What’s with Europe’s tiny coffees ? - A Jewish Lesson

[music] >> I'm in Europe and I wake up this morning and I make this coffee. Look at this coffee. This is my entire coffee. It's two drops. [music] In America, this is what they use to clean the coffee machine. In America, you don't drink a cup of coffee. You drink a bucket of coffee. Here's the funny thing. It's the exact same amount of caffeine. [music] America just adds 47 gallons of water and oat milk and ice and whipped cream. Europe says, "You Why just Why add all that? Just give me the concentrated rocket fuel and let me go on my day." And perhaps that's slichos. >> [music] >> There's certainly an importance to saying all the words of slichos, but it's important to remember that Hashem doesn't count words. He measures concentration. Some people in Elul drink the American coffee. Hours of slichos [music] super fast, half asleep, zero kavana, lots of water. Some people say less words, but behind those words are the [music] concentrated Hashem, I messed up, I want to come back. It's pure espresso. Same caffeine.
