[Music] two years ago the safe Foundation together with hatala flush and with the support of our community rabbis put together a comprehensive program sounding the alarm to inform and educate our community about the dangers of fentanyl this 90minut program was viewed over 20,000 times it's difficult to watch but it's an absolute must sadly recent tragic events in our community have reinforced the fact that we need to continue to sound this alarm to educate our community members about these dangers there's a misconception that this is a problem that doesn't affect us it's out there it affects America but it doesn't affect our community that misconception is false this is a problem that is affecting people we know on streets that we live on it does not discriminate rich or poor popular or unpopular religious or not so much so fentol is a problem that reaches all of us I really want to strongly encourage everyone to re-watch this program in its entirety if you have the opportunity to do so regardless over the next few weeks safe is going to be putting out clip CS from this video I'm urging you take this opportunity play these clips with your children play these clips with your loved ones have the difficult conversation around your table at some point I can assure you your child is going to be faced with the decision do I take this pill or do I not make sure they have the information that allows them to make the proper decision one silly wrong misguided mistake could be the last mistake they ever make my goal tonight is not to instill fear and panic my goal is to raise awareness and Inspire conversation between Father and Son parent and child sibling to Sibling friend to friend spouse to spouse fortunately our community has several Social Service organizations ations that stand ready to help with the problem of course the safe Foundation but there's also saf and Sim that are prepared to deal with mental health issues please don't be ashamed or afraid or hesitant to reach out call Safe call sbh call simha call us for guidance and advice at how to get help for that person thank you so much for hearing me out it's my sincere hope and wish I never have to make a video of this kind ever again enjoy your vacations with your family on winter break and stay safe [Music]
