What Happens when Mashiach Comes and How to Bring Him - Rabbi Mendel Kessin

I'd like to speak tonight um just really two things one is since you know everybody's looking at the elections of America you know with such vaded breath and so on so I just want to mention a couple of ideas which to me they're very important uh and also to talk about certain Concepts uh to clarify certain Concepts uh before I begin again this year should be a blessing and a merit for the health and success of the families of Regina Bas Ru and wolf [Music] Ben Wolf they should have an alyah because of the sh and also estoo yafa right she should have refa uh okay first idea last week I talked about something which is really very important obviously uh and I mentioned that when you look at the you know it's important for me really to say [Music] something that I I'm not avertising you know in terms of uh uh my political preferences that's not what this year is all about you know what I see my function as basically is to in some way deal with the tremendous confusion and also the disheartening of people when they take a look at what's happening so I I feel my responsibility is to share with you what I see as the uh Divine agenda how all of this really is foretold and makes sense based on the Divine agenda you know so it's not that I am for necessarily a person his policies which which of course I am on a personal level that's not the purpose of the share purpose of the she is really like I said to explain how all of this makes sense based on the divine plan of creation and with that I hope to what's called to strengthen reinforce uh the belief in God that there is a Supreme Being and also to trust God and also to realize that all things will in the end uh end in a very good way that there will be a Redemption that all this if you want to look at it you know craziness that's going on in the world all of this will ultimately end and there will be a time which is really Eternal of a glorious and unending uh an infinite uh state of being and so on and that's really what I want to focus on uh but taking just taking off from the last week when I said that there's really a terrible zero and I'm not going to repeat last week's year obviously but uh going into the ideas there are certain things which I see as miraculousness you see and uh to show you that God is always on our side he's on the side of redemption which really is a very important idea uh and if you know just to mention there Yim I think it's section yes and it's uh section 500 uh where it says that God is mat to the Yeshua to the Gula that God looks forward to the Redemption itself you shouldn't think that you know sometimes it becomes uh we begin to feel that well maybe God doesn't want Redemption why is it so delayed and so on but as I point out tonight some of the ideas but that is not what's happening in many ways God looks forward tremendously anticipates the Redemption itself like I say we shouldn't think that he's whole home about the whole thing and he just wants to see this uh extending and continuing all this misery and so on and keep everybody up in with tension and depression and so on no uh he looks incredibly forward to the Redemption itself and that Redemption will bring him infinite joy and pleasure as we will experience itself when it does happen and so on and that the medish actually says that [Music] that is means looks forward to the Redemption you know I sometimes use the example was I mean to look forward you know so imagine if you haven't taken a vacation in many years or imagine uh you tell a 10-year-old kid you know uh that by the way we're planning a trip uh to uh let's say although it's today it's changed radically but Disney World in Orlando Florida and the kid like he can't believe it and he looks forward he counts the days that this will happen and that's we can feel that incredible emotional excitement when that comes in that sense even though doesn't really have emotions but his behavior is such where that's what he looks forward to with that unbelievable emotional anticipation of the Redemption itself in any case there are you know there is several things going on which I just wanted to point out and that is number one that we we see that certain things are happening that clearly promote that good will happen uh and this is what it seems and so on even though when we take a look at what's happening certainly in America with the possibility that this woman you know Harris and her vice president pick this guy Tim wals and so on that they may win that's what it looks like and that's very hard to understand and so on right because there's no question that they are tremendous anti-semites and that will be the worst thing not only for Israel but for America cuz they will destroy this country but that because that's how really incompetent they are I'm not even saying that they wish evil which is probably what they do wish to change America to assume power and and uh and glory and so on but certainly it's very bad for America and that is happening but what the russan did something very interesting which in many ways is shocking many of the statisticians and the uh politicians hold that she needs Pennsylvania the state to win Pennsylvania in order to win the presidency and whoever will get Pennsylvania will win the presidency so the astounding thing is that she knows that I'm sure her statisticians or poers told her that yet she rejected the politician or the governor of Pennsylvania it's guy Josh Shapiro which I find astounding why because first of all she should have chosen Shapiro who's a much better governor and would have been a much greater candidate for VP for vice president than this guy Tim Waltz no question about that and he's tremendously liked in Pennsylvania so she could have assured herself a tremendous victory in Pennsylvania if she would have chosen him the governor as a vice president a candidate she didn't so that self is astounding the second thing is that had she chosen him to Sky Shapiro he's Jewish and that would certainly have guned her tremendous amount of the Jewish vote CU a lot of Jews would have voted for her just because she chose the vice president to was Jewish she didn't do that not only that but chapiro is very well liked in Pennsylvania whereas Tim W is an incredible Progressive radical leftist one of the worst of all I don't want to go through what he's done to a state of Minnesota and so on but she picked a person that is incredibly controversial and Incredibly far left so he's a much worse candidate in terms of what he'll do to the United States even as a vice president and even if you want to argue well vice president basically does nothing anyway he just Waits until the president dies but could you imagine if she won Harris won and she died he would become president you have any idea what that would mean for America it would mean the end of America basically so you have to always consider vice president and one of the criteria is how would he how would he do as a president so she chose a guy who is left or so radical left that he's one of the most radical left of the entire uh Congress cuz he was a congressman and so on in any case so she picked a person that was tremendously disliked and the fact that both of them are so radically left is something which is against her so it seems that she picked a tremendously bad choice for uh vice president now all of this is B my feeling is is Ram took away her Free Will in know to make sure that she loses so that's a very important idea also what is very important which I had mentioned briefly a while back is Israel the arav mixed multitude those people who believe that the essence of cell is not Terror well we're a Middle East Country we have to emulate all the other countries of the world in terms of the modernism and so on that they are against the supremacy or the Primacy of T itself they have now declared war against judism the the traditions of Judaism the belief in God and Judaism and so on because they have now declared that if the who want to learn ter and yes don't go to the Army then the government will not give any money neither to them or to the yeshivas that is war against the teror and not only that what I've been told is that they' have taken away Child Care from the women of these who learn uh and not to give them money if the husbands don't go to the Army so therefore if they don't have child care then they can't go to work so at least they used to rely on their wives to uh work but if they don't get child care then they cannot go to work so how in the world can they support themselves and they can't so this really is a gauntlet a glove in the face of theum but it's much greater it's a war against God cuz they know what it says in the Bible the Torah the value of tah what it means and it's astounding to watch Jews who have absolutely no fear of God and the retribution that will happen to them as a result of what they're doing and both of these things are happening simultaneously an enormous threat to Judaism and the Terah itself in is real uh to such an extent where gum Great Men of uh Israel uh Judaism in Israel have to come to America to raise funds and so on so that enormous threat one of the greatest threats that Jews can face is the prohibition of learning Terror and you have to go to the Army that's basically would be the end of tra if that ever happened cuz the Army itself is a vehicle to make a Jew and Israeli even Boran recognized that uh if I remember correctly that's what he said best way to make anybody Jewish in the state of Israel and Israeli send it to the Army right and in many ways the Army is used not just to protect Israel the IDF but also to get Jews to change to weaken their belief in God and to uh in many ways to sin and to become a modern person and so on in any case both are happening simultaneously which tells me that like I said last week there two weeks ago that there's a tremendous Krug a tremendous prosecution in heaven and the Su is gone wild because when the ghula comes he's dead he's finished and he knows that that we are at the brink of this happening of the Redemption itself and that is why he's going bananas as they say that's why he's going he's hysterical he'll do anything on one side to declare war against the terror and Judaism and God in Israel and to destroy America which is really to destroy the the good part of asov which is basically Donald Trump which I've said many times and so on cuz Trump when he becomes president will change America for the good just like he did when he was president for four years so that is really very important to consider you see but don't minimize the threat that both countries are under under now and like I say we have to hope and pray that the xer against the Jews the decree against the Jews and the continuity of the satanic Empire will not continue and I'll comment a little on that later and so on which is very important what I do want to say also is the following you know what exactly do we witness it's very interesting to think about something you know you can ask a question what brings the Messiah what do we have to have that will actually bring him what are the requirements that he needs to come and that's what I'd like to talk a little about so on you know but what happens when the mhia does come and so on well we are going to witness several things several events one is the power of God you know we we read about it we believe in it but what is the power of God wouldn't it be incredible to see what he can do and to what extent he can do it uh the second thing is not just the power but when he actually executes his power we now see the might of God not only his potential but his actual his enormous capacity to alter that which we cannot even imagine that's his might all of these things will be visible and Apparent at the Redemption itself and then once he exhibits his might we see his glory the glory of what he accomplishes as a result of his might that's the unbelievable glory of God and then finally with the coming of the glory itself we then we then begin to truly see what's called his majesty right the type of being that he is you see and there's something about him about the but God that we do not understand now and we'll only get to really see it in the future okay the Majesty of God what is the Majesty of God and that is his authority you know people in in a position of power they have different levels of authority which means that well if they want to do something are they authorized can they do it or do they have opposing forces and therefore for something to get done then that person needs a higher level of authority you see if you think about it I just want to make comments about this because it's really a lengthy idea the authority of God what he can do because that's what he wants to do is beyond comprehension it's unfathomable that's the level of his authority it's called absolute there is nobody or nothing that God has to talk with okay or oppose to do what he wants to do even a king does not have absolute Authority certainly a president doesn't have that he has to answer to the Congress to the Supreme Court and so on so all these although these people are very powerful president has executive Authority and executive orders and so on but he has a minimal he has a certain amount of authority it's not absolute you see even a king who's a dictator okay or who's a totalitarian person so on right it would seem that he has also absolute Authority but he doesn't because his level of authority is very limited it's limited to a rebellion against him the people you know they can Rebel which they have done many times to many kings and so on and so on or he's limited by his own physicality he could die right get a heart attack disease whatever so they may have more Authority but they're limited but I'll tell you something interesting ultimately speaking the nature of God we say that God is the only thing that exists what does that mean there is nothing else but God period you see but really it's deeper than that it's not that God is the only thing that exists which is a besides God there's nothing else well if there's nothing else so what's the problem that's the highest level of authority right there's no opposition whatsoever and anything that looks like opposition has to be created itself to be in opposition so obviously that being does not exist it has to be created but what's interesting is that it's not that God is the only thing that exists the totality of existence is only God we don't understand that and know there nothing really exists at all besides God therefore there's nobody else but God you have to understand what the reality totality is that that's all that really exists is a being called God so that is the greatest form of authority you see and that we will see in in the future world well the question is did we see any of this uh these ideas the power the might the glory and even the Majesty yes we did there was a historical event that happened what is that that's Egypt right we saw the power of God that was the first Insight that the Jewish people had but that power was manifest because of the marus the plagues or blows that Egypt went through God uh instituted 10 marus right to Egypt and but they were physical markers so we saw the incredible power of God that he has dominion over a physical world you see and the creatures in it with the lies and the animals the Locust and so on I mean we cannot even imagine the limits of that physical power and there are no limits that's when we saw the power of God what he could do Visa the physical world right physical world and also the extent of the beings that he has power over then when we saw him actually doing it cuz the Jews witnessed that he was actually doing this that's the might the actual might of God I mean when you see a you know you see imagine you're seeing some guy lift 800 lb weight and you actually watch him doing it you are viewing his might which is awesome to see it actually done then you have the glory of God right the glory of God is it was done I mean Egypt look like a wreck after it was done and that is any ways the glory of God you see but they didn't really get to see the Majesty of God cuz the real Majesty like I said is exhibited only in the future world but there was a Majesty that they did see it was a cement of majesty where was that well it's interesting in that in we DAV this in shakas it says and God saved the Jews right that's what it says and all the nations and the Jewish people saw all the dead of Egypt at cus yamu and then it says and they believed in God I'm sorry why does not say before right if you somebody see somebody right bring on lice and turn the Nile River to blood I don't understand so that's when you don't believe in God well that's not convincing enough that's rather hard to believe right but the truth is it does convince but only at an inferior level why because look May m raenu head of the Department of magic you see cuz all of them in a certain sense or some of them these are physical acts that have been demonstrated by other people so therefore there is a belief but it's they saw what Ezekiel the prophet who wrote the fundamental text of Caba the mmer cover right the Divine Chariot they saw into the upper worlds they didn't see the physical worlds just likees the Novi he was a prophet he saw the spiritual worlds wait wait a minute nobody can go there right we who can believe in that we've never seen it so what they saw and it says there that a mate servant saw more thanc saw in his prophetic trance you imagine that but what did he see he was a prophet he saw the upper world the spiritual worlds right which PR and certainly AIA they saw that wait a minute this isn't Magic this is impossible you see that Bel is that's when they realize that there is a God that is so Superior to other creatures that it's off the charts that's why it only says that by Kus yamu and not before you see but was that the greatest Vision that they had no M Tura we don't realize what the Jews saw in M Tora it wasn't only that they got the Tora but they saw something beyond that and there's a reason for that Rashi says you know you have been shown that you may know that theam is the Lord the absolute Lord besides God there's nothing else this isn't I think it's in whatever one of the worlds wait a minute they saw far more than the spiritual worlds they saw in a certain sense what we will see in it was called what's called a it's a reflection they saw the Majesty of God at the giving of the Torah in fact the view that they had was so great that they all died the med says and God had to resurrect them that is what they saw his majesty that he's the only thing that exists not that he's the only thing that has existence right there's nobody else but him but he's the only thing that exists at all therefore there's nothing else he is the totality of existence there is nothing else and the truth is there's even a deeper idea that even the concept or the phenomenon called existence doesn't exist cuz that itself had to be created and that's something which is uh something which we cannot even begin to conceive and so on because we don't even understand what is the alternative to existence if the phenomenon of existence has to be created then what's its alternative then how do we understand the existence of God since what we are familiar with existence itself doesn't exist but has to be brought into existence so obviously whatever God is is beyond concept and so on in any case so they saw the Majesty of God at the given of the Torah what am I trying to bring out that this is what's going to happen today right this is the Gula right this isn't something that happened thousands of years ago right this is exactly what the Gula is where do we see this because we say in ding right he behold I will redeem youis the later Gul which is what's going to happen now cous like the first ghula what's the first Gula what is it it's the Gul of Egypt the Redemption of Egypt so God is saying you should know that the last Gul or the real Gula which obviously we're looking forward to now right will be like the first Gula you see what does that mean that means we're going to see the power the might the glory and ultimately the Majesty of God which now is incomprehensible at the Final Redemption right that's what we're looking forward to it's not we're God all of a sudden here I am right no we're going to see here I am now God but what God is his absolute Majesty he has a level of being in Authority that's unfathomable that's what we will see at the Redemption itself and that really is a very important idea now you understand why it says it took yamu it took the view into the spiritual worlds before they knew without a doubt that God is and of course if God is the mosha who directed all the maras and who speaks in his name and so on obviously is his servant or his represent representative now we could ask ourselves okay what does it take to bring the Messiah what does it take to start the process of redemption because the Messianic process is not just the Messianic process we're not waiting for the specifically we are waiting for the Redemption the Redemption is a process much greater than the Messianic era ah you see that's what made people make a mistake they think the go the that the real thing we're waiting for is the Messiah which is of course we are but that's not the full story we are reating a we are waiting for a Redemption itself uh you see and like I say what is the Redemption and I can actually tell you what the steps are one it is the end of the Exile that's step one where evil is destroyed and the Jews are no longer subject to any type of external Force at all you see there are no Nations that will persecute the Jews that's gone on the contrary the nations of the world will run to serve the Jewish people because that's where you can access a divine presence you see so the end of the Exile is step one but more than that it will end the internal Exile and I will tell you something which is very important people make a tremendous mistake on tisho which just passed couple of days ago people don't understand what the real Exile is and I'll tell you and that will end also and that's part of the Exile people think well the Exile is that we are subject right to the What's called the vicissitudes of the nations of the world the evil doctrines the evil plans on what they wish to do to us and what they're doing today I mean the spread of anti-Semitism is beyond belief you see that's the Exile in a certain sense in its worst form but not really what is the real Exile I will tell you and it's interesting it's a statement by the Army be all you can be are you aware of the fact that you cannot be what you potentially have the capacity for why because you are exiled from yourself right you don't realize that there's an exile or there's a limitation on you on the Nish not only because of the world we live in which prevents us from exercising our capacity our potential but we are in Exile we cannot be the that like the and we can't be like them you see and not only that we cannot be the K the incredible sadik that could have been or that war in previous generations even if we struggle you know we don't realize that we are limited you know it says there that many people could have been you know they could have had the rested on them you know let's say likeu or right where he could have stopped the sun in his orbit right but it says the generation wasn't worthy so they couldn't well there you are he can't be what he can be in terms of his power and so on we cannot even develop ourselves the way we can that is the true Tish because we need to remove the impediments one the nations of the world that stop us they and all their distractions and their crazy cultures and so on and their values we can't do that because we are limited by that itself then there's the internal problems the Clipper and that's what I'm referring to now that's the second Tish above that we are surrounded by a Tuma a de basement a deferment a spiritual entity called Z tum that prevents us from being what our our upper Soul can be you see that's a second form of Exile but the third reason why we can't be what we can be is because we lack the in many ways we need the divine presence to be what we can be theay all three things are missing we are subject to The Temptations and the culture and the values of the world we are subject to our own sinning which creates what's called a Clipper a shell a border around us limits in terms of what we could be our souls and so on and then we are controlled by the fact that our uh we cannot be the the is not here which will help us Unite with the so that's the third aspect of prevention or limitation H that's the real Gus for those who don't know and that's the real Tish above in any case so therefore the Redemption is to remove all those blockages so step one would be what would be the end of the Exile all the Exiles step two right is M step three is the building of the bdash which will happen in his time as the gamar says step four is a m David the davidic Messiah right and step five is the divine presence itself right like it says in right who restore his divine presence to Zion which is the Israel and then all the Jews of course will go back to real this is a process and then when that ends in the year 2040 then that's when the Messianic era ends then we go through the spiritual worlds where I mentioned long time ago that we transform the world the physical world into a spiritual world or four we go to AIA we transfer a it becomes called zik purification it becomes and it becomes Bria and that turns into Aus and then from Aus which is the fourth world turns into which is called that's where we have to reside right and it is in that world that we can connect to the real ins right which is an attachment to God that we have no comprehension that's called the ghula you see and the Messianic entry is only part of that that's what's going to happen by the last Redemption and the truth is that's really what happened by Egypt when they received the tah they received God at that in that time that was of their time so to speak should have continued if not for the sin of the golden cave but anyway that's the Messianic process that's an important idea to understand so the question is well what will bring or start this process and the answer is that I will tell you several ideas and what's lacking is some of the ideas and now you understand why he doesn't come you see one is that the process or the job of the Jewish people which is the tikon the rectification of creation has to be complete and calls it the T right the ti is the Divine or the total rectification well that has to happen that's the job is complete to bring God back into creation and we do that through either mitus chuva repentance or or suffering those are the three what's called T devices so that's the first thing that happens we have to do the tikum the second thing is that all theas ofel have to be born right because you need all the Jews to do the TK cuz each one of us has been handed or assigned to a specific area right of sort of want to use that idea each one of us has a certain says all Jews have a part that part is assigned to you to rectify right and it says K that's really what it is we have to build or Rectify or develop if you want to look it that way you see if you don't do it guess what then you have to come back and do it in another lifetime that's the concept of gilgal right or reincarnation so that's the second thing that all the souls have to be back and by the way just as an interesting aside you ever wonder what is the real Sim Mitzvah right I will tell you something very interesting because a Jew cannot rectify anything until he reaches the age of 13 and a girl at the age of 12 right there's a time it starts right so it's not enough just to have the ti complete and all the nishas the Nisha of a Jew itself has to reach Bar Mitzvah or Bas Mitzvah and then he has full free will and then whatever he acts is counted toward the Tik you see therefore why do we celebrate AB mitzah because there's now a Jew that has come to this world and is now bar mitz and he can actually begin his job of tkon and that's a joy for all of us right why because that means the Redemption has the possibility of being fulfilled cuz this person is now bar mitz or Bas mitz and they now their acts now count to the tikon process so that's an unbelievable Joy not just for the parents or the remote family or the mediate family whatever but for the entire Jewish people so really everybody's B mitvah is a SIM for all of us I don't know if people ever thought about that but that's really what it is cuz we now have all the members that are involved in the task you see anyway that's an interesting Vault to say by AB mitzah by the way so that's another idea right so therefore that's a second thing that's needed is that Olden is have to be here but there's a third thing right that all the Jews have to be worthy of going into right the P has to be complete all the Jewish people have to have been born right but more than that all the Jews have to have done their job which is astounding and that really in many ways tells us a great deal well let me give the fourth idea is that justice has to be satisfied in other words evil has a claim right evil says wait a minute they don't deserve the future world they don't deserve the Redemption and not only that I also want equal time showtime as they say and that's the concept of Justice which God voluntarily created right to be part of the world so therefore justice has to be satisfied and we are seeing all of this by the way now but I want to dwell on something very important that all Jews have to have completed their job either through mitv through Chu or through suffering right and that is the problem today you know I want tell you something very interesting there are certain things that will bring the Messiah so then why doesn't he come and I'll give you two that kazal say which are surprising then why doesn't he come because not all the Jews will get this is what's called the this is what prevents the Messiah from coming and we I I once mentioned said well when I go when I pass on and I go into the ganaden and stand in front of God and so on I'm going to go over to the Messiah and say why don't you come so the Messiah is going to say you want me to come I'll come no problem but 20% of the Jews won't make it because they have not fulfilled their task this the woman to come and of course he's going to say no what do you see that it's possible for the Messiah to come and this is interesting it's possible for the Jews to deserve the Messiah but the problem is is that not not everybody will deserve to be part of the Redemption you see and that's what the Messiah told the bicha yeah I'll come no problem but the problem is 20% didn't make it yet they're still straggling you see so make up your mind you want me to come or not and of course he said no you know where you really see this you see this in an incredible y here's what it says it says that at the end the beginning of time God approached the of the mhia the med called the MH that's Mia and he said at the end of time your people which means the Jews right will be will be obligated to die what does that mean why what does that mean not that everybody's but there will be a portion of Jews that don't make it so the which means that they don't have the Redemption right they will not be Z Merit to see the Messiah will be part of the Messianic process right so what does the Mia say and this was extraordinary that's part of the problem M realized wait a minute what do you mean at the end of time that means it's possible for the Messiah to come right and not all the Jews will get it you know without going into well how will the ti can happen obviously it'll happen in certain other ways whatever which I'll get into but in any case so the messia when says okay that's the case right then it's possible to come but it's not it may be that coming at that time even though it's possible not all the Jews will get I cannot permit that so the Mia did was extraordinary he said that he will take on whatever it takes which is basically tremendous or suffering for every Jew to be possible to be in to be at the Messianic era you see that's what he said was and as such he's among the greatest what's called those people that take on the problems or the suffering of the Jewish people which is another topic and so on fact what he took on was so great that the at the end of time when the Mia does come then they will all come over to him and say you are greater than us because what you did is beyond comprehension you took on the suffering for every Jew who ever lived to get into the Messianic process you see which is incredible you see but in any case that's another she the suffering of the M but in any case that's what he says but why cuz he realized it is possible for messiah to come right but not everybody's going to make it and that's all so he is a guarantor so to speak that everybody will make it and deserve now I'll tell you something interesting there are two things that K say clearly will bring the Messiah right so in many ways there's something that startling really msia could have come based on what I'm saying you see but the problem is that there are many Jews that don't deserve to be around at that time and they won't get what seems to be either ganaden or the Messianic era or whatever so the G says well we know the says that not speaking speaking slander L right is what got the Jews out out of Egypt the Egyptian bondage but that's what it says behold I will rescue you the last schs like the first but that also refers to how they got out so just like they got out how by not speaking lashara it says that in the med three times that the Jews were only redeemed because they did not speak lashara that's in the she that I gave about lashara right that's how it's going to happen happen at the end of time and by the way that's why there's such a tremendous awareness and consciousness of not speaking lashara today because we are at the end of time and needs us not to talk to bring the mhia the second way which people would never imagine it says in the med in the sa ofra third section right the Exile will only end which is the beginning of the Redemption section or process Elish Li only because of the learning of the the Merit Li right because of the Merit of learning mishas it actually says that in the mishna in the med it's astounding now there's a reason for that you know uh which is something that I won't dwell on but this is what it says that if people learn mishas but it has to be a certain way and so on which is a secret of how to bring the
