How to LIKE your child (and not just LOVE them)

breaking the pattern means making a unilateral decision to feel good about somebody that is giving you a lot of excuses to feel bad now if you try to avoid the spiritual approach and you just take a secular approach and say okay well I might not like this quality of my kid but let me look at that other quality that's a temporary fix but if you want a real fix a holistic fix that will deal with every situation at every time really the only way is to focus on that spiritual value of that child and when you can really do that then you can actually cherish being in the presence of somebody whose behaviors are bothering you we can actually feel those two things at the same time we can cherish being in the presence of somebody whose behaviors are currently bothering me and in fact not only can we feel both of those things at the same time but we can choose which one of those is more pronounced is stronger
