Why Does God Hide From Us? Darkness, Exile, End of Days, World Peace & Messianic Era

we are approaching the three weeks a time period that represents really the hardest and most said times for the Jewish people 6,000 years we're approaching the amount of suffering remounted heard the amount of bloodshed the amount of tears are we can't even keep track of can count and one might ask himself why what is it all for how come why do we have to go through this you know and it's not an easy answer there is no easy answer you know what I would like to touch on is from a more positive note where we're headed what is this all about 6,000 years to thousands of college-wide why we going through this and what can we take out of this period in the time that we mourn the Corbin abaya to the destruction of the Masonic - and how can we be prepared and take something this time that will help change us and maybe maybe change us enough that won't be you next time so I'd like to start with a story that you know I think it's a great story I kind of wrote it you know it's so so empowering to be able to just like write you're also because you could control it whatever happened whatever you want to happens what happens that's amazing not so with life because I wanted to be slim and handsome and I'm and I'm just handsome I mean here's the story it's a muscle imagine the moment we've been waiting for for thousands of years for so long what moment is that yeah the Messiah is here and you're getting the whatsapp's and the emails and the G whatever you call them and it's just the news is spreading like wildfire but like like my posts on social media nobody's paying attention you know or like not too many people paying attention how many times can I like my own post so in this story I guess since you know everyone's so busy with I don't know what anymore but busy they didn't even realize okay they they got they got the whatsapp they got the post today but they didn't pay enough attention that said that's it big party tonight but big party night I'm still across from last night who's got time for big parties and I'm I'm tired you know and I'm broke that I spent all my money they didn't realize they said no mushiya party tonight he's here five or six thousand years get dressed get ready and come down to the sudha the great Leviathan so this is what we've been waiting for we've been promised by the sages so of course I'm a nerd I'm bored I don't know nothing I'm home you know waiting for such good news and I'm dressed up with my suit and it's like tonight I'm we're gonna tie you don't wear a tie it's for you guys I wore one so I'm ready I get dressed I go to this party and I see a few other nerds like me you know big beards little bits no beards but with this unique unique uniting factor of all of us is we had nothing better to do so we're there at this party and so we're looking around like you know and of course we're also very Eskenazi so it's like listen parties say they said the party starting at 9:00 it's it's 9:30 and I don't hear no music I don't have no orders with Colombian and so you know and I didn't say it because it's a you know it's a big very special party you know Shemin was there so I don't want to speak so loudly within that chef's presence so I was thinking it and I think a few other people was faking it and all of a sudden the big voice calls out and a chef actually answering my thoughts and I guess the other people's thoughts and said you think I'm gonna start this party mushiya and all my children are not here go out and get them and bring them back then we'll start the party based on that story I'd like to tell you now a true story there was an amazing amazing incident we all heard about the Special Olympics where you know handicapped children have an opportunity to get together and compete and in sports and race and all that it's a beautiful thing in 1976 during your marathon race about a 100-yard dash so one Chevron was lined up nine runners and they began for their March they're there a chance for greatness you know it's not easy to win a gold medal boom the gun fires and one of them is out in front and he hears a cry he turns back to look and sees that one of his friends fell and is heard on the ground so without hesitating he turns around to go help his friend and another one sees him turning around he notices one he also turns around and so they all one by one all these racers turn around to help their friend that felt and there was the pain they help him up and together in arms they cross the finish line as one together as a group and that's how that race ended and it's an amazing race because you had nine winners you really had nine winners because for one guy to win a race that's what we're used to you know the race of life were running running and we don't help the one behind us so that he should also succeed we actually step on him because that's how we got in front of him if we stepped on him to get where we are we don't think about oh let me help the one that needs a bit more help you know we're so selfish minded that it's about me me me and you know I don't have a moment to spare and I don't have one ounce of energy to help him because it's all gotta be for me because I gotta win gotta be on top this funny thing is that if you know if I can help him and we both get ahead then we're both winners that's what people just are too you know too distracted to notice to realize so it's these special kids who are truly special that have a perspective on life that's different because of their challenges and and they're able to see what really matters you know the inanimate objects around us that we could fill our life with in the end they're all dead life comes within us now you have a living person next to you with a heart with a soul with emotions with feelings him you'll step on for that piece of metal let's make any sense so the lesson I took from the story first lesson I took is the amazing ability to see through the illusion and the facade of the last we get caught up racing through and realized that the most valuable thing in your life are the living people around you and what you can do for them or they could do for you and unfortunately and you get it wrong you can hurt them and that hurt is real and they carry on for a long time and unfortunately ruins people's lives we ruin people's lives without a second thought agreed ego you name it we ruin our own life [Music] I want to take this idea once one step further when you think of it this race of life that we're on this race to the finish line the six thousand he erased to thousands of gulleson why it has God taken away our base enemy - why is he hiding himself from us why are we in darkness why do we suffer so much pain in sorrow and see Jewish blood spilling like crazy and it's hurtful it's painful but we know that God loves us and all that we're going through ultimately is going to lead us to this unbelievable amazing finish line we have the life that we've been dreaming I've been waiting for this perfect world where there's peace harmony where we reach out perfection and we have a sham back again with us in this final base I mean that which will be the most incredible edifice that will never be destroyed I was in a in a Torah less than one time was very smart very gifted you know genius Russia Shiva and he was asked that question right one of the only ones they asked him what would be if the second base immigrants was never destroyed in the answer the shocking surprising question to me it got me thinking and really affected me even till today he said to him and everyone else there he said if that second base image was never destroyed then we'd still be stuck in that building and I can imagine what are we being stuck in the base of it - it's because the third base I make - and this world that we're waiting to to reach is going to be so much better so much more perfect that it makes where we were considered being stuck and so we the deeper appreciation of the horror and abaya the destruction of the temple is not really the idea of a destruction it's the idea of construction it's the rebuilding of the third base Tomic - which will be an eternal basin because you have to get rid of the second one I'll have the third one and the difficulties that we go through is really part of the building process it's a Shems way of building this perfect world so it's beyond our full understanding but we have to have the Emunah to know that everything we go through is what makes us the person will be in the end and that person is going to be the person that I Shem had in mind and that will be best so we can ever be so again getting back to this race of life how do we win this race so you could be the biggest object you could be a rich man you can have all the things you desire in life you could be a very holy man praying all day learning all day you could win your race on a personal level you could be across the finish line but that doesn't mean this game over that doesn't mean my shock is you that's not the end of the race the race for the final end line that we're waiting for the race for Messiah is the race we can only win together as one together we will win that race we'll get across that finish line and we'll have machines and a sham back but by myself I can't win that race I can be I can cross the finish line alone but Cobb yellow and where does that leave me this story of life is not a story about me the story about we together we with loving kindness and concern for our fellow making room for the next
