I'm here at Tesla Cleveland where I just picked up my brand new 2026 Model Y, paying exclusively with Tesla referral credits and my credit card. We've been sharing the best deals online for the past 21 year on Dan's deals. And I knew that we could do better than buying a Tesla with cash. Right now, the government's giving a $7,500 tax credit for buying an EV that ends September 30th. If you're in healthcare, you also get $1,000 off of the car. Or if you're have a previous test, you also get another $500 off your Tesla. Plus, if you buy Tesla gift cards, you could pay for it with your credit card and apply that to your car. Now, when I was buying Tesla gift cards, I said, "It's not good for a new vehicle." So, I just tried out $500. I paid for it with my credit card and it let me apply it to the balance that I owed on my car. I bought another $35,000 of Tesla gift cards and then apply those to the balance of the car. And when I went to the dealership, I had a $0 balance, walked out with my car in five minutes. I was able to pay for the car all on credit cards that I used to open a bunch of credit cards, got a bunch of sign up bonuses, and then met those thresholds thanks to buying a new Tesla.
