why so before God created there was no
time but once God created he created
time together with space and together
with the souls of Israel and if base and
the souls of people will continue
forever and the time by definition will
continue with that with them. And so we
could correctly say that yes there will
come a time and an era that we will live
forever, right? The world to come is
this forever life. We will live body and
soul together forever. Which is
interesting because now what we have is
the physical world the way we know it
where people die and things wither and
no nothing lasts forever. So we're
talking about a physical world and a
physical body that will last forever in
time. And so that means time will last
forever with it. The concept of time
ending
would
only have an expression when we talk
about going back into God before time.
Meaning before the concept where God
created time from his true level of
existence is above and beyond time. We
can't apply time to that space. Meaning
we can't say that God existed forever by
himself above time because forever is
forever is a time bound word. So God
existed. Time didn't exist. When God
created a new thing with the creation of
that new thing attached to that new
thing is time. And so on a spiritual
level, it began with spiritual worlds
and the spiritual source of souls and
and there was a spiritual process of
development which is what what we would
call spiritual time. And now we have in
our world physical time in the physical
world but it's ultimately always
connected to the spiritual concept of
time which which because it's all really
one creation. The spiritual and physical
world that God created is really all
one. And so it's all connected to that
same concept of time which begins when
God begins to create. That's when time
started because once we have the concept
of a process,
so we have the beginning of what we
would call time. And of course once we
have the the the substance to that
process, so then we would call that the
beginning of space. And once we have the
idea of the soul of of human of of human
beings particularly the Jewish people.
So there we have the beginning of of
mankind. And all this begins in its most
pristine sublime state is in this famous
expression from the
liro when it when it came up in God's
will in God's divine will to create. So
the real language is first he he calls
things to emanate from him and emanation
is somewhat attached but then ex
extending
from its source and so the beginning
levels of of of existence kind of came
from from Hashem himself and then
there's different levels of concealment
and ultimately we reach more
separateness spiritual separateness and
then ultimately this physical world
which is considered as the most separate
as we can can have and this is of course
the last and final world. This long
introduction is really to help us
appreciate that God created three
dimensions in in in existence. The
ultimate reality is a combination of
time, space and and the soul of man.
When will time end? Well, in order for
time to end, this world would have to
end and we would have to end. And since
there is a potential for us which we
will God willing attain soon to live
forever. So time will exist forever. So
our time could run out for a particular
thing but time itself I don't see ever
running out. What we still must address
and accept is and and certainly
understand is that within God himself,
the concept of time not existing still
exists because the level of God on on
essence before creation is unchanged and
unaffected. So God himself as he is onto
himself
really is above time. So there is this
concept of being above time, which means
time doesn't exist for God himself.
Within creation, time exists. It's for
example,
let's say we're playing chess.
So while we're playing chess, there are
many rules that we accept to follow
because they're the rules of the game of
chess. But outside of the game of chess,
those rules don't exist. So within the
rules of creation which mandate time,
space and the soul of man. So these
three things exist. But outside of that
they don't exist.
As if they never existed.
It's hard to fully grasp because once
God created something from his essence.
So how do you say it's as if it never
existed? But this is the the non-logical
logic that we must accept and follow
from our sages.
