Injured Israeli Soldiers Receive Plane Ride Lakewood after Meeting with Mayor and Deputy Mayor

only the last three years every year I organized for a big group of soldiers today's three but that time it is what's like 2015 so I organized that kid turned airplanes together the nation tonight taking books there so I did always many years wearing pandemic stuff and I moved to Lakewood exactly that time I finished there's always a organization like doing something then people calling me yeah what about what you guys again I did also a lot of reading this pilot this is always something somebody from Airline come and the lecturer game tickets not worth it oh this event he will start today yes really much bigger but now he's okay so yesterday for the night I check in my computer I see picture of events that I did 2018. it is about one soldier one of the group are Soldier it wasn't special force and he gets blind from home in Gaza to get black notary blind in the tunnels you know they're in like tunnels so he tried to attack they drive they they try to keep that social bus it was uh we call him Colonel Miller these days Burger Island Mission support so these guys yeah so this guy is so we asked him to say his story he just wasn't Long Island it starts the same story everybody else foreign yesterday night I opened the computer and I see his pictures and I said to my wife prepared to find these others to see what's going on so I said I'm so sorry I came late and you are I am Robert okay [Music] but today I'm not the deputy mayor today I'm actually coming from Dover Air Force Base yeah that's where like that's where I'm serving right now so I'm not here in the shock Ed and he told me he gets married what and I have two kids you make my day I'm going to television I'm going to be there this summer I'm going for recruiting for the Air Force I would love to start halfway up what kind of playing with this anything [Music] so I said oh and this is so I asked to climb over the cloud we always come back to the soldier everyone every one of us are from the same Brigade but for another year okay I mean the oldest here then the kids unfortunately every one of us was you know in something like a war or something like this some of that he was in Gaza in Lebanon I was in the in Juden Samaria in the territories and working this Camp everyone was like you know uh injured in a another situation but to protect you know the the Israel citizens in our country and we already here for modern week uh talking and trying to make the connection between Israel and the diaspora and um hello Brigade and um [Music] and I I fought in there in it's called in Hebrew in English it's operation protective Edge which was a it was a war between Israel the Hamas is a terrorist organization so I led the Brigade into a neighborhood called such a it's a Jaya it's like the Hamas Bay like they were the most the the neighborhood the most terrible you know the best units that they have so I literally get into this neighborhood in order to not clear that they're able to sell it after a long night we got into an ambush and my vehicle just stalled in the middle of the neighborhood they then they they launch a rocket now Fiji which killed seven of my soldiers and I was the only one to survive yeah and and so I guess today both my legs we got into an ambush and then an RPG rocket launched in both my leg because they after the explosion they started shooting yeah it was a very early fire and explosion and Flame that came out of the vehicle and so I got we put both my legs strapped in my arm and back so I fell on the ground I didn't have anyone so I was alone my weapon flew away I couldn't move and make my legs were paralyzed my left arm was paralyzed and so I just lied on my on my back can't move and file back huge explosions and I was by myself in the middle of Sanjaya and then after few seconds I realized that this incident maybe it's about you know kidnapping maybe like the one thing that they want the most is to kill the soldiers so I pulled out the Olive and weapon I have left it was a head grenade inside of my bed and I pulled it out and I put it next to my chest with my finger on the safety catch and and I just waited and I said myself the second some one of them will try to take me I will explore myself up with this and and I don't know it's nothing that no one teaches it's funny because we share it the same story and all I always tell it it's nothing like no one teacher teaches us that if you get to this situation you have to get a grenade and explore yourself it's very extreme even even for a walk and then I made proven and maybe it's not that it's different because something is very similar and with grenade and then after a few hours I was evacuated to the hospital and just to realize that seven of my soldiers were killed I didn't know I knew it only when I came to the hospital and then because they haven't checked the whole time no I was away no I was away doing the time and until the surgery yesterday was the world the first time you're like and was unconsciousness and then I started my Rehabilitation process which I will show that it will it will be one or two weeks because you know I'm I'm an office here in the ground Brigade I'm half God so actually I stayed in hospital for one year and at first I was very nice to bed then I moved to the wheelchair and then you actually are walking yes what yeah we have yeah and after one year I decided that the best Rehabilitation for me is join back the army so I decided to join back to the Army but I couldn't be in you know a company officer so I decided to be an educator in a military academy which trains High School boys and girls to become the next generation of quality officers so my theory was playing them like during the day they go to Rebel at school very good one and then after the after school after school day they come to this Academy and and they trained to be and and one of my soldiers actually maybe you heard about him is the OWN showroom you know one show was was the soldier and it was kidnapped back in this town in his incident so as I said seven seven of them killed one of them . it's like if this is a vehicle so they launched the rocket let's say from here to the vehicle I stood up here and one was taken from here so when I was injured I I filed back I fell on my back here and the terrorists they came from like this from this building here they took one so they just need to do like two more steps and then they could see me hear the angel and they took them at the beginning of the injury no at the same time I I lived with dick vanade they took on at the same time how much more time I couldn't hear them because of the explosion and everything or something like that total including the evacuation because I had to attack it myself to a Lemon Grove I started falling but let me grow under Fire until they saw one of my soldiers and together we were able to to court support yes it's an opportunity to be here
