And I think a lot of other people here too. If Tahill Army Thursday evenings are your highlight of the week, let me see. Show me whose highlight of the week it is. It's amazing. It's unbelievable to see. And I want to start off by telling you um that we have a very a very important and special program for tonight, but I want to tell you something that I heard over Pak. Um I don't want to call these people out, so I'm not going to say their name because I don't know if they're comfortable with knowing this, but I met someone on Pesak who told me that he lives in Lakewood. and he said that um he said moriri I want you to know that there are some people on your army program who deserve a shout out and I'm like of course everyone deserves a shout out on army right so we try to give as many shout outs as we can and hopefully at some point everybody will be able to get that personal shout out but he said no no no I need to tell you about my neighbor he said my neighbors um you know their family their parents like a lot of parents don't really love when their Kids use technology like you know use having too much we call it screen time where you're you know watching things a lot especially in when it's good weather especially since it fries your brain right so the parents um he said my neighbor's parents said you know what we're doing a like a contest in our family um if everyone in our family keeps to this contest the contest is that you could only go on screens like you can only do something with technology like we're doing right now, right? This is over technology. So if you're here, it's probably because your parents allow it. So hopefully, right? Um and they said you can choose one hour a week. One hour a week to go on technology. So whatever you want to do, whether it's I guess computer games or watch a video, whatever you want to do, you have one hour a week of technology. And he said, "I want you to know that my neighbor and their mother said, oh, the mother said, if you go um and follow this family plan of one hour week of technology, then you get to come to Eritis." Who wa that's a really good prize that they're going they're going to take a family trip to Israel or I guess the parents will take the kid. I don't know. Anyways, this girl, as you can probably guess, he said, "My neighbor um decided that her one hour a week of technology is going to be that hour or however long it takes of Helm army." She told her family, "I am dedicated to the Tahelm army and that is my 1 hour a week of technology." And wow, like that's what she chose. That's what she chose over any sort of entertainment that she can get because I don't know. and and and if this person wants to share publicly with us what why she made that choice, she can reach out to me and let me know and and maybe one day we'll hear it from her directly. But I said to this boy, I said, "Okay, your neighbor deserves a shout out." So, big shout out to you if you're listening wherever you are in Lakewood. Um, and if you're not with us, maybe your neighbor will tell you or whatever. Um, but I found that to be very, very inspiring, but not surprising because I've heard so many stories and I've seen so much dedication from incredible kids just like you from all over the world who are either with us live now or watching these recordings and saying to Helen with the recordings, mind you, you know, um, we have a lot of listeners. So, shout out to people in England who are going to be watching this on the recording whenever whenever I get around to posting it. Um and and it's very very very special that they prioritize and they don't just watch it for entertainment. They say to hill with us, they sing with us, dive in with us, whatever we're doing. So, thank you all for being here. And tonight, I also got a little bit of a disheartening message that means like a message that made me sad. Um and make sense. I think it's going to make you a tiny bit sad too or very whatever. Um, and this message was from an incredible mother, somebody from the Telm army, and she said, "My daughter loves tom army and and um she just found out that her cousin is 15 years old in Aratis and he was just hurt in a situation going on in our part of the whole war, part of the terrorism, part of why we need Mashiach and we're dabbing for him. So I'd like to have in mind tonight in our Yona Ben Shaina Rifka." Yona ben Shaina Rifka. Please give him a shima and peace in our and please so soon. Um we're going to do we're going to dab in of course for the hostage of the night who I'll say their name later. Um so keep yours nearby and we are so privileged tonight that in just a minute or two I am going to introduce our special guest named David Roberg um who is joining us live and we're going to sing with him. I don't know if you guys have been listening to a lot of ac cappella music. I just know that whenever we get in the car, within about probably two seconds, everyone says, "Put on music." So, we all like music and it's a little bit challenging sometimes to find music that's for Spara Omar. But we have an answer because David Roberg has put out his second harmony album with beautiful, beautiful song choices with some guest stars on it. So, I'm so excited that he's coming on tonight so we can meet the special person, the singer behind that album, we're going to get to him in one minute. So I actually I sing it I have this to sing in a lot of kasas in Baltimore. Um and it's a long drive from Pay. So every time I do there people say you you must live here, right? And I say no actually I live in Pay. Um so yeah that that throws some people off. Do you got a lot of speeding tickets? No. Oh I do. I got a lot of speeding tickets on the 95. Be careful when you're driving to Baltimore. There are cameras. I just know that if you're driving you probably make the drive a lot and you probably go when there's like no cars on the road. So, like it's so tempting and sometimes you literally go like two miles over and then you get a ticket in the mail and it's not fun. Um, but we are so happy to have you on tonight. I particularly, like you heard before, have been pounding your music on uh 246 in the car, whatever. And and and you you have a a beautiful voice, but you also have a very um you have a very good taste for good song choices to cover. and you kind of you kind of nailed all the songs that people want to hear and sing along with. Um I love to sing. I've always loved to sing even like when I was a little kid like I I would you know just sing for my family and I joined some choirs. Um, and like I always like it's it's like such a to be able to to sing and to to uplift um and to mazic people. Um, I I want to say it's so incredible what you guys are doing. Like you you guys are literally like holding up the world with youras like you know especially nowadays we need every single that we can get every single word. Um, and what you know what you guys what moriri what you guys are doing together is it's incredible. It's like really like I I'm like I get a lot of inspiration from it and I know that people all around the world are inspired by you guys. So So keep doing what you're doing. Um like really every single one of you should be like incredibly proud of yourself and and you know and proud of yourselves. It's it's it's really amazing. Um something I wanted to share about music is that it's so cool that music it can make you dance. You know, let's say you put on, you know, you put on a fast song and it can make you dance and and and you're excited. And it could also, you know, when you're domining, it could help you dive into Hashem. Like, let's say you're saying hala, um, you know, or Cabal Chavez, it could, you know, it could be something that connects you, you know, in in like a in like a inspirational way, like a in like a slow song way. So, it's so cool like like something like that could, you know, that could make you dance. It can make you go like crazy and just like be like super excited and and connect to Hashem in that way and it could also connect you to Hashem through. Um so this past week was the yard site of Rakari Wallerstein who was an incredible sadic. Um he he always like he made sure that there was schools for you know everyone had like a perfect school for them. Um and make sure everyone was happy and like he he viewed every he viewed every yid as like a beautiful nishama kind of like a butterfly like a butterfly is like you know it's supposed to soar and like you know and and he viewed every yid as as a butterfly. Um, and after he was nifter, Schulam Leur and Ab Rottenberg wrote a song called Butterfly. Um, and it's actually my cousin's favorite song, Mosha Barasi. Shout out Mosha Baraski. Um, so I want to start with that song. If you know the, you know, if you know the words, sing along. Um, so yeah, so I wanted to start with that. There are times when I stand by a mirror to take a close look at myself and the face that I see looking right back at me wishes it was someone else. But there only one you. A fragment of life from above that would joyfully serve and cling to [Music] a knew the depth of his love. Time to leave your cocoon, my dear butterfly, and show yourself in the world just how very high you can fly. You can soar once you unlock the door. And Hashem will be there at your side. You said I'm going to sing Butterfly. Is it too Is it too mature for kids? And I would like to say it is I mean, first of all, we're very mature. Who's mature here? Who's so mature? We're all very mature. Um and and yeah, so I I would like to say that kids these days, they like the same songs as adults. Like they do. Like I I know that my own kids like sing the same songs that I sing and and these other kids, they all they love this song. And um we actually me and my daughters, we went to record Butterfly at a recording studio just for ourselves. And and I'm not sharing that with everybody. Um but when I went the the the recording studio person told me, she's like, "Oh boy, you have no you have no idea how many kids already recorded this song." So obviously it's a song that talks to a lot of people's namas and and some every time I listen to it um we listen to it in the car today because we have a minhug in our family that when a guest on the tahel army is coming on we have to only listen to their music in the car that day. So we have did a lot of hakana for you tonight. And when we were listening to that song that you have on your album for the AC capella music, which you guys could hear later, um I was like, "Oh my gosh, I never thought about it." Um there are times when I look in the mirror to take a close look at myself and the face that I see looking right back at me wishes it was someone else. That's so And I paused it and I was like, "That's so sad. Imagine you looked in the mirror and you're like, I don't I don't want to be that person. How terrible would that be?" And my kids are embarrassed of me probably, but they were like, "Hey, ma, put it back on." But it's it's we should never feel that way. And if you do look in the mirror and you wish you were the cool girl next door or somebody else, you need to make sure that you remember that you're a butterfly. Okay, I'm going to be quiet now. Cheer us up now. So the second So the second song is by Morai Shapiro, Benny Friedman, and Matt Dub. It's called I'm sure a lot of you guys know this song. It's very popular atas. People love to to sing it during second dance. So, if you know the song, definitely sing along. Clap along. Um, okay. It goes like this. [Music] Zav Zac me Zimp. First of all, it's like a very catchy song and I'm sure a lot of you guys know this song. It's it's been very popular this year. Um and the high part, three of the words is our ojo. Um and it's, you know, it's very important like you know sometimes things are amazing. Sometimes things are harder to see. It's it's hard to see how amazing things are. But we know that Hashem loves us and we know that that you know and and and and it's easy to see that everything is amazing because if if it's happening it means that Hashem wants it to happen. So we say to it's it's all it's all for the good. It's you know gams tova and if we you know if we you know you know as we're doing and and it kind of connect it connects to like what we're doing right now. We're saying to him and we're doving to Hashem and we say that like you know Hashem knows what's best best for us and whatever happens it's you know it's all going to be good. And if we if we tell ourselves this then then you know every moment is going to be amazing because we know that it's it has you know it has its its purpose and we know why it's happening. And I find that say start starting off to after a good dancing energy and then sitting down with our tollim really grounds us and starting off with a smile also grounds us. So we're going to we're going to do that right now. And um David I I so appreciate you coming here. I have one follow-up question to something that you mentioned earlier. Which choirs were you in? Like a Payic boy choir? Like what what was the choir? So there's a choir in Bay called Kenu. Um okay. So we did there's two different choirs. One we used to do like performances in like different nursing homes and that was that was amazing. There was the the like the spectators. They loved us. they like they look forward to every performance and and sometimes we did concerts in like the local like the like the Y like it's like a it's like a a like a big auditorium and we have like the like the cool fancy vests and like you know we have dance moves and and everyone looks forward to having a solo so that was that was like really that was awesome. Is that did you feel like you you got like a lot of um like confidence from that as a kid? Yeah, for sure publicly. Yeah, it just it shows you that that you like sometimes you're nervous beforehand and you might think like, you know, I can't do this, but as soon as you walk off the stage, you're like, I I did it. I could like, you know, if I could do this, I could do anything. Exactly. And I think also that's really really nice. A lot of kids do not have enough opportunities to um to make older people happy to communicate with them to see that they get so much pleasure from especially interacting sing watching enjoying singing from young kids. So, I want kids out there to take note that if you have a nursing home near you or an older person that you know, your Zadeie or your friend's grandmother or somebody that could appreciate a warm smile and some singing, they're the best audience cuz you don't even have to I mean, you happen to have a good voice, but you don't even have to have a good voice to make them happy sometimes. Sure. They love every little Can I ask you something that's been on my mind? Sure. Um, I've been thinking, this is really weird, okay? And and kids out there, I want you to think about this also. When I was little, I used to go visit the nursing home a lot actually. Um, and we I would go a lot of times on Aros Shabas. And then when I started to drive, I would drive my siblings to the nursing home and we would visit um people in Muny. There was a place called the Fountain View. So, it wasn't very scary. It was more of an assistant living. So, it wasn't so scary for us to like ease into like getting to know old people and we would walk around and we had all these friends there. Um, and we would sing songs to them like I'm not going to sing them but you are my sunshine and and then we would sing some like old ones like Hava Nagila like that kind of thing. So, I was like telling someone I was asking someone the other day I'm like when I'm an old lady and and and people come visit me what are they going to sing to me? What are they going to sing? Cuz I don't want them to sing hava and you are my sunshine. What do you think David? What are they going to sing? Yeah. I think I think really like like whatever song is like you're like you're you're but from this time like they're going to say that's what we're going to sing in the nursing home. All the people from our generation they're going to sing that task. What do you think? I think I think like whatever song whatever song like you're in the mood of in that moment that's what they're going to sing. Yeah. But it's going to be like what do you think it's going to be? It's going to be something from now, right? What are the songs they're going to sing then? Yeah. What's the first song that comes to your head? Maybe maybe Hashem or like Oh, that's Yeah. I see that and it's a haig day because um it's a hyd because today is the 100th yard site that means exactly a hundred years ago we there was a big talc who was nifar named Rav Shia Ben Rav Mosha from Krister and I got two different messages today from Krister number one people well first I'll tell you that on this day um today and the whole week there have been tons of Jews especially since it's the 100th yard site which is like a very monumentous number um and Rafila or Rafia Ben Rav Mosha um he he was buried in Kristier and he was a big sadic and people dav go there to davin for things all of the time but especially this week people have been storming the cover from all all over the world. Um, and I got two different messages from people today alone with pictures. I'll show you the pictures. One of them came from um, someone here in Baltimore and the other one came from somebody in Muny and they both wanted me to see that they brought um, their Tahillim army to with them to car to the Kev of Rav Shia Ben Mosha. And the reason why that's so it it's so incredible is because it's not kids. It was their fathers. So their fathers took the Incredible Kids to Helen because this Incredible Kids that was probably used by the kids in their family has so much kaduca and it's such a good toll because it's like so easy to read and it's such a perfect size and it's such a special safer that they chose to bring this safer. And then literally right after that, I got another message from another incredible kid's father that says, "All the way in Kristier by Rabb Shya's yard site." Another one. So then I I texted the other one. They're eating food there. I don't know. They're not diving in this picture. Oh, and then hold on. And then I got another picture from the same guy. He wanted me to see that he was really domining. He was dabbing so hard with the incredible kids to heal him that he he was dabbing so hard that you know like you know when you're dabbing so hard you have to like put your like I'll show you what I mean like sometimes someone's dabbing like this and they're like they're like in it and they're crying and they're focusing on the words and then they just need to put their head down and cry or or really connect and think. So then they go like this and then they like put their head on the thing and then then whatever happens in their hand is because they're in a trance and this man was in such a trance from his felos that he he didn't even realize that his incredible kids to him was upside down. Can you see that? I don't know if you could see it. One second. Hold on. You see the upside down Incredible Kids to Hill right by the cover of Rabia Ben Mosha. Okay. I really hope that he was doveting for all of Kalisrael. And hopefully with all these felos, we're going to see big things big things happen for the Jewish people. Um, okay. Maybe it was imitating me or maybe it was um making your own like interviewing your sister on her bed about her life. like I get the the most adorable and creative videos from you guys. So, you have to think of that yourself and you have to think of your own creativity. And I'm not giving a lot of rules for it because I I find that especially when I was teaching in the classroom, if I gave too many instructions, like if I said, "Okay, everyone, we're doing a project and you need to do it exactly like me. You have to use a pink paper. You need to cut it into the shape of a heart and you need to use a stamp to do this and this." I felt like it made people very nervous and they were always like, "Is it good? Is it good? Does it look like is it supposed to be like this?" this and I was like, it's supposed to be arts and crafts, so you could do whatever you want. And that's why I didn't really give a lot of instructions. And I would say, we're going to make cards today and you could use any materials that you want. And they knew, my students always knew they could take whatever they want. So for this, I'm doing the same type of thing. So I want you guys to use your imagination and creativity. If you have to make a one minute video and you need somebody to watch it and be convinced why they should give a million dollars to Incredible Kids, well, how good is your video? You have to be making a very convincing argument. Why? What's so special about Incredible Kids? Why do you Why do you want Why are you raising money, right? Where's the money going to go? And you have to show that in a video. So, interview your bus driver. Do whatever you have to do. Okay. Ask Berlin and Brahabash. and Incredible Goodmans. Are you ready for the raffle? Um the other thing that I wanted to say is that you guys heard last week when Arya Consler was on that we announced that there is an unmuted show that's happening on June 24th in the Ritz Theater in Elizabeth, New Jersey, which is not too far from New York and everything's far from Baltimore. So I will be back on the highway trying not to get a speeding ticket. um and it's the kind of thing that people are actually like coming in for obviously if it works for their family. Um people already told me that they're planning to come in from different places for it. So June 24th so far all I said is that Arya Conser will be there but I also released some more information this week that we are going to have the Meny Hersitz band which is the best band ever plus plus you guys remember Simha on wheels. Who remembers Natan cats from Sima on wheels? Anyone was back here on Hill Army when he was on? He's so much fun and he was like doing a dance party with us here on Tah Hill Army. You guys remember? Yeah. So, he's going to be at the show doing the funnest things. I can't think of a more mature word to say right now than funnest. Doing the most fun things throughout the event. Doing activities, games, crazy challenges throughout the show. So, there's going to be singing, there's going to be fun, there's going to be ruach, there's going to be a all the fun things. And I can't wait to tell you more information because there are so many amazing singers joining. And I'm going to let you guys know when you need to know.
