn to a
lot." I mean, you know, if you come in
the world to come, people don't realize
what's what's going on there, you know.
you know I didn't do this I didn't do
that but you know you learn you help
somebody else learn somebody else you
know there was now a guy in flatbush
that he's some kind of help and you know
he says how could I help you know what
could I print I says there was a lot of
thing working on print but now what you
can help is you know take a cipher you
know and you know we'll give out 200
copies and we put in a sticker for his
hope he has the raff but you know
whatever you do you know whatever you do
you don't you're not learning the cyber
because you know he says you learn the
cyber because he I asking to learn it
and you you know pick up you know it's a
you know we we have no idea what it
means you know you learn my Toyota we
see from all all the they say you know
learn my Toyota say Toyota you know it's
it's
it's a hishmak learning you know it's
especially hard piece once you
understand it it's gishmak so you don't
you don't it's not a school cipher it's
just you learn the beautiful there you
know if you like the good part of of the
art school now is that they at first
they have the original on top, right? So
if you if
you're understand exactly where look on
the bottom. So that's that's very very
good. Uh I I
I there's a guy every every every you
know I just bought here two copies. We
have we have two copies of of the
article English and Hebrew and there's
more learners the more learners there.
So every time two he buys two more two
two more learners and there's a guy who
packs his form there before we start
learning. says please tell the people
that now we should try to live without
our
school without our school. Try to live
without our school. You know people get
so used to it you know unfortunately you
cannot live without the art school but
you have to know how about you know you
can't you can't your child and see with
you need you need the original. So, uh,
I'm still trying. I I
I cheated. I looked into it. But now
already I'm stuck someplace. I got to
look at the article. You know, it's not
that that I, you know, I learn a lot a
lot in the article. But the truth of the
matter is if you learn a lot and you
learn it through and you have some
questions and you open up the art school
and get slid because I cannot learn art
school because it's so much stuff over
there and you get to you have to learn
the you have to learn not. You saying
that are you applying this to zeros as
well? I don't know in general because
people do say to zeros when you learn it
without an art school translation. It's
a hard it's hard. Yeah. But the good
part is the good part of it is that you
have on on top you know you can learn
right on top which is a very good thing
you can learn on top and you can learn.
So the truth on on the on it's not a
problem on top of but on the Goro if you
want to remember you remember going show
we could show the viewers really is
beautiful
so the readers could see if the camera
is catching this but this is on top the
desertion and then you have and then
there's the elucid elucidation which is
explanatory and then notes on bottom and
then over here this is what I was
talking about before
every approach of
There's a summary. It's written
beautifully. Not long ago, we had a
group of from Lakewood who came for
Kaneka for Kaneka here. They got
together. We gave them a tour of the
binder and I asked a couple of them what
are they working on? They told me
they're working on this. It's a major
major project. A huge number of working
on it. So this is uh a tremendous
undertaking and very exciting and uh and
there's an increase in limit. That's
definitely no question. No question.
There was a rash in Lakewood probably
three years ago and um he he had a
couple of tal that didn't have children.
He started making
sheim and
um I don't know how many got helped but
a nice couple of couples got helped. He
wrote us a letter. I I have
his he
said he wrote the story that I and
people got into it and you should know
they all he said a couple of you know
they got helped and he says he signed
him saying that it's that it's true.
Mhm. People ask you know we hear stories
you know we give out every every week
and not every week has a story. So
people said we need every week we need
you know it brings a minute brings it I
said I don't make up stories you know
every story we have it has to be
firsthand I cannot say one guy said that
that I have to you know firsthand and
you know we have to know who what the
name you know we don't write the names
but we have to know who who's this
person so I said I make up stories you
know we're not a money-m place you know
if we have a story you put it in but uh
you know we see every day every day we
hear stories you know and posa and gaze
this week somebody pulled up and um he
he gave money and I started telling him
you know this said don't you don't have
to tell me I saw many issues you don't
have to tell me anything I guess you
know some people have to say anything
but some people you have to explain you
know going back to the day the day the
said I mean I was on the phone the whole
day you know because you had these these
excuse me these and they tell you and
you know one
guy I mean it's it's hard to believe
what's going on but it's unfortunately
there's a lot a lot of problems out
there you know but is is one of the
biggest problems older boys and older
girls and I'm not a but I try to match
something I try to I try to do something
but Hashem should help this he promises
and uh you know I whenever I' I've
personally many issues whenever there's
something in the family I light I light
a candle
Imm works it works this is this what
you're doing full time now. I learned
the coil. I have full time. Where is
that? What do you learn?
I don't get paid, but I I sit there from
daytime. You dree times a day. You know,
it's right across the street. You know,
you mentioned
your she passed away three years ago.
Yeah. Three years ago. Three years ago.
And then then she helped me, you know,
she she you know, she she used to learn.
And she says, you know, where's
where's she children and you know, she
had a nice life. You know, she say, you
know, we said we we don't ask any
questions. You I'm sure that taking care
of taking care of her in the other
world. And then people ask me, did you
ever dream
of you ever dream? I said, I don't I see
him live all day. I don't have to dream
of him. I see him. I see him. I don't
have to dream of him.
But you know, it's it's it requires a
lot of time and a lot of requests.
People asking for pocket stars. I want
to have I want to go in my tal every
every day when I go someplace. I want to
have a I said we have to guildian. You
know I don't walk out. I have I have my
pocket you know I always keep it. I'm
coming to art school is you know this
way if you have any time you're able
to a little behind sometimes you know I
most of the stories I write up and I
send Israel and he he fixes it up. He
makes it to read. I I write you know it
and he he does some more research.
It sounds like there's a lot more work
to be done besides the art scroll
volume. Maybe the art scroll should be
put out as a gillion also for people to
be able to read on the go. I guess one
thing at a time. Yeah. One volume at a
time. And now somebody's giving out a
gillion from all the so the first one is
every week he gives out takes out from
there from the from the all the all the
all the all the promise if you learn
this. So it comes a separate new comes
out. It's
nice there's a lot to do and a lot to be
done and the should continue really and
like we said the main thing it's
learning it's not you know that's we're
learning we
have that that you know new color you
know without a computer without you know
everything was in his head you know it
was and
so we thank you thank you for your
efforts in building up the zeros
phenomenon this volume right here and
the whole set could very well not have
come to fruition without your efforts
together with Rabbi Seltzer a wonderful
arts school writer Zilber Zilberg I
don't know if there's anyone else you
want to mention I mention because he
really he really put in a lot of effort
I mean you know $60,000
in this 31 years ago 31 years ago you
know he put a lot of money a lot of
effort and bam you know you know I took
it over him but he still gets every
every every set we sell we give
Now we try, you know, now he's doing a
maf he's doing, you know, and you know,
if someone wants to look up a gum or
whatever, you could see it right away.
You know where it is. You know, there's
still additions. You know, we're going
to reprinted, right? I want to mention
also the house family sponsored this
volume and this is the
zam edition of that's leish wolson which
just passed out two weeks ago. Yeah, we
got them in right away. So there are
many many people stepping up to the
plate who
family they helped us out also they from
Toronto. Yeah. people you know like I I
I told you we start out as I was
involved in in the closing I was I was
on the board and people used my building
you said and they you know where we're
going to get money we don't get money
you know uh the bought st I st them he
bought a hospital they want a hospital
there was years ago so they say how you
build with money I can't tell you
whenever I did something I did without
money the same thing applies to this you
know how you build with money we don't
know but without money you know but
people come people every she is you know
there's so many things people want to
give you know we just want to you know
we have no time for so many things but
you know we got to finish you know what
we're doing and u there's always
constantly more and more stuff like I
say you know it's going to take you two
years to finish whole thing probably
yours also you know we just gave out a
volume mir on every parachute we gave
out two three we did you know with a p
same you did it in English we did it in
Hebrew but the demand is you know I want
to see everything I want to see more I
want to see more you know people People
are demanding, you know, they think it
comes ready and you put it in and it's
not. You know, we have to go over it. A
lot of work editing, you know, it's a
lot a lot of work, a lot of work, a lot
of work, a lot of money. Well, thank you
for your efforts to be and the should
give you
continued to be people. And that's
really you're bringing them, you're
bringing them, you should be benched
with. Thank you so much. And we look
forward to having you back again.
