Trust God Completely | Nissim Black

So, listen, times are hard for everybody right now, including me. I'm not just saying this. Our soldiers [music] are there, they're fighting on the front line. We're dealing with anti-semitism all over the world. Right now, more than ever, is the time [music] to strengthen our bitachon. It's time to strengthen our trust in God. Really, this breaks down into many different levels of trust. But really, let's just talk about two types of trust. [music] There's one type of trust where you could trust God, you could believe in God, but you could still be only hoping. I trust God, I pray to God, and I know that he can help me. He can, if he wants to, and [music] I hope that he does do so. Now, that's one level of trust, but that's not complete trust. Complete trust is that I believe in God, and I believe that he wants to do good for me. I believe that he only wants the best for me, and I believe not that he can help me. God will help [music] me. He's absolutely going to do for me. He wants to do for me more than what I want to do for myself. [music] That is real trust. When a person goes to sit down and then you pull out a chair, most people never check the chair to see if the chair is actually going to hold them. They just believe [music] it. In the same way, we need to put our trust in God. God's going to help me.
